¹⁹ Again truly I say to you that if two of you on the earth might agree concerning any matter that they shall ask, it will be done for them by My Father who is in the heavens.

²⁴ leave your gift there before the altar and first go away, be reconciled to your brother; and then having come, offer your gift.

⁷ Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and it will be opened unto you.

²² And all things, as many as you might ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

²⁴ Because of this I say to you, all things whatever praying, you also ask, believe that you receive, and it will be to you.

¹³ And whatever you might ask in My name, this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. ¹⁴ If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.

⁷ If you abide in Me and My words abide in you, you shall ask whatever you wish, and to you it will come to pass.

¹⁶ You did not chose Me, but I chose you and appointed you, that you should go and you should bear fruit, and your fruit should remain, so that whatever you might ask the Father in My name, He may give you.

²³ And in that day, you will ask of Me nothing. Truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you may ask the Father in My name, He will give you.

¹⁴ All these were steadfastly continuing with one accord in prayer, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.

¹ And during the arriving of the day of Pentecost, they were all together in one place. ² And suddenly a sound like a violent rushing wind came out of heaven, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.

²⁴ And having heard, they lifted up their voice with one accord to God and said, “Sovereign Lord, You made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all that is in them, ²⁵ having spoken by the Holy Spirit through the mouth of Your servant, our father David: ‘Why did the Gentiles rage, and the peoples devise vain things? ²⁶ The kings of the earth took their stand, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord and against His Christ.’ ²⁷ For in truth, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, were gathered together in this city against Your holy servant Jesus whom You anointed, ²⁸ to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose had determined beforehand to happen. ²⁹ And now, Lord, look upon their threats, and grant to Your servants to speak Your word with all boldness, ³⁰ in that You stretch out Your hand for healing and signs and wonders to take place through the name of Your holy servant Jesus.” ³¹ And they having prayed, the place in which they were assembled was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and were speaking the word of God with boldness.

⁴ And we will steadfastly continue in prayer and the ministry of the word.”

⁵ So indeed Peter was kept in the prison, but fervent prayer was being made to God by the church concerning him.

¹⁸ through all prayer and supplication, praying in the Spirit in every season and unto this very thing, watching with all perseverance and supplication for all saints, ¹⁹ and also for me, that in the opening of my mouth, divine utterance may be given to me to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel, ²⁰ for which I am an ambassador in a chain, that in it I may be bold, as it behooves me to speak.

¹⁹ for I know that through your prayer and the provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, this will turn out for me to deliverance,

¹⁴ Is anyone among you sick? Let him call near the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, having anointed him with oil in the name of the Lord. ¹⁵ And the prayer of faith will save the one ailing, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he might be one having committed sins, it will be forgiven him. ¹⁶ Therefore confess the sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man being made effective prevails much.

²² and whatever we might ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and we do the things pleasing before Him.

¹⁴ And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we might ask anything according to His will, He hears us. ¹⁵ And if we know that He hears us, whatever we might ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked from Him. ¹⁶ If anyone should see his brother sinning a sin not unto death, he shall ask, and He will give him life, to those sinning not unto death. There is a sin unto death; I do not say that he should implore concerning that.

⁴ These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the Lord of the earth. ⁵ And if anyone should desire to harm them, fire goes out of their mouth and devours their enemies. And if anyone should desire to harm them, thus it is necessary for him to be killed. ⁶ These have the power to shut the sky, so that no rain shall fall in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over the waters, to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with every plague, as often as they might desire.
