7 Then Jacob was greatly afraid, and distressed: and he divided the people that were with him, and the flocks, and herds, and camels, into two bands;
8 He thought: "If Esau comes and attacks the first group, the other may be able to escape."
9 Then Jacob prayed: "O God of my father Abraham, the God of my father Isaac, O LORD, you said to me: 'Go back to your country and your family and I will be good to you.'
10 I am not worthy of all the loyal love and all the faithfulness that you have shown your servant, for with only my staff I crossed this Jordan, and now I have become two camps.
11 Deliver me from the hands of my brother Esau, for I fear him: lest he will come and smite the mother with the children.
