31 If they profane my statutes; and do not keep my commandments:
32 I will visit their transgressions with a rod; and their iniquities with scourges.
33 But from him I will not withdraw my mercy; nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.
34 I will not violate my covenant; nor annul what have passed my lips.
35 Once for all I have sworn by my holiness; that I will not be false to David.
36 His seed shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before me;
37 and as the moon forever fixed: and the witness in heaven is faithful."
