¹⁰ Teach me to do Your will; for You are my God; Your good Spirit shall guide me in the straight way.

⁷ But they are as a man transgressing a covenant.

²¹ "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven.

⁵⁰ For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven, he is My brother and sister and mother."

³¹ Which of the two did the will of his father?" They said to Him, "The first." Jesus said to them, "Assuredly I say to you, that tax collectors and harlots enter the kingdom of God before you.

³⁵ For whoever does the will of God is My brother and My sister and mother."

²¹ For from within, out of the heart of men, come forth evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

¹³ who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

¹⁷ If anyone desires to do His will, he will know about the doctrine, whether it is from God, or whether I am speaking on My own authority.

² Certainly not! We died to sin--How shall we live any longer in it?

¹¹ Likewise you also, consider yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

⁴ Therefore, my brothers, you also were put to death to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another--to Him who was raised from the dead, so that we might bear fruit to God.

² And do not fashion yourselves after this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and well pleasing and perfect will of God.

⁷ For none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself.

¹⁵ and He died for all, so that they who live should live no longer for themselves, but for the One who died for them and rose again.

¹⁹ For I through the law died to the law, that I might live to God. ²⁰ I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.

³ among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the senses, and were by nature children of wrath, as also the rest.

¹⁷ This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

²² that you put off, concerning your former way of life, the old man which is being corrupted according to the deceitful lusts, ²³ and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, ²⁴ and that you put on the new man which was created in the likeness of God, in true righteousness and holiness.

⁷ Therefore do not be participants with them. ⁸ For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light--

¹⁷ Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

⁶ not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God wholeheartedly,

⁹ On account of this we also, since the day we heard, do not cease praying for you, and asking that you may be filled with the full knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

⁷ in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them. ⁸ But now you yourselves are to put off all these: wrath, anger, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.

¹² Epaphras greets you, who is one of you, a bondservant of Christ, always struggling for you in his prayers, that you may stand mature and complete in all the will of God.

¹⁸ In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

³ For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, being deceived, being enslaved to various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. ⁴ But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, ⁵ not by works of righteousness which we did, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, ⁶ whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, ⁷ that having been justified by His grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. ⁸ Faithful is this word, and concerning these things I want you to strongly affirm, so that those who have believed in God may take thought to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.

²¹ make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing before Him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

¹⁸ Exercising His will He begat us by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.

¹⁴ as obedient children, not fashioning yourselves after the former lusts, as you did in your ignorance;

¹ Therefore having put away all malice, all guile, hypocrisy, envy, and all slanders,

¹⁴ or to governors, as to those being sent for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those doing good. ¹⁵ For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may silence the ignorance of foolish men--

¹⁷ And the world is passing away, and its lust; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
