⁶ And he writes unto them a letter a second time, saying, `If you [are] for me, and to my voice are hearkening, take the heads of the men--the sons of your lord, and come unto me about this time to-morrow, to Jezreel;' and the sons of the king [are] seventy men, with the great ones of the city those bringing them up.

⁴ Yahweh said to Moses:Take all heads of the people and gibbet them before Yahweh in front of the sun so that the heat of Yahweh's anger might turn back from Israel.

⁹ You shall not bow yourself down to them, nor be made to serve them, for I, Yahweh your Elohim, am a jealous El, visiting the depravity of the fathers on the sons, on the third and on the fourth generation, to those hating Me,

²⁴ And Joshua takes Achan son of Zerah, and the silver, and the robe, and the wedge of gold, and his sons, and his daughters, and his ox, and his ass, and his flock, and his tent, and all that he has, and all Israel with him, and they cause them to go up the valley of Achor. ²⁵ And Joshua said, `What! you have troubled us! --Yahweh does trouble you this day;' and all Israel cast stones at him, and they burn them with fire, and they stone them with stones,

⁸ And she writes letters in the name of Ahab, and seals with his seal, and sends the letters unto the elders, and unto the freemen, who are in his city, those dwelling with Naboth, ⁹ and she writes in the letters, saying, `Proclaim a fast, and cause Naboth to sit at the head of the people, ¹⁰ and cause two men--sons of worthlessness--to sit over-against him, and they testify of him, saying, You have blessed Elohim and Melech; and they have brought him out, and stoned him, and he dies.. ¹¹ And the men of his city, the elders and the freemen who are dwelling in his city, do as Jezebel has sent unto them, as written in the letters that she sent unto them,

³² And he lifts up his face unto the window, and said, `Who [is] with me? --who?' and look out unto him do two [or] three eunuchs;"

¹⁹ Is Eloah secluding payment for his lawlessness to give to his sons? May He repay him that he may know!

²¹ Prepare a slaughter for his sons, for the depravity of their fathers. They will fail to rise and tenant the earth, and fill the surface of the habitance with cities." ²² And I rise against them,averring is Yahweh of hosts. "And I cut off from Babylon the name and remnant, and propagator and progeny,averring is Yahweh."

³⁰ He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who is not gathering with Me is scattering."

⁵⁰ Yet Jesus said to him, "Be not forbidding, for he who is not against you is for you."

²⁰ But I have much against you, seeing that you pardon that woman of yours, Jezebel, who says that she is a prophetess, and is teaching and deceiving My slaves so as to commit prostitution and to be eating idol sacrifices." ²¹ And I give her time that she should be repenting, and she is not willing to repent of her prostitution." ²² Lo! I will cast her into a couch, and those committing adultery with her into great affliction, if ever they will not be repenting of her acts." ²³ And her children shall I be killing with death, and all the ecclesias shall know that I an He Who is searching the kidneys and hearts. And I will be giving to each of you in accord with your acts."
