²⁴ And Jeremiah said unto all the people, and unto all the women, `Hear you a word of Yahweh, all Judah who [are] in the land of Egypt,

¹⁹ And he said, `Therefore, hear a word of Yahweh; I have seen Yahweh sitting on His throne, and all the host of the heavens standing by Him, on His right and on His left;"

¹⁰ Hear the word of Yahweh, captains of Sodom! Give ear to the law of Elohim, you people of Gomorrah!"

¹⁴ Wherefore, hear the word of Yahweh, mocking mortals, proverb quoters of this people who are in Jerusalem."

¹⁵ And now, therefore, hear you a word of Yahweh, O remnant of Judah:Thus said Yahweh of Hosts, Elohim of Israel:If you really set your faces to enter Egypt, and have gone in to sojourn there,

⁷ and they enter the land of Egypt, for they have not hearkened to the voice of Yahweh, and they enter unto Tahpanhes."

¹⁵ And they answer Jeremiah--all the men who are knowing that their wives are making perfume to other elohims, and all the women who are remaining, a great assembly, even all the people who are dwelling in the land of Egypt, in Pathros--saying:" ¹⁶ `The word that you have spoken unto us in the name of Yahweh--we are not hearkening unto you;

²⁶ `Therefore, hear you a word of Yahweh, all Judah who are dwelling in the land of Egypt:Lo, I--I have sworn by My great name, said Yahweh, My name is no more proclaimed by the mouth of any man of Judah, saying, Live does the Lord Yahweh--in all the land of Egypt."

⁷ And you have spoken My words unto them, whether they hear or whether they forbear, for they [are] rebellious."

³² And that which is going up on your mind, It is not at all--in that you are saying:We will be as the nations, as the families of the lands, To serve wood and stone." ³³ I live--an affirmation of the Lord Yahweh, Do not I, with a strong hand, And with a stretched-out arm, And with fury poured out--rule over you?

¹⁶ And now, hear the word of Yahweh, You are saying, You shall not prophesy against Israel, nor shall you drop a word against the house of Isaac."

¹⁵ Who has ears to hear, let him hear!"
