² I spread out My hands all the day to a stubborn and contentious people, those going the way which is not good, after their own devices,

⁵ And seeing is Yahweh Elohim that much is the evil of humanity in the earth, and every form of the devices of its heart is but evil all its days.

³⁹ You will come to have a tassel so that you will see it, remember all the instructions of Yahweh and observe them and not explore after your heart and after your eyes after which you are prostituting;"

⁷ Remember, do not forget that you provoked Yahweh your Elohim to wrath in the wilderness. From the day in which you went forth from the country of Egypt until you came to this place, you were rebellious against Yahweh.

¹⁹ And it will come to be when he hears the words of this imprecation that he will bless himself in his heart, saying:I shall come to have peace, though I am going in the obduracy of my own heart, seeing that the satiated may be swept up with the thirsty.

²⁷ for I know your rebellion and your scruff of obstinacy. Behold in my day, while I am still with you alive, you have been rebellious against Yahweh, indeed, how much more so after my death!"

⁴ He devises lawlessness on his bed; He stations himself on a pathway that is not good; He does not reject what is evil.

¹¹ Yet My people would not hearken to My voice, And Israel would not comply with Me." ¹² So I let them go in the obduracy of their own heart; They went in their own counsels.

²⁴ Because I called, and you refused, I stretched out my hand, and no one attended,

²⁹ A malicious man entices his associate And leads him in a way that is not good;

² Hark, you heavens! And give ear, O earth! For Yahweh speaks! Sons I bring up and exalt, yet they, they transgress against Me."

²³ Your chiefs are stubborn, and partners of thieves. Everyone loves a bribe, and pursues payments. The orphan they are not judging. And the contention of the widow is not coming to them."

⁷ Forsake shall the wicked one his way, and the lawless man his devices, and he shall return to Yahweh, and He will have compassion on him, and to our Elohim, for he will increasingly pardon your sins."

⁷ Their feet are running to evil, and they are hastening to shed innocent blood. Their devices are devices of lawlessness. Devastation and breaking and violence are in their highways." ⁸ The way of welfare they do not know, and no judgment is in their rounds. Their tracks they pervert for themselves. All those treading in them know no welfare."

¹⁰ Yet they rebelled and grieved His holy spirit, and He is turning into their enemy, and He fights against them."

¹⁸ And I know their deeds and their devices! I will come to convene all the nations and the tongues. And they come and see My glory."

¹⁷ At that time they cry to Jerusalem, `O throne of Yahweh,' And gathered unto her has been all the nations, For the name of Yahweh, to Jerusalem, Nor do they go any more after the stubbornness of their evil heart."

¹⁴ Wash from evil your heart, O Jerusalem, That you may be saved, Till when do you lodge in your heart Thoughts of your strength?

²³ And this people has an apostate and rebellious heart, They have turned aside, and they go on."

²⁴ And they have not hearkened, nor inclined their ear, And they walk in the counsels, In the stubbornness, of their evil heart, And are for backward, and not for forward."

³ And He said unto Me, `Son of man, I am sending you unto the sons of Israel, unto nations who are rebels, who have rebelled against Me; they and their fathers have transgressed against Me, unto this self-same day." <sup>4</sup> And the sons [are] brazen-faced and hard-hearted to whom I am sending you, and you have said unto them:Thus said the Lord Yahweh:" <sup>5</sup> and they--whether they hear, or whether they forbear, for a rebellious house they [are] --have known that a prophet has been in their midst." <sup>6</sup> `And you, son of man, you are not afraid of them, yea, of their words you are not afraid, for briers and thorns are with you, and near scorpions you are dwelling, of their words you are not afraid, and of their faces you are not affrighted, for they [are] a rebellious house, ⁷ And you have spoken My words unto them, whether they hear or whether they forbear, for they [are] rebellious."

³³ Either make the tree ideal and its fruit ideal, or make the tree rotten and its fruit rotten, for by its fruit the tree is known." ³⁴ Progeny of vipers! How can you be speaking what is good, being wicked? For out of the superabundance of the heart the mouth is speaking."

¹⁹ For out of the heart are coming wicked reasonings, murders, adulteries, prostitutions, thefts, false testimonies, calumnies."

³⁷ Jerusalem! Jerusalem! who art killing the prophets and pelting with stones those who have been dispatched to her! How many times do I want to assemble your children in the manner a hen is assembling her brood under her wings-and you will not!"

⁴¹ And as He draws near, perceiving the city, He laments over it, ⁴² saying that, "If you knew, even you, and surely in this day, what is for your peace-! Yet now it was hid from your eyes,

⁵¹ Stiff-necked and uncircumcised in your hearts and ears, you are ever clashing with the holy spirit! As your fathers, you also!" ⁵² Which of the prophets do not your fathers persecute? And they kill those who announce before concerning the coming of the Just One, of Whom now you became the traitors and murderers -"

⁵ Yet, in accord with your hardness and unrepentant heart you are hoarding for yourself indignation in the day of indignation and revelation of the just judgment of God,

²¹ Now to Israel He is saying, The whole day I spread out My hands to a stubborn and contradicting people!"

¹⁵ who kill the Lord Jesus as well as the prophets, and banish us, and are not pleasing to God, and are contrary to all men, ¹⁶ forbidding us to speak to the nations that they may be saved, to fill up their sins always. Yet the indignation outstrips to them to a consummation."

¹⁴ Now each one is undergoing trial when he is drawn away and lured by his own desire. ¹⁵ Thereafter, the desire, conceiving, is bringing forth sin. Now sin, fully consummated, is teeming forth death."
