John 7:3-10

Williams(i) 3 So His brothers said to Him, "You must leave here and go to Judea, to let your disciples also see the works that you are doing; 4 for no one does anything in secret when he is trying to be known to the public. If you are going to do this, show yourself publicly to the world." 5 For even His brothers did not believe in Him. 6 Then Jesus said to them, "It is not yet time for me to do so, but anytime is suitable for you. 7 It is impossible for the world to hate you; it is I whom it hates, because I continue to testify that its works are wicked. 8 Go up to the feast yourselves; I am not going up to it yet, for it is not quite time for me to go." 9 He told them this and stayed on in Galilee. 10 But after His brothers had gone up to the feast, then He went up too, not publicly but, as it were, privately.
