31 Ða iudeas bædon pilatum þt man for-bræce hyra sceancan. and lete hi nyðer for-þam þe hit wæs gegearcung-dæg. þt þa lichaman ne wunodon on röde o[n] reste-dæge; Se dæg wæs mære reste-dæg;

36 Ðas þing wæron gewordene þt þt gewrit wære gefylled. ne for-bræce ge nän bän on him.
37 hig geseoð on hwæne hig onfæstnodon;
38 Witodlice iosep fram arimathëa bæd pilatus þt He moste niman þæs hælendes lichaman. for-þam þe he wæs þæs hælendes leorning-cniht. þis he dyde dearnunga for þære iudea ege. & pilatus him lyfde; Ða com he & nam þæs hælendes lichaman
