⁸ and I add not to turn aside the foot of Israel from off the ground that I appointed to your fathers, only, if they watch to do all that I have commanded them--to all the law, and the statutes, and the ordinances by the hand of Moses..

³⁶ Thus Aaron and his sons did all the things which Yahweh had instructed by means of Moses.

¹¹ and to direct the sons of Israel in all the statutes which Yahweh has spoken to them by means of Moses.

⁴⁰ Hence you will observe His statutes and His instructions which I am enjoining on you today, that it may be well with you and your sons after you, and that you may prolong your days on the ground that Yahweh your Elohim is giving to you, all the days.

¹ Moses called to all Israel and said to them:Hear, Israel, the statutes and the judgments that I am speaking in your ears today, that you learn them and observe to obey them.

³¹ As for you, stay here with Me, and let Me speak to you about all the instruction and the statutes and the judgments that you shall teach them, so that they may obey them in the land that I am giving to them to tenant it.

¹ All the instruction which I am enjoining on you today you shall observe to obey, that you may live and multiply and enter and tenant the land about which Yahweh had sworn to your fathers.

²⁶ Cursed be the one who is not performing all the words of this law to do them. Then all the people will say:Amen!

¹⁵ See! I put before you today life and good, death and evil. ¹⁶ In case you should hearken to the instructions of Yahweh your Elohim that I am enjoining on you today, to love Yahweh your Elohim, to walk in His ways and to observe His instructions, His statutes and His judgments, then you will live and multiply, and Yahweh your Elohim will bless you in the land where you are entering to tenant it. ¹⁷ Yet should your heart turn around, and you are not hearkening, and you are induced to bow yourself down to other elohim and serve them, ¹⁸ I tell you today that you shall perish, yea perish. You shall not prolong your days on the ground where you are crossing over the Jordan to enter to tenant it. ¹⁹ Today I call the heavens and the earth to testify against you:Life and death I have put before you, the blessing and the malediction. Now choose life that you may live, you and your seed, ²⁰ by loving Yahweh your Elohim, hearkening to His voice and clinging to Him (for that means life to you and prolonging of your days) so that you may dwell on the ground about which Yahweh had sworn to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob, to give to them.

¹⁰ and I have appointed a place for My people, for Israel, and have planted it, and it has tabernacled in its place, and it is not troubled any more, and the sons of perverseness do not add to afflict it any more, as in the beginning,

⁹ `And I have prepared a place for My people Israel, and planted it, and it has dwelt in its place, and is not troubled any more, and the sons of perverseness add not to wear it out as at first,

¹⁷ `And you, if you do walk before Me as David your father walked, even to do according to all that I have commanded you, and My statutes and My judgments do keep-. <sup>18</sup> then I have established the throne of your kingdom, as I covenanted with David your father, saying, There is not cut off a man to you--a ruler in Israel;" <sup>19</sup> and if you turn back--you--and have forsaken My statutes, and My commands, that I have placed before you, and have gone and served other elohims, and bowed yourselves to them--then I have plucked them from off My ground that I have given to them, <sup>20</sup> and this house that I have sanctified for My name, I cast from before My face, and make it for a proverb, and for a byword, among all the peoples. <sup>21</sup> `And this house that has been high, to every one passing by it, is an astonishment, and he has said, Wherefore has Yahweh done thus to this land, and to this house? ²² and they have said, Because that they have forsaken Yahweh, Elohim of their fathers, who brought them out from the land of Egypt, and lay hold on other elohims, and bow themselves to them, and serve them, therefore He has brought upon them all this evil..

¹⁹ If you are willing and hearken, the good of the land shall you eat." ²⁰ Yet if you are refusing and rebel, by the sword shall you be devoured. For the mouth of Yahweh speaks."

²⁵ Therefore say unto them:Thus said the Lord Yahweh:With the blood you do eat, And your eyes you lift up unto your idols, And blood you shed, and the land you inherit!" ²⁶ You have stood on your sword, You have done abomination, Each the wife of his neighbor you have defiled, And the land you possess!"

⁶ Now they were both just in front of God, going in all the precepts and just statutes of the Lord, blameless."

¹⁰ For whoever are of works of law are under a curse, for it written that, Accursed is everyone who is not remaining in all things written in the scroll of the law to do them." ¹¹ Now that in law no one is being justified with God is evident, for the just one by faith shall be living." ¹² Now the law is not of faith, but who does them "shall be living in them." ¹³ Christ reclaims us from the curse of the law, becoming a curse for our sakes, for it is written, Accursed is everyone hanging on a pole,
