⁴ Therefore whoever will humble himself as this little child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of the heavens.

¹ In that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who then is the greatest in the kingdom of the heavens?”

²⁶ Thus will it not be among you. But whoever wishes to become great among you, he will be your servant; ²⁷ and whoever wishes to be first among you, he will be your slave—

¹¹ But the greatest among you will be your servant. ¹² And whoever shall exalt himself will be humbled, and whoever shall humble himself will be exalted.

⁴³ But it shall not be thus among you. Instead, whoever desires to become great among you will be your servant,

⁴⁸ and He said to them, “Whoever shall receive this child in My name, receives Me; and whoever shall receive Me, receives the One having sent Me. For the one being least among you all, he shall be great.”

¹¹ For everyone exalting himself will be humbled, and the one humbling himself will be exalted.”

¹⁰ Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.

⁵ Likewise, younger ones, be subject to your elders. And all, gird on humility one to another, because, “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
