¹ And Abraham is old, come to days. And Yahweh blesses Abraham in all things. ² And saying is Abraham to his servant, the oldest of his household, the ruler over all that is his, "Pray place your hand under my thigh, ³ and adjure you will I by Yahweh, the Elohim of the heavens and the Elohim of the earth, that you will not take a wife for my son Isaac from the daughters of the Canaanite near whom I am dwelling, ⁴ for to my land whence I came, and to my kindred should you go, and take a wife for my son, for Isaac, thence. ⁵ And saying to him is the servant, "Perhaps the woman will not be willing to go after me to this land. Shall I restore, yea restore your son to the land whence you fared forth? ⁶ And saying to him is Abraham, "Beware you, lest you restore my son thither!" ⁷ Yahweh, the Elohim of the heavens and the Elohim of the earth, Who took me from my father's household and from the land of my kindred, whence I came, and Who spoke to me, and Who swore to me, saying, `To you and your seed will I give this land,' He will send His messenger before you, and you take a wife for my son, Isaac, thence. <sup>8</sup> And should the woman not be willing to go after you to this land, innocent are you of this my oath, but my son you shall not restore thither. <sup>9</sup> And placing is the servant his hand under the thigh of Abraham, his lord, and is swearing to him on account of this matter. <sup>10</sup> And taking is the servant ten camels from the camels of his lord, and is going. And all manner of good things of his lord are in his hand. And rising is he and going to Syria of the streams, to the city of Nahor. <sup>11</sup> And causing is he the camels to kneel outside the city at a well of water at eventide, the time the women fare forth to bail it. <sup>12</sup> And saying is he, "Yahweh, Elohim of my lord Abraham, pray, cause a meeting before me today, and do a kindness to my lord Abraham. <sup>13</sup> Behold! I am stationed at this spring of water, and the daughters of the mortals of the city will fare forth to bail water. <sup>14</sup> And comes it that the maiden to whom I will say, `Pray stretch out your jar and give me a drink,' says to me, `Drink. And moreover, your camels also will I give to drink till they should finish drinking', that her You do find correct for Your servant, for Isaac, and by it will I know that You do a kindness to my lord Abraham. <sup>15</sup> And coming is it, ere he finishes speaking in his heart, that behold! Rebecca is faring forth, who was born to Bethuel, the son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham's brother, and her jar is on her shoulder. <sup>16</sup> And the maiden is of exceedingly good appearance, a virgin, and not a man had known her. And down is she going to the spring, and is filling her jar and is coming up. <sup>17</sup> And running is the servant to meet her, and is saying, "Pray, let me sup a little water from your jar. <sup>18</sup> And saying is she, "Drink, my lord.And hastening is she and is letting down her jar on her hand and giving him to drink. <sup>19</sup> And finishing is she giving him to drink and is saying, "Moreover, for your camels will I bail till they should finish drinking. <sup>20</sup> And hastening is she and emptying her jar into the drinking basin, and running again to the well to bail. And bailing is she for all his camels. <sup>21</sup> And the man is in a tumult over her, and silent, to know if Yahweh prospers his way or not? <sup>22</sup> And coming is it, as the camels finish drinking, taking is the man a pendant of gold, its weight a bekah, and is placing it on her nose, and two bracelets on her hands of ten gold shekels' weight. <sup>23</sup> And he inquires of her and is saying, "Whose daughter are you? Tell me, pray. Forsooth, in the house of your father, is there place for us to lodge? <sup>24</sup> And saying is she to him, "A daughter am I of Bethuel, the son of Milcah, whom she bore for Nahor. <sup>25</sup> And saying is she to him, "Moreover, crushed straw and provender there is much with us, and, moreover, a place to lodge. <sup>26</sup> And bowing is the man his head and worshiping Yahweh. <sup>27</sup> And saying is he, "Blessed be Yahweh, Elohim of my lord Abraham, Who does not forsake His kindness and His truth with my lord Abraham. I am on the right way. Guided me has Yahweh to the house of my lord's brothers. <sup>28</sup> And running is the maiden and telling her mother's household as to these matters. <sup>29</sup> And Rebecca has a brother, and his name is Laban. And running is Laban to the man outside at the spring. <sup>30</sup> And coming is it, as he sees the pendant, and the bracelets on his sister's hands, and as he hears the words of Rebecca, his sister, saying, "Thus spoke the man to me,that coming is he to the man. And behold! Standing is he with the camels at the spring. <sup>31</sup> And saying is he to him, "Come, blessed of Yahweh! Why are you standing outside when I have prepared a surface in the house and a place for the camels? <sup>32</sup> And coming is the man into the house. Yet, unloosening is he the camels' girths and giving crushed straw and provender to the camels, and water to wash his feet and the feet of the mortals who are with him. <sup>33</sup> And placing is he bread before him to eat. Yet saying is he, "Not eat will I till I should speak my word.And saying is he, "Speak. <sup>34</sup> And saying is he, "A servant of Abraham am I. <sup>35</sup> And Yahweh has blessed my lord exceedingly, and he is growing great, and He is giving to him a flock and a herd and silver and gold and servants and maids and camels and asses. <sup>36</sup> And Sarah, the wife of my lord, bore one son for my lord after she was old. And give will he to him all that he has. <sup>37</sup> And adjuring me is my lord saying, `You shall not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanite, in whose land I dwell, ³⁸ for you should go to the household of my father, and to my family, and take a wife for my son thence.. ³⁹ And saying am I to my lord, `Perhaps the woman will not go after me.. <sup>40</sup> And saying is he to me, `Yahweh Elohim, before Whom I walk, He will send His messenger with you and prosper your way. And take shall you a wife for my son from my family, and from the household of my father. ⁴¹ Then you shall be innocent from my oath of imprecation. For come shall you to my family, and should they not give to you, then you shall be innocent from my oath of imprecation.. ⁴² And coming am I today to the spring. "And saying am I, `Yahweh, Elohim of my lord Abraham, pray, shouldst You, forsooth, be prospering my way on which I am now going, <sup>43</sup> behold! I am stationed at the spring of water where the daughters of the mortals of the city will fare forth to bail water. And comes it that the damsel is faring forth to bail, and I say to her, "Pray give me a little water to drink from your jar, <sup>44</sup> and she says to me, "You drink, and, moreover, for your camels will I bail,she is the woman whom Yahweh finds correct for Isaac, the son of my lord, and by this will I know that You do a kindness to my lord Abraham.. <sup>45</sup> Ere I am finishing speaking in my heart, behold! Rebecca is faring forth, and her jar is on her shoulder, and down is she going to the spring and is bailing. "And saying am I to her, `Give me a little water to drink, pray, from your jar.. ⁴⁶ And hastening is she and letting down her jar on her hand and is saying, `Drink. And, moreover, your camels will I give a drink.' And drinking am I, and, moreover, she gives the camels a drink. <sup>47</sup> And asking her am I and saying, `Whose daughter are you?' And saying is she, `A daughter of Bethuel, son of Nahor, whom Milcah bore for him.' And placing am I the pendant on her nose and the bracelets on her hands. ⁴⁸ And bowing my head am I and worshiping Yahweh, and blessing Yahweh, Elohim of my lord Abraham, Who guides me in the way of truth, to take the daughter of my lord's brother for his son. ⁴⁹ And now, if you, forsooth, deal in kindness and truth with my lord, tell me. And if not, tell me, and I will face to the right or to the left. ⁵⁰ And answering are Laban and Bethuel and saying, "From Yahweh fares forth this matter. We cannot speak to you evil or good. ⁵¹ Behold! Rebecca is before you. Take her and go, and she shall become the wife of your lord's son, as Yahweh speaks. ⁵² And coming is it, as Abraham's servant hears their words, that he is prostrating to the earth to Yahweh. ⁵³ And forth is the servant bringing articles of silver and articles of gold and clothes, and is giving them to Rebecca. And token presents he gives to her brother and her mother. ⁵⁴ And eating are they and drinking, he and the mortals who are with him, and lodging. And rising are they in the morning, and saying is he, "Send me, and I will go to my lord. ⁵⁵ And saying are her brothers and her mother, "The maiden shall dwell with us two days or ten. And afterward she shall go. ⁵⁶ And saying is he to them, "You must not delay me when Yahweh prospers my way. Send me, and I will go to my lord. ⁵⁷ And saying are they, "We will call the maiden and ask at her mouth. ⁵⁸ And calling are they Rebecca and saying to her, "Will you go with this man?And saying is she, "I will go. ⁵⁹ And sending are they Rebecca, their sister, and her wet-nurse, and Abraham's servant and his mortals. ⁶⁰ And blessing are they Rebecca, their sister, and saying to her, "Our sister are you. May you become thousands of myriads, and may your seed tenant the gateway of those hating them. ⁶¹ And rising is Rebecca and her maidens, and they are riding on camels, and are going after the man. And taking is the servant Rebecca and is going. ⁶² Now Isaac comes into the wilderness, to the well Lehirai. And dwelling is he in the land of the south-rim. ⁶³ And forth is Isaac faring to worship in the field before the evening. And lifting is he his eyes and seeing. And behold! Camels are coming. ⁶⁴ And lifting is Rebecca her eyes and is seeing Isaac and is alighting off the camel. ⁶⁵ And saying is she to the servant, "What man is this going in the field to meet us?And saying is the servant, "He is my lord.And taking is she a veil and covering herself. ⁶⁶ And relating is the servant to Isaac all the things which he had done. ⁶⁷ And bringing her is Isaac to the tent of Sarah, his mother. And taking is he Rebecca, and becoming is she his wife, and he is loving her. And comforted is Isaac after the loss of his mother, Sarah.

² And make you will I into a great nation, and bless you will I and make your name great, and become must you a blessing.

² And Abram is very heavy in cattle, in silver, and in gold.

¹¹ Now Abraham and Sarah are old, coming into days. It had left off to come to Sarah, according to the path of women.

⁵ And Abraham is a hundred years of age when his son Isaac is born to him.

³⁵ And Yahweh has blessed my lord exceedingly, and he is growing great, and He is giving to him a flock and a herd and silver and gold and servants and maids and camels and asses.

²⁰ And coming is Isaac to be forty years of age at his taking Rebecca, the daughter of Bethuel, the Syrian of Padan, Syria, the sister of Laban the Syrian, for his wife.

²⁵ from the El of your father, and your Helper, and He Who-Suffices, and your Blesser, blessings of the heavens from above, blessings of the submerged chaos reclining beneath, blessings of the breasts and the womb,

¹ And king David [is] old, entering into days, and they cover him with garments, and he has no heat,

¹ {Praise Yah{ Happy is the man who fears Yahweh; In His instructions he very much delights. ² His seed shall become masterful in the land; The generation of the upright, it shall be blessed." ³ Wealth and riches are in his house, And his righteousness is standing into the future."

²² The blessing of Yahweh, it enriches, And He shall not add grief to it."

² Look to Abraham, your forefather, and to Sarah, who travailed with you, for one was he when I called him and blessed him, and I loved him and will increase him."

³³ Yet seek first the kingdom and its righteousness, and these all shall be added to you."

⁷ And no child was theirs, forasmuch as Elizabeth was barren, and both were advanced in their days."

⁹ So that those of faith are being blessed together with believing Abraham.

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who blesses us with every spiritual blessing among the celestials, in Christ,

⁸ for bodily exercise is beneficial for a few things, yet devoutness is beneficial for all, having promise for the life which now is, and that which is impending."

² And saying is Abram, "My Lord Yahweh, what are You giving to me, when I am going heirless, and the son running about my house, he is Damascus Eliezer?

⁹ And placing is the servant his hand under the thigh of Abraham, his lord, and is swearing to him on account of this matter. ¹⁰ And taking is the servant ten camels from the camels of his lord, and is going. And all manner of good things of his lord are in his hand. And rising is he and going to Syria of the streams, to the city of Nahor.

⁴ And finding is Joseph grace in the eyes of his lord, and ministering is he to him. And making him is he supervisor over his household, and all, forsooth, which is his he gives into Joseph's hand. ⁵ And coming is it, since he makes him supervisor in his house and over all, forsooth, that is his, that Yahweh is blessing the Egyptian's household due to Joseph, and coming is Yahweh's blessing to be over all, forsooth, which is his, in the house and in the field. ⁶ And leaving is he all that is his in the hand of Joseph. And naught knows he of his, save the bread which he is eating. And coming is Joseph to have a lovely shape and a lovely appearance.

⁸ And refusing is he, and saying to his lord's wife, "Behold! My lord knows naught of me in the house, and all, forsooth, that is his he gives into my hand. ⁹ No one is greater in this house than I, and he has not kept back aught from me save you, in that you are his wife. And how shall I do this great evil and sin against the Elohim?

¹ And instructing is Joseph him who is over his household, saying, "Fill the bags of the mortals with food, as much as they can lift, and place the money of each man in the mouth of his bag.

²⁹ And near are drawing the days of Israel's death, and he is calling his son Joseph and is saying to him, "Pray, should I find grace in your eyes, pray place your hand under my thigh and pray deal with me in kindness and truth. Pray, you must not entomb me in Egypt.

²⁴ and all the heads, and the mighty men, and also all the sons of king David have given a hand under Solomon the king;"

¹⁷ Let elders who have presided ideally be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who are toiling in word and teaching,

² And seeing are sons of the elohim the daughters of the human, that they are good, and taking are they for themselves wives of all whom they choose.

⁴ Now the distinguished come to be in the earth in those days, and, moreover, afterward, coming are those who are sons of the elohim to the daughters of the human, and they bear for them. They are the masters, who are from the eon, mortals with the name.

¹⁵ And Canaan generates Sidon, his firstborn, and Het. ¹⁶ and the Jebusite and the Amorite and the Girgashite ¹⁷ and the Hivite and the Arkite and the Sinite ¹⁸ and the Arvadite and the Zemarite and the Hamathite. And afterwards the families of the Canaanite are scattered. ¹⁹ And coming is the boundary of the Canaanite to be from Sidon, as you come toward Gerar unto Gaza, as you come toward Sodom and Gomorrah and Admah and Zebolim, unto Lasha.

¹⁹ And he is a priest for the El Supreme. And blessing is he Abram, and is saying, "Blessed is Abram by the El Supreme, Owner of the heavens and the earth.

²² And saying is Abram to the king of Sodom, "High hold I my hand to swear to Yahweh, the El Supreme, Owner of the heavens and the earth.

²³ And now, swear to me by the Elohim. Behold! Should you be false to me and to my propagator and to my progeny--! According to the kindness which I do to you shall you do with me, and with the land in which you sojourn.

²⁸ And saying are they, "We see, yea, see that Yahweh has come to be with you, and we are saying, `Let there come, pray, an oath of imprecation between us, between us and you, and contract will we a covenant with you. ²⁹ Should you do to us evil, when we do not touch you, and when we do to you but good, and send you away in peace?' You are now the blessed of Yahweh. ³⁰ And making is he for them a feast, and eating are they and drinking. ³¹ And rising early are they in the morning, and swearing are they, a man to his brother. And sending them away is Isaac. And they are going from him in peace.

³⁴ And coming is Esau to be forty years old when he is taking as wife Judith, the daughter of Beeri, the Hittite, and Bashemath, the daughter of Elon, the Hivite. ³⁵ And coming are they to be a bitterness of spirit to Isaac and Rebecca.

⁴⁶ And saying is Rebecca to Isaac, "Irritated am I in my life because of the presence of the daughters of the sons of Heth. Should Jacob take a wife such as these from the daughters of Heth, from the daughters of the land, what has life for me?

⁸ And seeing is Esau that evil are the daughters of Canaan in the eyes of Isaac, his father.

⁴⁴ Yet now, go. Contract will we a covenant, I and you, and it will become a witness between me and you.And saying is he to him, "Behold! No one is with us. Behold! The Elohim is Witness between me and you. ⁴⁵ And taking is Jacob a stone and is raising it for a monument. ⁴⁶ And saying is Jacob to his brethren, "Pick up stones.And they are picking up stones and making a mound. And eating are they and drinking there on the mound. And saying to him is Laban, "This mound is witness between me and you today. ⁴⁷ And calling it is Laban Igr-shedutha. And Jacob calls it Galeed. ⁴⁸ And saying is Laban to Jacob, "Behold! This mound and this monument which I raised, is witness between me and you today. ⁴⁹ Therefore he calls its name Galeed and the Mizpah which says: "Watching is Yahweh between me and you, when we are concealed, each man from his associate. ⁵⁰ Should you humiliate my daughters, and should you take wives over my daughters, then not a man is with us. See! The Elohim is Witness between me and you. ⁵¹ And saying is Laban to Jacob, "Behold this mound! And behold the monument which I aim to be between me and you. ⁵² Witness is this mound, and witness is the monument, that I should not be passing this mound to you, and you should not be passing this mound and this monument to me, for evil!" ⁵³ The Elohim of Abraham and the Elohim of Nahor, the Elohim of the forefathers, shall judge between us.And swearing is Jacob by the Awe of his father Isaac.

²⁵ And adjuring is Joseph the sons of Israel saying, "Visit, yea, visit you will the Elohim, and up shall you bring my bones with you.

⁷ You shall not take up the name of Yahweh your Elohim for futility, for Yahweh shall not hold innocent him who takes up His name for futility.

¹¹ the oath of Yahweh shall come to be between them both to show whether or not he has put forth his hand on the property of his associate; then its possessor will take it, and he shall not repay.

¹³ You shall beware in all that I say to you. And the name of other elohim you shall not mention; nor let it be heard coming out of your mouth.

¹⁶ If you would take of his daughters for your sons and give your daughters to their sons, then his daughters would prostitute after their elohim and cause your sons to prostitute after their elohim.

¹² And you shall not swear by My name falsely and so profane the name of your Elohim:I am Yahweh.

²¹ (thus the priest will adjure the woman with the oath of imprecation, and the priest will say to the woman:) Yahweh shall set you as an imprecation and an oath in the midst of your people when Yahweh makes your thigh fall away and your belly turgid.

¹³ Yahweh your Elohim shall you fear, and Him only shall you serve, and to Him shall you cling, and by His name shall you swear.

³ nor shall you intermarry with them. You shall not give your daughter to his son, and you shall not take his daughter for your son. ⁴ For it might take away your son from following after Me, and they might serve other elohim, and the anger of Yahweh would grow hot against you, and He would exterminate you quickly.

²⁰ Yahweh your Elohim shall you fear, and Him shall you serve; to Him shall you cling, and by His name shall you swear.

¹² `And now, swear you, I pray you, to me by Yahweh--because I have done with you kindness--that you have done, even you, kindness with the house of my father, and have given to me a true token,

¹⁷ and Jonathan adds to cause David to swear, because he loves him, for with the love of his own soul he has loved him.

¹⁵ And Hezekiah prays before Yahweh, and said, `O Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, inhabiting the cherubs, You [are] Elohim Himself--Yourself alone--to all the kingdoms of the earth:You have made the heavens and the earth.

¹² And Huram said, `Blessed [is] Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, who made the heavens and the earth, who has given to David the king a wise son, knowing wisdom and understanding, who does build a house for Yahweh, and a house for his kingdom.

⁶ You [are] He, O Yahweh, Yourself--You have made the heavens, the heavens of the heavens, and all their host, the earth and all that [are] on it, the seas and all that [are] in them, and You are keeping all of them alive, and the host of the heavens to You are bowing themselves.

²⁵ And I strive with them, and declare them vile, and smite certain of them, and pluck off their hair, and cause them to swear by Elohim, `You do not give your daughters to their sons, nor do you take of their daughters to your sons, and to yourselves.

¹⁵ Blessed be you by Yahweh, Maker of the heavens and earth."

²³ By Myself I swear. From My mouth fares forth righteousness, and My word shall not be recalled. For to Me shall bow every knee, and every tongue shall acclaim to Elohim."

¹ Hear this, house of Jacob, called by the name of Israel, and those who from the waters of Judah fare forth, those swearing by the name of Yahweh, and the Elohim of Israel are mentioning, not in truth, and not in righteousness,

¹⁶ The one blessing himself in the land, shall bless himself by the Elohim of truth, and the one swearing in the land, shall swear by the Elohim of truth. "For forgotten are the former distresses, for they are concealed also from My eyes."

² And you have sworn--Yahweh lives, In truth, in judgment, and in righteousness, And blessed themselves in Him have nations, And in Him they boast themselves."

¹¹ Thus do you say to them, The elohims Who the heavens and earth have not made, They do perish from the earth, And from under these heavens."

¹⁶ And it has come to pass, If they learn well the ways of My people, To swear by My name, `Yahweh lives,' As they taught My people to swear by Baal, Then they have been built up in the midst of My people."

⁵ and those worshiping on the house tops to the host of the heavens, and those worshiping--swearing to Yahweh and swearing by their king,

³⁹ A wife is bound by law for whatever time her husband is living. Yet if the husband should be reposing, she is free to be married to whom she will, only in the Lord."

¹⁴ Do not become diversely yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness? Or what communion has light with darkness? ¹⁵ Now what agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what part a believer with an unbeliever? ¹⁶ Now what concurrence has a temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God, according as God said, that I will be making My home and will be walking in them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people." ¹⁷ Wherefore, Come out of their midst and be severed, the Lord is saying. And touch not the unclean, and I will admit you,

¹⁶ For men are swearing by a greater, and to them an oath for confirmation is an end of all contradiction,

²⁵ And living is Nahor after his begetting Terah a hundred and twenty-nine years. And begetting is he sons and daughters. And he died.

⁷ And appearing is Yahweh to Abram and is saying to him, "To your seed am I giving this land.And building is Abram there an altar to Yahweh, Who appeared to him.

²⁰ And coming is it, after these things, that it is being told to Abraham, saying, "Behold! Milcah, she, moreover, bears sons for Nahor, your brother, ²¹ Uz, his firstborn, and Buz, his brother, and Kemuel, the father of Aram, ²² and Chesed and Hazu and Pildash and Jidlaph and Bethuel. ²³ And Bethuel generates Rebecca. These eight sons Milcah bears for Nahor, the brother of Abraham.

² Rise, go to Padan, Syria, the home of Bethuel, your mother's father and take for yourself thence a wife, from the daughters of Laban, the brother of your mother.

⁵⁸ And calling are they Rebecca and saying to her, "Will you go with this man?And saying is she, "I will go.

² For if you refuse to dismiss them, and you still are holding fast to them,

¹⁶ Every prudent man acts with knowledge, Yet the stupid one spreads folly."

¹ For freedom Christ frees us! Stand firm, then, and be not again enthralled with the yoke of slavery."

³⁹ Yet we are not of those shrinking back to destruction, but of faith for the procuring of the soul."

⁹ By faith he sojourns in the land of promise as in an alien land, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the joint enjoyers of the allotment of the same promise. "

¹³ In faith died all these, not being requited with the promises, but perceiving them ahead and saluting them, and avowing that they are strangers and expatriates on the earth. " ¹⁴ For those who are saying such things are disclosing that they are seeking for a country of their own. ¹⁵ And, if, indeed, they remembered that from which they came out, they might have had occasion to go back." ¹⁶ Yet now they are craving a better, that is, a celestial; wherefore God is not ashamed of them, to be invoked as their God, for He makes ready for them a city."

²⁰ For if, while fleeing from the defilements of the world by the recognition of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, yet, being again involved in these, they are being discomfited, their last state has become worse than the first." ²¹ For it were better for them not to have recognized the way of righteousness, than, recognizing it, to go back to what was behind, from the holy precept given over to them." ²² Now that in the true proverb has befallen them: "A cur turning to its own vomit,and "A bathed sow to her wallowing in the mire."

¹ Now saying is Yahweh to Abram, "Go you from your land and from your kindred and from your father's house to the land which I shall show you. ² And make you will I into a great nation, and bless you will I and make your name great, and become must you a blessing. ³ And bless those will I who bless you, and those making light of you will I curse. And blessed in you and in your seed are all the families of the ground. ⁴ And going is Abram as Yahweh speaks to him. And going with him is Lot. And Abram was seventy-five years of age when he fares forth from Charan. ⁵ And taking is Abram Sarai, his wife, and Lot, his brother's son, and all their goods which they got, and every soul which they make their own in Charan, and forth are they faring to go toward the land of Canaan. And coming are they to the land of Canaan. ⁶ And passing is Abram into the land as far as the place of Shechem, as far as the high oak. And the Canaanite is then dwelling in the land. ⁷ And appearing is Yahweh to Abram and is saying to him, "To your seed am I giving this land.And building is Abram there an altar to Yahweh, Who appeared to him.

¹⁵ for all the land which you are seeing, to you am I giving it, and to your seed, till the eon.

¹⁸ In that day Yahweh contracted a covenant with Abram, saying, "To your seed I give this land, from the stream of Egypt as far as the great stream, the stream Euphrates,

⁸ And I give to you and to your seed after you the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for a holding eonian. And I become their Elohim.

¹⁶ By Myself I swear, averring is Yahweh, that, because you have done this thing and have not kept back your son, your only one, from Me, ¹⁷ that, blessing, yea, blessing you am I, and increasing, yea, increasing your seed am I as the stars of the heavens and as the sand which is on the sea shore. And your seed shall tenant the gateway of its enemies, ¹⁸ and blessed, in your seed, shall be all the nations of the earth, inasmuch as you hearken to My voice.

³ Sojourn in this land, and I come to be with you and will bless you. For to you and to your seed will I give all these lands, and carry out will I the oath which I swore to Abraham, your father. ⁴ And increase will I your seed as the stars of the heavens, and give will I to your seed all these lands. And blessed, in your seed, are all the nations of the earth,

²⁴ And appearing to him is Yahweh in that night, and saying, "I am the Elohim of Abraham your father. You must not fear, for with you am I. And bless you will I, and increase will I your seed for the sake of Abraham your father, My servant.

⁵ It will come to be when Yahweh your Elohim shall have brought you to the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Girgashite, the Hivite and the Jebusite about which He swore to your fathers to give to you, a land gushing with milk and honey, then you will serve with this service in this month.

²⁰ Behold, I shall be sending a messenger before you to keep you in the way and to bring you to the place which I have prepared. ²¹ Guard yourself in view of him and hear his voice. Do not embitter him, for he shall not bear with your transgression, for My name is within him. ²² In case you should hearken, yea hearken to his voice and do all that I am speaking, then I will be Enemy of your enemies and will be Foe of your foes. ²³ For My messenger shall go before you and will bring you to the Amorite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Canaanite, the Gergashite, the Hivite and the Jebusite, and I will suppress them.

¹³ Remember Abraham, Isaac and Israel, Your servants to whom You swore by Yourself. You spoke to them, saying: I shall increase your seed as the stars of the heavens, and all this land, as I have said, I shall give it to your seed, and they will gain it as an allotment for the eon.

² And I will send before you My messenger. I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Hivite and the Jebusite.

¹⁶ Because Yahweh was unable to bring this people to the land about which He had sworn to them, He slew them in the wilderness.

³⁰ you yourselves shall assuredly not come into the land in which I lifted My hand to tabernacle you, none save Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.

¹¹ Assuredly no one of the men coming up from Egypt, from twenty years old and upward shall see the ground about which I had sworn to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob! For they have not fully followed after M.

⁸ See! I have set the land before you. Enter and tenant the land about which Yahweh had sworn to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob, to give to them and to their seed after them.

⁴ Then Yahweh said to him:This is the land about which I had sworn to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob, saying, To your seed shall I give it. I have let you see it with your eyes, yet you shall not cross over there.

⁶ be strong and courageous, for you--you do cause this people to inherit the land which I have sworn to their fathers to give to them.

¹ And a messenger of Yahweh goes up from Gilgal unto Bochim,

² Thus speaks Cyrus king of Persia:Yahweh Elohim of the heavens has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and He Himself has committed to me to build for Him a House in Jerusalem, which is in Judah.

⁸ You said, I shall make you contemplate, And direct you in the way that you should go; I will give counsel with My eye upon you."

⁷ The messenger of Yahweh is encamping around those fearing Him, And He shall liberate them."

²⁴ By Your counsel are You guiding me, And afterward You shall take me into glory."

²⁰ Bless Yahweh, all His messengers, Masters of valor, doing His word, So as to hearken to the voice of His word!"

⁵ Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, And do not lean to your own understanding." ⁶ In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He Himself shall straighten your paths."

⁹ in all their distress He is not a foe, not an agent or a messenger, but His presence saved them. In His love, and by His sparing, He, He redeems them, and He will transport and assist them all the days of the eon."

⁴⁴ In their days, that is, of these kings, the Eloah of the heavens will set up a kingdom that for the eons shall not come to harm. His kingdom shall not be left to another people. It will pulverize and terminate all these kingdoms, and it shall be confirmed for the eons."

⁹ And he is saying to them, a Hebrew am I, and I fear Yahweh, the Elohim of the heavens, Who made the sea and the dry land."

⁵ And He does not give him any allotment to enjoy in it, nor even a platform for a foot. "And He promises to give it to him for a tenure and to his seed after him, there being no child of his."

¹⁴ Are they not all ministering spirits commissioned for service because of those who are about to be enjoying the allotment of salvation?

¹³ And in that hour occurred a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city falls, and there were seven thousand names of the men killed in the earthquake. And the rest became affrighted and give glory to the God of heaven."

⁴ for to my land whence I came, and to my kindred should you go, and take a wife for my son, for Isaac, thence. ⁵ And saying to him is the servant, "Perhaps the woman will not be willing to go after me to this land. Shall I restore, yea restore your son to the land whence you fared forth? ⁶ And saying to him is Abraham, "Beware you, lest you restore my son thither!"

⁵ Yet if her father repudiates her vow on the day he hears about it, all her vows and her bonds which she has bound on her soul shall not be confirmed, and Yahweh will pardon her, seeing that her father repudiated her act.

⁸ Yet if, on the day her husband hears about it, he repudiates her act, then he annuls her vow which is on her or the talk of her lips which she has bound on her soul, and Yahweh shall pardon her.

¹⁷ And the men say unto her, `We are acquitted of this your oath which you have caused us to swear. ¹⁸ lo, we are coming into the land, this line of scarlet thread you do bind to the window by which you have caused us to go down, and your father, and your mother, and your brethren, and all the house of your father you do gather unto you, to the house;" ¹⁹ and it has been, any one who goes out from the doors of your house without, his blood [is] on his head, and we are innocent; and any one who is with you in the house, his blood [is] on our head, if a hand is on him;" ²⁰ and if you declare this our matter, then we have been acquitted from your oath which you have caused us to swear..

²⁰ this we do to them, and have kept them alive, and wrath is not upon us, because of the oath which we have sworn to them..

³² and you will know the truth, and the truth will be making you free."

² Now he averred, "Men, brethren, and fathers, hear! The God of glory was seen by our father Abraham, being in Mesopotamia, ere he dwelt in Charan,

² And saying is Abraham to his servant, the oldest of his household, the ruler over all that is his, "Pray place your hand under my thigh,

³¹ And taking is Terah Abram, his son, and Lot, the son of Haran, his son's son, and Sarai, his daughter-in-law, wife of Abram, his son, and faring forth is he with them from Ur of the Chaldeans, to go to the land of Canaan. And coming are they as far as Charan, and dwelling there are they.

⁴³ And now, my son, hearken to my voice, and rise, run away by yourself to Syria, to Laban, my brother, to Charan.

¹ And lifting is Jacob his feet and is going toward the land of the sons of the east, to Laban, the son of Bethuel, the Syrian, brother of Rebecca, the mother of Jacob and Esau.

⁴ And saying to them is Jacob, "My brethren, whence are you?And saying are they, "From Charan are we. ⁵ And saying is he to them, "Do you know Laban, the son of Nahor?And saying are they, "We know him.

²² And the chief of the round-house is giving into the hand of Joseph all the prisoners who are in the round-house. And all that is being done there, he comes to be the doer. ²³ Naught is the chief of the round-house prison seeing of all that is in his hand, in that Yahweh is with him, and all that he is doing Yahweh is prospering.

⁴ on the score that they did not succor you with bread and with water along the main road when you came forth from Egypt and that they hired against you Balaam son of Beor, from Pethor, Aram-naharayim, to maledict you.

⁸ And the anger of Yahweh burns against Israel, and He sells them into the hand of Chushan-Rishathaim king of Aram-Naharaim, and the sons of Israel serve Chushan-Rishathaim eight years;" ⁹ and the sons of Israel cry unto Yahweh, and Yahweh raises a saviour to the sons of Israel, and he saves them--Othniel son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother;" ¹⁰ and the Spirit of Yahweh is upon him, and he judges Israel, and goes out to battle, and Yahweh gives unto his hand Chushan-Rishathaim king of Aram, and strong is his hand against Chushan-Rishathaim;"

⁶ And the sons of Ammon see that they have made themselves abhorred by David, and Hanun and the sons of Ammon send a thousand talents of silver, to hire to them, from Aram-Naharaim, and from Aram-Maachah, and from Zobah, chariots and horsemen;"

⁹ Parthians and Medes and Elamites and those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea, as well as Cappadocia, Pontus, and the province of Asia,

¹³ Behold! I am stationed at this spring of water, and the daughters of the mortals of the city will fare forth to bail water. ¹⁴ And comes it that the maiden to whom I will say, `Pray stretch out your jar and give me a drink,' says to me, `Drink. And moreover, your camels also will I give to drink till they should finish drinking', that her You do find correct for Your servant, for Isaac, and by it will I know that You do a kindness to my lord Abraham. ¹⁵ And coming is it, ere he finishes speaking in his heart, that behold! Rebecca is faring forth, who was born to Bethuel, the son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham's brother, and her jar is on her shoulder. ¹⁶ And the maiden is of exceedingly good appearance, a virgin, and not a man had known her. And down is she going to the spring, and is filling her jar and is coming up. ¹⁷ And running is the servant to meet her, and is saying, "Pray, let me sup a little water from your jar. ¹⁸ And saying is she, "Drink, my lord.And hastening is she and is letting down her jar on her hand and giving him to drink. ¹⁹ And finishing is she giving him to drink and is saying, "Moreover, for your camels will I bail till they should finish drinking. ²⁰ And hastening is she and emptying her jar into the drinking basin, and running again to the well to bail. And bailing is she for all his camels.

¹³ And saying is he to him, "My lord knows that the children are tender, and the flock and the herd with unweaned are dependent on me, and, if I trot them one day, then die will all the small cattle. ¹⁴ Pray, pass will my lord before his servant, and I will conduct them carefully, according to the pace of the work which is before me, and to the pace of the children, till I come to my lord to Seir.

¹⁶ Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters, and they came, drew out water and filled the troughs to let their father's flock drink.

¹¹ They are going up in the ascent of the city, and have found young women going out to draw water, and say to them, `Is the seer in this [place]?.

¹⁰ The just man knows the soul's need of even his domestic beast, Yet even the compassions of the wicked are cruel."

⁷ A certain woman of Samaria is coming to draw water. Jesus is saying to her, "Give Me a drink,

¹ After these matters came the word of Yahweh to Abram in a vision, saying, "You must not fear, Abram! I am your Shield, your exceedingly increased Hire.

⁷ And I set up My covenant between Me and you, and your seed after you, for their generations, for a covenant eonian, to become your Elohim and your seed's after you. ⁸ And I give to you and to your seed after you the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for a holding eonian. And I become their Elohim.

²⁷ And saying is he, "Blessed be Yahweh, Elohim of my lord Abraham, Who does not forsake His kindness and His truth with my lord Abraham. I am on the right way. Guided me has Yahweh to the house of my lord's brothers.

⁴² And coming am I today to the spring. "And saying am I, `Yahweh, Elohim of my lord Abraham, pray, shouldst You, forsooth, be prospering my way on which I am now going,

⁴⁸ And bowing my head am I and worshiping Yahweh, and blessing Yahweh, Elohim of my lord Abraham, Who guides me in the way of truth, to take the daughter of my lord's brother for his son.

¹⁰ And you shall bring them to your father, and eat will he, in order that your father may bless you before his death.

²⁰ And saying is Isaac to his son, "What is this? You hasted to find it, my son!"And saying is he, "For Yahweh, your Elohim, caused it to happen before me.

¹³ And behold! Yahweh is stationed on it. And saying is He, "I am Yahweh, the Elohim of Abraham, your forefather, and the Elohim of Isaac. Do not fear. The land on which you are lying, to you will I give it, and to your seed.

⁴² Unless the Elohim of my father, the Elohim of Abraham, and the Awe of Isaac had come to be with me, then now you would have sent me away empty-handed. The humiliation and the weariness of my palms the Elohim sees, and correcting you was He yesternight.

⁹ And saying is Jacob, "Elohim of my forefather Abraham and Elohim of my father Isaac, Yahweh Who said to me, `Return to your land and to your kindred and I will do good to you..

¹⁴ And the El-Who-Suffices give you compassion before the man, so that he lets your other brother and Benjamin go! And I, as I am bereaved, am I bereaved!"

⁶ And He said: I am the Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Isaac and the Elohim of Jacob. Now Moses concealed his face, for he feared to look toward the One, Elohim.

¹⁵ And Elohim said further to Moses: Thus shall you say to the sons of Israel, Yahweh, the Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Isaac and the Elohim of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name for the eon, and this the remembrance of Me for generation after generation.

³⁶ And it comes to pass, at the going up of the [evening -]present, that Elijah the prophet comes nigh and said, `Yahweh, Elohim of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, to-day let it be known that You [are] Elohim in Israel, and I Your servant, that by Your word I have done the whole of these things;"

¹⁴ and he takes the robe of Elijah that fell from off him, and smites the waters, and said, `Where [is] Yahweh, Elohim of Elijah--even He?' and he smites the waters, and they are halved, hither and thither, and Elisha passes over.

¹¹ `I beseech You, O Lord, let, I pray You, Your ear be attentive unto the prayer of Your servant, and unto the prayer of Your servants, those delighting to fear Your Name; and give prosperity, I pray You, to Your servant to-day, and give him for mercies before this man;' and I have been butler to the king.

⁴ And the king said to me, `For what are you seeking?' and I pray unto the Elohim of the heavens,

⁵ Hand over your way to Yahweh; Trust Him, and He shall do it."

¹⁶ May Your deeds be seen by Your servants, And Your honor by their sons." ¹⁷ Let the pleasantness of Yahweh our Elohim be over us; Do establish the work of our hands for us; Yea, the work of our hands, do establish it."

²⁵ Oh Yahweh, do save us! Oh Yahweh, do prosper us!"

⁶ Ask for Jerusalem's well-being; May those loving you be at ease.

¹⁰ night and day superexcessively beseeching to see your face and to adjust the deficiencies of your faith? ¹¹ Now may our God and Father Himself, and our Lord Jesus, be directing our way to you! "

¹¹ And causing is he the camels to kneel outside the city at a well of water at eventide, the time the women fare forth to bail it.

⁴³ behold! I am stationed at the spring of water where the daughters of the mortals of the city will fare forth to bail water. And comes it that the damsel is faring forth to bail, and I say to her, "Pray give me a little water to drink from your jar,

⁹ At his still speaking with them, Rachel, the daughter of Laban, comes with the flock which is her father's, for the grazier is she of her father's flock. ¹⁰ And coming is it, as Jacob sees Rachel, the daughter of Laban, his mother's brother, and the flock of Laban, his mother's brother, then close is coming Jacob, and he is rolling the stone off the mouth of the well, and is giving a drink to the flock of Laban, his mother's brother.

¹¹ By the voice of shouters Between the places of drawing water, There they give out righteous acts of Yahweh, Righteous acts of His villages in Israel, Then ruled in the gates have the people of Yahweh.

⁸ And saying is he, "My Lord Yahweh, whereby am I to know that I am to enjoy its tenancy?

⁴⁴ and she says to me, "You drink, and, moreover, for your camels will I bail,she is the woman whom Yahweh finds correct for Isaac, the son of my lord, and by this will I know that You do a kindness to my lord Abraham..

¹ Then Moses answered and said: Yet behold, they shall not believe me, nor shall they hearken to my voice, for they shall say, Yahweh has not appeared to you. ² Now Yahweh said to him: What is this in your hand? And he answered: A rod. ³ Then He said: Fling it to the earth. So he flung it to the earth, and it became a serpent. And Moses fled from its presence. ⁴ Then Yahweh said to Moses: Put forth your hand and take hold of its tail (so he put forth his hand and held fast to it, and it became a rod in his palm. ⁵ that they may believe that Yahweh, the Elohim of their fathers, appeared to you, the Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Isaac and the Elohim of Jacob. ⁶ And Yahweh said to him further: Now bring your hand into your bosom. So he brought his hand into his bosom and brought it forth from his bosom, and behold, his hand was leprous as snow. ⁷ Then He said: Restore your hand to your bosom. So he restored his hand to his bosom and brought it forth from his bosom, and, behold, it was restored as his other flesh. ⁸ Hence it will come to be should they not believe you nor hearken to the voice of the first sign, they may believe the voice of the latter sign. ⁹ Yet it will come to be even should they not believe these two signs, nor hearken to your voice, then you will take some of the water of the waterway and pour it out on the dry land. And the waters which you are taking from the waterway will come to be, yea will come to be blood on the dry land.

¹⁷ And he said unto Him, `If, I pray You, I have found grace in Your eyes, then You have done for me a sign that You are speaking with me.

³⁷ lo, I am placing the fleece of wool in the threshing-floor:if dew is on the fleece alone, and on all the earth drought--then I have known that You do save Israel by my hand, as You have spoken;.

¹³ And Gideon comes in, and lo, a man is recounting to his companion a dream, and said, `Lo, a dream I have dreamed, and lo, a cake of barley-bread is turning itself over into the camp of Midian, and it comes in unto the tent, and smites it, and it falls, and turns it upwards, and the tent has fallen.. <sup>14</sup> And his companion answers and said, `This is nothing save the sword of Gideon son of Joash, a man of Israel; Elohim has given into his hand Midian and all the camp.. ¹⁵ And it comes to pass, when Gideon hears the narration of the dream and its interpretation, that he bows himself, and turns back unto the camp of Israel, and said, `Rise you, for Yahweh has given into your hand the camp of Midian..

⁵ And they say to him, `Ask, we pray you, at Elohim, and we know whether our way is prosperous on which we are going..

⁷ `And now, take and make one new cart, and two suckling kine, on which a yoke has not gone up, and you have bound the kine in the cart, and caused their young ones to turn back from after them to the house, ⁸ and you have taken the ark of Yahweh, and put it on the cart, and the vessels of gold which you have returned to Him--a guilt-offering--you put in a coffer on its side, and have sent it away, and it has gone;" ⁹ and you have seen, if the way of its own border it goes up to Beth-Shemesh--He has done to us this great evil; and if not, then we have known that His hand has not come against us; an accident it has been to us..

² In your going to-day from me--then you have found two men by the grave of Rachel, in the border of Benjamin, at Zelzah, and they have said unto you, The asses have been found which you have gone to seek; and lo, your father has left the matter of the asses, and has sorrowed for you, saying, What do I do for my son? ³ `And you have passed on thence, and beyond, and have come in unto the oak of Tabor, and found you there have three men going up unto Elohim to Beth-El, one bearing three kids, and one bearing three cakes of bread, and one bearing a bottle of wine, <sup>4</sup> and they have asked of you of welfare, and given to you two loaves, and you have received from their hand. <sup>5</sup> `Afterwards you do come unto the hill of Elohim, where the garrison of the Philistines [is], and it comes to pass, at your coming in thither to the city, that you have met a band of prophets coming down from the high place, and before them psaltery, and tabret, and pipe, and harp, and they are prophesying;" ⁶ and prospered over you has the Spirit of Yahweh, and you have prophesied with them, and have been turned to another man;" ⁷ and it has been, when these signs come to you--do for yourself as your hand finds, for Elohim [is] with you. ⁸ `And you have gone down before me to Gilgal, and lo, I am going down unto you, to cause to ascend burnt-offerings, to sacrifice sacrifices of peace-offerings; seven days you do wait till my coming in unto you, and I have made known to you that which you do do.. ⁹ And it has been, at his turning his shoulder to go from Samuel, that Elohim turns to him another heart, and all these signs come on that day, ¹⁰ and they come in thither to the height, and lo, a band of prophets--to meet him, and prosper over him does the Spirit of Elohim, and he prophesies in their midst.

⁸ And Jonathan said, `Lo, we are passing over unto the men, and are revealed unto them;" <sup>9</sup> if thus they say unto us, `Stand still till we have come unto you,' then we have stood in our place, and do not go up unto them;" ¹⁰ and if thus they say, `Come up against us,' then we have gone up, for Yahweh has given them into our hand, and this to us [is] the sign.

⁷ If thus he say:Good; peace [is] for your servant; and if it be very displeasing to him--know that the evil has been determined by him;

²⁴ and it comes to pass, in your hearing the sound of a stepping in the tops of the mulberries, then you do move sharply, for then has Yahweh gone out before you to smite in the camp of the Philistines..

⁹ And Joab said to Amasa, `Are you [in] peace, my brother?' and the right hand of Joab lays hold on the beard of Amasa to give a kiss to him;"

⁸ And Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, `What [is] the sign that Yahweh does give healing to me, that I have gone up on the third day to the house of Yahweh?. <sup>9</sup> And Isaiah said, `This [is] to you the sign from Yahweh, that Yahweh does the thing that He has spoken--The shadow has gone on ten degrees, or it does turn back ten degrees?. ¹⁰ And Hezekiah said, `It has been light for the shadow to incline ten degrees:nay, but let the shadow turn backward ten degrees.. ¹¹ And Isaiah the prophet calls unto Yahweh, and He brings back the shadow by the degrees that it had gone down in the degrees of Ahaz--backward ten degrees.

¹⁴ A house and wealth are an allotment from fathers, Yet from Yahweh comes an intelligent wife."

¹¹ Ask for yourself a sign from Yahweh, your Elohim; deepen the asking, or elevate it toward that above."

¹⁰ beseeching, if somehow, sometime, at length I shall be prospered, in the will of God, to come to you."

²⁷ And these are the genealogical annals of Terah: Terah begets Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran begets Lot.

²⁹ And taking are Abram and Nahor to themselves wives. The name of Abram's wife is Sarai, and the name of Nahor's wife is Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah and the father of Iscah.

¹⁴ And early in the morning Abraham is rising, and taking bread and a flask of water and is giving it to Hagar, and places it on her shoulder, with the boy, and is sending her away. And going is she and straying in the wilderness of Beer-sheba.

²⁴ And saying is she to him, "A daughter am I of Bethuel, the son of Milcah, whom she bore for Nahor.

⁴⁵ Ere I am finishing speaking in my heart, behold! Rebecca is faring forth, and her jar is on her shoulder, and down is she going to the spring and is bailing. "And saying am I to her, `Give me a little water to drink, pray, from your jar..

³⁶ And Gideon said unto Elohim, `If You are Saviour of Israel by my hand, as You have spoken, <sup>37</sup> lo, I am placing the fleece of wool in the threshing-floor:if dew is on the fleece alone, and on all the earth drought--then I have known that You do save Israel by my hand, as You have spoken;. <sup>38</sup> and it is so, and he rises early on the morrow, and presses the fleece, and wrings dew out of the fleece--the fulness of the bowl, of water. <sup>39</sup> And Gideon said unto Elohim, `Let not Your anger burn against me, and I speak only this time; let me try, I pray You, only this time with the fleece--let there be, I pray You, drought on the fleece alone, and on all the earth let there be dew.. ⁴⁰ And Elohim does so on that night, and there is drought on the fleece alone, and on all the earth there has been dew.

² Then Ruth the Moabite said to Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and let me glean among the ears of grain behind someone in whose eyes I may find favor. She replied to her, Go, my daughter.

¹⁷ She gleaned in the field until evening. When she beat out what she had gleaned, it was about an ephah of barley.

¹⁵ The eyes of Yahweh are toward the righteous, And His ears are toward their imploring."

² O Hearer of prayer, Unto You all flesh shall come."

¹⁸ Near is Yahweh to all calling on Him, To all who are calling on Him in truth." ¹⁹ Benevolence for those fearing Him is He providing, And their imploring is He hearing and is saving them."

²⁷ She watches over the affairs of her household And does not eat the bread of slothfulness.

⁹ Then you will call, and Yahweh will answer, you will implore, and He will say, "Behold Me!You should take away from your midst the slider bar, and the pointing of the finger and speaking lawlessness,

²⁴ And it comes, ere they are calling, then I will answer; they are still speaking when I will hearken."

²⁰ And while I am speaking-- praying and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel and casting my supplication before Yahweh my Elohim concerning the holy mountain of my Elohim-- ²¹ even while I am speaking in my prayer, behold, the man Gabriel, whom I saw in the vision at the start, flying swiftly, is touching me at the time of the evening approach present." ²² And he is approaching and speaking with me, saying, "Daniel, now I fare forth to give you an intelligent understanding." ²³ At the start of your supplications a word from Yahweh fared forth, and I come to tell you, for a man of coveted qualities are you. "Then understand what is in the word and understand what is in the sight."

¹ And the human knows Eve, his wife, and pregnant is she and is bearing Cain. And saying is she, "I acquire a man, Yahweh!"

⁷ And asking are the mortals of the place as to Rebecca, his wife. And saying is he, "My sister is she.For he fears to say, "My wife is she,lest the mortals of the place kill him on account of Rebecca, for a good appearance has she.

⁶ And leaving is he all that is his in the hand of Joseph. And naught knows he of his, save the bread which he is eating. And coming is Joseph to have a lovely shape and a lovely appearance.

¹⁷ And now, kill every male among the little ones, and every woman having known a man (at bed with a male), kill. ¹⁸ Yet every little one among the womenfolk who have not known bed with a male keep alive for yourselves.

² I was asleep, yet my heart was aroused; The sound of my darling knocking! Open to me, my sister, my dearest, My dove, my flawless one, For my head is filled with night mist, My locks with moisture of the night."

¹ And coming is a famine in the land, aside from the first famine which came in the days of Abraham. And going is Isaac to Abimelech, king of the Philistines, to Gerar. ² And appearing to him is Yahweh and saying, "You must not go down to Egypt. Tabernacle in the land of which I apprize you. ³ Sojourn in this land, and I come to be with you and will bless you. For to you and to your seed will I give all these lands, and carry out will I the oath which I swore to Abraham, your father. ⁴ And increase will I your seed as the stars of the heavens, and give will I to your seed all these lands. And blessed, in your seed, are all the nations of the earth, ⁵ inasmuch as hearken did Abraham, your father, to My voice and kept My charge, My instructions. My statutes, and My laws. ⁶ And dwelling is Isaac in Gerar. ⁷ And asking are the mortals of the place as to Rebecca, his wife. And saying is he, "My sister is she.For he fears to say, "My wife is she,lest the mortals of the place kill him on account of Rebecca, for a good appearance has she. ⁸ And coming is it that his days there are long. And gazing is Abimelech, king of Gerar of the Philistines, through a window, and is seeing, and behold! Isaac is having fun with Rebecca, his wife. ⁹ And calling is Abimelech Isaac and saying to him, "Yea, behold! Your wife is she! And how say you, `My sister is she'?And saying to him is Isaac, that, "I say it lest I die on her account. <sup>10</sup> And saying is Abimelech to him, "What is this you do to us? As if it were a little thing if one of my people lie with your wife and you bring the guilt upon us!" <sup>11</sup> And instructing is Abimelech all his people saying, "Everyone touching this man or his wife shall surely be put to death. <sup>12</sup> And sowing is Isaac in that land and is finding in that year a hundredfold of barley. And blessing him is Yahweh. <sup>13</sup> And great is growing the man. And going is he to go on and grow greater, till he is great exceedingly. <sup>14</sup> And it is coming at his acquiring flocks and acquiring herds and many to serve, that jealous are the Philistines of him. <sup>15</sup> And all the wells which his father's servants had delved in the days of Abraham, his father, the Philistines stop them up, and are filling them with soil. <sup>16</sup> And saying is Abimelech to Isaac, "Go from our people, for you are very much stauncher than we. <sup>17</sup> And going is Isaac thence, and is camping in the watercourse of Gerar, and is dwelling there. <sup>18</sup> And returning is Isaac and delving the wells of water which were delved by servants of Abraham, his father, and the Philistines had stopped them up after the death of Abraham, his father. And calling is he them by names according to the names which Abraham, his father, called them. <sup>19</sup> And delving are the servants of Isaac in the watercourse of Gerar, and finding are they there a well of living water. <sup>20</sup> And contending are the graziers of Gerar with Isaac's graziers saying, "Ours is the water.And calling is he the name of the well Esek, for extortionate show they themselves with him. <sup>21</sup> And shifting is Isaac thence, and delving are they another well. Yet contending are they, moreover, over it. And calling is he its name Sitnah. <sup>22</sup> And shifting is he thence, and delving are they another well. And they do not contend over it. And calling is he its name Rehoboth. And saying is he, "For now Yahweh widens for us, and fruitful are we in the land. <sup>23</sup> And up is he going thence to Beer-sheba. <sup>24</sup> And appearing to him is Yahweh in that night, and saying, "I am the Elohim of Abraham your father. You must not fear, for with you am I. And bless you will I, and increase will I your seed for the sake of Abraham your father, My servant. <sup>25</sup> And building is he an altar there. And calling is he on the name of Yahweh. And stretching out is he his tent there. And digging are the servants of Isaac a well. <sup>26</sup> And Abimelech goes to him from Gerar, with Ahuzzath, his associate, and Phicol, the chief of his host. <sup>27</sup> And saying to them is Isaac, "For what reason do you come to me, when you hate me and you are sending me away from you? <sup>28</sup> And saying are they, "We see, yea, see that Yahweh has come to be with you, and we are saying, `Let there come, pray, an oath of imprecation between us, between us and you, and contract will we a covenant with you. ²⁹ Should you do to us evil, when we do not touch you, and when we do to you but good, and send you away in peace?' You are now the blessed of Yahweh. ³⁰ And making is he for them a feast, and eating are they and drinking. ³¹ And rising early are they in the morning, and swearing are they, a man to his brother. And sending them away is Isaac. And they are going from him in peace. ³² And coming is it on that day, coming also are servants of Isaac. And telling are they him concerning the case of the well which they delve, and are saying to him, "We found water. ³³ And calling is he it Sheba. Therefore the name of the city is Beer-sheba till this day.

¹⁰ And he rises, and goes to Zarephath, and comes in unto the opening of the city, and lo there, a widow woman gathering sticks, and he calls unto her, and said, `Bring, I pray you, to me, a little water in a vessel, and I drink..

¹⁴ Arrive with water to meet the thirsty, dwellers of the land of Tema. Forestall the wanderer with bread for him."

²⁵ And there shall come on every lofty mountain, and on every uplifted hill, rillets, runnels of water, in that day of the vast killing, when the towers fall."

⁶ Then leap as a deer shall the lame, and jubilate shall the tongue of the mute. For rent in the wilderness shall be waters, and watercourses in the gorge shall go." ⁷ And the seared sink becomes a pond, and the thirsty land has fonts of water. In the homestead of jackals shall be a morass, an environ for reed and papyrus."

¹⁷ The humble and the needy are seeking water, yet there is none. Their tongue is benumbed with thirst. I, Yahweh, will respond to them; the Elohim of Israel, I will not forsake them." ¹⁸ I will open up streams on ridges, and in the midst of valleys, springs. I will convert the wilderness into a pond of water, and arid land into vents of water."

¹⁰ They shall not hunger nor thirst, nor will the searing wind and the sun smite them. For the One showing them compassion will lead them, and to fonts of water will He conduct them."

⁹ The Samaritan woman, then, is saying to Him, "How are you, being a Jew, requesting a drink from me, being a Samaritan woman?(For Jews are not beholden to Samaritans.)"

¹⁴ And comes it that the maiden to whom I will say, `Pray stretch out your jar and give me a drink,' says to me, `Drink. And moreover, your camels also will I give to drink till they should finish drinking', that her You do find correct for Your servant, for Isaac, and by it will I know that You do a kindness to my lord Abraham.

²⁶ She opens her mouth with wisdom, And the law of benignity is on her tongue."

⁸ Now the finish; Be all of a like disposition, sympathetic, fond of the brethren, tenderly compassionate, of a humble disposition,

⁸ before all, having earnest love among yourselves, for love is covering a multitude of sins." ⁹ Be hospitable to one another without murmuring.

⁴⁵ Ere I am finishing speaking in my heart, behold! Rebecca is faring forth, and her jar is on her shoulder, and down is she going to the spring and is bailing. "And saying am I to her, `Give me a little water to drink, pray, from your jar.. <sup>46</sup> And hastening is she and letting down her jar on her hand and is saying, `Drink. And, moreover, your camels will I give a drink.' And drinking am I, and, moreover, she gives the camels a drink.

⁹ Be hospitable to one another without murmuring.

¹² And saying is he, "Yahweh, Elohim of my lord Abraham, pray, cause a meeting before me today, and do a kindness to my lord Abraham.

⁵⁶ And saying is he to them, "You must not delay me when Yahweh prospers my way. Send me, and I will go to my lord.

¹⁸ And king David comes in and sits before Yahweh, and said, `Who [am] I, Lord Yahweh? and what my house, that You have brought me hitherto? ¹⁹ And yet this [is] little in Your eyes, Lord Yahweh, and You do speak also concerning the house of Your servant afar off; and this [is] the law of the Man, Lord Yahweh. ²⁰ And what does David add more to speak unto You? and You, You have known Your servant, Lord Yahweh.

¹ {Davidic{ {When he altered his sanity before Abimelech so that he drove him out, and he went away.{ Let me bless Yahweh in every season; His praise is in my mouth continually." ² In Yahweh my soul boasts; The humbled ones hear and rejoice. ³ Magnify Yahweh with me, And let us exalt His Name together." ⁴ I have sought after Yahweh, and He has answered me, And from all my shrinking fear He has rescued me." ⁵ Look to Him and beam, And do not let your faces be abashed." ⁶ This humbled one called, and Yahweh heard, And from all his distresses, He saved him."

¹⁹ Now Miriam preserved all these declarations, parleying them in her heart."

⁵¹ And He descended with them and came into Nazareth, and was subject to them. And His mother carefully kept all these declarations, parleying them in her own heart."

¹⁵ No lord! Hear me. The land is four hundred shekels of silver. What is that between me and you? Your dead entomb. ¹⁶ And hearkening is Abraham to Ephron. And weighing is Abraham for Ephron the silver of which he spoke in the ears of the sons of Heth, for hundred shekels of silver, passing with the merchant.

³⁰ And coming is it, as he sees the pendant, and the bracelets on his sister's hands, and as he hears the words of Rebecca, his sister, saying, "Thus spoke the man to me,that coming is he to the man. And behold! Standing is he with the camels at the spring.

⁴⁷ And asking her am I and saying, `Whose daughter are you?' And saying is she, `A daughter of Bethuel, son of Nahor, whom Milcah bore for him.' And placing am I the pendant on her nose and the bracelets on her hands.

² Then Aaron said to them: Tear off the pendants of gold which are in the ears of your wives, your sons and your daughters, and bring them to me. ³ So all the people tore off the pendants of gold which were in their ears and brought them to Aaron.

¹ It was on the third day that Esther put on royal clothing and took her stand in the inner court of the king's house, over against the king's house, while the king was sitting on his royal throne in the royal house, over against the portal of the house.

³² Does a virgin forget her ornaments? A bride her bands? And My people have forgotten Me days without number.

¹¹ And I adorn you with adornments, And I give bracelets for your hands, And a chain for your neck." ¹² And I give a ring for your nose, And rings for your ears, And a crown of beauty on your head."

⁹ Similarly, women also are to be adorning themselves in raiment, decorously, with modesty and sanity, not with braids and gold, or pearls or costly vesture, ¹⁰ but (what is becoming to women professing a reverence for God) with good works.

³ whose adornment, let it not be the outside, of braiding aught into the hair and of decking with gold, or putting on of garments,

²⁰ And coming is it, after these things, that it is being told to Abraham, saying, "Behold! Milcah, she, moreover, bears sons for Nahor, your brother,

²³ And Bethuel generates Rebecca. These eight sons Milcah bears for Nahor, the brother of Abraham.

¹⁵ And coming is it, ere he finishes speaking in his heart, that behold! Rebecca is faring forth, who was born to Bethuel, the son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham's brother, and her jar is on her shoulder.

⁴ Let a little water, pray, be taken, and they will wash your feet. And lean back under the tree. ⁵ And I will take a morsel of bread and you shall eat and brace your hearts. And afterward shall you pass on your way, for therefore you pass by your servant.And saying are they, "So be doing as you speak. ⁶ And hastening is Abraham toward the tent to Sarah. And saying is he to her, "Hasten! Three seahs of meal flour knead, and make ember cakes. ⁷ And to the herd runs Abraham, and is taking a young one of the herd, tender and good, and is giving it to the lad. And hastening is he to make it ready. ⁸ And taking is he clotted cream and milk, and the young one of the herd which he had made ready, and he is putting it before them. And he is standing by them under the tree, and eating are they.

¹⁹ and both straw and provender are for our asses, and also bread and wine there are for me, and for your handmaid, and for the young man with your servants; there is no lack of anything.. ²⁰ And the old man said, `Peace to you; only, all your lack [is] on me, only in the broad place lodge not.. ²¹ And he brings him in to his house, and mixes [food] for the asses, and they wash their feet, and eat and drink.

⁸ Yet the patron counsels willingness, and he, in the willingness, is confirmed."

⁵ And saying is Abraham to his lads, "Sit you here with the ass, and I and the lad will go, meanwhile, and we will worship and return to you.

⁵² And coming is it, as Abraham's servant hears their words, that he is prostrating to the earth to Yahweh.

³¹ Hence the people believed; when they heard that Yahweh notices the sons of Israel and that He sees their humiliation, then they bowed their heads and bowed themselves down.

²⁷ Then you will say: It is the sacrifice of passover to Yahweh, Who passed over the houses of the sons of Israel in Egypt, when He struck the Egyptians, yet our households He rescued. So the people bowed their heads and bowed themselves down.

⁸ Then Moses hastened, bowed his head toward the earth, bowed himself down,

²⁰ And David said to all the assembly, `Bless, I pray you, Yahweh your Elohim;' and all the assembly bless Yahweh, Elohim of their fathers, and bow and do obeisance to Yahweh, and to the king.

¹⁸ And Jehoshaphat bows--face to the earth--and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem have fallen before Yahweh, to bow themselves to Yahweh.

³⁰ And Hezekiah the king said, and the princes, to the Levites to give praise to Yahweh in the words of David, and of Asaph the seer, and they praise--unto joy, and they bow, and do obeisance.

⁶ and Ezra blesses Yahweh, the great Elohim, and all the people answer, `Amen, Amen,' with lifting up of their hands, and they bow and do obeisance to Yahweh--faces to the earth.

²⁹ Yea, to Him shall bow down All those about to be sleeping in the earth; Before Him shall crouch All those descending to the soil. And he who did not keep his soul alive--"

⁴ All the earth shall bow down to You and shall make melody to You. They shall make melody to Your Name. {Interlude{

⁹ Before Him His foes shall bow, And His enemies shall lick up the soil."

⁶ Come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before Yahweh, our Maker."

⁶ With what shall I forestall Yahweh, and be bending to my Elohim of the height? Shall I forestall Him with ascent approaches, with calves a year old?

¹⁰ that in the name of Jesus every knee should be bowing, celestial and terrestrial and subterranean,

²⁶ And saying is he, "Blessed be Yahweh, the Elohim of Shem, and Canaan shall become his servant.

⁸ And saying is Abram to Lot, "There must not, pray, come to be contention between me and you, and between my graziers and your graziers, for mortals, brethren are we.

²⁰ And blessed is the El Supreme, Who awards your foes into your hands.And giving is he to him tithes from all.

⁴ for to my land whence I came, and to my kindred should you go, and take a wife for my son, for Isaac, thence.

²¹ And the man is in a tumult over her, and silent, to know if Yahweh prospers his way or not?

¹⁰ Smaller am I than all the kindnesses and than all the truth which You do to Your servant, for with my stick I crossed this Jordan, and now I have become two camps.

¹¹ It came to be in those days when Moses had grown up that he went forth to his brothers and saw their burdens. He also saw an Egyptian man smiting a Hebrew man, one of his brothers.

¹³ When he went forth on the second day, behold two men, Hebrews, were striving with each other. So he said to the wicked one: Why are you smiting your associate?

¹⁰ Hence Jethro said: Blessed be Yahweh Who has rescued you from the hand of Egypt and from the hand of Pharaoh, Who has rescued the people from under the hand of Egypt.

¹⁴ Then the women said to Naomi, Blessed be Yahweh Who has not let your redeemer cease today; may his name be proclaimed in Israel!"

³² And David said to Abigail, `Blessed [is] Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, who has sent you this day to meet me,

³⁹ and David hears that Nabal [is] dead, and said, `Blessed [is] Yahweh who has pleaded the cause of my reproach from the hand of Nabal, and His servant has kept back from evil, and the wickedness of Nabal has Yahweh turned back on his own head;' and David sends and speaks with Abigail, to take her to him for a wife.

²⁸ And Ahimaaz calls and said unto the king, `Peace;' and he bows himself to the king, on his face, to the earth, and said, `Blessed [is] Yahweh your Elohim who has shut up the men who lifted up their hand against my lord the king..

¹⁰ And David blesses Yahweh before the eyes of all the assembly, and David said, `Blessed [are] You, Yahweh, Elohim of Israel our father, from eon even unto eon. <sup>11</sup> To You, O Yahweh, [is] the greatness, and the might, and the beauty, and the victory, and the honor, because of all in the heavens and in the earth; to You, O Yahweh, [is] the kingdom, and he who is lifting up himself over all for head;" <sup>12</sup> and the riches, and the honor [are] from before You, and You are ruling over all, and in Your hand [is] power and might, and in Your hand, to make great, and to give strength to all. <sup>13</sup> `And now, our Elohim, we are giving thanks to You, and giving praise to Your beauteous name;"

¹⁹ Blessed be Yahweh. Day by day shall He lade good upon us, The El of our salvation. {Interlude{ "

¹⁸ Blessed be Yahweh, Elohim, the Elohim of Israel, Doing marvelous works by Himself alone, ¹⁹ And blessed be His glorious Name for the eon! The entire earth shall be filled with His glory! {Amen and Amen.{

³ He has remembered His benignity and His faithfulness to the house of Israel; All the limits of the earth have seen the salvation of our Elohim.

⁵ For Yahweh is good; His benignity is eonian, And His faithfulness unto generation after generation."

¹¹ For in the way of wisdom I direct you; I cause you to tread in routes of uprightness. ¹² When you walk, your steps shall not be constricted, And when you run, you shall not stumble." ¹³ Hold fast to admonition; do not let your hold relax; Preserve her, for she is your life."

²⁰ I walk in the path of righteousness, In the midst of the tracks of right judgment,

²⁰ You wilt render the truth to Jacob, the kindness to Abraham, which You swear to our forefathers from days aforetime."

⁶⁸ Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, For He visits, and makes a redemption for His people,

¹⁷ For the law through Moses was given; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

¹⁷ Now to the King of the eons, the incorruptible, invisible, only, and wise God, be honor and glory for the eons of the eons! Amen!"

⁵⁵ And saying are her brothers and her mother, "The maiden shall dwell with us two days or ten. And afterward she shall go.

⁶⁷ And bringing her is Isaac to the tent of Sarah, his mother. And taking is he Rebecca, and becoming is she his wife, and he is loving her. And comforted is Isaac after the loss of his mother, Sarah.

³³ And coming is Laban into Jacob's tent, and into Leah's tent and into the two maidservant's tent, and does not find them. And forth is he faring from Leah's tent and is coming into Rachel's tent.

⁶⁰ And blessing are they Rebecca, their sister, and saying to her, "Our sister are you. May you become thousands of myriads, and may your seed tenant the gateway of those hating them.

⁵ And saying is he to them, "Do you know Laban, the son of Nahor?And saying are they, "We know him.

¹³ And coming is it, as Laban hears the report of Jacob, his sister's son, running is he also to meet him. And embracing him is he and kissing him, and bringing him to his house. And relating is he to Laban all these things.

²⁹ Should you do to us evil, when we do not touch you, and when we do to you but good, and send you away in peace?' You are now the blessed of Yahweh.

² and he said to his mother, `The eleven hundred silverlings which have been taken of your, and [of which] you have sworn, and also spoken in mine ears; lo, the silver [is] with me, I have taken it;' and his mother said, `Blessed [is] my son of Yahweh..

¹⁰ At that he said, Blessed be you by Yahweh, my daughter! You have shown your latter kindness to be better than the first, in not going at all after the men in their prime, whether poor or rich.

⁸ A bribe is like a stone for favor in the eyes of its grand possessor; Wherever it is present it proceeds effectively.

¹⁶ A man's gift widens the way for him, And guides him before the great."

⁴ Let a little water, pray, be taken, and they will wash your feet. And lean back under the tree.

⁴¹ And she rises and bows herself--face to the earth--and said, `Lo, your handmaid [is] for a maid-servant to wash the feet of the servants of my lord..

⁴⁴ And, being turned to the woman, He averred to Simon, "Are you observing this woman? I entered into your house; water for My feet you do not give, yet she rains tears on My feet and with her hair she wipes them off;"

⁴ is rising from dinner and is laying down His garments, and, getting a cloth, He girds Himself." ⁵ Thereafter He is draining water into the basin, and begins washing the feet of the disciples and wiping them off with the cloth with which He was girded." ⁶ He is coming, then, to Simon Peter. And he is saying to Him, "Lord, Thou art washing my feet!" ⁷ Jesus answered and said to him, "What I am doing you are not aware at present, yet you will know after these things." ⁸ Peter is saying to Him, "Under no circumstances shouldst Thou be washing my feet for the eon!Jesus answered him, "If ever I should not be washing you, you are having no part with Me." ⁹ Simon Peter is saying to Him, "Lord, not my feet only, but the hands also and the head!" ¹⁰ Jesus is saying to him, "He who is bathed has no need, except to wash his feet, but is wholly clean. And you are clean, but not all." ¹¹ For He was aware who is giving Him up. Therefore He said that "Not all of you are clean." ¹² When, then, He washes their feet, and took His garments and leans back again, He said to them, "Do you know what I have done to you? ¹³ You are shouting to Me 'Teacher!' and 'Lord!' and you are saying ideally, for I am." ¹⁴ If, then, I, the Lord and the Teacher, wash your feet, you also ought to be washing one another's feet."

¹⁰ attested by ideal acts: if she nourishes children, if she is hospitable, if she washes the saints' feet, if she relieves the afflicted, if she follows up with every good work."

¹² From the instruction of His lips I do not remove myself; I have secluded in my bosom the sayings of His mouth.

³ I shall assuredly not come into my tent house, Assuredly not go up to the cot of my berth, ⁴ Assuredly not give sleep to my eyes, Or slumber to my eyelids, ⁵ Until I should find a place for Yahweh, A Grand Tabernacle for the Sturdy One of Jacob."

²⁹ Do you perceive a man who is expert in his work? He shall station himself before kings; By no means shall he station himself before obscure men.

¹⁰ All that your hand finds to do, do with your vigor, For there is no doing or devising or knowledge or wisdom In the unseen where you are going."

¹⁴ yet whoever may be drinking of the water which I shall be giving him, shall under no circumstances be thirsting for the eon, but the water which I shall be giving him will become in him a spring of water, welling up into life eonian."

³¹ Now in the meantime the disciples asked Him, saying, "Rabbi, eat." ³² Yet He said to them, "I have food to eat of which you are not aware." ³³ The disciples, then, said to one another, "No one brings Him aught to eat." ³⁴ Jesus is saying to them, "My food is that I should be doing the will of Him Who sends Me, and should be perfecting His work."

⁵ Slaves, be obeying your masters according to the flesh with fear and trembling, in the singleness of your heart, as to Christ, ⁶ not with eye-slavery, as man-pleasers, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from the soul, ⁷ with good humor slaving as to the Lord and not to men, ⁸ being aware that, whatsoever good each one should be doing, for this he will be requited by the Lord, whether slave or free."

² Yet let those having believing owners not be despising them seeing that they are brethren, but rather let them slave for them, seeing that they are believing and beloved, being supported by the slave's benefaction. These things teach and entreat."

¹⁶ And to Abram is he good for her sake. And coming is he to have a flock and a very heavy herd of cattle and asses and menservants and maids and jenny-asses and camels.

¹ And Abraham is old, come to days. And Yahweh blesses Abraham in all things.

¹¹ And coming is it, after the death of Abraham, that the Elohim is blessing Isaac, his son. And dwelling is Isaac by the well Lehi-rai.

¹² And sowing is Isaac in that land and is finding in that year a hundredfold of barley. And blessing him is Yahweh. ¹³ And great is growing the man. And going is he to go on and grow greater, till he is great exceedingly. ¹⁴ And it is coming at his acquiring flocks and acquiring herds and many to serve, that jealous are the Philistines of him.

³ and his acquisitions came to be a flock of seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred pair of oxen and five hundred jennies, besides very many servants. And this man came to be the greatest of all the sons of the East.

¹⁰ Then Yahweh Himself turned back the captivity of Job when he prayed on behalf of his associates. And Yahweh added to all that Job had by a double portion. ¹¹ All his brothers and all his sisters came to him and all his acquaintances from before, and they ate bread with him in his house. Then they condoled with him and comforted him over all the evil that Yahweh had brought upon him. Each of them gave to him one kesitah, and each, one pendant of gold. ¹² Thus Yahweh Himself blessed the latter years of Job more than his beginning. He came to have a flock of fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand pair of oxen and a thousand jennies.

³⁵ You gave to me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand, it braced me, And Your help made me great."

³⁸ Then He shall bless them, and they shall increase exceedingly, And He shall not let their domestic beasts decrease."

³ Wealth and riches are in his house, And his righteousness is standing into the future."

⁴ The consequence of humility is fear of Yahweh, Riches and glory and life."

²⁹ And taking are Abram and Nahor to themselves wives. The name of Abram's wife is Sarai, and the name of Nahor's wife is Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah and the father of Iscah. ³⁰ Yet coming is Sarai to be barren. No child is hers.

¹⁵ And saying is the Elohim to Abraham, "Sarai, your wife--you shall not call her name Sarai, for Sarah is her name. ¹⁶ And I bless her, and, moreover, I give you a son of her. And bless him will I and he comes to be for nations, and kings of peoples shall come from him. ¹⁷ Then falling is Abraham on his face. And laughing is he and saying in his heart, "To one a hundred years of age shall a son be born? And should Sarah, ninety years of age, be bearing? ¹⁸ And saying is Abraham to the Elohim, "O that Ishmael should live before You!" ¹⁹ And saying is the Elohim to Abraham, "Nevertheless, behold, Sarah, your wife is bearing you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac. And I set up My covenant with him for a covenant eonian, and with his seed after him.

¹⁰ And saying is He, "Return, yea, return will I to you according to this season of life, and, behold! A son has Sarah, your wife.And Sarah is hearing at the opening of the tent, for she was behind him. ¹¹ Now Abraham and Sarah are old, coming into days. It had left off to come to Sarah, according to the path of women. ¹² And laughing is Sarah within herself saying, "After my decadence shall luxury come to me? It has not come to me till now. My lord also is old. ¹³ And saying is Yahweh to Abraham, "Why this? Sarah laughs, saying, `Indeed, truly, shall I bear when I am old?. ¹⁴ Is it a matter too marvelous for Yahweh Elohim? At the appointed time will I return to you according to the season of life, and Sarah has a son.

¹ And Yahweh visits Sarah, as He had said, and doing is Yahweh to Sarah as He had spoken. ² And pregnant is Sarah and is bearing for Abraham a son for his old age, at the appointed time of which the Elohim had spoken to him. ³ And Abraham is calling the name of his son who is born to him, whom Sarah bears for him, Isaac. ⁴ And circumcising is Abraham Isaac, his son, at eight days of age as the Elohim had instructed him. ⁵ And Abraham is a hundred years of age when his son Isaac is born to him. ⁶ And saying is Sarah, "Laughter the Elohim makes for me. Everyone hearing is laughing for me. ⁷ And saying is she, "Who declared to Abraham, `Sarah suckles sons'? For I bear him a son in my old age.

¹⁰ And saying is she to Abraham, "Drive out this maidservant an her son, for not shall he enjoy the tenancy--the son of this maidservant--with my son, with Isaac!"

⁵ And giving is Abraham all which is his to his son Isaac.

¹⁹ And, not being infirm in faith, he considers his body, already deadened (being inherently somewhere about a hundred years) and the deadening of the matrix of Sarah,

² And saying is Abraham to his servant, the oldest of his household, the ruler over all that is his, "Pray place your hand under my thigh, ³ and adjure you will I by Yahweh, the Elohim of the heavens and the Elohim of the earth, that you will not take a wife for my son Isaac from the daughters of the Canaanite near whom I am dwelling, ⁴ for to my land whence I came, and to my kindred should you go, and take a wife for my son, for Isaac, thence. ⁵ And saying to him is the servant, "Perhaps the woman will not be willing to go after me to this land. Shall I restore, yea restore your son to the land whence you fared forth? ⁶ And saying to him is Abraham, "Beware you, lest you restore my son thither!" ⁷ Yahweh, the Elohim of the heavens and the Elohim of the earth, Who took me from my father's household and from the land of my kindred, whence I came, and Who spoke to me, and Who swore to me, saying, `To you and your seed will I give this land,' He will send His messenger before you, and you take a wife for my son, Isaac, thence. ⁸ And should the woman not be willing to go after you to this land, innocent are you of this my oath, but my son you shall not restore thither. ⁹ And placing is the servant his hand under the thigh of Abraham, his lord, and is swearing to him on account of this matter.

⁴⁶ And saying is Rebecca to Isaac, "Irritated am I in my life because of the presence of the daughters of the sons of Heth. Should Jacob take a wife such as these from the daughters of Heth, from the daughters of the land, what has life for me?

¹ After the conclusion of these events, the chiefs came close to me, saying:The people of Israel and the priests and the Levites have not kept themselves separate from the peoples of the countries despite their abhorrent acts, those of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Jebusite, the Ammonite, the Moabite, the Egyptian and the Amorite. ² For they have taken up some of their daughters for themselves and for their sons, so that the holy seed has become mixed with the peoples of these countries. And the hand of the chiefs and the prefects has been first in this offense. ³ When I heard about this matter, I tore my garment and my robe and scraped some of the hair of my head and my beard and sat down in desolation.

¹ Now saying is Yahweh to Abram, "Go you from your land and from your kindred and from your father's house to the land which I shall show you.

¹⁹ And Laban goes to shear his flock. And stealing is Rachel the household elohim which are her father's.

⁵ And saying to him is the servant, "Perhaps the woman will not be willing to go after me to this land. Shall I restore, yea restore your son to the land whence you fared forth?

²² And walking is Enoch with the Elohim, after his begetting Methuselah, two hundred years. And begetting is he sons and daughters.

²⁴ And walking is Enoch with the Elohim. And not found is he, for taken was he by the Elohim.

⁹ These are the genealogical annals of Noah: Noah is a just man. Flawless became he in his generations. With the Elohim walks Noah.

¹ And coming is Abram to be ninety nine years of age. And appearing is Yahweh to Abram and is saying to him, "I am the El-Who-Suffices. Walk before Me and become flawless.

⁷ Yahweh, the Elohim of the heavens and the Elohim of the earth, Who took me from my father's household and from the land of my kindred, whence I came, and Who spoke to me, and Who swore to me, saying, `To you and your seed will I give this land,' He will send His messenger before you, and you take a wife for my son, Isaac, thence.

¹⁵ And blessing them is he and saying, "The Elohim before Whom my forefathers, Abraham and Isaac, walked, the Elohim, my Shepherd from my youth till this day,

²⁰ Behold, I shall be sending a messenger before you to keep you in the way and to bring you to the place which I have prepared.

³ and kept the charge of Yahweh your Elohim, to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commands, and His judgments, and His testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, so that you do wisely all that you do, and whithersoever you turn,

²³ and said, `Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, there is not an Elohim like You, in the heavens above, and on the earth beneath, keeping the covenant and the kindness for Your servants, those walking before You with all their heart,

³ `I pray You, O Yahweh, remember, I pray You, how I have walked habitually before You in truth, and with a perfect heart, and that which [is] good in Your eyes I have done;' and Hezekiah weeps--a great weeping.

³ So he comes to be like a tree transplanted by rillets of water, That yields its fruit in its season, And its leaf does not decay; Hence all that he does shall prosper.

⁸ I poise Yahweh in front of me continually; Because He is at my right hand, I shall not slip at all."

¹¹ For He shall enjoin His messengers concerning you, To keep you in all your ways."

²⁸ Responding is king Nebuchadnezzar and saying, "Blessed be their Eloah--that of Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego--Who sent His messenger and delivered His servants who are relying on Him, when they alter the king's declaration. They granted their frames to the fire, seeing that they will not serve, neither worship any other eloah, only their Eloah."

⁸ And I, John, am the one hearing and observing these things. And when I hear and observe, I fall to worship in front of the feet of the messenger who is showing me these things."

¹⁶ I, Jesus, send My messenger to testify these things to you in the ecclesias. I am the root and the race of David, the resplendent morning star."

⁸ And should the woman not be willing to go after you to this land, innocent are you of this my oath, but my son you shall not restore thither.

¹² that you may enter into the covenant with Yahweh your Elohim and into His imprecation that Yahweh your Elohim is contracting with you today,

¹² And saying is he, "Yahweh, Elohim of my lord Abraham, pray, cause a meeting before me today, and do a kindness to my lord Abraham. ¹³ Behold! I am stationed at this spring of water, and the daughters of the mortals of the city will fare forth to bail water. ¹⁴ And comes it that the maiden to whom I will say, `Pray stretch out your jar and give me a drink,' says to me, `Drink. And moreover, your camels also will I give to drink till they should finish drinking', that her You do find correct for Your servant, for Isaac, and by it will I know that You do a kindness to my lord Abraham.

³¹ And saying is he to him, "Come, blessed of Yahweh! Why are you standing outside when I have prepared a surface in the house and a place for the camels?

³ And seeing is his lord that Yahweh is with him and that all that he is doing Yahweh is prospering in his hand.

²¹ Then I proclaimed a fast there by the stream Ahava to humble ourselves before our Elohim so as to seek from Him a straight way for us and for our little ones and for all our goods.

¹⁷ Let the pleasantness of Yahweh our Elohim be over us; Do establish the work of our hands for us; Yea, the work of our hands, do establish it."

⁷ Now as the messenger who is speaking to him came away, summoning two of the domestics and a devout soldier of those who waited on him, ⁸ and unfolding it all to them, he dispatches them to Joppa."

²² Now they say, "Cornelius, a centurion, a man just and God-fearing, besides being attested by the whole nation of the Jews, is apprized by a holy messenger to send after you to come into his house, and to hear declarations from you."

²² And Yahweh Elohim is building the angular organ, which He takes from the human, into a woman, and bringing her is He to the human.

³³ It is the lot that is cast forth in the bosom; Yet from Yahweh is its every judgment.

²² If one finds a wife he finds good, And he gains hold of benevolence from Yahweh."

¹⁰ but (what is becoming to women professing a reverence for God) with good works.

² Be not forgetting hospitality, for through this some were oblivious when lodging messengers."

¹³ and Hannah, she is speaking to her heart, only her lips are moving, and her voice is not heard, and Eli reckons her to be drunken. ¹⁴ And Eli said unto her, `Until when are you drunken? turn aside your wine from you.. <sup>15</sup> And Hannah answers and said, `No, my lord, A woman sharply pained in spirit I [am], and wine and strong drink I have not drunk, and I pour out my soul before Yahweh;"

²⁷ For You, Yahweh of Hosts, Elohim of Israel, You have uncovered the ear of Your servant, saying, A house I build for you, therefore has Your servant found his heart to pray unto You this prayer;"

¹⁹ My Lord, hear! My Lord, pardon! My Lord, attend and do! Thou must not be delaying on Thine own account, my Elohim, for Thy name is called over Thy city and over Thy people, Israel."

²³ At the start of your supplications a word from Yahweh fared forth, and I come to tell you, for a man of coveted qualities are you. "Then understand what is in the word and understand what is in the sight."

⁷ Request and it shall be given you. Seek and you shall find. Knock and it shall be opened to you."

²⁴ Now those who hear, with one accord lift up their voice to God and say, O Owner, Thou Who makest heaven and earth and the sea and all that is in them, ²⁵ Who through holy spirit, by the mouth of our father, Thy boy David, art saying, 'Why are the nations perturbed? And why do the peoples mumble empty phrases? ²⁶ Standing by are the kings of the land, And the chancellors gathered in the same place, Against the Lord and against His Christ.'" ²⁷ For of a truth, in this city were gathered against Thy holy Boy Jesus, Whom Thou dost anoint, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, together with the nations and the peoples of Israel, ²⁸ to do whatever Thy hand and Thy counsel designates beforehand to occur. ²⁹ And now, Lord, take notice of their threatenings, and be Thou endowing Thy slaves with all boldness to be speaking Thy word, ³⁰ by the stretching out of Thy hand for healing and signs and miracles to occur through the name of Thy holy Boy Jesus." ³¹ And at their beseeching, shaken was the place in which they were gathered, and they are all filled with the holy spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness." ³² Now the multitude of those who believe were of one heart and soul, and not even one said that any of his possessions are his own, but it was all theirs in common." ³³ And with great power the apostles rendered testimony to the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Lord. Besides, great grace was on them all,

³⁰ And Cornelius averred, "Four days ago unto this hour was I fasting, and at the ninth, praying in my house, and lo! a man stood before me in splendid attire,

¹² Besides, being conscious, he came to the house of Mary, the mother of John who is surnamed Mark, where a considerable number were, convened together and praying." ¹³ Now at his knocking at the door of the portal, a maid approached to obey, named Rhoda." ¹⁴ And, recognizing the voice of Peter, for joy she does not open the portal. Yet, running in, she reports Peter standing before the portal." ¹⁵ Yet they say to her, "You are mad!Yet she stoutly insisted on having it thus. Yet they said, "It is his messenger." ¹⁶ Yet Peter persisted in knocking. Now, opening, they perceive him and were amazed." ¹⁷ Yet gesturing with a hand to them to hush, he relates to them how the Lord led him out of the jail. Besides, he said, "Report these things to James and the brethren.And, coming out, he went to a different place."

²⁶ Now, similarly, the spirit also is aiding our infirmity, for what we should be praying for, to accord with what must be, we are not aware, but the spirit itself is pleading for us with inarticulate groanings."

¹⁸ And saying is she, "Drink, my lord.And hastening is she and is letting down her jar on her hand and giving him to drink. ¹⁹ And finishing is she giving him to drink and is saying, "Moreover, for your camels will I bail till they should finish drinking.

²² And coming is it, as the camels finish drinking, taking is the man a pendant of gold, its weight a bekah, and is placing it on her nose, and two bracelets on her hands of ten gold shekels' weight. ²³ And he inquires of her and is saying, "Whose daughter are you? Tell me, pray. Forsooth, in the house of your father, is there place for us to lodge? ²⁴ And saying is she to him, "A daughter am I of Bethuel, the son of Milcah, whom she bore for Nahor.

⁵³ And forth is the servant bringing articles of silver and articles of gold and clothes, and is giving them to Rebecca. And token presents he gives to her brother and her mother.

⁹ Daughters of kings are among Your precious ones; The consort is stationed at Your right hand with certified gold of Ophir.

¹³ All glorious is the royal daughter while inside; Her clothing is with mountings of gold; ¹⁴ In embroidered robes she is fetched to the King; The virgins, her associates, are behind her, being brought to her."

³ And you become a crown of beauty in the hand of Yahweh, and a royal turban in the palm of your Elohim." ⁴ And it will not be said of you any further, "Forsaken"; and of your land it will not be said any further, "Desolation.For He shall call you Hephzi-bah, and your land Beulah. For Yahweh is delighted with you, and your land is possessed." ⁵ For as possessing is a chosen man a virgin, possessing you are your sons. And as the elation of a bridegroom over the bride, so will Yahweh, your Elohim, be elated over you."

¹⁰ And I clothe you with embroidery, And I shoe you with badger's skin, And I gird you with fine linen, And I cover you with figured silk." ¹¹ And I adorn you with adornments, And I give bracelets for your hands, And a chain for your neck." ¹² And I give a ring for your nose, And rings for your ears, And a crown of beauty on your head." ¹³ And you do put on gold and silver, And your clothing [is] fine linen, And figured silk and embroidery, Fine flour, and honey, and oil you have eaten, And you are very very beautiful, And do go prosperously to the kingdom."

²⁶ that He should be hallowing it, cleansing it in the bath of the water (with His declaration), ²⁷ that He should be presenting to Himself a glorious ecclesia, not having spot or wrinkle or any such things, but that it may be holy and flawless."

²⁶ And bowing is the man his head and worshiping Yahweh. ²⁷ And saying is he, "Blessed be Yahweh, Elohim of my lord Abraham, Who does not forsake His kindness and His truth with my lord Abraham. I am on the right way. Guided me has Yahweh to the house of my lord's brothers.

²⁰ You will warn them with the statutes and the laws and make known to them the way in which they shall go and the deeds which they shall do.

¹⁴ For this is Elohim, our Elohim, for the eon and further; He Himself shall lead us for the eons. {Permanent{ "

⁷ And He caused them to tread in a straight way, To go to a city of dwelling."

¹¹ For in the way of wisdom I direct you; I cause you to tread in routes of uprightness.

¹⁷ Thus says Yahweh, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, "I, Yahweh, your Elohim, will teach you to benefit, causing you to tread in the way in which you shall go."

¹⁷ Let us pass, we pray, through your land. We shall not pass through field or vineyard, nor shall we drink water of a well. By the king's road shall we go. We shall not turn aside right or left until we have crossed over your boundary.

²⁷ Let me pass through your country along the main road. Only along the main road shall I go. I shall not withdraw to the right or to the left.

¹⁴ And the men say to her, `Our soul for yours--to die; if you declare not this our matter, then it has been, in Yahweh's giving to us this land, that we have done with you kindness and truth..

³ Benignity and truth, let them not forsake you; Tie them about your throat, And write them on the tablet of your heart."

²⁸ And running is the maiden and telling her mother's household as to these matters.

²⁴ And coming is the Elohim to Laban, the Syrian, in a dream in the night. And saying is He to him, "Beware, you, lest you be speaking with Jacob from good unto evil!"

²⁹ Forsooth! Disposed is my hand to do to you evil. Yet the Elohim of your father yesternight spoke to me, saying, `Beware, you, of speaking with Jacob from good unto evil!.

²² and Absalom has not spoken with Amnon either evil or good, for Absalom is hating Amnon, because that he humbled Tamar his sister.

²³ From Yahweh came this; It is marvelous in our eyes.

⁴² Jesus is saying to them, "Did you never read in the scriptures, 'The stone which is rejected by the builders, This came to be for the head of the corner. From the Lord came this, and it is marvelous in our eyes'?

¹¹ From the Lord came this, and it is marvelous in our eyes.'"

¹⁷ If, then, God gives them the equal gratuity as to us also, when believing on the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I - able to forbid God?

¹⁵ And saying is Abimelech to Abraham, "Behold! My land is before you. In that which is good in your eyes, dwell.

¹⁰ And the king said, `What--to me and to you, O sons of Zeruiah? for--let him revile; even because Yahweh has said to him, Revile David; and who said, Wherefore have You done so?.

²⁶ And bowing is the man his head and worshiping Yahweh.

¹ {Davidic{ {When he altered his sanity before Abimelech so that he drove him out, and he went away.{ Let me bless Yahweh in every season; His praise is in my mouth continually." ² In Yahweh my soul boasts; The humbled ones hear and rejoice.

²¹ Let them acclaim Yahweh for His benignity And His marvelous works to the sons of humanity. ²² And let them sacrifice sacrifices of acclamation And recount His deeds with jubilant song.

¹ I love Him because Yahweh has heard My voice, my supplications;" ² For He has stretched out His ear to me, And I shall call on Him throughout all my days."

¹¹ And, coming into the house, they perceived the little Boy with Mary, His mother, and, falling, they worship Him. And opening their treasures, they bring Him approach presents, gold and frankincense and myrrh.

²⁵ Now as Peter came to enter, Cornelius, meeting with him, falling at his feet, worships." ²⁶ Yet Peter raises him, saying, "Rise! I myself also am a man."

¹⁰ And taking is the servant ten camels from the camels of his lord, and is going. And all manner of good things of his lord are in his hand. And rising is he and going to Syria of the streams, to the city of Nahor.

²² And coming is it, as the camels finish drinking, taking is the man a pendant of gold, its weight a bekah, and is placing it on her nose, and two bracelets on her hands of ten gold shekels' weight.

²² for each woman will ask of her neighbour, and of her who sojourns in her house, for articles of silver and articles of gold and garments. And you will place them on your sons and on your daughters, and you will despoil the Egyptians.

² Oh speak in the ears of the people that they should ask, each man from his associate and each woman from her associate, articles of silver and articles of gold and raiment.

³⁵ Then the sons of Israel did according to the word of Moses and requested from the Egyptians articles of silver and articles of gold, and garments.

¹³ About Joseph he said:Blessed by Yahweh be his land with the finest of the heavens, the night mist, and with water from the abyss reclining beneath, ¹⁴ with the finest of the yield from the sun, and with the finest of the growth of the months, ¹⁵ with the top yield of the mountain ranges of aforetime, and with the finest of the hills eonian, ¹⁶ with the finest of the earth and its fullness, and the approval of the One tabernacling over Sinai. Let it come onto the head of Joseph and onto the crown of the one singled out from his brothers,

³ and their father gives to them many gifts of silver and of gold, and of precious things, with fenced cities in Judah, and the kingdom he has given to Jehoram, for He [is] the first-born.

⁶ As for all those around them, they encouraged their hands with articles of silver, with gold, with goods and beasts and token presents besides all that was voluntarily given.

¹³ Your runners form a park of pomegranates, With finest fruit, Henna blossoms with nards,

² And Hezekiah is rejoicing over them with great joy. And he is showing them all his perfumery house, the silver, and the gold, and the aromatics, and the good oil, and all the house with his instruments in the depository, and all that is found among his treasures. Not a thing comes to be there which Hezekiah does not show them, in his house and in all under his rule."

⁵⁹ And sending are they Rebecca, their sister, and her wet-nurse, and Abraham's servant and his mortals.

⁵ And Isaac is sending Jacob away. And going is he to Padan, Syria, to Laban, son of Bethuel the Syrian, brother of Rebecca, the mother of Jacob and Esau. ⁶ And seeing is Esau that Isaac blesses Jacob and sends him to Padan, Syria, to take thence a wife for himself, and, in his blessing him, he is also instructing him, saying, "You shall not take a wife from the daughters of Canaan,

²⁴ And sending is he his brothers and they are going. And saying is he to them, "You must not be disturbed on the way.

¹⁹ And Ahimaaz son of Zadok said, `Let me run, I pray you, and I bear the king tidings, for Yahweh has delivered him out of the hand of his enemies;.

²⁷ And the watchman said, `I see the running of the first as the running of Ahimaaz son of Zadok.' And the king said, `This [is] a good man, and with good tidings he comes.. ²⁸ And Ahimaaz calls and said unto the king, `Peace;' and he bows himself to the king, on his face, to the earth, and said, `Blessed [is] Yahweh your Elohim who has shut up the men who lifted up their hand against my lord the king..

¹⁰ Do not say, Why is it that the former days were better than these present times? For it is not in wisdom that you ask about this."

³⁸ Now He, stepping into the ship, returns. Now the man from whom the demons had come out besought Him to be with Him, yet Jesus dismisses him, saying, ³⁹ Return to your home and relate how much God does for you.And he came away, down the whole city, heralding how much Jesus does for him."

³ And coming is it, at the end of days, that bringing is Cain, from the fruit of the ground, a present offering to Yahweh.

²⁹ In case a man sells a dwelling house in a walled city then his right of redemption will come to be until the end of the year after its sale; only in these days will his right of redemption come to be.

⁸ and he turns back after [some] days to take her, and turns aside to see the carcase of the lion, and lo, a company of bees [are] in the body of the lion--and honey.

⁹ Hasten and go up to my father, and say to him, `Thus says your son Joseph, "The Elohim has constituted me lord of all the land of Egypt. Come down to me. You must not stay there. ¹⁰ And dwell in the land of Goshen and come to be near to me, you and your sons and your sons' sons, and your flocks and your herds, and all which is yours. ¹¹ And sustain you will I there, for there are still five years of famine, lest destitute you be becoming, and your sons' and all who are yours.. ¹² And, behold, your eyes are seeing, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin, that it is my mouth which is speaking to you. ¹³ And tell my father of all my glory in Egypt, and of all that you see. And hasten and bring down my father hither.

⁸ the book of this law does not depart out of your mouth, and you have meditated in it by day and by night, so that you do observe to do according to all that is written in it, for then you do cause your way to prosper, and then you do act wisely.

²⁵ Alike are cold water to a fainting soul And a good report from a far off land.

¹⁵ I, yea I, I speak. Indeed, I call him. I bring him, and I prosper his way."

¹⁰ Hear, O daughter, and see, and stretch out your ear, And forget your people and the house of your father." ¹¹ The King yearns for your loveliness, For He is your Lord; worship Him."

³⁸ Now Miriam said, "Lo! the slave of the Lord! May it come to be with me according to your declaration! And the messenger came away from her."

⁵⁰ And answering are Laban and Bethuel and saying, "From Yahweh fares forth this matter. We cannot speak to you evil or good.

⁸ And dying is Deborah, Rebecca's wet-nurse, and entombed is she below Beth-El, under the oak. And calling is Jacob the name of it Alun-Bakuth.

¹² Was I myself pregnant with all this people, or did I generate it, that You should say to me:Carry it in your bosom just as a foster-father carries a suckling child, to the ground about which You had sworn to their fathers?

⁵ For neither did we at any time become flattering in expression, according as you are aware; neither with a pretense for greed, God is witness;"

²⁸ And blessing them is the Elohim. And saying to them is the Elohim, "Be fruitful and increase and fill the earth, and subdue it. And sway over the fish of the sea, and over the flyer of the heavens, and over the beast, and over all the earth, and over all life moving on the land.

¹ And blessing is the Elohim Noah and his sons. And saying is He to them, "Be fruitful and increase and fill the earth and subdue it.

¹⁶ And I bless her, and, moreover, I give you a son of her. And bless him will I and he comes to be for nations, and kings of peoples shall come from him.

¹⁷ that, blessing, yea, blessing you am I, and increasing, yea, increasing your seed am I as the stars of the heavens and as the sand which is on the sea shore. And your seed shall tenant the gateway of its enemies,

³ And El-Who-Suffices will bless you and make you fruitful and increase you, and you shall become an assembly of peoples.

¹⁵ And blessing them is he and saying, "The Elohim before Whom my forefathers, Abraham and Isaac, walked, the Elohim, my Shepherd from my youth till this day, ¹⁶ the Messenger, my Redeemer from all evil, bless these youths. And called on them shall be my name, and the name of my forefathers, Abraham and Isaac. And prolific shall they be, to make a vast increase within the land.

²⁰ And blessing them is he in that day, saying, "By you shall Israel bless, saying, "The Elohim make you as Ephraim and as Manasseh!.And placing is he Ephraim before Manasseh.

⁴⁶ You may entail them as an allotment to your sons after you together with the tenancy of the holding. For the eon you may make them serve. Yet over your brothers, the sons of Israel, a man over his brother, you shall not hold sway over them with rigor.

¹⁹ then his father and his mother will grasp him and bring him forth to the elders of his city, at the gate of his place.

¹¹ All the people in the gate and the elders replied, We are witnesses! And the elders said, May Yahweh grant to the woman who is coming to your house to be like Rachel and like Leah, both of whom built up the house of Israel! Perform ably in Ephrathah, and proclaim a name in Bethlehem!" ¹² May your house become like the house of Perez whom Thamar bore for Judah, from the seed which Yahweh shall give to you from this maiden.

¹⁰ Streaming is a flame in front and issuing from before Him; a thousand thousands are irradiating Him, and ten thousand ten thousands are rising before Him. Adjudication sits and the scrolls are opened."

²⁴ Therefore a man shall forsake his father and his mother and cling to his wife, and they two become one flesh.

³⁴ Yet Rachel took the household elohim and placed them in the saddle basket of the camel, and she is sitting on them. And feeling is Laban all the tent, yet did not find them.

¹⁷ And David smites them from the twilight even unto the evening of the morrow, and there has not escaped of them a man, except four hundred young men who have ridden on the camels, and are fled.

² But rather his delight is in the law of Yahweh, And he is soliloquizing from His law by day and night.

¹¹ I shall remember all the activity of Yah; Indeed I shall remember Your marvelous works from aforetime. ¹² Thus I soliloquize on all Your deeds, And on all Your activity, let me meditate."

³⁴ May my meditation be congenial to Him; I shall rejoice in Yahweh.

¹⁵ I will meditate in Your precepts, And I will scrutinize Your paths."

²⁷ Make me understand the way of Your precepts, And I will meditate on Your marvelous works."

⁴⁸ Thus I am lifting my palms unto Your instructions that I love, And I will meditate on Your statutes."

¹⁷ How precious are Your thoughts to me, O El, How plentiful are their sums:" ¹⁸ If I number them, they are more than the sand. I awake, and I am still with You."

⁵ Yet I remember the days aforetime; I soliloquize upon all Your deeds; Upon the works of Your hands am I meditating. ⁶ I spread forth my hands to You; My soul looks to You like a fainting land. {Interlude{

⁵ On the honor glorious of Your splendor And the words of Your marvelous works let me meditate.

⁹ Similarly, women also are to be adorning themselves in raiment, decorously, with modesty and sanity, not with braids and gold, or pearls or costly vesture,

³⁰ And gathering are the apostles to Jesus, and they report to Him all, whatever they do, and whatever they teach."

²² And Yahweh Elohim is building the angular organ, which He takes from the human, into a woman, and bringing her is He to the human. ²³ And saying is the human, "This was once bone of my bones and flesh from my flesh. This shall be called woman, for from her man is this taken. ²⁴ Therefore a man shall forsake his father and his mother and cling to his wife, and they two become one flesh.

⁶ And hastening is Abraham toward the tent to Sarah. And saying is he to her, "Hasten! Three seahs of meal flour knead, and make ember cakes.

⁹ And saying are they to him, "Where is Sarah, your wife?And answering, he is saying, "Behold! In the tent. ¹⁰ And saying is He, "Return, yea, return will I to you according to this season of life, and, behold! A son has Sarah, your wife.And Sarah is hearing at the opening of the tent, for she was behind him.

¹ And coming is the life of Sarah to be a hundred and twenty seven years--the years of the life of Sarah. ² And dying is Sarah in the town of Arba, in the vale. (It is Hebron, in the land of Canaan.) And coming is Abraham to wail over Sarah and to lament for her.

¹⁸ And loving is Jacob Rachel. And saying is he, "Serve you will I seven years for Rachel, your younger daughter.

³⁵ And rising are all his sons and all his daughters and they come to console him, yet refusing is he to be consoled and is saying that, "Descend will I to my son, to the unseen, mourning.And lamenting over him is his father.

¹² And increasing are the days, and the daughter of Shua, Judah's wife, died. And consoled is Judah, and going up is he to the shearers of his flock, he and his shepherd, Hirah, the Adullamite, to Timnah.

² I would lead you and bring you to my mother's house, Who has taught me; I would give you to drink of wine that is compounded, Of my pomegranate juice."

¹ Jubilate, O barren, who has not borne! Crash into jubilation, and make a noise, who has not travailed! For more are the sons of the desolate than the sons of the one with a possessor,says Yahweh." ² Widen the place of your tent, and the sheets of your tabernacles will stretch out. You must not keep back! Lengthen your cords, and your pegs make fast." ³ For right and left shall you breach, and your seed shall tenant nations, and the desolated cities shall be indwelt." ⁴ You must not fear, for you are not shamed, and you must not be confounded, for you shall not be abashed. For the shame of your adolescence will you forget, and the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no longer." ⁵ For your Possessor is your Maker. Yahweh of hosts is His name. And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel. The Elohim of the entire earth shall He be called.

¹ Would that you had borne with any little imprudence of mine! Nay, and be bearing with me, " ² for I am jealous over you with a jealousy of God. For I betroth you to one Man, to present a chaste virgin to Christ. "

²² Let the wives be subject to their own husbands, as to the Lord, ²³ for the husband is head of the wife even as Christ is Head of the ecclesia, and He is the Saviour of the body." ²⁴ Nevertheless, as the ecclesia is subject to Christ, thus are the wives also to their husbands in everything." ²⁵ Husbands, be loving your wives according as Christ also loves the ecclesia, and gives Himself up for its sake, ²⁶ that He should be hallowing it, cleansing it in the bath of the water (with His declaration), ²⁷ that He should be presenting to Himself a glorious ecclesia, not having spot or wrinkle or any such things, but that it may be holy and flawless." ²⁸ Thus, the husbands also ought to be loving their own wives as their own bodies. He who is loving his own wife is loving himself." ²⁹ For no one at any time hates his own flesh, but is nurturing and cherishing it, according as Christ also the ecclesia, ³⁰ for we are members of His body. ³¹ For this "a man shall leave his father and mother and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall be one flesh." ³² This secret is great: yet I am saying this as to Christ and as to the ecclesia. ³³ Moreover, you also individually, each be loving his own wife thus, as himself, yet that the wife may be fearing the husband."

¹³ Now we do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who are reposing, lest you may sorrow according as the rest, also, who have no expectation."

¹⁵ For this we are saying to you by the word of the Lord, that we, the living, who are surviving to the presence of the Lord, should by no means outstrip those who are put to repose,
