¹ In the second year of Nebuchadnezzar's kingdom, Nebuchadnezzar dreams dreams; agitated is his spirit and his sleep is fleeing from him." ² Saying is the king to call the sacred scribes and the magi and the enchanters and the Chaldeans to tell the king his dreams. Then they are coming and standing before the king. ³ Saying is the king to them, "A dream I dream, and agitated is my spirit to know the dream." ⁴ Speaking are the Chaldeans to the king in Syriac, "O king, live for the eon! State the dream to your servants, and we will disclose the interpretation." ⁵ Answering is the king and saying to the Chaldeans, "The matter is departing from me. Should you not be making known to me the dream and its interpretation, you shall be dismembered, and the confiscation of your houses shall be promulgated." ⁶ Should you disclose the dream and its interpretation to me, gifts and a reward and great esteem shall you receive before me. Only disclose the dream and its interpretation." ⁷ They answer a second time and are saying, "The king will state the dream to his servants, then the interpretation will we disclose." ⁸ Answering is the king and saying, "I know for certain that you would gain time, forasmuch as you perceive that the matter is departing from me." ⁹ For, should you not be making the dream known to me, there is but one edict for you, as you will concoct a lying and corrupt matter to say before me, till the times are altering. Only the dream state to me, and I shall know that its interpretation you will disclose to me." ¹⁰ Answering are the Chaldeans before the king and saying, "Actually no mortal on earth can disclose the king's matter, forasmuch as any other king, grandee, or authority does not ask a matter such as this of any sacred scribe, or magus or Chaldean." ¹¹ The matter that the king is asking is heavy and extraordinary. Actually no other will disclose it before the king, only the elohim whose abode actually is not with any flesh." ¹² Wherefore the king is angry and has great wrath, and says to destroy all the wise men of Babylon." ¹³ Then the edict is issued to despatch all the wise men, and they seek Daniel and all his partners to be dispatched." ¹⁴ Then Daniel replies with counsel and tact to Arioch, the grandee of the king's executioners, seeing that he issues the edict to despatch the wise men of Babylon." ¹⁵ He is responding and saying to Arioch, who has the king's authority, "Why is the edict before the king urgent?Then Arioch made the matter known to Daniel." ¹⁶ Now Daniel goes in and petitions the king that he will give him a stated time to disclose all the interpretation to the king. ¹⁷ Then Daniel departs to his house, and to Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah, his partners, he makes all the matter known." ¹⁸ He is charging them to petition for compassions before the Eloah of the heavens concerning this secret; that Daniel and his partners not perish with the remaining wise men of Babylon. ¹⁹ Then to Daniel in a vision that night, the secret of the king is revealed. Then Daniel blesses the Eloah of the heavens." ²⁰ Responding is Daniel and saying, "Blessed be the name of Him Who is the Eloah, from the eon and unto the eon, for the wisdom and the mastery, they are His." ²¹ He is altering the eras and the stated times, causing kings to pass away and causing kings to rise, granting wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those knowing understanding." ²² He is revealing the deep and the concealed things; knowing what is in the darkness since with Him a stream of light solves them. ²³ To Thee, Eloah of my forefathers, am I acclaiming and lauding, that wisdom and mastery Thou dost grant to me. And now Thou dost make known to me that which we petition of Thee; for the king's matter Thou hast made known to us." ²⁴ Wherefore Daniel goes in unto Arioch, whom the king assigned to destroy all the wise men of Babylon. He departs and says to him, "The wise men of Babylon you must not destroy. Bring me in before the king, and the interpretation am I disclosing to the king." ²⁵ Then Arioch, in a fluster, brings Daniel in before the king and says to him, "I have found a wise master of the sons of the deportation of Judah who will make known the interpretation to the king." ²⁶ Responding is the king and saying to Daniel, whose Chaldaic name is Belteshazzar, "Actually, can you make known to me the dream which I perceive, and its interpretation? ²⁷ Answering is Daniel before the king and saying, "The secret which the king is asking, not the wise men, the magi, the sacred scribes, nor the hieromancers can disclose to the king." ²⁸ Actually, the Eloah in the heavens reveals secrets, and He makes known to king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. O king, live for the eon! Your dream, even the visions of your head on your bed; it is this:" ²⁹ You, O king--your ruminations on your bed come up regarding all that shall be after this. The Revealer of secrets makes known to you what that shall be." ³⁰ And I--this secret is revealed to me not by wisdom actually in me more than any other of the living. It is revealed only to the intent that the interpretation to the king be made known, and that you shall know the ruminations of your heart." ³¹ You, O king, perceiving were you, and lo, one great image! This image is grand, and its aspect excellent, rising to your view, and the appearance of the image is terrifying you." ³² The image's head is good gold, its chest and its arms are silver, its belly and its thighs are copper, ³³ its legs are iron, its feet, part of them are iron, and part of them are clay." ³⁴ You were perceiving till a stone severs itself, that is, not by hands, and it collides with the image at its feet that were of iron and clay, and pulverizes them." ³⁵ Then pulverized, as one, are the iron, the clay, the copper, the silver, and the gold, and they are as chaff from summer threshing sites, and the wind lifts them up, and no place at all is found for them. And the stone that collides with the image becomes a vast mountain range, and fills all the earth." ³⁶ This is the dream, and its interpretation will we state before the king." ³⁷ You, O king, are king of kings, seeing that the Eloah of the heavens grants a safeguarded kingdom to you, and might and honor and esteem." ³⁸ In every place where the sons of mortals are abiding, the animal of the field, the flyer of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, He grants into your hand. He gives you authority over them all. You are the head that is gold." ³⁹ In your place shall arise another kingdom of the earth, inferior to you, that is silver; and another kingdom, the third, that is copper, shall have authority in all the earth." ⁴⁰ The fourth kingdom shall be mighty as iron, forasmuch as iron is pulverizing and overcoming all. As iron that smashes, all these shall it pulverize and smash." ⁴¹ Seeing that you perceived the feet and toes, part of them of potter's clay, and part of them of iron:The kingdom shall be composite. And the stability of iron will be in it, forasmuch as you perceived the iron mixed with the muddy clay." ⁴² And the toes of the feet, part of them of iron and part of them of clay:at the end, the kingdom shall be mighty, yet part of it shall be frail." ⁴³ Seeing that you perceived the iron mixed with muddy clay:Thus mixing with wealth is the armed force of the mortal. Yet with wealth it is not clinging, this one with that one, even as iron mixes not with clay." ⁴⁴ In their days, that is, of these kings, the Eloah of the heavens will set up a kingdom that for the eons shall not come to harm. His kingdom shall not be left to another people. It will pulverize and terminate all these kingdoms, and it shall be confirmed for the eons." ⁴⁵ Forasmuch as you perceived that a stone severs itself from a mountain range, that is, not by hands, and it pulverizes the iron, the copper, the clay, the silver, and the gold, the great Eloah makes known to the king what shall occur after this. Certain is the dream and faithful its interpretation." ⁴⁶ Then king Nebuchadnezzar falls on his face and worships Daniel, and he says an approach present and incense of attainment are to be libated to him." ⁴⁷ Answering is the king to Daniel and saying, "In verity, your Eloah, He is the Eloah of elohim, Lord of kings, and only Revealer of hidden secrets, seeing that you can reveal this secret." ⁴⁸ Then the king made much of Daniel:he grants to him immense, huge gifts; and gives him authority over all the province of Babylon; and makes him grandee of the prefects who are over all the wise men of Babylon." ⁴⁹ Then Daniel petitions the king, and he assigns Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego over the administration of the province of Babylon. Thus Daniel is in the gateway of the king."

⁵ And dreaming are both a dream. Each man has his dream in the same night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the chief cupbearer and the chief baker, who are the king of Egypt's who are bound in the round-house. ⁶ And coming to them is Joseph in the morning, and he is seeing them. And, behold! They are turbulent!" ⁷ And asking is he Pharaoh's eunuchs, who are with him in the ward of his lord's house, saying, "For what reason are your faces evil today? ⁸ And saying are they to him, "A dream we dream, and there is no interpreting of it.And saying is Joseph to them, "Do not interpretations belong to the Elohim? Relate them, pray, to me.

¹ And coming is it at the end of two years to a day that Pharaoh dreams and, behold! Standing is he at the waterway. ² And, behold! From the waterway are coming up seven young cows, lovely in appearance and plump of flesh. And grazing are they in the marsh grass. ³ And, behold! Seven other young cows are coming up after them from the waterway, evil in appearance and thin of flesh. And standing are they beside the young cows on the shore of the waterway. ⁴ And eating are the seven young cows, evil in appearance and thin of flesh, the seven young cows, lovely in appearance and plump. And waking is Pharaoh. ⁵ And sleeping is he and dreaming a second time. And, behold! Seven spikes are coming up on one reed, plump and good. ⁶ And behold! Seven other spikes, thin and blasted by the burning east wind are sprouting after them. ⁷ And up are swallowing the seven spikes, thin and blasted by the east wind, the seven plump and full spikes. And waking is Pharaoh. And, behold! A dream was it. ⁸ And coming is it in the morning that agitated is his spirit, and sending is he and calling all the sacred scribes of Egypt and all the wise men. And relating is Pharaoh to them his dream. Yet no one is there to interpret it for Pharaoh. ⁹ And speaking is the chief of the cupbearers to Pharaoh, saying, "Of my sin am I reminded today. ¹⁰ Pharaoh was wroth with his servants, and gave us in ward in the house of the chief of the executioners, me and the chief of the bakers. ¹¹ And dreaming are we a dream in the same night, I and he. Each man dreamed according to the interpretation of his dream. ¹² And there with us was a Hebrew lad, a servant of the chief of the executioners. And we related them to him and he is interpreting for us our dreams. For each man, according to his dream, he interpreted. ¹³ And coming is it that, as he interpreted to us, so it comes to be. Me he restores to my post, and him he hanged. ¹⁴ And sending is Pharaoh and calling Joseph. And running him are they from the cistern. And shaving is he and changing his garments, and coming to Pharaoh. ¹⁵ And saying is Pharaoh to Joseph, "A dream I dream, and there is no one to interpret it. And I hear say of you, that you, hearing a dream, interpret it. ¹⁶ And answering Pharaoh is Joseph saying, "Apart from the Elohim there is no answer for the welfare of Pharaoh. ¹⁷ And speaking is Pharaoh to Joseph saying, "In my dream, behold me standing on the shore of the waterway. ¹⁸ And behold! From the waterway are coming up seven young cows, plump of flesh and lovely in shape. And grazing are they in the marsh grass. ¹⁹ And, behold! Seven other young cows are coming up from the waterway after them, poor and exceedingly evil in shape, and emaciated of flesh. Not seen have I such as they in all the land of Egypt, so evil. ²⁰ And eating are the seven emaciated and evil young cows the first seven lovely and plump young cows, ²¹ and coming are they into their inwards, yet not known is it that they come into their inwards, and their appearance is evil, as at the start. And awaking am I. ²² And I sleep and am seeing again in my dream, and, behold! Seven spikes are coming up on one reed, full and good. ²³ And, behold! Seven other spikes, puny, thin, and blasted by the burning east wind, sprouting after them. ²⁴ And swallowing up are the seven thin spikes. And stating this am I to the sacred scribes, and there is no one telling me what it is. ²⁵ And saying is Joseph to Pharaoh, "The dream of Pharaoh, one is it. What the Elohim will be doing He tells to Pharaoh. ²⁶ The seven good young cows, seven years are they; and the seven good spikes, seven years are they. The dream of Pharaoh, one is it. ²⁷ And the seven emaciated and evil young cows coming up after them, seven years are they. And the seven empty spikes, blasted by the burning east wind, are coming to be seven years of famine. ²⁸ It is the word which I speak to Pharaoh: What the Elohim will do He shows to Pharaoh. ²⁹ Behold! Seven years are coming of great satisfaction in all the land of Egypt. ³⁰ Yet rise will seven years of famine after them. And forgotten will be all the satisfaction in all the land of Egypt, and finish will the famine the land. ³¹ And not known shall be the satisfaction in the land, in view of the famine that is afterward, for heavy will it be exceedingly. ³² And on account of the repetition of the dream to Pharaoh twice, it is that the matter is established with the Elohim. And the Elohim will hasten His doing of it. ³³ And now, see will Pharaoh to a man of understanding and wisdom, and set him over the land of Egypt. ³⁴ Doing this will Pharaoh, and he will give the supervision to supervisors over the land and a fifth of all the produce of the land of Egypt will they take in the seven years of satisfaction. ³⁵ And get together shall they all the food of these seven coming good years, and heap up cereals under the hand of Pharaoh for food in the cities, and keep it. ³⁶ And the food shall come to be supervised in the land for the seven years of the famine which shall come to be in the land of Egypt, and so the land shall not be cut off by the famine.

⁵ A son of twenty and five years [is] Jehoiakim in his reigning, and eleven years he has reigned in Jerusalem, and he does the evil thing in the eyes of Yahweh his Elohim;" ⁶ against him has Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon come up, and binds him in brazen fetters to take him away to Babylon. ⁷ And of the vessels of the house of Yahweh has Nebuchadnezzar brought in to Babylon, and puts them in his temple in Babylon.

¹ During that night, sleep flit away from the king, and he said to bring the memorial scroll of records of the days; and they were read before the king.

¹⁵ In a dream, a vision of the night, When stupor falls upon men, In slumberings on their bed;" ¹⁶ Then He reveals matters to the ear of men, And He dismays them with admonitions, ¹⁷ To withdraw a human from his deed, And that He may obliterate pride in a master.

¹ The word that has been unto Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, --it [is] the first year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, --"

¹ In the third year of the kingdom of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, comes Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, to Jerusalem and is besieging it." ² Yet Yahweh is giving into his hand Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and at the end, the furnishings of the house of Elohim. Then he is bringing them to the land of Shinar, to the house of his Elohim, and the furnishings he brings to the treasure-house of his Elohim." ³ Speaking is the king to Ashpenaz, the grandee of his eunuchs, to bring of the sons of the grandees of Israel, and of the seed royal, and of the highborn;" ⁴ boys in whom there is no blemish at all, who are of good appearance. Those intelligent in all wisdom, and knowing knowledge, and understanding what is known, and who have vigor in them to stand in the palace before the king, he is to teach them the script and language of the Chaldeans." ⁵ Assigning is the king to them the day's menu in its day, from the dainties of the king, and from the wine of the king's feasts. They are to grow up three years, and at their end they are to stand before the king."

³ Saying is the king to them, "A dream I dream, and agitated is my spirit to know the dream."

⁵ A dream I perceived and it is terrifying me, and portents on my bed, even the visions of my head are flustering me."

¹⁸ Then the king departs to his palace and remains in his house, fasting. Diversions are not brought before him, even though his sleep flees from him. Yet Eloah closes the mouths of the lions and they do not harm Daniel."

⁸ And coming is it in the morning that agitated is his spirit, and sending is he and calling all the sacred scribes of Egypt and all the wise men. And relating is Pharaoh to them his dream. Yet no one is there to interpret it for Pharaoh.

¹¹ Pharaoh, however, called for the wise men and for the enchanters. And even they, the sacred scribes of Egypt, did so with their occultisms.

¹⁰ There shall not be found among you one causing his son or his daughter to pass through fire, or one divining divinations, or consulting clouds, auguring or enchantin. ¹¹ or charming with charms, one asking of a medium or wizard or inquiring after the dead. ¹² For anyone doing these things is an abhorrence to Yahweh your Elohim, and owing to these abhorrences Yahweh your Elohim is evicting them from your presence.

¹⁹ And in case they shall say to you, "Inquire of the mediums, and of the ventriloquists, and of the wizards, the chirpers and the cooers,Should not a people of its Elohim inquire? Who inquires about the living of the dead?

³ And void is the spirit of Egypt within it, and I will swallow up its counsel. And they inquire of the forbidden idols, and of the ventriloquists, and of the mediums and of the wizards."

¹² Then stand, pray, by your magic charms, and by your many enchantments, with which you were acquainted from your youth until today. Perhaps you can benefit! Perhaps you will be staunch!" ¹³ You are tired with your many counsels. Standing, pray, are they, and saving you are the astrologers, the seers of visions in the stars, the informers for new moons, from the things which are coming on you?

²⁰ in every matter of wisdom and of understanding which the king seeks of them, he is finding them tenfold above all the sacred scribes and magi which are in all his kingdom. Hence they are honored by the king; he constitutes them chiefs, and he finds them wiser in word than all those in his land and in his kingdom."

¹⁰ Answering are the Chaldeans before the king and saying, "Actually no mortal on earth can disclose the king's matter, forasmuch as any other king, grandee, or authority does not ask a matter such as this of any sacred scribe, or magus or Chaldean."

⁶ Then from me a decree was promulgated to bring in before me all the wise men of Babylon, that the interpretation of the dream they shall make known to me."

⁷ Calling is the king with potency to bring in the magi, the sacred scribes, the Chaldeans, and the hieromancers. Responding is the king and saying to the wise men of Babylon that, "Any mortal who will read this writing and disclose its interpretation to me shall be clothed in purple, with a circlet of gold about his neck, and as the third one in the kingdom shall he have authority."

⁸ And saying are they to him, "A dream we dream, and there is no interpreting of it.And saying is Joseph to them, "Do not interpretations belong to the Elohim? Relate them, pray, to me.

¹⁵ And saying is Pharaoh to Joseph, "A dream I dream, and there is no one to interpret it. And I hear say of you, that you, hearing a dream, interpret it.

¹ In the second year of Nebuchadnezzar's kingdom, Nebuchadnezzar dreams dreams; agitated is his spirit and his sleep is fleeing from him."

⁴⁷ And calling it is Laban Igr-shedutha. And Jacob calls it Galeed.

²⁴ And Samuel said unto all the people, `Have you seen him on whom Yahweh has fixed, for there is none like him among all the people?' And all the people shout, and say, `Let the king live!.

²⁵ for he has gone down to-day, and does sacrifice ox, and fatling, and sheep, in abundance, and calls for all the sons of the king, and for the heads of the host, and for Abiathar the priest, and lo, they are eating and drinking before him, and they say, Let king Adonijah live!"

³¹ And Bath-Sheba bows--face to the earth--and does obeisance to the king, and said, `Let my lord, king David, live to the eon..

⁷ Then in the days of Artaxerxes, Bishlam, Mithredath, Tabeel and the remainder of his colleagues wrote to Artaxerxes king of Persia; the writing of the dispatch was written in Aramaic and interpreted.

³ and say to the king, `Let the king to the eon live! wherefore should not my face be sad, when the city, the place of the graves of my fathers, [is] a waste, and its gates have been consumed with fire?.

¹¹ And saying are Eliakim, and Shebna and Joah to the grand cupbearer, "Speak, pray, with your servants, with us in Syrian, for we have hearers, and you must not speak these words to us in Jewish. And why are you speaking in the ears of the people, these mortals who are sitting on the wall?

²⁵ Annulling the signs of the inventors of deception, and making the diviners bluster, causing the wise to return backward, and making their knowledge silly,

⁹ They respond and are saying to king Nebuchadnezzar, "O lord the king, live for the eons!"

⁷ Then went in the sacred scribes, the magi, the Chaldeans and the hieromancers, and I am stating the dream before them, yet its interpretation they did not make known to me."

¹⁹ Then Daniel, whose name is Belteshazzar, is desolated one hour, and his ruminations are flustering him. Responding is the king and saying, "Belteshazzar, the dream and its interpretation must not fluster you.Answering is Belteshazzar and saying, "My lord, the dream be for those hating you, and its interpretation for your foes!"

⁸ Then going in are all the king's wise men, yet they can not read the writing nor make known its interpretation to the king."

¹⁰ Then the queen, in view of the declarations of the king and his grandees, goes into the house of feasting. The queen responds and says, "O king, live for the eons! Your ruminations must not fluster you, and your mien must not be altering."

⁶ Then these chancellors and satraps foregather with the king, and thus they say to him, "King Darius, live for the eons!"

²¹ Then Daniel declares to the king, "O king, live for the eons!"

⁹ Now the throngs preceding and following Him cried, saying, "Hosanna to the Son of David! 'Blessed be He Who is coming in the name of the Lord!' Hosanna among the highest!"

⁹ And those preceding and those following cried, saying, "Hosanna! Blessed be He Who is coming in the name of the Lord!" ¹⁰ And blessed be the coming kingdom of our father David in the name of the Lord! Hosanna among the highest!"

¹⁶ All its loot shall you get together to the middle of its square, and you will burn the city with fire and all its loot as a holocaust to Yahweh your Elohim. It will become an eonian barrow; it shall not be built again.

²⁶ And Joshua adjures [them] at that time, saying, `Cursed [is] the man before Yahweh who raises up and has built this city, [even] Jericho; in his first-born he does lay its foundation, and in his youngest he does set up its doors;.

³³ And Samuel said, `As your sword bereaved women--so is your mother bereaved above women;' and Samuel hews Agag in pieces before Yahweh in Gilgal.

²⁷ and break down the standing-pillar of Baal, and break down the house of Baal, and appoint it for a draught-house unto this day.

¹¹ So a decree is being promulgated from me that, as for any man who violates this rescript, a beam shall be torn out of his house; and lifted up, he shall be impaled on it. And his house shall be turned into ruins on account of this.

²² Now understand this, you who are forgetting Eloah, Lest I should tear you to pieces, and there be no rescuer."

⁷ May they melt like waters going away to their place; May He position His arrows that they be snipped off;

¹² Wherefore the king is angry and has great wrath, and says to destroy all the wise men of Babylon."

²⁹ Now from me shall be promulgated a decree that, in every people, league, and language-group, whoever is saying aught carelessly against their Eloah--that of Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego--shall be dismembered and his house shall be the equivalent of a confiscation, forasmuch as there is actually not another Eloah Who can rescue as this One."

⁷ The elders of Moab and the elders of Midian went with the pay for divinations in their hands. They came to Balaam and spoke to him the words of Balak.

¹⁷ for I shall glorify, yea glorify you exceedingly, and all that you may say to me I shall do. So come now I pray, revile this people for me.

³⁷ Then Balak said to Balaam:Did I not send, yea send to you to call for you? Why did you not come to me? Am I truly not able to glorify you?

¹¹ And now get yourself away to your place! I said I would glorify, yea glorify you. Yet behold, Yahweh has withheld you from glory.

⁴⁸ Then the king made much of Daniel:he grants to him immense, huge gifts; and gives him authority over all the province of Babylon; and makes him grandee of the prefects who are over all the wise men of Babylon."

¹⁶ Yet I hear concerning you that you can interpret interpretations and untie knots. Now, if you can read the writing and make known to me its interpretation, in purple shall you be clothed, with a circlet of gold about your neck, and as the third one in the kingdom shall you have authority." ¹⁷ Then answering is Daniel and saying before the king, "Your gifts be to yourself, and your rewards grant to another! But the writing will I read to the king, and its interpretation will I make known to him."

²⁹ Then, at Belshazzar's order, they clothe Daniel in purple, with a circlet of gold about his neck, and they proclaim concerning him that he is the third authority in the kingdom."

⁴ If the spirit of a ruler ascends against you, do not leave your place, For a healing time gives rest to great sins."

⁴ Speaking are the Chaldeans to the king in Syriac, "O king, live for the eon! State the dream to your servants, and we will disclose the interpretation."

⁹ For, should you not be making the dream known to me, there is but one edict for you, as you will concoct a lying and corrupt matter to say before me, till the times are altering. Only the dream state to me, and I shall know that its interpretation you will disclose to me."

¹⁶ reclaiming the era, for the days are wicked."

⁵ In wisdom be walking toward those outside, reclaiming the era,

⁶ and the king of Israel gathers the prophets, about four hundred men, and said unto them, `Do I go against Ramoth-Gilead to battle, or do I forbear?' and they say, `Go up, and the Lord does give [it] into the hand of the king..

²² and he said, I go out, and have been a spirit of falsehood in the mouth of all his prophets; and He said, You do entice, and also you are able; go out and do so.

¹¹ All the king's courtiers and the people of the king's provinces know that for any man or woman coming in to the king into the inner court who was not called, his only edict is to be put to death, aside from the one to whom the king might hold out the golden scepter, he will stay alive. As for me, I have not been called to come in to the king for these past thirty days.

¹⁹ The lip of truth is established into the future, Yet the false tongue lasts only for a moment."

²³ Tell what will arrive hereafter, and we will know that you are elohim. Indeed, you will do good and do evil. Then will we heed and see it together!"

⁶ They have seen vanity, and lying divination, Who are saying:An affirmation of Yahweh, And Yahweh has not sent them, And they have hoped to establish a word."

¹⁷ And you, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, who are prophesying out of their own heart, and prophesy concerning them,

¹⁹ Yea, you pierce Me concerning My people, For handfuls of barley, And for pieces of bread, to put to death Souls that should not die, And to keep alive souls that should not live, By your lying to My people--hearkening to lies."

²¹ He is altering the eras and the stated times, causing kings to pass away and causing kings to rise, granting wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those knowing understanding."

¹⁵ Actually, should you now be ready, then, as soon as you are hearing the sound of the horn, the pipe, the lyre, the sambuke, the psalteries--all sorts of music in concert--you shall fall down and worship the golden image that I made. And should you not be ready, you know that if you are not worshiping, in the same hour shall you be heaved into the midst of the glowing, flaming furnace. And who is the eloah that will deliver you from my hands?

²⁸ PHURS, bisected is your kingdom and it will be granted to the Medes and Persians."

³¹ And Darius the Mede received the kingdom, being about sixty-two years old."

²⁵ declarations to set aside the Supreme will he declare; to the saints of the supremacies will he bring decay; he is meaning to alter stated times and an edict; and they shall be granted into his hand unto a season and two seasons and the distribution of a season.

¹⁷ For we are not as the majority, who are peddling the word of God, but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God in Christ, are we speaking."

²⁷ Answering is Daniel before the king and saying, "The secret which the king is asking, not the wise men, the magi, the sacred scribes, nor the hieromancers can disclose to the king."

³⁹ And saying is Pharaoh to Joseph, "After the Elohim has made known to you all this, there is no one as understanding and wise as you.

¹⁹ The sacred scribes said to Pharaoh: This is the finger of Elohim! Yet the heart of Pharaoh was steadfast, and he did not hearken to them just as Yahweh had spoken.

⁴⁵ I will tabernacle in the midst of the sons of Israel and will become their Elohim.

³⁴ You shall not defile the land in which you are dwelling, in whose midst I am tabernacling, for I, Yahweh, am tabernacling in the midst of the sons of Israel.

²⁷ But, is it true? --Elohim dwells on the earth! lo, the heavens, and the heavens of the heavens do not contain You, how much less this house which I have builded!"

¹⁸ (for is it true? --Elohim dwells with man on the earth! Lo, the heavens, and the heavens of the heavens, do not contain You, how much less this house that I have built?.

¹⁸ You ascend on high, You capture captivity, You apportion gifts among mankind, And also for the stubborn, to tabernacle with Yah Elohim."

⁵ Who is like Yahweh our Elohim, The One elevated in His dwelling, ⁶ The One condescending in His vigilance Over the heavens and the earth.

¹⁴ This is My resting place unto the future; Here shall I dwell, for I yearn for it."

¹⁸ Behold! I and the boys whom Yahweh Elohim gives to me, are for signs and for miracles in the house of Israel, from Yahweh of hosts, the Tabernacler in mount Zion."

¹⁵ For thus says Yahweh, high and lifted up, who tabernacles the future, and holy is His name:"In the high and holy place am I tabernacling, and with the crushed and lowly spirit, to preserve alive the spirit of the lowly, and to preserve alive the heart of the crushed."

¹ Thus says Yahweh, "The heavens are My throne, and the earth is My footstool. Where is this house which you are building for Me? And where is this place of My rest? ² Yet all these were made by My hand, and all these are coming to be Mine,averring is Yahweh. "Yet to this one will I look:to the humble and smitten spirit, and he who trembles at My word."

²⁷ Answering is Daniel before the king and saying, "The secret which the king is asking, not the wise men, the magi, the sacred scribes, nor the hieromancers can disclose to the king." ²⁸ Actually, the Eloah in the heavens reveals secrets, and He makes known to king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. O king, live for the eon! Your dream, even the visions of your head on your bed; it is this:"

¹¹ Actually, a master is in your kingdom in whom is the spirit of the holy Elohim, and in the days of your grandfather a stream of light and intelligence and wisdom, as the wisdom of the Elohim, was found in him. King Nebuchadnezzar your grandfather set him up to be grandee of the sacred scribes, the magi, the Chaldeans and the hieromancers of your grandfather the king,

²¹ And I will avenge their blood, and will not hold the others innocent, when Yahweh shall tabernacle in Zion."

²⁶ Now, looking at them, Jesus said to them, "With men this is impossible, yet with God all is possible."

¹ In the beginning was the word, and the word was toward God, and God was the word. " ² This was in the beginning toward God. ³ All came into being through it, and apart from it not even one thing came into being which has come into being."

¹⁴ And the Word became flesh and tabernacles among us, and we gaze at His glory, a glory as of an only-begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth."

¹⁷ 17 the spirit of truth, which the world can not get, for it is not beholding it, neither is knowing it. Yet you know it, for it is remaining with you and will be in you."

²³ Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone should be loving Me, he will be keeping My word, and My Father will be loving him, and We shall be coming to him and making an abode with him."

¹⁶ Now what concurrence has a temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God, according as God said, that I will be making My home and will be walking in them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."

³ And I hear a loud voice out of the throne saying, "Lo! the tabernacle of God is with mankind, and He will be tabernacling with them, and they will be His peoples, and God Himself will be with them."

² Indeed vexation shall kill the foolish man, And jealousy shall put the simple one to death.

¹⁰ For the fury of humanity, it is acclaiming You; The remainder of the fury shall celebrate to You."

¹⁴ The fury of a king is like many messengers of death, Yet a wise man shall appease it."

¹² The ire of a king is like the growling of a sheltered lion, Yet his benevolence is like night mist on herbage."

² Dread inspired by a king is a growling like that of a sheltered lion; He who enrages him sins against his own soul.

³ Heavy is stone, and weighty is sand, Yet vexation from a fool is heavier than them both." ⁴ Fury is cruel, and anger overwhelming, Yet who can stand before jealousy?

²² An angry man stirs up a quarrel, And a furious person works much transgression."

⁵ Answering is the king and saying to the Chaldeans, "The matter is departing from me. Should you not be making known to me the dream and its interpretation, you shall be dismembered, and the confiscation of your houses shall be promulgated."

¹³ Then Nebuchadnezzar, disturbed and furious, says to bring hither Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. Then these Jewish masters are brought hither before the king."

¹⁹ Then Nebuchadnezzar is full of fury, and the mien of his visage alters against Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego. He is answering and saying to heat the furnace seven units over what he perceives it to be already heated."

¹⁶ Then Herod, perceiving that he was scoffed at by the magi, was very furious, and, dispatching, he massacred all the boys in Bethlehem and in all its boundaries, from two years and below, according to the time which he ascertains exactly from the magi.

²² Yet I am saying to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be liable to the judging. Yet whoever may be saying to his brother, 'Raka!' shall be liable to the Sanhedrin. Yet whoever may be saying, 'Stupid!' shall be liable to the Gehenna of fire.

¹² Then the king's scribes were called in the first month, on the thirteenth day of it. According to all the instructions that Haman had given, it was written to the king's satraps, to the viceroys who were over the different provinces, and to the chief officials of the different peoples, to each province in its own provincial writing, and to each people in its own popular tongue. It was written in the name of king Xerxes and was sealed with the king's ring. ¹³ Letters were sent by means of couriers to all the king's provinces, to exterminate, to kill and to destroy all the Jews from youth unto old age, both little ones and women, on a single day, the thirteenth of the twelfth month (that is, the month of Adar), and to plunder the loot of them. ¹⁴ A transcript of the written text was to be promulgated as an edict in all the different provinces and was to be revealed to all the peoples, namely, to become equipped for this day. ¹⁵ The couriers rode forth posthaste by order of the king, and the edict was promulgated in the castle of Susa. Then the king and Haman sat down to drink, but Susa city was doleful.

²⁰ Could a throne of woes be made partner with You, One forming misery by its statute?

¹⁵ A growling lion and a prowling bear--Such is a wicked ruler over a poor people. ¹⁶ A governor attempting many extortions lacks comprehension, But one who hates greed shall prolong his days." ¹⁷ A man threatened by shedding the blood of a soul shall flee until descending to the crypt. Let them not uphold him.

¹ Woe to the statute makers of lawless statutes! And writings iniquitous they write,

¹⁹ Speaking is the king with them, and of them all, none is found like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah. Henceforth they are standing before the king;" ²⁰ in every matter of wisdom and of understanding which the king seeks of them, he is finding them tenfold above all the sacred scribes and magi which are in all his kingdom. Hence they are honored by the king; he constitutes them chiefs, and he finds them wiser in word than all those in his land and in his kingdom."

⁹ Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the interdict. ¹⁰ When Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house. Now the windows were opened for him in his upper chamber toward Jerusalem. Thus at stated times, thrice in the day, is he kneeling on his knees and praying and acclaiming before his Eloah just as formerly--this he is doing." ¹¹ Then these masters foregather and find Daniel petitioning and supplicating before his Eloah. ¹² Then they draw near and are speaking before the king concerning the king's interdict, "Did you not sign an interdict that every mortal who is petitioning from anyone--whether eloah or mortal--for thirty days, except only from you, O king, shall be heaved into the vault of the lions?Answering is the king and saying, "Certain is the matter as an edict of the Medes and Persians which shall not pass away." ¹³ Then they respond and are saying before the king, "Daniel, who is of the sons of the deportation of Judah, does not promulgate for you, O king, the decree, the interdict that you signed:At stated times, thrice in the day, he is petitioning his petitions before his Eloah." ¹⁴ Then the king, when he hears the matter, is enormously in bad odor to himself. As to Daniel he sets his heart to deliver him; thus till sunset he is exerting himself to rescue him." ¹⁵ Then these masters foregather with the king and are saying to the king, "Know, O king, that the edict for the Medes and Persians is that every interdict or statute that the king shall set up is not to be altered."

³⁶ And the Midianites sell Joseph to Egypt, to Potiphar, a eunuch of Pharaoh, chief of the executioners.

¹⁶ And a wise woman calls out of the city, `Hear, hear; say, I pray you, unto Joab, Come near hither, and I speak unto you.. <sup>17</sup> And he comes near unto her, and the woman said, `Are you Joab?' and he said, `I [am].' And she said to him, `Hear the words of your handmaid;' and he said, `I am hearing.. <sup>18</sup> and she speaks, saying, `They spoke often in former times, saying, Let them diligently ask at Abel, and so they finished. ¹⁹ I [am] of the peaceable--faithful ones of Israel; you are seeking to destroy a city, and a mother in Israel; why do you swallow up the inheritance of Yahweh? ²⁰ And Joab answers and said, `Far be it--far be it from me; I do not swallow up nor destroy. <sup>21</sup> The matter [is] not so; for a man of the hill-country of Ephraim--Sheba son of Bichri his name--has lifted up his hand against the king, against David; give you up him by himself, and I go away from the city.' And the woman said unto Joab, `Lo, his head is cast unto you over the wall.. ²² And the woman comes unto all the people in her wisdom, and they cut off the head of Sheba son of Bichri, and cast [it] unto Joab, and he blows with a trumpet, and they are scattered from the city, each to his tents, and Joab has turned back to Jerusalem unto the king.

¹³ I also saw this wisdom under the sun, And it seemed great to me:" ¹⁴ There was a small city with only a few mortals in it, And a great king came against it and surrounded it, And he built great siege works against it." ¹⁵ Now a man was available in it, provident and wise, And he would have provided escape for the city by his wisdom, Yet not one person remembered that provident man." ¹⁶ So I said, Better is wisdom than mastery, Yet the wisdom of a provident man is despised, And his words are no longer hearkened to." ¹⁷ The words of wise men, hearkened to in rest, Are better than the outcry of a ruler among the stupid." ¹⁸ Wisdom is better than implements of attack, Yet one sinner destroys much good."

⁹ And the remnant of the people who are left in the city, and those falling who have fallen to him, and the remnant of the people who are left, has Nebuzar-Adan, chief of the executioners, removed [to] Babylon."

¹² And in the fifth month, in the tenth of the month--it [is] the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon--come has Nebuzar-Adan, chief of the executioners; he has stood before the king of Babylon in Jerusalem,

¹⁴ and all the walls of Jerusalem round about broken down have all the forces of the Chaldeans that [are] with the chief of the executioners.

²⁴ Wherefore Daniel goes in unto Arioch, whom the king assigned to destroy all the wise men of Babylon. He departs and says to him, "The wise men of Babylon you must not destroy. Bring me in before the king, and the interpretation am I disclosing to the king."

¹⁸ And at the end of the days the king says to bring them in. Then the chief of the eunuchs is bringing them before Nebuchadnezzar. ¹⁹ Speaking is the king with them, and of them all, none is found like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah. Henceforth they are standing before the king;"

⁹ For, should you not be making the dream known to me, there is but one edict for you, as you will concoct a lying and corrupt matter to say before me, till the times are altering. Only the dream state to me, and I shall know that its interpretation you will disclose to me." ¹⁰ Answering are the Chaldeans before the king and saying, "Actually no mortal on earth can disclose the king's matter, forasmuch as any other king, grandee, or authority does not ask a matter such as this of any sacred scribe, or magus or Chaldean." ¹¹ The matter that the king is asking is heavy and extraordinary. Actually no other will disclose it before the king, only the elohim whose abode actually is not with any flesh."

⁶ Now there are among them (of the sons of Judah) Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah." ⁷ When the chief of the eunuchs is giving names to them, he is naming Daniel Belteshazzar, Hananiah Shadrach, Mishael Meshach, and Azariah Abed-nego."

¹¹ Saying is Daniel to the steward whom the chief of the eunuchs assigned over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah,

¹² Actually, the Jewish masters whom you assigned over the administration of the province of Babylon--Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego--these masters did not act on your decree, O king:Your eloah they are not serving, the golden image that you set up they are not worshipping."

²⁸ Perhaps lacking are the fifty righteous, five. Ruin wilt You, for five the entire city?And saying is He, "Not ruin it will I if I shall find there forty five.

³⁷ And David said, `Yahweh, who delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, He does deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.' And Saul said unto David, `Go, and Yahweh is with you..

¹⁵ Esther said to reply to Mordecai: ¹⁶ Go, collect together all the Jews who are to be found in Susa, and fast on my behalf. Do not eat and do not drink for three days, night and day. I too with my maidens shall fast likewise. In this way I shall come in to the king, even though it is not according to the edict. And if I should perish, I shall perish. ¹⁷ Then Mordecai passed along and did all just as Esther had enjoined on him.

¹⁵ And call upon Me in the day of distress; I shall liberate you, and you shall glorify Me."

¹⁵ He shall call on Me, and I shall answer him; I am with him in distress; I shall liberate him and glorify him."

⁵ Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, And do not lean to your own understanding." ⁶ In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He Himself shall straighten your paths."

⁴ Perhaps Yahweh, your Elohim, will hear the words of the grand cupbearer, whom the king of Assyria, his lord, sends to reproach the living Elohim, and He will correct him, in view of the words which Yahweh, your Elohim, hears, and you will lift up a prayer to Yahweh, your Elohim, about the remnant that is being found in this city.'"

³ Call unto Me, and I do answer you, yea, I declare to you great and fenced things--you have not known them."

¹⁷ Should it actually happen, our Eloah in the heavens, Whom we are serving, can deliver us from the glowing, flaming furnace; and from your hand, O king, will He deliver us." ¹⁸ And you shall return and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between a servant of Elohim and him who does not serve Him."

¹² What are you supposing? If it should be occurring to any man, with a hundred sheep, that even one of them should be led astray, will he not leave the ninety-nine sheep on the mountains, and go and seek the one which is straying?

¹⁹ Again, verily, I am saying to you that, if ever two of you should be agreeing on the earth concerning any matter, whatsoever it is they should be requesting shall be coming to them from My Father Who is in the heavens."

²⁴ Now those who hear, with one accord lift up their voice to God and say, O Owner, Thou Who makest heaven and earth and the sea and all that is in them, ²⁵ Who through holy spirit, by the mouth of our father, Thy boy David, art saying, 'Why are the nations perturbed? And why do the peoples mumble empty phrases? ²⁶ Standing by are the kings of the land, And the chancellors gathered in the same place, Against the Lord and against His Christ.'" ²⁷ For of a truth, in this city were gathered against Thy holy Boy Jesus, Whom Thou dost anoint, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, together with the nations and the peoples of Israel, ²⁸ to do whatever Thy hand and Thy counsel designates beforehand to occur. ²⁹ And now, Lord, take notice of their threatenings, and be Thou endowing Thy slaves with all boldness to be speaking Thy word, ³⁰ by the stretching out of Thy hand for healing and signs and miracles to occur through the name of Thy holy Boy Jesus." ³¹ And at their beseeching, shaken was the place in which they were gathered, and they are all filled with the holy spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness."

⁴ whom, arresting also, he placed in jail, giving him over to four quaternions of soldiers to guard him, intending after the Passover to lead him up to the people."

³⁰ Now I am entreating you, brethren, through our Lord Jesus Christ, and through the love of the spirit, to struggle together with me in prayers to God for me,

¹⁷ May it not be reckoned against them! Yet the Lord stood beside me, and He invigorates me, that through me the heralding may be fully discharged, and all the nations should hear; and I am rescued out of the mouth of the lion." ¹⁸ The Lord will be rescuing me from every wicked work and will be saving me for His celestial kingdom: to Whom be glory for the eons of the eons. Amen!

⁹ the Lord is acquainted with the rescue of the devout out of trial, yet is keeping the unjust for chastening in the day of judging,

⁶ He said:Oh hear My words. If there were a prophet among you, I, Yahweh, in an appearance shall make Myself known to him; in a dream shall I speak to him.

⁸ And the king of Aram has been fighting against Israel, and takes counsel with his servants, saying, `At such and such a place [is] my encamping.. <sup>9</sup> And the man of Elohim sends unto the king of Israel, saying, `Take heed of passing by this place, for thither are the Arameans coming down;" ¹⁰ and the king of Israel sends unto the place of which the man of Elohim spoke to him, and warned him, and he is preserved there not once nor twice. ¹¹ And the heart of the king of Aram is tossed about concerning this thing, and he calls unto his servants, and said unto them, `Do you not declare to me who of us [is] for the king of Israel?. <sup>12</sup> And one of his servants said, `Nay, my lord, O king, for Elisha the prophet, who [is] in Israel, declares to the king of Israel the words that you speak in the inner part of your bed-chamber..

¹³ In disquieting thoughts from visions of the night, In that stupor which falls on mortals,

¹⁵ In a dream, a vision of the night, When stupor falls upon men, In slumberings on their bed;" ¹⁶ Then He reveals matters to the ear of men, And He dismays them with admonitions,

¹⁴ The intimacy of Yahweh is for those fearing Him, And His covenant, to give them knowledge."

¹⁷ To these boys, the four of them, Elohim gives knowledge and intelligence in every script, as well as wisdom; in addition Daniel is given understanding in every vision and in dreams."

²² He is revealing the deep and the concealed things; knowing what is in the darkness since with Him a stream of light solves them.

²⁷ Answering is Daniel before the king and saying, "The secret which the king is asking, not the wise men, the magi, the sacred scribes, nor the hieromancers can disclose to the king." ²⁸ Actually, the Eloah in the heavens reveals secrets, and He makes known to king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. O king, live for the eon! Your dream, even the visions of your head on your bed; it is this:" ²⁹ You, O king--your ruminations on your bed come up regarding all that shall be after this. The Revealer of secrets makes known to you what that shall be."

⁹ Belteshazzar, grandee of the sacred scribes, seeing that I know that the spirit of the holy Elohim is in you, and no secret at all bothers you, hear the visions of my dream that I perceived, and state its interpretation to me."

⁷ In place of this perceiving am I in the visions of the night, and behold, a fourth animal, terrifying and awful, and exuberantly mighty; she has monstrous iron teeth, devouring and pulverizing and stamping upon the remainder with her feet. She is diverse from all the animals that are east of her, and she has ten horns."

⁷ For my Lord Yahweh is not doing a thing save He reveals His deliberation to His servants, the prophets."

¹² And, being apprised in a trance not to go back to Herod, through another way they retire into their country. ¹³ Now, at their retiring into their country, lo! a messenger of the Lord is appearing in a trance to Joseph, saying, "Being roused, take along the little Boy and His mother and flee into Egypt, and be there till I should speak to you, for Herod is about to be seeking the little Boy to destroy Him"

⁹ But, according as it is written, That which the eye did not perceive, and the ear did not hear, and to which the heart of man did not ascend - whatever God makes ready for those who are loving Him." ¹⁰ Yet to us God reveals them through His spirit, for the spirit is searching all, even the depths of God."

²⁰ And blessed is the El Supreme, Who awards your foes into your hands.And giving is he to him tithes from all.

⁵⁶ `Blessed [is] Yahweh who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He has spoken; there has not fallen one word of all His good word, which He spoke by the hand of Moses his servant.

¹⁰ And David blesses Yahweh before the eyes of all the assembly, and David said, `Blessed [are] You, Yahweh, Elohim of Israel our father, from eon even unto eon. ¹¹ To You, O Yahweh, [is] the greatness, and the might, and the beauty, and the victory, and the honor, because of all in the heavens and in the earth; to You, O Yahweh, [is] the kingdom, and he who is lifting up himself over all for head;" ¹² and the riches, and the honor [are] from before You, and You are ruling over all, and in Your hand [is] power and might, and in Your hand, to make great, and to give strength to all.

²⁰ And David said to all the assembly, `Bless, I pray you, Yahweh your Elohim;' and all the assembly bless Yahweh, Elohim of their fathers, and bow and do obeisance to Yahweh, and to the king.

²¹ And he takes counsel with the people, and appoints singers to Yahweh, and those giving praise to the honor of holiness, in the going out before the armed [men], and saying, `Give you thanks to Yahweh, for to the eon [is] His kindness..

¹³ With Him is wisdom and mastery; His are counsel and understanding.

¹⁶ With Him are strength and prosperity; Both the erring one and the one causing error are His. ¹⁷ Causing counselors to go forth looted, He also makes judges rave as fools. ¹⁸ He unlooses the disciplining authority of kings, And He binds a belt about their waists. ¹⁹ Causing priests to go forth looted, He also overthrows the well-established. ²⁰ Putting away the eloquence of the sure, He also takes away the discretion of elders. ²¹ Pouring out contempt on patrons, He also makes the cordon of the mighty repressors to slacken. ²² Exposing the deep things out of darkness, He also brings forth the blackest shadow to light.

¹³ Blessed be Yahweh Elohim of Israel From the eon and unto the eon. {Amen and Amen{ {Permanent{

²³ The one sacrificing acclamation is glorifying Me, Thus he orders his way so that I may show him the salvation of Elohim. {Permanent{ "

¹¹ Once Elohim has spoken; Two times have I heard this:That strength belongs to Elohim,

¹⁸ Blessed be Yahweh, Elohim, the Elohim of Israel, Doing marvelous works by Himself alone, ¹⁹ And blessed be His glorious Name for the eon! The entire earth shall be filled with His glory! {Amen and Amen.{

¹ {Davidic{ Bless Yahweh, O my soul, And all within me, bless His holy Name!" ² Bless Yahweh, O my soul, And do not forget any of His well-dealings,

² Let the Name of Yahweh be blessed, Henceforth and for the eon."

¹⁸ But we, we the living, shall bless Yah, Henceforth and unto the eon. Praise Yah!"

¹ {A Davidic Praise{ I shall exalt You, my Elohim the King; Let me bless Your Name for the eon and further." ² In every day I shall bless You; Let me praise Your Name for the eon and further.

⁵ Great is our Lord and vast in vigor; As to His understanding, there is no enumeration of it."

¹⁴ Counsel and sagacity are mine; I have understanding; mastery is mine.

¹⁹ Great in counsel, and mighty in act, in that Your eyes are open on all the ways of the sons of Adam, to give to each according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:"

²¹ He is altering the eras and the stated times, causing kings to pass away and causing kings to rise, granting wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those knowing understanding." ²² He is revealing the deep and the concealed things; knowing what is in the darkness since with Him a stream of light solves them. ²³ To Thee, Eloah of my forefathers, am I acclaiming and lauding, that wisdom and mastery Thou dost grant to me. And now Thou dost make known to me that which we petition of Thee; for the king's matter Thou hast made known to us."

¹³ And mayest Thou not be bringing us into trial, but rescue us from the wicked one.'"

²⁴ Now to Him Who is able to guard you from tripping, and to stand you flawless in sight of His glory, in exultation,

¹² saying with a loud voice, "Worthy is the Lambkin slain To get power and riches and wisdom and strength And honor and glory and blessing!"

³ I shall fill him with the spirit of Elohim, with wisdom and with understanding and with knowledge, in all work,

⁶ And I, behold, I give him Aholiab son of Ahisamach of the stock of Dan. In the heart of all the wise of heart I have given wisdom, that they will make all that I have instructed you.

⁷ Yahweh dispossesses, and He makes rich, He makes low, yea, He makes high. ⁸ He raises from the dust the poor, From a dunghill He lifts up the needy, To cause [them] to sit with nobles, Yea, a throne of honor He does cause them to inherit, For to Yahweh [are] the fixtures of earth, And He sets on them the habitable world.

⁸ and Your servant [is] in the midst of your people, whom You have chosen, a people numerous, that is not numbered nor counted for multitude, ⁹ and You have given to Your servant an understanding heart, to judge Your people, to discern between good and evil; for who is able to judge this Your great people?. ¹⁰ And the thing is good in the eyes of the Lord, that Solomon has asked this thing, ¹¹ and Elohim said unto him, `Because that you have asked this thing, and have not asked for you many days, nor asked for you riches, nor asked the life of your enemies, and have asked for you discernment to understand judgment, ¹² lo, I have done according to your words; lo, I have given to you a heart, wise and understanding, that like you there has not been before you, and after you there does not arise like you;"

²⁸ And all Israel hear of the judgment that the king has judged, and fear because of the king, for they have seen that the wisdom of Elohim [is] in his heart, to do judgment.

²⁹ And Elohim gives wisdom to Solomon, and understanding, very much, and breadth of heart, as the sand that [is] on the edge of the sea;"

²⁴ and all the earth is seeking the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom that Elohim has put into his heart,

¹² Only, Yahweh give to you wisdom and understanding, and charge you concerning Israel, even to keep the law of Yahweh your Elohim;"

³⁰ with all his reign, and his might, and the times that went over him, and over Israel, and over all kingdoms of the lands.

¹⁰ now, wisdom and knowledge give to me, and I go out before this people, and I come in, for who does judge this Your great people?. ¹¹ And Elohim said to Solomon, `Because that this has been with your heart, and you have not asked riches, wealth, and honor, and the life of those hating you, and also many days have not asked, and do ask for yourself wisdom and knowledge, so that you do judge My people over which I have caused you to reign-. ¹² the wisdom and the knowledge is given to you, and riches and wealth and honor I give to you, that there has not been so to the kings who [are] before you, and after you it is not so.. ¹³ So the king asked the wise men who had knowledge of precedents, for this was the royal practice before all those having knowledge of edicts and adjudication.

¹⁸ He unlooses the disciplining authority of kings, And He binds a belt about their waists.

²⁴ He smashes those of abundance without investigation And installs others in their stead. ²⁵ Wherefore, He recognizes their occupations And overturns them in a night, and they are crushed. ²⁶ He slaps them down with the wicked, In a place where all can see, ²⁷ Because they withdrew from following Him And did not contemplate any of His ways, ²⁸ But they caused the cry of the poor to be brought before Him, So that He heard the cry of the humble. ²⁹ When He is quiet, who can condemn? When He conceals His face, who can regard Him? Yet He is over a nation and over humanity alike.

¹⁴ Yet I, I trusted in You, O Yahweh; I said, My Elohim are You;" ¹⁵ In Your hand are my seasons; Rescue me from the hand of my enemies And from those pursuing me.

⁵ You must not exalt your horn to the heights, Or speak with an impertinent neck." ⁶ For no one from the sun's coming forth or from the west, And no one from the wilderness can exalt a man;" ⁷ For it is Elohim Who is judging; This one He is abasing, and this one He is exalting."

⁷ Raising the poor from the soil, He exalts the needy from the ash heaps, ⁸ Giving a seat among the patrons, Among the patrons of his people,

⁶ For Yahweh Himself gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and comprehension; ⁷ He stores up sagacity for the upright, A shield for those walking with integrity,

¹⁵ By me kings reign, And chancellors make statutes of righteousness." ¹⁶ By me chiefs control affairs, And patrons, all who are judging on the earth."

¹ For everything there is a stated time, And a season for every event under the heavens:" ² A season to be born and a season to die; A season to plant and a season to chop down what is planted, ³ A season to kill and a season to heal; A season to breach and a season to build; ⁴ A season to weep and a season to sport; A season to wail and a season to dance; ⁵ A season to fling away stones and a season to collect stones; A season to embrace and a season to stay far from embracing; ⁶ A season to seek and a season to lose; A season to keep and a season to fling away; ⁷ A season to tear and a season to sew; A season to hush and a season to speak; ⁸ A season to love and a season to hate; A season of war and a season of peace.

⁵ Thus do you say unto your lords, I--I have made the earth with man, and the cattle that [are] on the face of the earth, by My great power, and by My stretched-out arm, and I have given it to whom it has been right in Mine eyes." ⁶ `And now, I--I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, My servant, and also the beast of the field I have given to him to serve him;" ⁷ And served him have all the nations, and his son, and his son's son, till the coming in of the time of his land, also it; and done service for him have many nations and great kings."

¹⁷ thus seven seasons shall pass on over him. In a severance of the rousers is the rescript, and in a statement of the saints is the request, unto the intent that the living shall know that the Supreme is in authority in the kingdom of mortals, and to whom He is willing is He giving it, and a low one of mortals is He setting over it.'"

³² From mortals are they shoving you, and with the animals of the field is your abode. Herbage will they feed to you, as oxen. Thus seven seasons shall pass on over you till you shall know that the Supreme is in authority in the kingdom of mortals and to whom He is willing He is giving it."

⁶ Now at the end of these years they will join:The daughter of the king of the southland will come to the king of the north to make equitable settlements with him. Yet she shall not retain the vigor of the seed, nor shall he stand or his seed. She will be given up--she and those bringing her, also the lady-in-waiting and he who made her steadfast in these eras."

⁵¹ He does mightily with His arm, He scatters the proud in the comprehension of their hearts, ⁵² He pulls down potentates from thrones, And exalts the humble."

¹⁵ for I will be giving you a mouth and wisdom, which all those opposing you shall not be able to withstand or contradict."

²¹ And thence they request a king, and God gives them Saul, son of Kish, a man out of the tribe of Benjamin, forty years." ²² And, deposing him, He rouses David for their king, to whom He said also, in testifying, 'I found David, of Jesse, a man according to My heart, who will be doing all My will.'"

³⁰ Yet you, of Him, are in Christ Jesus, Who became to us wisdom from God, besides righteousness and holiness and deliverance,

⁵ Now if anyone of you is lacking wisdom, let him be requesting it from God, Who is giving to all generously and is not reproaching, and it shall be given to him."

¹⁷ All good giving and every perfect gratuity is from above, descending from the Father of lights, in Whom there is no mutation or shadow from revolving motion."

¹⁵ This is not the wisdom coming down from above, but terrestrial, soulish, demoniacal. " ¹⁶ For wherever jealousy and faction are, there is turbulence also, and every bad practice." ¹⁷ Now the wisdom from above is first, indeed, pure, thereupon peaceable, lenient, compliant, bulging with mercy and good fruits, undiscriminating, unfeigned."

¹⁶ And on His cloak and on His thigh He has a name written: "King of kings and Lord of lords."

⁵ And dreaming is Joseph a dream. And telling it is he to his brothers. And continuing further are they in their hatred of him. ⁶ And saying is he to them, "Hear, pray, this dream which I dreamed. ⁷ And, behold! We are compressing shocks in the midst of the field. And behold! Rising is my shock, and, moreover, takes its station. And, behold! Surrounding it are your shocks, and prostrating to my shock!" ⁸ And saying to him are his brothers, "Verily reign over us shall you? And should you verily rule among us?And continuing further are they to hate him on account of his dreams, and on account of his words. ⁹ And dreaming is he still another dream. And relating is he it to his father and to his brothers, and is saying, "Behold! I dream a further dream. And behold! The sun and the moon and the eleven stars are prostrating to me.

¹⁶ And answering Pharaoh is Joseph saying, "Apart from the Elohim there is no answer for the welfare of Pharaoh.

²⁵ And saying is Joseph to Pharaoh, "The dream of Pharaoh, one is it. What the Elohim will be doing He tells to Pharaoh. ²⁶ The seven good young cows, seven years are they; and the seven good spikes, seven years are they. The dream of Pharaoh, one is it. ²⁷ And the seven emaciated and evil young cows coming up after them, seven years are they. And the seven empty spikes, blasted by the burning east wind, are coming to be seven years of famine. ²⁸ It is the word which I speak to Pharaoh: What the Elohim will do He shows to Pharaoh.

²² Exposing the deep things out of darkness, He also brings forth the blackest shadow to light.

⁶ The unseen was naked in front of Him, And there was no covering for Abaddon.

⁹ For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light shall we see light.

² You are muffled with light as a garment. Stretching out the heavens like a sheet,

¹¹ If I said, Surely darkness, it snuffed me up, And night is belted about me, ¹² Even darkness, it is not darkening to You, And the night, as the day, is giving light; Darkness is as light."

²² Let them bring them close, and tell us what will happen. The former things, what they were, let them tell. And We will set our heart on them and know their hereafter. Or the coming things announce to Us."

²⁶ Who tells from the beginning, so We will know? And from beforetime, so We will say `Right'? Indeed, there is no telling; indeed, no announcing. Indeed, no one is hearing your sayings,

⁹ The former things; behold, they came! And the new things will I tell. Ere they are sprouting, I will announce them to you."

⁷ Former of light and Creator of darkness, Maker of good and Creator of evil. I, Yahweh Elohim, made all of these things."

²⁴ Is any one hidden in secret places, And I see him not? an affirmation of Yahweh, Do not I fill the heavens and the earth? An affirmation of Yahweh."

¹¹ The matter that the king is asking is heavy and extraordinary. Actually no other will disclose it before the king, only the elohim whose abode actually is not with any flesh."

¹⁴ I hear concerning you that the spirit of the holy Elohim is in you, and a stream of light and intelligence and excellent wisdom is found in you."

¹³ Therefore in parables am I speaking to them, seeing that, observing, they are not observing, and hearing, they are not hearing, neither are they understanding."

² Now nothing is covered up which shall not be revealed, and hidden which shall not be known, ³ because whatever you say in the darkness shall be heard in the light, and what you speak in the ear in the storerooms shall be heralded on the housetops."

⁹ It was the true light - which is enlightening every man - coming into the world.

¹² Again, then, Jesus speaks to them, saying, "I am the Light of the world. He who is following Me should under no circumstances be walking in darkness, but will be having the light of life."

⁴⁵ And he who is beholding Me is beholding Him Who sends Me. ⁴⁶ I have come into the world a Light, that everyone who is believing in Me should not be remaining in darkness."

¹⁷ He is saying to him the third time, "Simon of John, are you fond of Me?Peter was sorry that He said to him the third time "Are you fond of Me?and he is saying to Him, "Lord, Thou art aware of all things! Thou knowest that I am fond of Thee.And Jesus is saying to him, "Graze My little sheep!"

²⁵ Now to Him Who is able to establish you in accord with my evangel, and the heralding of Christ Jesus in accord with the revelation of a secret hushed in times eonian, ²⁶ yet manifested now and through prophetic scriptures, according to the injunction of the eonian God being made known to all nations for faith-obedience -"

⁹ But, according as it is written, That which the eye did not perceive, and the ear did not hear, and to which the heart of man did not ascend - whatever God makes ready for those who are loving Him." ¹⁰ Yet to us God reveals them through His spirit, for the spirit is searching all, even the depths of God." ¹¹ For is any of humanity acquainted with that which is human except the spirit of humanity which is in it? Thus also, that which is of God no one knows, except the spirit of God."

⁵ So that, be not judging anything before the season, till the Lord should be coming, Who will also illuminate the hidden things of darkness and manifest the counsels of the hearts. And then applause will be coming to each one from God."

⁵ which, in other generations, is not made known to the sons of humanity as it was now revealed to His holy apostles and prophets): in spirit"

¹⁶ Who alone has immortality, making His home in light inaccessible, Whom not one of mankind perceived nor can be perceiving, to Whom be honor and might eonian! Amen!"

¹³ And there is not a creature which is not apparent in its sight. Now all is naked and bare to the eyes of Him to Whom we are accountable.

⁵ And this is the message which we have heard from Him and are informing you, that God is light, and darkness in Him there is none."

¹⁷ And Yahweh says, "Shall I cover from Abraham, My servant, what I am doing,

⁹ And saying is Jacob, "Elohim of my forefather Abraham and Elohim of my father Isaac, Yahweh Who said to me, `Return to your land and to your kindred and I will do good to you.. ¹⁰ Smaller am I than all the kindnesses and than all the truth which You do to Your servant, for with my stick I crossed this Jordan, and now I have become two camps. ¹¹ Rescue me, pray, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau, for I fear him, lest he comes and smites me, and the mother with the sons.

¹⁵ And Elohim said further to Moses: Thus shall you say to the sons of Israel, Yahweh, the Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Isaac and the Elohim of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name for the eon, and this the remembrance of Me for generation after generation.

⁵⁷ `Yahweh our Elohim is with us as He has been with our fathers; He does not forsake us nor leave us;

³⁶ And it comes to pass, at the going up of the [evening -]present, that Elijah the prophet comes nigh and said, `Yahweh, Elohim of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, to-day let it be known that You [are] Elohim in Israel, and I Your servant, that by Your word I have done the whole of these things;"

¹⁰ And David blesses Yahweh before the eyes of all the assembly, and David said, `Blessed [are] You, Yahweh, Elohim of Israel our father, from eon even unto eon.

¹³ `And now, our Elohim, we are giving thanks to You, and giving praise to Your beauteous name;"

⁶ and said, `O Yahweh, Elohim of our fathers, are not You--Elohim in the heavens? yea, You are ruling over all kingdoms of the nations, and in Your hand [is] power and might, and there is none with You to station himself.

¹⁴ Sacrifice to Elohim acclamation, And pay to the Supreme your vows."

¹ {Davidic{ Bless Yahweh, O my soul, And all within me, bless His holy Name!" ² Bless Yahweh, O my soul, And do not forget any of His well-dealings, ³ Who is pardoning all your depravity, Who is healing all your ailments, ⁴ Who is redeeming your life from ruin, Who is crowning you with benignity and compassion,

²² A wise man ascends against a city of the masterful And brings down the strength of its trust.

⁵ A wise master is one with strength, And a man of knowledge is resolute with vigor;"

¹⁹ Wisdom itself gives more strength to the wise man Than ten authorities who are in a city.

¹⁶ So I said, Better is wisdom than mastery, Yet the wisdom of a provident man is despised, And his words are no longer hearkened to."

¹⁸ Wisdom is better than implements of attack, Yet one sinner destroys much good."

¹ And you will say, in that day, "I am acclaiming You, Yahweh, for You wast angry with me, yet reversing is Your anger, and You are comforting me."

¹⁸ He is charging them to petition for compassions before the Eloah of the heavens concerning this secret; that Daniel and his partners not perish with the remaining wise men of Babylon.

²⁰ Responding is Daniel and saying, "Blessed be the name of Him Who is the Eloah, from the eon and unto the eon, for the wisdom and the mastery, they are His." ²¹ He is altering the eras and the stated times, causing kings to pass away and causing kings to rise, granting wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those knowing understanding."

²⁹ You, O king--your ruminations on your bed come up regarding all that shall be after this. The Revealer of secrets makes known to you what that shall be." ³⁰ And I--this secret is revealed to me not by wisdom actually in me more than any other of the living. It is revealed only to the intent that the interpretation to the king be made known, and that you shall know the ruminations of your heart."

²⁵ At that season, answering, Jesus said, "I am acclaiming Thee, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for Thou hidest these things from the wise and intelligent and Thou dost reveal them to minors."

²¹ In this hour He exults in the holy spirit and said, "I am acclaiming Thee, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for Thou dost conceal these things from the wise and intelligent and Thou dost reveal them to minors. Yea, Father, seeing that thus it became a delight in front of Thee."

⁴¹ They, then, take away the stone. Yet Jesus lifts up His eyes and said, "Father, I thank Thee that Thou hearest Me."

¹⁵ No longer am I terming you slaves, for the slave is not aware what his lord is doing. Yet I have declared you friends, for all that I hear from My Father I make known to you."

¹ The Unveiling of Jesus Christ, which God gives to Him, to show to His slaves what must occur swiftly; and He signifies it, dispatching through His messenger to His slave John,

⁵ And one of the elders is saying to me, "Do not lament! Lo! He conquers! The Lion out of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, is to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals!"

¹² Wherefore the king is angry and has great wrath, and says to destroy all the wise men of Babylon." ¹³ Then the edict is issued to despatch all the wise men, and they seek Daniel and all his partners to be dispatched." ¹⁴ Then Daniel replies with counsel and tact to Arioch, the grandee of the king's executioners, seeing that he issues the edict to despatch the wise men of Babylon."

²⁴ saying,'Fear not, Paul! Before Caesar you must stand. And lo! graciously has God granted you all those who are sailing with you.'"

⁶ These [are] sons of the province, those coming up of the captives of the removal that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon removed--and they turn back to Jerusalem and to Judah, each to his city-.

¹¹ Rescue those being taken to death, And you should keep back those who are slipping away to the kill."

¹⁰ All that your hand finds to do, do with your vigor, For there is no doing or devising or knowledge or wisdom In the unseen where you are going."

⁶ Now there are among them (of the sons of Judah) Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah."

¹³ Then Daniel is brought in before the king. Responding is the king and saying to Daniel, "You are he--the Daniel, who is of the sons of the deportation of Judah, that the king my grandfather brought hither from Judah?

¹³ Then they respond and are saying before the king, "Daniel, who is of the sons of the deportation of Judah, does not promulgate for you, O king, the decree, the interdict that you signed:At stated times, thrice in the day, he is petitioning his petitions before his Eloah."

²⁷ but the stupidity of the world God chooses, that He may be disgracing the wise, and the weakness of the world God chooses, that He may be disgracing the strong, ²⁸ and the ignoble and the contemptible things of the world God chooses, and that which is not, that He may be discarding that which is,

³³ And Saul said unto David, `You are not able to go unto this Philistine, to fight with him, for a youth you [are], and he a man of war from his youth..

⁷ When the chief of the eunuchs is giving names to them, he is naming Daniel Belteshazzar, Hananiah Shadrach, Mishael Meshach, and Azariah Abed-nego."

³ Saying is the king to them, "A dream I dream, and agitated is my spirit to know the dream." ⁴ Speaking are the Chaldeans to the king in Syriac, "O king, live for the eon! State the dream to your servants, and we will disclose the interpretation." ⁵ Answering is the king and saying to the Chaldeans, "The matter is departing from me. Should you not be making known to me the dream and its interpretation, you shall be dismembered, and the confiscation of your houses shall be promulgated." ⁶ Should you disclose the dream and its interpretation to me, gifts and a reward and great esteem shall you receive before me. Only disclose the dream and its interpretation." ⁷ They answer a second time and are saying, "The king will state the dream to his servants, then the interpretation will we disclose."

⁸ Further, last of all, Daniel comes in before me, whose name is Belteshazzar, after the name of my eloah. Now, seeing that the spirit of the holy Elohim is in him, I state the dream before him also:"

¹⁸ This dream, I, king Nebuchadnezzar, perceived. Now you, Belteshazzar, state the interpretation, forasmuch as all the wise men of my kingdom can not make known to me the interpretation. Yet you Daniel can, seeing that the spirit of the holy Elohim is in you." ¹⁹ Then Daniel, whose name is Belteshazzar, is desolated one hour, and his ruminations are flustering him. Responding is the king and saying, "Belteshazzar, the dream and its interpretation must not fluster you.Answering is Belteshazzar and saying, "My lord, the dream be for those hating you, and its interpretation for your foes!"

¹² forasmuch as an excellent spirit, knowledge and intelligence in the interpreting of dreams, the disclosure of problems and the untying of knots was found in him, that is in Daniel on whom the king placed his name Belteshazzar. Now Daniel shall be called, and he will disclose the interpretation."

¹⁶ Yet I hear concerning you that you can interpret interpretations and untie knots. Now, if you can read the writing and make known to me its interpretation, in purple shall you be clothed, with a circlet of gold about your neck, and as the third one in the kingdom shall you have authority."

¹² He is annulling the devisings of the crafty, So that their hands may not achieve prosperity, ¹³ Seizing the wise in their craftiness, So that their cunning counsel is carried headlong.

¹² Then stand, pray, by your magic charms, and by your many enchantments, with which you were acquainted from your youth until today. Perhaps you can benefit! Perhaps you will be staunch!" ¹³ You are tired with your many counsels. Standing, pray, are they, and saving you are the astrologers, the seers of visions in the stars, the informers for new moons, from the things which are coming on you? ¹⁴ Behold! They all become as straw. Fire shall burn them up. They shall not rescue their soul from the hand of the blaze. It is no ember to warm them, or light to sit in front of."

² Saying is the king to call the sacred scribes and the magi and the enchanters and the Chaldeans to tell the king his dreams. Then they are coming and standing before the king.

⁷ Calling is the king with potency to bring in the magi, the sacred scribes, the Chaldeans, and the hieromancers. Responding is the king and saying to the wise men of Babylon that, "Any mortal who will read this writing and disclose its interpretation to me shall be clothed in purple, with a circlet of gold about his neck, and as the third one in the kingdom shall he have authority." ⁸ Then going in are all the king's wise men, yet they can not read the writing nor make known its interpretation to the king."

¹ And calling is Jacob to his sons and saying, "Gather, and I will tell you what will meet you in the days hereafter.

¹⁴ And now, behold me going to my people. Come now! I shall counsel you what this people shall do to your people in the latter days.

³⁰ In your distress, when all these things find you in the latter days, then you will return to Yahweh your Elohim and hearken to His voice.

¹⁹ And now, write down for yourselves this song and teach it to the sons of Israel. Put it in their mouths so that this song may come to be for Me as a testimony against the sons of Israel.

³ Indeed our Elohim is in the heavens; All that He desires, He does."

² And it comes in the days hereafter, established shall be the mount of Yahweh, and the house of the Elohim, on the summit of the mountains, and borne by the hills. And stream to it all the nations."

²² Let them bring them close, and tell us what will happen. The former things, what they were, let them tell. And We will set our heart on them and know their hereafter. Or the coming things announce to Us." ²³ Tell what will arrive hereafter, and we will know that you are elohim. Indeed, you will do good and do evil. Then will we heed and see it together!"

²⁴ The fierceness of the anger of Yahweh Does not turn back till His doing, Yea, till His establishing the devices of His heart, In the latter end of the days we consider it!"

⁴⁷ And I have turned back [to] the captivity of Moab, In the latter end of the days, An affirmation of Yahweh! Hitherto [is] the judgment of Moab."

⁸ After many days you are appointed, In the latter end of the years you come in unto a land brought back from sword, [A people] gathered out of many peoples, Upon mountains of Israel, That have been for a perpetual waste, And it from the peoples has been brought out, And dwelt safely have all of them."

¹⁶ And you have come up against My people Israel, As a cloud to cover the land, In the latter end of the days it is, And I have brought you in against My land, In order that the nations may know Me, In My being sanctified in you before their eyes, O Gog."

⁴⁷ Answering is the king to Daniel and saying, "In verity, your Eloah, He is the Eloah of elohim, Lord of kings, and only Revealer of hidden secrets, seeing that you can reveal this secret."

¹⁴ Then he said to me, "I come to cause you to understand what will befall your people in the latter days; for the vision is for future days."

⁵ Afterward are the sons of Israel returning, and they seek Yahweh their Elohim, and David their king, and they come in awe to Yahweh and to His goodness, in the latter days."

¹³ For, behold the One forming the mountains, and creating the wind, and telling to humanity of His Anointed One, making the dawn and murkiness, and treading on the fane heights of the land--Yahweh, Elohim of hosts, is His name!"

¹ And it comes in the days hereafter, the mount of Yahweh's house shall be established on the summit of the mountains, and it is borne by the hills, and all the peoples stream unto it." ² And many nations go and say:Go, and we will ascend to the mount of Yahweh, and to the house of the Elohim of Jacob, and He will direct us in His ways, and we will go in His paths. For from Zion shall fare forth the law, and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem."

⁹ Thus, then, you be praying: 'Our Father Who art in the heavens, hallowed be Thy name."

¹ Now this know, that in the last days perilous periods will be present,

¹ By many portions and many modes, of old, God, speaking to the fathers in the prophets,

³ knowing this first, that in the last days scoffers will be coming with scoffing, going according to their own desires"

¹⁰ Thus said the Lord Yahweh:And it has come to pass in that day, Come up do things on your heart, And you have thought an evil thought,

²⁸ Actually, the Eloah in the heavens reveals secrets, and He makes known to king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. O king, live for the eon! Your dream, even the visions of your head on your bed; it is this:"

³ For I, Yahweh, am your Elohim, The Holy One of Israel, your Redeemer. And I give Egypt for your shelter; Ethiopia and Seba in your stead." ⁴ You are more precious than riches, in My eyes. Glorified are you, and I, I love you. And I will give humanity in your stead, and folkstems in your soul's stead."

⁴ On account of My servant Jacob, and Israel, My chosen, I am calling to you by your name. I am titling you, yet you do not know Me."

¹⁷ Then Daniel departs to his house, and to Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah, his partners, he makes all the matter known." ¹⁸ He is charging them to petition for compassions before the Eloah of the heavens concerning this secret; that Daniel and his partners not perish with the remaining wise men of Babylon.

⁴⁹ Then Daniel petitions the king, and he assigns Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego over the administration of the province of Babylon. Thus Daniel is in the gateway of the king."

²² And, except those days were discounted, no flesh at all would be saved. Yet, because of the chosen, those days shall be discounted."

²⁰ And, except the Lord discounts the days, no flesh at all would be saved. But because of the chosen, whom He chooses, He discounts the days."

¹² Now, perceiving it, Peter answers the people: "Men! Israelites! Why are you marveling at this? Or why at us are you looking so intently, as if by our own power or devoutness we had made him walk?

²⁸ Now we are aware that God is working all together for the good of those who are loving God, who are called according to the purpose"

²¹ So that, let no one be boasting in men, for all is yours, ²² whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or the present, or that which is impending - all is yours, ²³ yet you are Christ's, yet Christ is God's."

⁸ Yet, last of all, even as if a premature birth, He was seen by me also." ⁹ For I am the least of the apostles, who am not competent to be called an apostle, because I persecute the ecclesia of God." ¹⁰ Yet, in the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace, which is in me, did not come to be for naught, but more exceedingly than all of them toil I - yet not I, but the grace of God which is with me." ¹¹ Then, whether I or they, thus we are heralding and thus you believe." ¹² Now if Christ is being heralded that He has been roused from among the dead, how are some among you saying that there is no resurrection of the dead?

¹⁵ For all is because of you, that the grace, increasing through the majority, should be superabounding in thanksgiving to the glory of God."

¹¹ And I check over all the habitance for its evil, and on the wicked for their depravity. And I eradicate the pomp of the arrogant, and the pride of the terrifiers am I abasing."

³ Therefore a humble people shall glorify You. A town of terrifying nations shall fear You. ⁴ For You do become a stronghold for the poor, a stronghold for the needy one in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the drought, for the spirit of the terrifier is as a storm against a side wall." ⁵ As drought in an arid place, the tumult of the arrogant are You quelling. As drought in the shadow of a thick cloud, the psalm of the terrifier is He humbling."

⁷ Therefore, lo, I am bringing in against you strangers, The terrible of the nations, And they have drawn out their swords Against the beauty of your wisdom, And they have pierced your brightness."

³ and four monstrous animals are coming up from the sea, diverse one from another." ⁴ The eastern animal is a lioness, and she has the wings of a vulture. Perceiving am I till her wings are scraped off, and she is tilted up from the earth and is set up on her feet as a mortal, and the heart of a mortal is being granted to her." ⁵ And behold, another animal, a second, like a she-bear; one part is set up, and three ribs are in her mouth between her teeth. Thus are they saying to her, "Rise! Eat huge amounts of flesh." ⁶ In place of this perceiving am I, and behold, another animal, as a leopardess; she has four flyer's wings on her arched back, and four heads has the animal. Jurisdiction is being granted to her." ⁷ In place of this perceiving am I in the visions of the night, and behold, a fourth animal, terrifying and awful, and exuberantly mighty; she has monstrous iron teeth, devouring and pulverizing and stamping upon the remainder with her feet. She is diverse from all the animals that are east of her, and she has ten horns." ⁸ Contemplating am I the horns, and lo, another bit of a horn comes up among them, and three of the eastern horns are felled to stumps before it. And lo, eyes as the eyes of a mortal are in this horn, and a mouth declaring monstrous things, and it is making war with the saints." ⁹ Perceiving am I till thrones were placed, and the Transferrer of Days sits:His clothing is pale as snow, and the hair of His head as immaculate wool; His throne is as flaring flame, its rollers a flashing flame." ¹⁰ Streaming is a flame in front and issuing from before Him; a thousand thousands are irradiating Him, and ten thousand ten thousands are rising before Him. Adjudication sits and the scrolls are opened." ¹¹ Perceiving am I then--because of the sound of the monstrous matters that the horn is declaring--perceiving am I till the animal is despatched, destroyed is her frame and granted to the glowing fire." ¹² And the remainder of the animals--their authority is caused to pass away, yet a lengthening of life is granted to them till the stated time and season." ¹³ Perceiving am I in the visions of the night, and behold, on the clouds of the heavens, One as a son of a mortal is arriving:Unto the Transferrer of Days He reaches, and they bring Him near before Him;" ¹⁴ to Him is granted jurisdiction and esteem and a kingdom, and all the peoples and leagues and language-groups shall serve Him; His jurisdiction, as an eonian jurisdiction, will not pass away, and His kingdom shall not be confined." ¹⁵ Shuddering is my spirit--mine, Daniel's--in the midst of its sheath, and the visions of my head are flustering me." ¹⁶ I draw near to one of the risers, and as to the certainty of all this am I petitioning him. Then he speaks to me, and the interpretation of the matter is he making known to me." ¹⁷ These monstrous animals, the four of them, are four kingdoms which will perish from the earth."

⁷ Dreadful and fearful is he! His judgment and his dignity are faring forth from him.

⁸ Again the Adversary takes Him along into a very high mountain, and is showing Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.

⁵ And, leading Him up into a high mountain, the Adversary shows Him all the kingdoms of the inhabited earth in a second of time."

⁴ And you lift up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say in that day, "How ceases the exactor! Ceases the audacious city!"

⁷ A golden cup [is] Babylon in the hand of Yahweh, Making drunk all the earth, Of its wine drunk have nations, Therefore boast themselves do nations."

³⁷ You, O king, are king of kings, seeing that the Eloah of the heavens grants a safeguarded kingdom to you, and might and honor and esteem." ³⁸ In every place where the sons of mortals are abiding, the animal of the field, the flyer of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, He grants into your hand. He gives you authority over them all. You are the head that is gold." ³⁹ In your place shall arise another kingdom of the earth, inferior to you, that is silver; and another kingdom, the third, that is copper, shall have authority in all the earth."

²² you it is, O king, seeing that you are increased and mighty, and your grandeur is increased, and reaches to the heavens, and your authority to the extremity of the earth."

³⁰ Responding is the king to all this by saying, "Is not this Babylon great that I have built to be the house of the kingdom within the might of my safeguarding walls, for the esteem of my honor!"

⁴ The eastern animal is a lioness, and she has the wings of a vulture. ³ Then I am lifting my eyes and I am seeing, and behold, one ram standing before the canal, and it has two horns. The horns are lofty, yet the one is loftier than the other, and the loftier one is coming up last." ⁴ I see the ram rushing forth seaward, northward and toward the southland. No animals at all are standing before him, and there is no rescuing from his hand. He does as is acceptable to himself and magnifies himself." ⁵ When I came to consider, behold, a he-goat of the goats is coming from the west over the surface of the entire earth, and there is no touching the earth. The he-goat has a conspicuous horn between his eyes, ⁶ and he is coming unto the ram, the possessor of the two horns (which I see standing before the canal). He is running at him in the fury of his vigor" ⁷ and I see him attaining to the side of the ram. He is bitterly embittered against him and is smiting the ram and breaking his two horns. No vigor remains in the ram to stand before him when he is flinging him to the earth. He is tramping on him and no one comes to rescue the ram from his hand. ⁸ Then the he-goat of the goats magnifies himself unto excess. And as he is staunch, broken is the great horn, and instead of it are coming up four other conspicuous horns to the four winds of the heavens."

² Now the truth will I tell you. Behold, three kings will yet stand up in Persia; the fourth will be enriched with riches greater than all; as he is steadfast in his riches he will rouse the whole kingdom of Greece." ³ Then stands up a master king, he rules a vast dominion and does as is acceptable to himself." ⁴ While he stands, his kingdom will be broken and divided to the four winds of the heavens, yet not to his kin after him. It will not be as his rule with which he ruled; for plucked up will be his kingdom, even by others besides these." ⁵ Steadfast will be a king of the southland. Due to his chiefs he also will be steadfast over it and rule a vast dominion as his dominion." ⁶ Now at the end of these years they will join:The daughter of the king of the southland will come to the king of the north to make equitable settlements with him. Yet she shall not retain the vigor of the seed, nor shall he stand or his seed. She will be given up--she and those bringing her, also the lady-in-waiting and he who made her steadfast in these eras." ⁷ Yet one stands from the scion of her roots, in his post, and he will come to lead the army. He will come into the stronghold of the king of the north and deal with them and be steadfast." ⁸ Moreover, their Elohim he overturns with their molten images; and their throngs with their coveted furnishings of silver and gold will be bring to Egypt in captivity. Thus he for years will stand over the king of the north;" ⁹ when he comes into the kingdom of the king of the southland he returns to his ground. ¹⁰ Yet his sons shall be stirred up and gather a throng of many armies which comes into the southland, overwhelms it and passes. Yet it shall return and be stirred up unto its strength." ¹¹ Then bitterly embittered shall be the king of the southland; hence he fares forth and fights with him, that is with the king of the north. He also recruits a vast throng, and the throng is given into his hand and borne away is the throng." ¹² High will be his heart when he casts down tens of thousands, yet he will not be strengthened." ¹³ Then the king of the north returns and recruits a throng vaster than the former. Thus at the end of the eras of years shall he come, verily with a great army and much material." ¹⁴ In those eras many hearts shall stand against the king of the southland, the `sons of breaching' of your people will lift themselves up to cause the vision to stand, yet they shall stumble." <sup>15</sup> Then shall come the king of the north and pour out a siege-work and seize city fortresses. Yet the armed forces of the king of the southland shall not stand nor his `chosen people,' for there is no vigor to stand." ¹⁶ He who is coming against it will do as is acceptable to himself, and there is no one standing before him. Thus he will stand in the stately land which is all in his hand." ¹⁷ Then he shall set his face to come with the might of all his kingdom and equitable settlements shall he make with him. Even a wives' daughter shall he give to him to corrupt her, yet she shall not stand, nor for him shall she be." ¹⁸ Then he will turn back his face to the coastline and seize many places. Thus a captain eradicates his reproach for him, avoiding that his reproach shall turn back to him." ¹⁹ Then he shall turn his face to the strongholds of his own land. Yet he is stumbled and falls and will not be found." ²⁰ Then stands in his post out of his root a royal sprout who has an exactor to pass among the honorable of the kingdom. Yet in some days he will be broken, not in anger and not in battle."

⁴ And the woman was clothed with purple and scarlet, and gilded with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand, brimming with abominations and the uncleannesses of the prostitution of her and the earth."

⁴⁰ The fourth kingdom shall be mighty as iron, forasmuch as iron is pulverizing and overcoming all. As iron that smashes, all these shall it pulverize and smash." ⁴¹ Seeing that you perceived the feet and toes, part of them of potter's clay, and part of them of iron:The kingdom shall be composite. And the stability of iron will be in it, forasmuch as you perceived the iron mixed with the muddy clay." ⁴² And the toes of the feet, part of them of iron and part of them of clay:at the end, the kingdom shall be mighty, yet part of it shall be frail." ⁴³ Seeing that you perceived the iron mixed with muddy clay:Thus mixing with wealth is the armed force of the mortal. Yet with wealth it is not clinging, this one with that one, even as iron mixes not with clay."

⁷ In place of this perceiving am I in the visions of the night, and behold, a fourth animal, terrifying and awful, and exuberantly mighty; she has monstrous iron teeth, devouring and pulverizing and stamping upon the remainder with her feet. She is diverse from all the animals that are east of her, and she has ten horns." ⁸ Contemplating am I the horns, and lo, another bit of a horn comes up among them, and three of the eastern horns are felled to stumps before it. And lo, eyes as the eyes of a mortal are in this horn, and a mouth declaring monstrous things, and it is making war with the saints."

¹⁹ Then I would know the certainty concerning the fourth animal that is diverse from them all, redundantly terrifying:Her teeth of iron, her claws of copper; devouring, pulverizing and stamping upon the remainder with her feet;" ²⁰ and concerning the ten horns that are on her head; and concerning another horn that comes up and the three before it fall, even the same horn with its eyes and a mouth declaring monstrous things, and the vision of it is larger than its partners." ²¹ Perceiving am I and the same horn is making an attack on the saints and is prevailing against them, ²² till the Transferrer of Days arrives, and adjudication is granted to the saints of the supremacies, and the stated time is reached, and the kingdom is safeguarded by the saints." ²³ So he speaks again to me, "The fourth animal--it is the fourth kingdom being on the earth, that is diverse from all three kingdoms. She will devour the entire earth and thresh it and pulverize it." ²⁴ The ten horns--from her kingdom are ten kings who will rise, and another one will rise after them. He is diverse from the eastern:Three kings will he abase;" ²⁵ declarations to set aside the Supreme will he declare; to the saints of the supremacies will he bring decay; he is meaning to alter stated times and an edict; and they shall be granted into his hand unto a season and two seasons and the distribution of a season. ²⁶ Yet adjudication sits; and they will cause his authority to pass away, even to exterminate and to destroy till the terminus."

⁸ Ask of Me, And I will give the nations as Your allotment, And as Your holding, the limits of the earth. ⁹ You shall smash them with a club of iron; Like a vessel of a potter, You shall shatter them. ¹⁰ And now, O kings, be intelligent; Be admonished, all judges of the earth;" ¹¹ Serve Yahweh with fear, And exult with quivering. ¹² Bear admonition lest He should be angry, And you should perish in the way, For His anger shall consume speedily. Happy are all those taking refuge in Him.

⁵ Yahweh is at Your right; He will transfix kings in the day of His anger. ⁶ He shall adjudicate among the nations; He will fill them with dead bodies; He will transfix heads over the vast earth.

²² The stone which the builders rejected, It came to be for the head of the corner."

⁶ May exaltations of El be in their throat And a serrated sword in their hand, ⁷ To execute vengeance on the nations, Corrections on the national groups;" ⁸ To bind their kings with manacles And their glorious nobles with fetters of iron, ⁹ To execute the written judgment against them, This is the honor of all His benign ones. Praise Yah."

¹⁶ Wherefore, thus says my Lord Yahweh, "Behold Me laying in Zion a foundation stone, a choice stone, a corner of a precious well-founded foundation. The believer on it shall not be put to shame."

¹² For the nation and the kingdom which will not serve you shall perish, and these nations shall be deserted, yea deserted."

⁴⁴ In their days, that is, of these kings, the Eloah of the heavens will set up a kingdom that for the eons shall not come to harm. His kingdom shall not be left to another people. It will pulverize and terminate all these kingdoms, and it shall be confirmed for the eons." ⁴⁵ Forasmuch as you perceived that a stone severs itself from a mountain range, that is, not by hands, and it pulverizes the iron, the copper, the clay, the silver, and the gold, the great Eloah makes known to the king what shall occur after this. Certain is the dream and faithful its interpretation."

¹³ Perceiving am I in the visions of the night, and behold, on the clouds of the heavens, One as a son of a mortal is arriving:Unto the Transferrer of Days He reaches, and they bring Him near before Him;" ¹⁴ to Him is granted jurisdiction and esteem and a kingdom, and all the peoples and leagues and language-groups shall serve Him; His jurisdiction, as an eonian jurisdiction, will not pass away, and His kingdom shall not be confined."

²⁷ And the kingdom and the jurisdiction and the majesty of the kingdom under the entire heavens will be granted to the people of the saints of the supremacies. Their kingdom is an eonian kingdom, and all other authorities shall serve and hearken to them."

²⁵ By his intelligence he causes deceit to prosper in his hand. In his heart he is magnifying himself, and with ease will he ruin many. Against the Chief of chiefs will he stand, yet at the limit of his hand he shall be broken."

⁶ And I am saying, No, my lord. And he is answering and speaking to me, saying, This is the word of Yahweh to Zerubbabel, saying:Not by valor, nor by vigor, but rather by My spirit, says Yahweh of hosts."

³ And it shall come to be in that day, I will make Jerusalem a stone, a lading for all the peoples; all laden with it shall be sorely lacerated, and all the nations of the earth shall be gathered against it."

¹⁸ Now I, also, am saying to you that you are Peter, and on this rock will I be building My ecclesia, and the gates of the unseen shall not be prevailing against it."

¹³ who were begotten, not of bloods, neither of the will of the flesh, neither of the will of a man, but of God."

¹¹ This is the Stone that is being scorned by you builders, which is becoming the head of the corner."

¹ For we are aware that, if our terrestrial tabernacle house should be demolished, we have a building of God, a house not made by hands, eonian, in the heavens."

²⁴ For Christ entered not into holy places made by hands, representations of the true, but into heaven itself, now to be disclosed to the face of God for our sakes."

⁷ To you, then, who are believing, is the honor, yet to the unbelieving: "A Stone which is rejected by the builders, this came to be for the head of the corner,

¹⁵ And the seventh messenger trumpets. And loud voices occurred in heaven, saying, "The kingdom of this world became our Lord's and His Christ's, and He shall be reigning for the eons of the eons! Amen!"

¹⁴ These will be battling with the Lambkin, and the Lambkin will be conquering them, seeing that It is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with It are called and chosen and faithful."

¹¹ And I perceived heaven open, and lo! a white horse. And He Who is sitting on it is called "Faithful and True,and in righteousness is He judging and battling." ¹² Now His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems, having names written of which no one except Himself is aware, ¹³ and He is clothed in a cloak dipped in blood, and His name is called "The Word of God." ¹⁴ And the armies in heaven, dressed in cambric, white and clean, followed Him on white horses." ¹⁵ And out of His mouth a sharp blade is issuing, that with it He should be smiting the nations. And He will be shepherding them with an iron club. And He is treading the wine trough of the fury of the indignation of God, the Almighty." ¹⁶ And on His cloak and on His thigh He has a name written: "King of kings and Lord of lords." ¹⁷ And I perceived another messenger, standing in the sun. And he cries with a loud voice, saying to all the birds which are flying in mid-heaven, "Hither! Be gathered for the great dinner of God, ¹⁸ that you may be eating the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of the strong, and the flesh of horses and of those sitting on them, and the flesh of all freemen as well as slaves, and of small and of great." ¹⁹ And I perceived the wild beast and the kings of the earth and their armies, gathered to do battle with Him Who is sitting on the horse and with His army." ²⁰ And the wild beast is arrested, and with it the false prophet who does the signs in its sight, by which he deceives those getting the emblem of the wild beast, and those worshiping its image. Living, the two were cast into the lake of fire burning with sulphur." ²¹ And the rest were killed with the blade which is coming out of the mouth of Him Who is sitting on the horse. And all the birds are satisfied with their flesh.

¹⁷ In the season when they thaw they are effaced; When it is warm they are extinguished from their place.

⁴ Not so the wicked, But rather they are like the trash that the wind whisks away. ⁵ Therefore, the wicked shall not rise up in judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

²⁷ All the limits of the earth shall remember and return to Yahweh, And all the families of the nations shall bow down before Him."

¹⁰ And still a little while, and there will be no wicked one; When you consider his place, he will not be there."

³⁶ Yet I passed by, and behold, he was not there, And I sought him, and he was not found."

⁹ Who is making wars cease unto the end of the earth. He shall break the bow, and He cuts away the spear; He shall burn the battle carts with fire."

⁴ All the earth shall bow down to You and shall make melody to You. They shall make melody to Your Name. {Interlude{

¹⁶ There shall come to be a plenitude of cereal in the earth to the summit of the mountains. Its fruit shall rustle like Lebanon, And they of the city shall blossom like herbage of the earth." ¹⁷ His Name shall remain for the eon; Before the sun shall His Name be propagated, And all nations shall bless themselves in Him and call Him happy."

⁹ You cleared out the way before it, So that it rooted its roots and filled the land." ¹⁰ The mountains were covered by its shadow, And the cedars of El by its boughs."

⁹ All nations which You have made Shall come and worship before You, O Yahweh, And they shall glorify Your Name."

¹⁶ For the wind, it passes over him, and he is no more, And his place shall not recognize him any longer."

² And it comes in the days hereafter, established shall be the mount of Yahweh, and the house of the Elohim, on the summit of the mountains, and borne by the hills. And stream to it all the nations." ³ And go many peoples and say, "Go, and we will ascend to the mount of Yahweh, and to the house of the Elohim of Jacob, and He will direct us in His ways, and we will go in His paths.For from Zion shall fare forth the law, and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem."

⁹ They will not do evil, nor will they ruin, in all My holy mountain, for full is the earth of the knowledge of Yahweh. As water for the sea floor is a covering."

¹³ The folkstems shall be tumulted as the tumult of many waters, yet He rebukes them, and they flee far off, and they will be pursued as the trash of the winnowers before the wind, and as a tumbleweed before a sweeping whirlwind." ¹⁴ At eventide comes mourning. Ere morning, there is no one. This is the portion of our robbers, and the lot of our plunderers."

¹⁵ Behold! I constitute you a new spiked threshing sledge possessing serrated edges. You shall thresh the mountains and pulverize them, and the hills you shall make as trash." ¹⁶ You will winnow them, and the wind will carry them away. And the tempest will scatter them. And you shall exult in Yahweh. And in the Holy One of Israel shall you boast."

³ Wherefore they shall become as a cloud of the morning, and as the early going night mist; as trash which is being tempest-tossed, and as smoke from a crevice."

¹³ Rise and thresh them, daughter of Zion, for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hoofs copper, and with them you rend nations. And you pulverize many peoples. And you devote to Yahweh their gain, and their estate to the Lord of all the earth."

⁸ And it comes to be in that day, that living waters shall fare forth from Jerusalem, half of them to the eastern sea, and half of them to the latter sea. In summer and in winter shall it be thus." ⁹ Then Yahweh shall come to be King over the entire earth. In that day Yahweh is coming to be one, and His name one."

²⁵ For He must be reigning until He should be placing all His enemies under His feet.

⁸ And they are not strong enough for him, neither was their place still found in heaven."

² And he lays hold of the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the Adversary and Satan, and binds him a thousand years." ³ And he casts him into the submerged chaos and locks it, and seals it over him (lest he should still be deceiving the nations) until the thousand years should be finished. After these things he must be loosed a little time."

¹¹ And I perceived a great white throne, and Him Who is sitting upon it, from Whose face earth and heaven fled, and no place was found for them."

²³ To Thee, Eloah of my forefathers, am I acclaiming and lauding, that wisdom and mastery Thou dost grant to me. And now Thou dost make known to me that which we petition of Thee; for the king's matter Thou hast made known to us." ²⁴ Wherefore Daniel goes in unto Arioch, whom the king assigned to destroy all the wise men of Babylon. He departs and says to him, "The wise men of Babylon you must not destroy. Bring me in before the king, and the interpretation am I disclosing to the king."

²⁴ for he is ruling over all beyond the river, from Tiphsah and unto Gaza, over all the kings beyond the river, and he has peace from all his servants round about.

²³ `Thus said Cyrus king of Persia, All kingdoms of the earth has Yahweh, Elohim of the heavens, given to me, and He has laid a charge on me to build to Him a house in Jerusalem, that [is] in Judah; who is among you of all His people? Yahweh his Elohim [is] with him, and he does go up..

² Thus speaks Cyrus king of Persia:Yahweh Elohim of the heavens has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and He Himself has committed to me to build for Him a House in Jerusalem, which is in Judah.

¹² Artaxerxes king of kings, to Ezra the priest, scholar in the edict of the Eloah of the heavens. Peace being perfected! And no.

¹⁵ By me kings reign, And chancellors make statutes of righteousness."

⁸ For saying is he, "Are not my chiefs altogether kings?

⁵ Sit still, and come into darkness, daughter of the Chaldeans, for no more shall they call you, `Mistress of the kingdoms.'"

¹⁴ For thus said Yahweh of Hosts, Elohim of Israel, A yoke of iron I have put on the neck of all these nations to serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and they have served him, and also the beast of the field I have given to him.'"

⁷ For, thus said the Lord Yahweh:Lo, I am bringing in unto Tyre Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, From the north--a king of kings, With horse, and with chariot, and with horsemen, Even an assembly, and a numerous people."

³ His signs how immense, and His amazing deeds how mighty! His kingdom is an eonian kingdom, and His jurisdiction is with generation after generation."

²⁵ for they shall shove you from mortals, and with the animals of the field is to be your abode, and herbage will they feed to you, as oxen, and with the night mist of the heavens will you be streaked; thus seven seasons shall pass on over you till you shall know that the Supreme is in authority in the kingdom of mortals, and that to whom He is willing He is giving it."

³⁴ And at the end of the days, I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to the heavens, and my knowledge is returning to me. Then I blessed the Supreme, and I lauded and honored Him Who is living for the eon, seeing that His jurisdiction is an eonian jurisdiction, and His kingdom is with generation after generation."

¹⁸ You, O king! The Supreme Eloah granted the kingdom and majesty and esteem and honor to Nebuchadnezzar your grandfather."

¹⁰ moreover seeing that they are dispensing among the nations, now I will convene them, yet they shall wait a little before anointing a king and chiefs."

¹¹ Jesus answered him, "No authority have you against Me in anything, except it were given to you from above. Therefore he who is giving Me up to you has the greater sin."

⁵ and from Jesus Christ, the Faithful Witness, the Firstborn of the dead, and the Suzerain of the kings of the earth. To Him Who is loving us and looses us from our sins by His blood"

¹¹ Worthy art Thou, O Lord, our Lord and God, To get glory and honor and power; For Thou dost create all, And because of Thy will they were, and are created."

¹⁰ For Mine is every animal of the wildwood, And domestic beasts by the thousands on My mountains." ¹¹ I know every flyer of the heavens, And the mammal of the field is before me."

²¹ and its leaves are seemly, and its pollination abundant, and sustenance for all is in it, under it the animal of the field is abiding, and in its boughs are roosting the birds of the heavens--" ²² you it is, O king, seeing that you are increased and mighty, and your grandeur is increased, and reaches to the heavens, and your authority to the extremity of the earth."

²⁸ Saying as to Cyrus, `My shepherd,' and `All My desire he will perform.' Saying as to Jerusalem, `It shall be built.' And the temple, `It shall be founded.'"

³² The image's head is good gold, its chest and its arms are silver, its belly and its thighs are copper,

²⁸ PHURS, bisected is your kingdom and it will be granted to the Medes and Persians." ²⁹ Then, at Belshazzar's order, they clothe Daniel in purple, with a circlet of gold about his neck, and they proclaim concerning him that he is the third authority in the kingdom." ³⁰ In the same night Belshazzar is despatched, the king of the Chaldeans. Thus the interpretation comes on Belshazzar the king:The kingdom is taken away from the Chaldeans and given to the Medes and Persians." ³¹ And Darius the Mede received the kingdom, being about sixty-two years old."

⁵ And behold, another animal, a second, like a she-bear; one part is set up, and three ribs are in her mouth between her teeth. Thus are they saying to her, "Rise! Eat huge amounts of flesh." ⁶ In place of this perceiving am I, and behold, another animal, as a leopardess; she has four flyer's wings on her arched back, and four heads has the animal. Jurisdiction is being granted to her." ⁷ In place of this perceiving am I in the visions of the night, and behold, a fourth animal, terrifying and awful, and exuberantly mighty; she has monstrous iron teeth, devouring and pulverizing and stamping upon the remainder with her feet. She is diverse from all the animals that are east of her, and she has ten horns."

²³ So he speaks again to me, "The fourth animal--it is the fourth kingdom being on the earth, that is diverse from all three kingdoms. She will devour the entire earth and thresh it and pulverize it."

³ Then I am lifting my eyes and I am seeing, and behold, one ram standing before the canal, and it has two horns. The horns are lofty, yet the one is loftier than the other, and the loftier one is coming up last." ⁴ I see the ram rushing forth seaward, northward and toward the southland. No animals at all are standing before him, and there is no rescuing from his hand. He does as is acceptable to himself and magnifies himself." ⁵ When I came to consider, behold, a he-goat of the goats is coming from the west over the surface of the entire earth, and there is no touching the earth. The he-goat has a conspicuous horn between his eyes, ⁶ and he is coming unto the ram, the possessor of the two horns (which I see standing before the canal). He is running at him in the fury of his vigor" ⁷ and I see him attaining to the side of the ram. He is bitterly embittered against him and is smiting the ram and breaking his two horns. No vigor remains in the ram to stand before him when he is flinging him to the earth. He is tramping on him and no one comes to rescue the ram from his hand. ⁸ Then the he-goat of the goats magnifies himself unto excess. And as he is staunch, broken is the great horn, and instead of it are coming up four other conspicuous horns to the four winds of the heavens." ⁹ Then from the one of these four fares forth one inferior horn, and he is growing redundantly great to the southland and to the sunrise and to the stately land:" ¹⁰ He is growing great unto the host of the heavens, and cast to the earth is one from the host, and one from the stars who is also tramping on them." ¹¹ Even unto the chief of the host he magnifies himself:Because of him the continuous ritual is disturbed, flung down is all that pertains to the site of His sanctuary, ¹² and the horn is given a host for trespassing against the continuous ritual; thus is he flinging the truth to the earth. And he does this and prospers. ¹³ Now I am hearing one saint speaking. And saying is one other saint to so-and-so, the speaking one, "Till when is the vision of the continuous ritual--the cessation of the sacrifice and the desolating transgression which gives over even the holy place and the host to tramping? ¹⁴ He is answering him, "Till two thousand and three hundred evenings-mornings. Then found just is the holy place."

²⁰ The ram which you saw possessing the two horns, is the kingdom of Media and Persia."

²⁰ Then he is saying to me, "You know why I come to you? Now I will return to fight with the chief of the king of Persia. While I am faring forth, behold, the chief of Greece comes!"

³ and for the third chariot are white horses, and for the fourth chariot are dappled, resolute horses."

⁶ The dusky horses which are in it are faring forth to the land of the north, and the white fare forth after them, and the dappled fare forth to the south land."

¹² Does one break iron--northern iron, and brass?

³³ its legs are iron, its feet, part of them are iron, and part of them are clay."

²⁴ Staunch is his vigor, yet not by his own vigor. Marvelously shall he ruin and prosper and deal. Thus he ruins the staunch and the people of the saints."

²⁶ After the sixty-two sevens, Messiah will be cut off, and there is no adjudication for Him. The city and the holy place shall be laid in ruins with the other governor's coming; then its end is by an overflow, and till the end of the war desolations will be decided."

³⁶ Yet doing is the king as is acceptable to himself:He will exalt and magnify himself over every el, against the El of elim will he speak marvelous things and prosper till the menace is concluded; for that which is decided shall be done." ³⁷ Concerning the Elohim of his forefathers he shall not understand, nor concerning the coveting of wives, nor concerning any eloah shall he understand; for he shall magnify himself over all." ³⁸ Yet the eloah of the strong in his post shall he glorify:An eloah whom his forefathers did not know, he will glorify with gold, silver, precious stones and coveted treasures." ³⁹ He deals for fortresses of the strong with a foreign eloah whom he shall recognize with increasing glory, he shall cause them to rule over many, and the ground shall he apportion for a price." ⁴⁰ Then, in the era of the end, gore him will the king of the southland. As a horrifying hurricane will come on him the king of the north, with chariot and cavalry and many ships. Thus he comes into the lands and overwhelms and passes." ⁴¹ When he comes into the stately land, many will stumble. Yet these are escaping from his hand:Edom and Moab and the adjacent land of the sons of Ammon." ⁴² He will send his hand into the lands, and the land of Egypt will not continue to have deliverance." ⁴³ He rules by reserves of gold and silver and by all he covets from Egypt, the Libyans and the Ethiopians--reserves which are in his fastnesses." ⁴⁴ Yet reports shall fluster him, from the sunrise and from the north, and forth he fares with great fury to exterminate and to doom many." ⁴⁵ He will plant the tents of his regalia between the seas in the stately holy mountain. When he comes unto his end, there is no help for him."

³ Thus says Yahweh, Due to three transgressions of Damascus, and due to four, I will not turn it back, due to their threshing Gilead with iron spikes."

⁴⁸ If we should be leaving him thus, all will be believing in him, and the Romans will come and take away our place as well as our nation."

³³ its legs are iron, its feet, part of them are iron, and part of them are clay." ³⁴ You were perceiving till a stone severs itself, that is, not by hands, and it collides with the image at its feet that were of iron and clay, and pulverizes them." ³⁵ Then pulverized, as one, are the iron, the clay, the copper, the silver, and the gold, and they are as chaff from summer threshing sites, and the wind lifts them up, and no place at all is found for them. And the stone that collides with the image becomes a vast mountain range, and fills all the earth."

²⁴ The ten horns--from her kingdom are ten kings who will rise, and another one will rise after them. He is diverse from the eastern:Three kings will he abase;"

³ And seen was another sign in heaven, and lo! a great fiery-red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and on its heads seven diadems."

¹ And it was standing on the sand of the sea. And I perceived a wild beast ascending out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on its horns ten diadems, and on its heads blasphemous names."

¹² And the ten horns which you perceived are ten kings who obtained no kingdom as yet, but are obtaining authority as kings one hour with the wild beast."

¹⁰ Not withdraw shall the sceptre from Judah, nor a statue-maker's staff from between his feet, till it be that ease shall come to him. And to it shall the expectation of the people be.

⁶ I will pour a libation on My King, On Zion, My holy mountain. ⁷ Let me recount the statute of Yahweh:He has said to Me, My Son are You; I, today, have begotten You.

⁸ Your hand shall find all Your enemies; Your right hand, it shall find those hating You." ⁹ You shall make them like a fiery stove in the era of Your presence. Yahweh shall swallow them up in His anger, And fire shall devour them."

¹ {Solomonic{ O Elohim, bestow Your right judgments on the king, And Your righteousness on the royal son." ² May he adjudicate Your people with righteousness, And Your humbled ones with redress." ³ May the mountains bear peace for the people, And the hills blossom with righteousness." ⁴ May he redress the humbled of the people; May he save the sons of the needy And crush the exploiter. ⁵ He shall abide long as the sun And before the moon, generation after generations." ⁶ He shall descend like rain on the grassland, Like showers, drenching the earth." ⁷ Righteousness shall bud in His day, And abundant peace until the moon is no more." ⁸ He shall hold sway from sea unto sea, And from the stream unto the limits of the earth." ⁹ Before Him His foes shall bow, And His enemies shall lick up the soil." ¹⁰ The kings of Tarshish and the coastlands shall render a tributary present; The kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer levy. ¹¹ And all the kings shall bow down to Him; All nations shall serve Him. ¹² For He shall rescue the needy one imploring, And the humbled one, when there is no helper for him." ¹³ He shall be a refuge for the poor and needy one, And the souls of the needy shall He save." ¹⁴ From fraud and from violence shall He redeem their soul, And their blood shall be precious in His eyes." ¹⁵ So may He live; May one give to Him from Sheba's gold, And may one pray about Him continually; May the entire day bless Him." ¹⁶ There shall come to be a plenitude of cereal in the earth to the summit of the mountains. Its fruit shall rustle like Lebanon, And they of the city shall blossom like herbage of the earth." ¹⁷ His Name shall remain for the eon; Before the sun shall His Name be propagated, And all nations shall bless themselves in Him and call Him happy." ¹⁸ Blessed be Yahweh, Elohim, the Elohim of Israel, Doing marvelous works by Himself alone, ¹⁹ And blessed be His glorious Name for the eon! ³ I contracted a covenant with My chosen; I swore to David My servant: ⁴ I shall establish your seed for the eon, And I will build your throne for generation after generation. {Interlude{ "

¹⁹ Then You spoke in a vision to Your benign ones, And You said:I have poised help on a master; I have exalted one chosen from the people." ²⁰ I have found David My servant; With My holy oil have I anointed him, ²¹ With whom My hand shall stand readied; Indeed My arm shall make him resolute. ²² The enemy shall not astrict him, And the son of iniquity shall not humiliate him." ²³ I will pound down his foes before him, And I shall strike against those hating him." ²⁴ Yet My faithfulness and My benignity will be with him, And in My Name shall his horn be exalted." ²⁵ I will place his hand over the sea, And his right hand over the streams." ²⁶ He shall call out to Me, You are my Father, My El and the Rock of my salvation." ²⁷ Indeed, I shall make him the firstborn, The uppermost of the kings of the earth." ²⁸ For the eon shall I keep My benignity upon him, And My covenant with him is faithful." ²⁹ I will establish his seed for the future, And his throne as the days of the heavens." ³⁰ If his sons should forsake My law, And they should not walk in My ordinances, ³¹ If they should profane My statutes And should not keep My instructions, ³² Then I will visit their transgression with a club, And their depravity with contagions." ³³ Yet I shall not withdraw My benignity from him, And I shall not be false in My faithfulness." ³⁴ I shall not profane My covenant, And I shall not alter the utterance of My lips." ³⁵ Once for all have I sworn by My holiness; I shall assuredly not lie to David: ³⁶ His seed shall continue for the eon, And his throne as the sun in front of Me,

¹ {A Davidic Psalm{ The averring of Yahweh to my Lord:Sit at My right Until I should set Your enemies as a stool for Your feet. ² The rod of Your strength shall Yahweh send from Zion; Sway among Your enemies. ³ Your people shall be willing in the day of Your potent power; In holy effulgence from the womb of the dawn, You will have the dew of Your childhood." ⁴ Yahweh has sworn, and He shall not regret:You are a priest for the eon According to the order of Melchizedek."

¹³ Your kingdom is a kingdom for all the eons, And Your dominion for every generation after generation. Faithful is Yahweh in all His words, And benign in all His works."

⁶ For a Boy is born to us; a Son is given to us, and the chieftainship shall come to be on His shoulder, and His name is called "Marvelous.Counsel to the master shall He bring, to the chief of the future, welfare." ⁷ To the increase of the chieftainship, and to the welfare shall be no end. On the throne of David, and over his kingdom, to prepare it, and to brace it with judgment and with justice, henceforth and in the future eon. The zeal of Yahweh of hosts will do this."

²⁵ And they have dwelt on the land that I gave to My servant, to Jacob, In which your fathers have dwelt, And they have dwelt on it, they and their sons, And their son's sons--unto the eon, And David My servant [is] their prince--to the eon."

³⁴ You were perceiving till a stone severs itself, that is, not by hands, and it collides with the image at its feet that were of iron and clay, and pulverizes them."

³⁷ You, O king, are king of kings, seeing that the Eloah of the heavens grants a safeguarded kingdom to you, and might and honor and esteem."

²⁶ From before me is promulgated this decree:In every authority of my kingdom be they stirred and terrified before Daniel's Eloah:He is the living Eloah and is set up for the eons. His kingdom shall not come to harm and His jurisdiction is till the terminus.

⁷ And I make her that is limping a remnant, and her that is beyond the border a staunch nation. And Yahweh shall reign over them in mount Zion, henceforth and unto the eon."

² saying: "Repent! for near is the kingdom of the heavens!" ³ For this is he of whom it is declared through Isaiah the prophet, saying,
"The voice of one imploring:
'In the wilderness make ready the road of the Lord!
Straight...be making the highways'of Him!

¹⁸ And, approaching, Jesus speaks to them saying, "Given to Me was all authority in heaven and on the earth."

³² He shall be great, and Son of the Most High shall He be called. And the Lord God shall be giving Him the throne of David, ³³ His father, and He shall reign over the house of Jacob for the eons. And of His kingdom there shall be no consummation."

³⁴ The throng, then, answered Him, "We hear out of the law that the Christ is remaining for the eon, and how are you saying that the Son of Mankind must be exalted? Who is this Son of Mankind?

²⁴ thereafter the consummation, whenever He may be giving up the kingdom to His God and Father, whenever He should be nullifying all sovereignty and all authority and power." ²⁵ For He must be reigning until He should be placing all His enemies under His feet.

²⁰ which is operative in the Christ, rousing Him from among the dead and seating Him at His right hand among the celestials, ²¹ up over every sovereignty and authority and power and lordship, and every name that is named, not only in this eon, but also in that which is impending:" ²² and subjects all under His feet, and gives Him, as Head over all, to the ecclesia"

²⁷ and he shall be shepherding them with an iron club, as vessels of pottery are being crushed, as I also have obtained from My Father."

¹⁵ And out of His mouth a sharp blade is issuing, that with it He should be smiting the nations. And He will be shepherding them with an iron club. And He is treading the wine trough of the fury of the indignation of God, the Almighty." ¹⁶ And on His cloak and on His thigh He has a name written: "King of kings and Lord of lords." ¹⁷ And I perceived another messenger, standing in the sun. And he cries with a loud voice, saying to all the birds which are flying in mid-heaven, "Hither! Be gathered for the great dinner of God, ¹⁸ that you may be eating the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of the strong, and the flesh of horses and of those sitting on them, and the flesh of all freemen as well as slaves, and of small and of great." ¹⁹ And I perceived the wild beast and the kings of the earth and their armies, gathered to do battle with Him Who is sitting on the horse and with His army." ²⁰ And the wild beast is arrested, and with it the false prophet who does the signs in its sight, by which he deceives those getting the emblem of the wild beast, and those worshiping its image. Living, the two were cast into the lake of fire burning with sulphur."

²⁸ It is the word which I speak to Pharaoh: What the Elohim will do He shows to Pharaoh.

³² And on account of the repetition of the dream to Pharaoh twice, it is that the matter is established with the Elohim. And the Elohim will hasten His doing of it.

¹⁷ For Yahweh your Elohim, He is the Elohim of elohim and the Lord of lords, the El, the great, the masterful and the fear-inspiring One, Who neither lifts up faces in partiality nor takes a bribe,

²² Therefore You have been great, Yahweh Elohim, for there is none like You, and there is no Elohim save You, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

²⁵ For great [is] Yahweh, and praised greatly, And fearful He [is] above all elohims.

¹⁴ And I see, and rise up, and say unto the freemen, and unto the prefects, and unto the rest of the people, `Be not afraid of them; the Lord, the great and the fearful, remember you, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses..

³² `And now, O our Elohim--El, the great, the mighty, and the fearful, keeping the covenant and the kindness--let not all the travail that has found us be little before You, for our kings, for our heads, and for our priests, and for our prophets, and for our fathers, and for all Your people, from the days of the kings of Asshur unto this day;"

²⁶ Behold, El is so great we cannot know it, And the number of His years cannot be investigated.

¹ {A Song{ {A Psalm for the Sons of Korah{ Great is Yahweh, and praised exceedingly In the city of our Elohim, His holy mountain;"

⁴ For great is Yahweh, and praised exceedingly; Fear inspiring is He over all elohim."

⁵ For I myself know that Yahweh is great, And our Lord is greater than all elohim."

³ Great is Yahweh, and praised exceedingly, And as to His greatness there is no fathoming."

¹⁸ Doing kindness to thousands, and recompensing iniquity of fathers into the bosom of their sons after them; El, the great, the mighty, Yahweh of Hosts [is] His name, ¹⁹ Great in counsel, and mighty in act, in that Your eyes are open on all the ways of the sons of Adam, to give to each according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:"

⁴⁴ In their days, that is, of these kings, the Eloah of the heavens will set up a kingdom that for the eons shall not come to harm. His kingdom shall not be left to another people. It will pulverize and terminate all these kingdoms, and it shall be confirmed for the eons."

¹¹ For from the rising of the sun unto its setting, great is My name among the nations, and in every place incense is being brought close for My name, and a clean approach present. For My name is great among the nations, says Yahweh of hosts."

²⁴ Now answering, Jesus said to them, "I also shall ask you one word, which, if you should be telling Me, I also shall be declaring to you by what authority I am doing these things."

³⁵ Heaven and earth shall be passing by, yet My words may by no means be passing by."

²⁰ Now, being inquired of by the Pharisees as to when the kingdom of God is coming, He answered them and said, "The kingdom of God is not coming with scrutiny."

⁴ For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but powerful to God toward the pulling down of bulwarks; " ⁵ pulling down reckonings and every height elevating itself against the knowledge of God, and leading into captivity every apprehension into the obedience of Christ, "

¹⁹ Write then, what you perceived, and what they are, and what is about to be occurring after these things:"

¹ After these things I perceived, and lo! a door is open in heaven, and lo! the first sound which I hear is as a trumpet speaking with me, saying, "Come up here! and I will be showing you what must be occurring after these things."

¹⁷ And I perceived another messenger, standing in the sun. And he cries with a loud voice, saying to all the birds which are flying in mid-heaven, "Hither! Be gathered for the great dinner of God,

³¹ I will turn your cities into a desert and make your sanctuary desolate; I shall not smell your fragrant odor.

¹⁰ so that they may be offering fragrant incense to Eloah of the heavens and be praying for the life of the king and his sons.

¹⁶ And he falls on his face at His feet, thanking Him. And he was a Samaritan."

²⁵ Now as Peter came to enter, Cornelius, meeting with him, falling at his feet, worships."

¹³ Besides, the priest of the Zeus which is before the city, bringing bulls and garlands to the portals, wanted to sacrifice together with the throngs."

⁶ Yet they were apprehensive that he is about to become inflamed or suddenly fall down dead. Yet, after much apprehension, and beholding nothing coming to be amiss with him, retracting, they said he is a god."

¹⁶ And the twenty-four elders who are sitting on their thrones before God fall on their faces and worship God,

¹⁰ And I fall in front of his feet to worship him. And he is saying to me, "See! No! A fellow slave of yours am I, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."

⁸ And I, John, am the one hearing and observing these things. And when I hear and observe, I fall to worship in front of the feet of the messenger who is showing me these things."

²² `The El of elohims--Yahweh, the El of elohims--Yahweh, He is knowing, and Israel, he does know, if in rebellion, and if in trespass against Yahweh (You do not save us this day!.

¹⁹ Causing priests to go forth looted, He also overthrows the well-established.

¹⁰ And now, O kings, be intelligent; Be admonished, all judges of the earth;" ¹¹ Serve Yahweh with fear, And exult with quivering.

¹¹ And all the kings shall bow down to Him; All nations shall serve Him.

¹ {An Asaphic Psalm{ Elohim is stationed in the congregation of El; Among the elohim is He judging:

² Give acclamation to the Elohim of elohim, For His benignity is eonian;"

¹⁹ Then to Daniel in a vision that night, the secret of the king is revealed. Then Daniel blesses the Eloah of the heavens."

⁸ Further, last of all, Daniel comes in before me, whose name is Belteshazzar, after the name of my eloah. Now, seeing that the spirit of the holy Elohim is in him, I state the dream before him also:" ⁹ Belteshazzar, grandee of the sacred scribes, seeing that I know that the spirit of the holy Elohim is in you, and no secret at all bothers you, hear the visions of my dream that I perceived, and state its interpretation to me."

³⁶ Yet doing is the king as is acceptable to himself:He will exalt and magnify himself over every el, against the El of elim will he speak marvelous things and prosper till the menace is concluded; for that which is decided shall be done."

¹⁵ which, to its own eras, the happy and only Potentate will be showing: He is King of kings and Lord of lords,

³⁹ And saying is Pharaoh to Joseph, "After the Elohim has made known to you all this, there is no one as understanding and wise as you. ⁴⁰ You shall be over my household, and at your bidding all my people shall bear weapons. But on the throne will I be greater than you. ⁴¹ And saying is Pharaoh to Joseph, "See! Given you have I today to be over all the land of Egypt. ⁴² And taking off from his hand his ring is Pharaoh, and is putting it on the hand of Joseph. And clothing him is he in garments of cambric sheen, and is placing a knitted collar of gold on his neck, ⁴³ and is having him ride in the second chariot which he has. And calling are they before him, "Kneel!"And he gives him to be over all the land of Egypt.

¹⁶ They came to Balaam and said to him:Thus says Balak son of Zippor, Do not, I pray, be withheld from coming to me, ¹⁷ for I shall glorify, yea glorify you exceedingly, and all that you may say to me I shall do. So come now I pray, revile this people for me.

²⁵ And the men of Israel say, `Have you seen this man who is coming up? for, to reproach Israel he is coming up, and it has been--the man who smites him, the king does enrich him with great riches, and his daughter he does give to him, and his father's house does make free in Israel..

² And [there is] a man in Maon, and his work [is] in Carmel; and the man [is] very great, and he has three thousand sheep, and a thousand goats; and he is shearing his flock in Carmel.

³² and Barzillai [is] very aged, a son of eighty years, and he has sustained the king in his abiding in Mahanaim, for he [is] a very great man;"

¹ And Naaman, head of the host of the king of Aram, was a great man before his lord, and accepted of face, for by him had Yahweh given salvation to Aram, and the man was mighty in valor--leprous.

³ and his acquisitions came to be a flock of seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred pair of oxen and five hundred jennies, besides very many servants. And this man came to be the greatest of all the sons of the East.

⁵ I get me to the great, and I speak with them, For they have known the way of Yahweh, The judgment of their Elohim.' Surely they together have broken the yoke, They have drawn away the bands."

⁶ Should you disclose the dream and its interpretation to me, gifts and a reward and great esteem shall you receive before me. Only disclose the dream and its interpretation."

¹ In the eighteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar, the king made an image of gold. Its height was sixty cubits and its breadth six cubits. He set it up in Dura valley in the province of Babylon."

³⁰ Then the king prospers Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego in the province of Babylon. And he promotes them and deems them worthy to govern all the Jews who are in his kingdom."

¹ Seemly is it before Darius to set up over the kingdom a hundred and twenty-seven satraps who shall be in all the kingdom. ² Over them are three chancellors, Daniel being one of them. These satraps shall be reporting on their decrees to the three of them, so no damage will be done to the king's administration."

¹⁹ When diverse virgins were brought together, Mordecai was sitting in the king's gateway.

²¹ In those days when Mordecai was sitting in the king's gateway, Bigthan and Teresh, two of the king's eunuchs of the guardians of the threshold, were wrathful and sought out to lay hand on king Xerxes.

² All the king's courtiers in the king's gateway were bowing down and prostrating themselves before Haman; for so were the instructions the king had given concerning him. As for Mordecai, he did neither bow down nor prostrate himself.

¹² When the righteous are glad there is great felicity everywhere, Yet when the wicked rise humanity must lie low."

³ and come in do all the heads of the king of Babylon, and they sit at the middle gate, Nergal-Sharezer, Samgar-Nebo, Sarsechim, chief of the eunuchs, Nergal-Sharezer, chief of the Mages, and all the rest of the heads of the king of Babylon."

¹⁷ Then Daniel departs to his house, and to Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah, his partners, he makes all the matter known."

¹² Actually, the Jewish masters whom you assigned over the administration of the province of Babylon--Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego--these masters did not act on your decree, O king:Your eloah they are not serving, the golden image that you set up they are not worshipping." ¹³ Then Nebuchadnezzar, disturbed and furious, says to bring hither Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. Then these Jewish masters are brought hither before the king." ¹⁴ Responding is Nebuchadnezzar and saying to them, "Is it intentional, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego, that you are not actually serving my eloah, the golden image that I set up you are not worshiping? ¹⁵ Actually, should you now be ready, then, as soon as you are hearing the sound of the horn, the pipe, the lyre, the sambuke, the psalteries--all sorts of music in concert--you shall fall down and worship the golden image that I made. And should you not be ready, you know that if you are not worshiping, in the same hour shall you be heaved into the midst of the glowing, flaming furnace. And who is the eloah that will deliver you from my hands? ¹⁶ Answering are Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego and saying to king Nebuchadnezzar, "Not necessary is it for us to reply to you concerning this rescript." ¹⁷ Should it actually happen, our Eloah in the heavens, Whom we are serving, can deliver us from the glowing, flaming furnace; and from your hand, O king, will He deliver us." ¹⁸ Should He not, be it known to you, O king, that actually your elohim we will not serve, and the golden image that you set up we will not worship." ¹⁹ Then Nebuchadnezzar is full of fury, and the mien of his visage alters against Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego. He is answering and saying to heat the furnace seven units over what he perceives it to be already heated." ²⁰ And to the masters--masters of valor that are in his army--he says to truss up Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego and heave them into the glowing flaming furnace." ²¹ Then these masters truss them up in their mantles, their turbans on their heads, their garb and their clothing, and heave them into the midst of the glowing, flaming furnace." ²² Wherefore--because the king's matter is urgent, and the furnace heated redundantly, seven units more than aforetime--these masters who were chosen to truss them up and to approach the furnace and hoist Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego:Despatched are they by the flare of the flame." ²³ And these other masters, the three of them, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego, fall trussed up into the midst of the glowing, flaming furnace. Yet they are walking in the midst of the flame, singing hymns to Eloah and blessing Yahweh." ²⁴ Then king Nebuchadnezzar marks it and rises in a fluster. Responding and saying is he to his retinue, "Did we not heave three masters, trussed up, into the midst of the flame?They are answering and saying to the king, "Certainly, O king!" ²⁵ He is answering and saying, "Aha! I am perceiving four masters, untied, walking about in the midst of the flame, and actually, not one among them is harmed! And the appearance of the fourth is like a son of Elohim." ²⁶ Then king Nebuchadnezzar draws near to the door of the glowing flaming furnace and is responding and saying, "Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego, servants of Him Who is the Supreme Eloah of Elohim, step out and come hither.Then out are stepping Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego from the midst of the flame." ²⁷ Now assembling are the satraps, prefects and viceroys and the king's retinue and are perceiving these masters, that the flame has no authority over their frames:The hair of their head it does not singe, their mantles it does not alter, and further, the smell of flame is not on them." ²⁸ Responding is king Nebuchadnezzar and saying, "Blessed be their Eloah--that of Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego--Who sent His messenger and delivered His servants who are relying on Him, when they alter the king's declaration. They granted their frames to the fire, seeing that they will not serve, neither worship any other eloah, only their Eloah." ²⁹ Now from me shall be promulgated a decree that, in every people, league, and language-group, whoever is saying aught carelessly against their Eloah--that of Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego--shall be dismembered and his house shall be the equivalent of a confiscation, forasmuch as there is actually not another Eloah Who can rescue as this One." ³⁰ Then the king prospers Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego in the province of Babylon. And he promotes them and deems them worthy to govern all the Jews who are in his kingdom."

¹⁵ Hate evil and love good, and put judgment in the gateway; perhaps Yahweh, Elohim of hosts, will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph."
