¹ And entering, He passed through Jericho." ² And lo! a man whose name is called Zaccheus was there, and he was a chief tribute collector, and he was rich." ³ And he sought to see Jesus, who He is, and was not able because of the throng, for he was little in stature." ⁴ And running before in front, he climbed up on a fig mulberry that he may see Him, seeing that He was about to be passing through that way." ⁵ And as He came to the place, looking up, Jesus perceived him and said to him, "Zaccheus! Hurry! Descend, for today I must remain in your house." ⁶ And hurrying, he descended, and entertains Him with rejoicing." ⁷ And perceiving it, all grumbled, saying that with a man who is a sinner He entered to put up for the night." ⁸ Now standing, Zaccheus said to the Lord, "Lo! the half of my possessions, Lord, I am giving to the poor! And if from anyone I get anything by blackmail, I am giving back fourfold." ⁹ Now Jesus said to him that "Today salvation came to this home, forasmuch as he also is a son of Abraham." ¹⁰ For the Son of Mankind came to seek and to save the lost." ¹¹ Now at their hearing these things, adding, He spoke a parable because of His being near Jerusalem, and they are supposing that instantly the kingdom of God is about to be looming up." ¹² He said, then, "A certain man, a noble, went into a far country, to obtain for himself a kingdom, and to return." ¹³ Now, calling ten of his slaves, he gives to them ten minas and said to them, 'Go into business while I am coming.'" ¹⁴ Now his citizens hated him, and they dispatch an embassy after him, saying, 'We do not want this man to reign over us!'" ¹⁵ And, obtaining the kingdom, it occurred at his coming back, that he said also to summon to him these slaves to whom he had given the silver, that he may know what business they do." ¹⁶ Now along came the first, saying, 'Lord, your mina earns ten minas.'" ¹⁷ And he said to him, 'Well done, surely, good slave! Seeing that you became faithful in the least, be having authority over ten cities.'" ¹⁸ And the second came, saying, 'Your mina, lord, makes five minas.'" ¹⁹ Now he said to this one also, 'And you, be over five cities.'" ²⁰ And a different one came, saying, 'Lord, lo! your mina which I had, reserved in a handkerchief." ²¹ For I feared you, seeing that you are a harsh man. You are picking up what you do not lay down and reaping what you do not sow.'" ²² Now he is saying to him, 'Out of your mouth will I judge you, wicked slave! You were aware that I am a harsh man, picking up what I do not lay down and reaping what I do not sow." ²³ And wherefore do you not give my silver to the bank, and I, coming, would utilize it together with interest?'" ²⁴ And to those standing by he said, 'Take away the mina from him and give it to him who has the ten minas.'" ²⁵ And they say to him, 'Lord, he has ten minas!'" ²⁶ For I am saying to you that to everyone who has, shall be given, yet from him who has not, that also which he has shall be taken away from him." ²⁷ However, these, my enemies, who are not willing for me to reign over them-lead them here and slay them in front of me.'" ²⁸ And, saying these things, He went in front, going up into Jerusalem." ²⁹ And it occurred, as He nears Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount called Olivet, He dispatches two of His disciples, ³⁰ saying, "Go away into the village facing you, in which, entering, you will be finding a colt bound, on which no man ever is seated, and loosing it, be leading it to Me. " ³¹ And if anyone should be asking you, 'Wherefore are you loosing it?' thus shall you be declaring to him, that 'The Lord has need of it.'" ³² Now, coming away, those who have been dispatched found it according as He said to them." ³³ Now, at their loosing the colt, its masters say to them, "Why are you loosing the colt? ³⁴ Now they say that "The Lord has need of it." ³⁵ And they led it to Jesus, and tossing their garments on the colt, they mount Jesus." ³⁶ Now, at His going, they strewed their garments under Him in the road." ³⁷ Now at His already drawing near to the descent of the mount of Olives, the entire multitude of the disciples begins rejoicing, praising God with a loud voice concerning all the powerful deeds which they perceived, ³⁸ saying, "Blessed be the King coming in the name of the Lord! In heaven peace, and glory among the highest!" ³⁹ And some of the Pharisees from the throng say to Him, "Teacher, rebuke your disciples!" ⁴⁰ And answering, He said to them, "I am saying to you that if ever these will be silent, the stones will be crying." ⁴¹ And as He draws near, perceiving the city, He laments over it, ⁴² saying that, "If you knew, even you, and surely in this day, what is for your peace-! Yet now it was hid from your eyes, ⁴³ for the days will be arriving on you, and your enemies will be casting up a rampart about you, and will be surrounding you, and will be pressing you everywhere, ⁴⁴ and will be leveling you and your children in you, and they will not be leaving a stone on a stone in you, because you knew not the era of your visitation." ⁴⁵ And, entering into the sanctuary, He begins to cast out those who are selling and buying in it, ⁴⁶ saying to them, "It is written, My house shall also be a house of prayer,' yet you make it a burglars' cave." ⁴⁷ And He was teaching daily in the sanctuary, yet the chief priests and the scribes and the foremost of the people sought to destroy Him." ⁴⁸ And they found not what they should be doing, for all the people, hearing, hung on Him."

¹ And Joshua son of Nun sends from Shittim, two men, spies, silently, saying, `Go, see the land--and Jericho;' and they go and come into the house of a woman, a harlot, and her name [is] Rahab, and they lie down there.

¹ (And Jericho shuts itself up, and is shut up, because of the presence of the sons of Israel--none going out, and none coming in;. ² And Yahweh said unto Joshua, `See, I have given into your hand Jericho and its king--mighty ones of valor, <sup>3</sup> and you have compassed the city--all the men of battle--going round the city once; thus you do six days; <sup>4</sup> and seven priests do bear seven trumpets of the jubilee before the ark, and on the seventh day you compass the city seven times, and the priests blow with the trumpets, <sup>5</sup> and it has been, in the prolongation of the horn of the jubilee, in your hearing the voice of the trumpet, all the people shout--a great shout, and the wall of the city has fallen under it, and the people have gone up, each over-against him.. <sup>6</sup> And Joshua son of Nun calls unto the priests, and said unto them, `Bear you the ark of the covenant, and seven priests do bear seven trumpets of the jubilee before the ark of Yahweh;. ⁷ and He said unto the people, `Pass over, and compass the city, and he who is armed does pass over before the ark of Yahweh.. <sup>8</sup> And it comes to pass, when Joshua speaks unto the people, that the seven priests bearing seven trumpets of the jubilee before Yahweh have passed over and blown with the trumpets, and the ark of the covenant of Yahweh is going after them;" <sup>9</sup> and he who is armed is going before the priests blowing the trumpets, and he who is gathering up is going after the ark, going on and blowing with the trumpets;" <sup>10</sup> and the people has Joshua commanded, saying, `You do not shout, nor cause your voice to be heard, nor does there go out from your mouth a word, till the day of my saying unto you, Shout you--then you have shouted.. ¹¹ And the ark of Yahweh does compass the city, going round once, and they come into the camp, and lodge in the camp. ¹² And Joshua rises early in the morning, and the priests bear the ark of Yahweh, ¹³ and seven priests bearing seven trumpets of the jubilee before the ark of Yahweh are walking, going on, and they have blown with the trumpets--and he who is armed is going before them, and he who is gathering up is going behind the ark of Yahweh--going on and blowing with the trumpets. ¹⁴ And they compass the city on the second day once, and turn back to the camp; thus they have done six days. ¹⁵ And it comes to pass, on the seventh day, that they rise early, at the ascending of the dawn, and compass the city, according to this manner, seven times; (only, on that day they have compassed the city seven times);" ¹⁶ and it comes to pass, at the seventh time, the priests have blown with the trumpets, and Joshua said unto the people, `Shout you, for Yahweh has given to you the city;" <sup>17</sup> and the city has been devoted, it and all that [is] in it, to Yahweh; only Rahab the harlot does live, she and all who [are] with her in the house, for she hid the messengers whom we sent;" <sup>18</sup> and surely you have kept from the devoted thing, lest you devote [yourselves], and have taken from the devoted thing, and have made the camp of Israel become a devoted thing, and have troubled it;" <sup>19</sup> and all the silver and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, holy they [are] to Yahweh; into the treasury of Yahweh they come.. <sup>20</sup> And the people shout, and blow with the trumpets, and it comes to pass when the people hear the voice of the trumpet, that the people shout--a great shout, and the wall falls under it, and the people goes up into the city, each over-against him, and they capture the city;" <sup>21</sup> and they devote all that [is] in the city, from man even unto woman, from young even unto aged, even unto ox, and sheep, and ass, by the mouth of the sword. <sup>22</sup> And to the two men who are spying the land Joshua said, `Go into the house of the woman, the harlot, and bring out thence the woman, and all whom she has, as you have sworn to her.. ²³ And the young man, the spies, go in and bring out Rahab, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all whom she has; yea, all her families they have brought out, and place them at the outside of the camp of Israel. ²⁴ And the city they have burnt with fire, and all that [is] in it; only, the silver and the gold, and the vessels of brass, and of iron, they have given [to] the treasury of the house of Yahweh;" ²⁵ and Rahab the harlot, and the house of her father, and all whom she has, has Joshua kept alive; and she dwells in the midst of Israel unto this day, for she hid the messengers whom Joshua sent to spy out Jericho. ²⁶ And Joshua adjures [them] at that time, saying, `Cursed [is] the man before Yahweh who raises up and has built this city, [even] Jericho; in his first-born he does lay its foundation, and in his youngest he does set up its doors;. ²⁷ and Yahweh is with Joshua, and his fame is in all the land.

³⁴ In his days has Hiel the Beth-Elite built Jericho; in Abiram his first-born he laid its foundation, and in Segub his youngest he set up its doors, according to the word of Yahweh that He spoke by the hand of Joshua son of Nun.

¹⁸ and they turn back unto him--and he is abiding in Jericho--and he said unto them, `Did I not say unto you, Do not go?. <sup>19</sup> And the men of the city say unto Elisha, `Lo, we pray you, the site of the city [is] good, as my lord sees, and the waters [are] bad, and the earth sterile.. ²⁰ And he said, `Bring to me a new dish, and place there salt;' and they bring [it] unto him, <sup>21</sup> and he goes out unto the source of the waters, and casts there salt, and said, `Thus said Yahweh, I have given healing to these waters; there is not thence any more death and sterility.. ²² And the waters are healed unto this day, according to the word of Elisha, that he spoke.

³⁵ Now it occurred at His nearing Jericho, that a certain blind man, a mendicant sat beside the road."

⁵ And Yahweh does establish the kingdom in his hand, and all Judah give a present to Jehoshaphat, and he has riches and honor in abundance, ⁶ and his heart is high in the ways of Yahweh, and again he has turned aside the high places and the shrines out of Judah.

²⁴ Now Jesus, perceiving him becoming sorrow-stricken, said, "How squeamishly shall those having money be entering into the kingdom of God!" ²⁵ For it is easier for a camel to be entering through the eye of a bodkin than for a rich man to be entering into the kingdom of God." ²⁶ Now those hearing it said, "And who can be saved? ²⁷ Yet He said, "What is impossible with men is possible with God."

⁷ Now Herod the tetrarch hears all that is occurring by Him, and was bewildered because of what is being said by some that "John was roused from among the dead, ⁸ yet by some that "Elijah appeared,yet by others that "Some prophet of the ancients rose." ⁹ Yet Herod said, "John I behead. Now who is this about whom I am hearing such things?And he sought to become acquainted with Him."

²⁵ Now who of you by worrying is able to add on to his stature one cubit?

⁸ Now Herod, perceiving Jesus, was overjoyed, for he was for a considerable time wanting to become acquainted with Him, because of hearing much concerning Him. And he expected to be perceiving some sign occurring by Him."

²¹ These, then, came to Philip who is from Bethsaida of Galilee, and they asked him, saying, "Lord, we want to become acquainted with Jesus."

²⁷ And the king makes the silver in Jerusalem as stones, and the cedars he has made as the sycamores that [are] in the low country, for abundance.

²⁸ and over the olives, and the sycamores, that [are] in the low country, [is] Baal-Hanan the Gederite; and over the treasures of oil [is] Joash;"

⁴⁷ He killed their vine with hail, And their mulberry trees with sleet."

¹⁰ The bricks fell, yet with trimmed stone will we build. The sycamore fig trees were hacked down, yet we to cedars will vary."

¹⁴ Yet Amos is answering and saying to Amaziah, I am not a prophet, nor am I a son of a prophet. For I am a herder and a puncturer of sycamore figs."

¹⁹ And not finding by which means they may be carrying him in because of the throng, going up on the housetop, they let him down, with the cot, through the tiles into the midst in front or Jesus."

³ And saying is he, "My lord, pray, should I find grace in your eyes, pray, you must not pass on from your servant. ⁴ Let a little water, pray, be taken, and they will wash your feet. And lean back under the tree. ⁵ And I will take a morsel of bread and you shall eat and brace your hearts. And afterward shall you pass on your way, for therefore you pass by your servant.And saying are they, "So be doing as you speak.

¹ And coming are two of the messengers to Sodom in the evening. And Lot is sitting in the gateway of Sodom. And seeing them is Lot, and rising is he to meet them. And prostrating is he, nostrils to the earth. ² And saying is he, "Behold, pray, my lords! Withdraw, pray, to the house of your servant and lodge and wash your feet, and rise early and go on your way.And saying are they, "No, for in the square will we lodge. ³ And urging them is he exceedingly. And withdrawing are they to him, and coming to his house. And making is he for them a feast, and he bakes unleavened bread, and they are eating.

² I will contemplate the flawless way. --When shall You come to me?-- I shall walk in the integrity of my heart within my house. ³ I shall not set a worthless matter in front of my eyes; I hate the doing of those who swerve; It shall not cling to me.

¹ {A Davidic Psalm{ O Yahweh, You have investigated me and are knowing me;" ² You Yourself know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought from afar; ³ My path and my pallet You have measured off, And for all my ways You have made provision."

¹⁰ All that your hand finds to do, do with your vigor, For there is no doing or devising or knowledge or wisdom In the unseen where you are going."

⁶ And I do pass over by you, And I see you trodden down in your blood, And I say to you in your blood, Live, And I say to you in your blood, Live."

¹⁰ For the Son of Mankind came to seek and to save the lost."

⁴⁸ Nathanael is saying to Him, "Whence do you know me?Jesus answered and said to him, "Before Philip summons you, when you are under the fig tree, I perceived you."

⁷ A certain woman of Samaria is coming to draw water. Jesus is saying to her, "Give Me a drink, ⁸ for His disciples had come away into the city that they should be buying nourishment. ⁹ The Samaritan woman, then, is saying to Him, "How are you, being a Jew, requesting a drink from me, being a Samaritan woman?(For Jews are not beholden to Samaritans.)" ¹⁰ Jesus answered and said to her, "If you were aware of the gratuity of God, and Who it is Who is saying to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would request Him, and He would give you living water."

²³ Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone should be loving Me, he will be keeping My word, and My Father will be loving him, and We shall be coming to him and making an abode with him."

¹ Now, working together, we are also entreating you not to receive the grace of God for naught."

¹⁷ Christ to dwell in your hearts through faith, that you, having been rooted and grounded in love,

² Be not forgetting hospitality, for through this some were oblivious when lodging messengers."

²⁰ Lo! I stand at the door and am knocking. If ever anyone should be hearing My voice and opening the door, I will also be coming in to him and dining with him, and he with Me. "

⁶ And hastening is Abraham toward the tent to Sarah. And saying is he to her, "Hasten! Three seahs of meal flour knead, and make ember cakes. ⁷ And to the herd runs Abraham, and is taking a young one of the herd, tender and good, and is giving it to the lad. And hastening is he to make it ready.

⁵⁹ I have taken account of my ways; So let me turn back my feet to Your testimonies. ⁶⁰ I hurry and do not dally To keep Your instructions.

⁵ You come upon the elated and the doer of righteousness. In Your ways are they remembering You. Behold! You are wroth when we are sinning. Against You from the eon also are we transgressing.

¹⁶ And they came hurrying, and they found both Miriam and Joseph, and the Babe lying in the manger."

²⁹ And Levi makes a great reception for Him in his house, and there was a vast throng of tribute collectors and others who were lying down with them."

⁴¹ Those indeed, then, who welcome his word, are baptized, and there were added in that day about three thousand souls."

¹⁵ Now as she is baptized, she and her household, she entreats, saying, "If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, enter into my house and remain.And she urges us."

³⁴ Besides, leading them up into his house, he sets a table before them, and exults with all his household, having believed God."

¹⁵ Now, when it delights God, Who severs me from my mother's womb and calls me through His grace, ¹⁶ to unveil His Son in me that I may be evangelizing Him among the nations, I did not immediately submit it to flesh and blood,

¹¹ And, perceiving it, the Pharisees said to His disciples, "Wherefore is your teacher eating with tribute collectors and sinners?

²⁸ Now what are you supposing? A man had two children. And, coming to the first, he said, 'Child, go today, work in my vineyard.'" ²⁹ Yet he, answering, said, 'I do not want to.' Yet subsequently, regretting it, he went forth." ³⁰ Now, coming to the second, he said similarly. Now he, answering, said, "I go, lord! and he went not forth." ³¹ Which of the two does the will of the father?They are saying, "The first.Jesus is saying to them, "Verily, I am saying to you that the tribute collectors and the prostitutes are preceding you into the kingdom of God."

³⁰ And the Pharisees and their scribes murmured to His disciples, saying, "Wherefore are you eating and drinking with the tribute collectors and sinners?

³⁴ Come has the Son of Mankind, eating and drinking, and you are saying, "'Lo! a man gluttonous and a tippler, a friend of tribute collectors and sinners!'"

³⁹ Now, perceiving it, the Pharisee who invites Him said in himself, saying, "This one, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman it is who is touching him, seeing that she is a sinner."

² And both the Pharisees and the scribes grumbled, saying that "This man sinners is receiving, and is eating with them!"

⁹ Now He said, also, to some who have confidence in themselves that they are just, and are scorning the rest, this parable:" ¹⁰ Two men went up into the sanctuary to pray, the one a Pharisee, and the other a tribute collector." ¹¹ The Pharisee, standing, prayed this to himself: 'God, I am thanking you that I am not even as the rest of men, rapacious, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tribute collector." ¹² I am fasting twice of a sabbath. I am taking tithes from all whatever I am acquiring.' ¹³ Now the tribute collector, standing afar off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his chest, saying, 'God, make a propitiatory shelter for me, the sinner!' " ¹⁴ I am saying to you, this man descended to his home justified, rather than that one, for everyone who is exalting himself shall be humbled, yet he who is humbling himself shall be exalted."

¹⁶ You shall not answer against your associate with false testimony.

¹ When a man steals a bull or a flockling and slaughters it or sells it, five oxen shall he repay for the bull and four small cattle for the flockling. ² (If the thief is found while burrowing and is smitten so that he dies, there is no blood-guilt because of him. ³ But if the sun has risen on him there is blood-guilt because of him.) He shall repay, yea repay; if he has nothing then he will be sold for his theft. ⁴ If the theft is found, yea found alive in his hand, whether bull or donkey or flockling, he shall only repay double.

¹ Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying. ² When a soul sins and offends with an offense against Yahweh and dissimulates against his companion in regard to committal or pledge of hand or pillage, or he extorts from his companion, ³ or he finds lost property and dissimulates in regard to it, or swears falsely in one or another of all the things which a human might do sinning by them. ⁴ when it will come to be that he sins and realizes his guilt, then he will restore the pillage which he pillaged, or the extortion which he extorted, or the committal which was committed to him, or the lost which he found, ⁵ or anything about which he swore falsely; he will repay it in its full value and add a fifth of its value to it. To him whose it is shall he give it on the day of his guilt offering. ⁶ He shall bring to the priest as his guilt offering to Yahweh, a flawless ram from the flock, by your appraisal in silver shekels as a guilt offering.

⁷ then they will confess their sin which they had committed, the sinner will make restoration for his guilt in its full value, and he shall add a fifth of it onto it and give it to him to whom he became guilty.

³ `Lo, here [am] I; testify against me, over-against Yahweh, and over-against His anointed; whose ox have I taken, and whose ass have I taken, and whom have I oppressed; whom have I bruised, and of whose hand have I taken a ransom, and hide mine eyes with it? --and I restore to you..

⁶ and the ewe-lamb he does repay fourfold, because that he has done this thing, and because that he had no pity..

¹ {A Davidic Psalm{ Happy is he who is acting intelligently toward the poor and needy; In a day of peril, Yahweh shall provide his escape."

³¹ Yet when he is found, he shall repay sevenfold Though he must give up all the wealth of his house."

⁸ Produce, then, fruits worthy of repentance. And you should not begin to be saying among yourselves, 'For a father we have Abraham,' for I am saying to you that God is able, out of these stones, to rouse children to Abraham." ⁹ Now already the ax also is lying at the root of the trees. Every tree, then, which is not producing ideal fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire." ¹⁰ And the throngs inquired of him, saying "What, then, should we be doing? ¹¹ Now answering, he said to them, "He who has two tunics, let him be sharing with him who has none, and let him who has food be doing likewise." ¹² Now tribute collectors also came to be baptized, and they said to him, "Teacher, what should we be doing? ¹³ Now he said to them, "Impose nothing more than has been prescribed to you." ¹⁴ Now soldiers also inquired of him, saying, "What should we also be doing?And he said to them, "You should be intimidating no one, neither be blackmailing, and be sufficed with your rations."

¹³ And perceiving her, the Lord has compassion on her and said to her, "Do not lament!"

⁴¹ However, what is within be giving as alms, and lo! all is clean to you."

³³ Sell your possessions and give alms. Make yourselves purses which do not age, a treasure which does not default, in the heavens where a thief is not nearing, neither moth is causing decay."

⁹ And am I saying to you, Make for yourselves friends with the mammon of injustice, that, whenever it may be defaulting, they should be receiving you into the eonian tabernacles?

²² Now hearing this, Jesus said to him, "Still one thing you are lacking. All, whatever you have, sell, and distribute to the poor, and you will be having treasure in the heavens. And hither! Follow Me." ²³ Yet he, hearing all these things, became sorrow-stricken, for he was tremendously rich."

⁴⁴ Now all those who believe also were in the same place and had all things in common. ⁴⁵ And they disposed of the acquisitions and the properties, and divided them to all, forasmuch as some would have had need." ⁴⁶ Besides persevering day by day with one accord in the sanctuary, besides breaking bread home by home, they partook of nourishment with exultation and simplicity of heart,

³⁴ for neither was there any indigent among them, for whoever belonged to the acquirers of freeholds or of houses, selling these, they brought the price of that which is being disposed of, ³⁵ and placed it at the feet of the apostles. Now it was distributed to each, forasmuch as some would have had need."

⁷ But, even as you are superabounding in everything - in faith and word and knowledge and all diligence and the love that flows out of you into us - that you may be superabounding in this grace also." ⁸ I am not saying this as an injunction, but, through the diligence of others, testing also the genuineness of this love of yours."

¹⁷ Those who are rich in the current eon be charging not to be haughty, nor yet to rely on the dubiousness of riches, but on God, Who is tendering us all things richly for our enjoyment;" ¹⁸ to be doing good acts, to be rich in ideal acts, to be liberal contributors,

¹⁰ yet the rich in his humiliation, for, as the flower of grass, shall he pass by." ¹¹ For the sun rises, together with the scorching heat, and withers the grass, and its flower falls off, and the comeliness of its aspect perished. Thus the rich also in his goings shall be caused to fade."

³⁰ For my eyes perceived Thy Salvation,

⁸ Produce, then, fruits worthy of repentance. And you should not begin to be saying among yourselves, 'For a father we have Abraham,' for I am saying to you that God is able, out of these stones, to rouse children to Abraham."

¹⁶ Now this woman-being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan binds, lo! eighteen years-must she not be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

³⁰ And lo! they are last who will be first, and they are first who will be last."

³⁸ I commission you to reap that for which you have not toiled. Others have toiled, and you have entered into their toil." ³⁹ Now out of that city many of the Samaritans believe in Him because of the word of the woman, testifying that "He told me all whatever I do." ⁴⁰ As, then, the Samaritans came together to Him, they asked Him to remain with them. And He remains there two days." ⁴¹ And many more believe because of His word. ⁴² Besides, to the woman they said that "No longer because of your speaking are we believing, for we ourselves have heard Him, and we are aware that this truly is the Saviour of the world, the Christ."

³⁰ and, preceding them out, averred, "Masters, what must I be doing that I may be saved? ³¹ Now they say, "Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you shall be saved, you and your household." ³² And they speak to him the word of the Lord, together with all those in his house."

¹¹ And he obtained the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which was in uncircumcision, for him to be the father of all those who are believing through uncircumcision, for righteousness to be reckoned to them, ¹² and the father of the Circumcision, not to those of the Circumcision only, but to those also who are observing the elements of the faith in the footprints of our father Abraham, in uncircumcision."

¹⁶ Therefore it is of faith that it may accord with grace, for the promise to be confirmed to the entire seed, not to those of the law only, but to those also of the faith of Abraham, who is father of us all,

⁹ Or are you not aware that the unjust shall not be enjoying the allotment of God's kingdom? Be not deceived. Neither paramours, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor catamites, nor sodomites, ¹⁰ nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards; no revilers, no extortioners shall be enjoying the allotment of God's kingdom." ¹¹ And some of you were these, but you are bathed off, but you are hallowed, but you were justified in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and by the spirit of our God."

⁷ Know, consequently, that those of faith, these are sons of Abraham."

¹⁴ that the blessing of Abraham may be coming to the nations in Christ Jesus, that we may be obtaining the promise of the spirit through faith."

²⁹ Now if you are Christ's, consequently you are of Abraham's seed, enjoyers of the allotment according to the promise."

¹⁰ who once were "not a peopleyet now are the people of God, who "have not enjoyed mercy,yet now are "being shown mercy."

¹⁶ The lost I seek, and the driven away bring back, And the broken I bind up, and the sick I strengthen, And the fat and the strong I destroy, I feed it with judgment."

²¹ Now she shall be bringing forth a Son, and you shall be calling His name Jesus, for He shall be saving His people from their sins."

¹² Now hearing, He said, "No need have the strong of a physician, but those having an illness." ¹³ Now go, learn what this is: Mercy am I wanting, and not sacrifice. For I did not come to call the just but sinners."

⁶ Yet be going rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

²⁴ Now He, answering, said, "I was not commissioned except for the lost sheep of the house of Israel."

¹⁰ See that you should not be despising one of these little ones, for I am saying to you that their messengers in the heavens are continually observing the face of My Father Who is in the heavens."

³¹ And answering, Jesus said to them, "Those who are sound have no need of a physician, but those who have an illness." ³² I have not come to call the just, but sinners, to repentance."

⁴ What man of you, having a hundred sheep, and losing one of them, is not leaving the ninety-nine in the wilderness and is going after the lost one, till he may be finding it? ⁵ And finding it, he is placing it on his shoulders, rejoicing." ⁶ And, coming into the house, he is calling together the friends and the neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice together with me that I found my sheep that was lost!'" ⁷ I am saying to you that thus there will be joy in heaven over one sinner repenting, more than over the ninety-nine just persons who have no need of repentance."

³² Yet we must be merry and rejoice, seeing that this your brother was dead and revives, and was lost and was found.'"

⁶ For Christ, while we are still infirm, still in accord with the era, for the sake of the irreverent, died."

¹³ I, who formerly was a calumniator and a persecutor and an outrager: but I was shown mercy, seeing that I do it being ignorant, in unbelief." ¹⁴ Yet the grace of our Lord overwhelms, with faith and love in Christ Jesus." ¹⁵ Faithful is the saying, and worthy of all welcome, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, foremost of whom am I." ¹⁶ But therefore was I shown mercy, that in me, the foremost, Jesus Christ should be displaying all His patience, for a pattern of those who are about to be believing on Him for life eonian."

²⁵ Whence, also, He is able to save to the uttermost those coming to God through Him, always being alive to be pleading for their sake."

⁹ In this was manifested the love of God among us, that God has dispatched His only-begotten Son into the world that we should be living through Him." ¹⁰ In this is love, not that we love God, but that He loves us, and dispatches His son, a propitiatory shelter concerned with our sins." ¹¹ Beloved, if thus God loves us, we also ought to be loving one another." ¹² No one has ever gazed upon God. If we should be loving one anohter, God is remaining in us, and His love is perfected in us." ¹³ In this we know that we are remaining in Him, and He in us, for He has given us of His spirit." ¹⁴ And we have gazed upon Him, and are testifying that the Father has dispatched the Son, the Saviour of the world."

²⁰ Now, being inquired of by the Pharisees as to when the kingdom of God is coming, He answered them and said, "The kingdom of God is not coming with scrutiny."

⁶ Those, indeed, then, who are coming together, asked Him, saying, "Lord, art Thou at this time restoring the kingdom to Israel?

¹ Now we are asking you, brethren, for the sake of the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ and our assembling to Him, ² that you be not quickly shaken from your mind, nor yet be alarmed, either through spirit, or through word, or through an epistle as through us, as that the day of the Lord is present." ³ No one should be deluding you by any method, for, should not the apostasy be coming first and the man of lawlessness be unveiled, the son of destruction,

³⁸ Yet the farmers, perceiving the son, said among themselves, 'This is the enjoyer of the allotment. Hither! We should be killing him and have the enjoyment of his allotment.'"

¹⁴ For it is even as a man traveling. He calls his own slaves and gives over to them his possessions. ¹⁵ And to one, indeed, he gives five talents, yet to one, two, yet to one, one; to each according to his own ability. And he travels immediately." ¹⁶ Now, being gone, the one getting the five talents trades with them and gains another five talents." ¹⁷ Similarly, also, the one with the two; he also gains another two." ¹⁸ Yet the one getting the one talent, coming away, excavates in the earth and hides his lord's silver." ¹⁹ Now, after much time, the lord of those slaves is coming and settling accounts with them." ²⁰ And, approaching, the one getting the five talents brings to him another five talents, saying, 'Lord, five talents you give over to me, Lo! another five talents do I gain with them.'" ²¹ Now his lord averred to him, 'Well done! good and faithful slave. Over a few were you faithful; over many will I place you. Enter into the joy of your lord!'" ²² Now, approaching, the one also getting the two talents said, 'Lord, two talents you give over to me, Lo! another two talents I gain with them.'" ²³ His lord averred to him, 'Well done! good and faithful slave. Over a few were you faithful; over many will I place you. Enter into the joy of your lord!'" ²⁴ Now, approaching, the one also having gotten the one talent, said, 'Lord, I knew you, that you are a hard man, reaping where you do not sow, and gathering whence you do not scatter." ²⁵ And, being afraid, coming away, I hide your talent in the earth. Lo! you have what is yours!'" ²⁶ Now, answering, his lord said to him, 'Wicked and slothful slave! You were aware that I am reaping where I do not sow, and gathering whence I do not scatter." ²⁷ It was binding on you, then, to be depositing my silver with the bankers, and on coming, I should recover what is mine together with interest." ²⁸ Take the talent away from him then, and give it to the one who has ten talents.'" ²⁹ For to everyone who has shall be given, and he shall have a superfluity, yet from the one who has not, that also which he has shall be taken away from him;" ³⁰ and the useless slave cast out into outer darkness. there shall be lamentation and gnashing of teeth.

¹⁸ And, approaching, Jesus speaks to them saying, "Given to Me was all authority in heaven and on the earth."

¹ And He begins to speak to them in parables: "A vineyard a man is planting, and he places about it a stone dike, and excavates a vat, and builds a tower, and leased it to farmers, and travels."

³⁴ It is as a man, a traveler, leaving his home and giving his slaves authority, and to each his work, and he directs the doorkeeper that he may be watching." ³⁵ Watch, then, for you are not aware when the lord of the house is coming, at evening, or midnight, or cockcrowing, or morning, ³⁶ that, coming suddenly, he may not be finding you drowsing." ³⁷ Now what I am saying to you, I am saying to all: 'Watch!'"

¹⁹ The Lord, indeed, then, after speaking with them, was taken up into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God."

¹² He said, then, "A certain man, a noble, went into a far country, to obtain for himself a kingdom, and to return." ¹³ Now, calling ten of his slaves, he gives to them ten minas and said to them, 'Go into business while I am coming.'" ¹⁴ Now his citizens hated him, and they dispatch an embassy after him, saying, 'We do not want this man to reign over us!'" ¹⁵ And, obtaining the kingdom, it occurred at his coming back, that he said also to summon to him these slaves to whom he had given the silver, that he may know what business they do." ¹⁶ Now along came the first, saying, 'Lord, your mina earns ten minas.'" ¹⁷ And he said to him, 'Well done, surely, good slave! Seeing that you became faithful in the least, be having authority over ten cities.'" ¹⁸ And the second came, saying, 'Your mina, lord, makes five minas.'" ¹⁹ Now he said to this one also, 'And you, be over five cities.'" ²⁰ And a different one came, saying, 'Lord, lo! your mina which I had, reserved in a handkerchief." ²¹ For I feared you, seeing that you are a harsh man. You are picking up what you do not lay down and reaping what you do not sow.'" ²² Now he is saying to him, 'Out of your mouth will I judge you, wicked slave! You were aware that I am a harsh man, picking up what I do not lay down and reaping what I do not sow." ²³ And wherefore do you not give my silver to the bank, and I, coming, would utilize it together with interest?'" ²⁴ And to those standing by he said, 'Take away the mina from him and give it to him who has the ten minas.'" ²⁵ And they say to him, 'Lord, he has ten minas!'" ²⁶ For I am saying to you that to everyone who has, shall be given, yet from him who has not, that also which he has shall be taken away from him." ²⁷ However, these, my enemies, who are not willing for me to reign over them-lead them here and slay them in front of me.'"

⁹ Now He begins to be telling to the people this parable, "A certain man plants a vineyard and leased it to farmers, and travels a considerable time."

⁵¹ And it occurred as He is blessing them, He put an interval between Himself and them, and He was carried up into heaven."

³⁷ Pilate, then, said to Him, "Is it not then so? A king are you!Jesus answered, "You are saying that I am a king. For this also have I been born, and for this have I come into the world, that I should be testifying to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth is hearing My voice."

⁹ And saying these things, while they are looking, He was lifted up, and a cloud took Him up from their eyes." ¹⁰ And as they were looking intently into heaven at His going, lo! two men stand beside them in white attire, ¹¹ who say also, "Men! Galileans! Why do you stand, looking into heaven? This Jesus Who is being taken up from you into heaven shall come thus, in the manner in which you gaze at Him going into heaven."

³¹ forasmuch as He assigns a day in which He is about to be judging the inhabited earth in righteousness by the Man Whom He specifies, tendering faith to all, raising Him from among the dead - "

²⁵ For He must be reigning until He should be placing all His enemies under His feet.

²⁰ which is operative in the Christ, rousing Him from among the dead and seating Him at His right hand among the celestials, ²¹ up over every sovereignty and authority and power and lordship, and every name that is named, not only in this eon, but also in that which is impending:" ²² and subjects all under His feet, and gives Him, as Head over all, to the ecclesia" ²³ which is His body, the complement of the One completing the all in all."

⁹ Wherefore, also, God highly exalts Him, and graces Him with the name that is above every name, ¹⁰ that in the name of Jesus every knee should be bowing, celestial and terrestrial and subterranean, ¹¹ and every tongue should be acclaiming that Jesus Christ is Lord, for the glory of God, the Father."

²⁸ thus Christ also, being offered once for the bearing of the sins of many, will be seen a second time, by those awaiting Him, apart from sin, for salvation, through faith."

²² Who is at God's right hand, being gone into heaven, messengers and authorities and powers being subjected to Him."

⁷ Lo! He is coming with clouds, and every eye shall be seeing Him-those, also, who stab Him-and all the tribes of the land shall be grieving over Him. Yea! Amen!"

²⁶ If anyone should be serving Me, let him be following Me, and where I am, there My servant also shall be. And if anyone should be serving Me, the Father shall be honoring him."

⁶ Now, having graces excelling, in accord with the grace which is given to us, whether prophecy, exercise it in accord with the analogy of the faith;" ⁷ or dispensing, in the dispensation; or the teacher, in teaching;" ⁸ or the entreater, in entreaty; the sharer, with generosity; the presider, with diligence; the merciful one, with glee."

⁷ Now to each one is being given the manifestation of the spirit, with a view to expedience." ⁸ For to one, indeed, through the spirit, is being given the word of wisdom, yet to another the word of knowledge, according to the same spirit" ⁹ yet to another faith, by the same spirit, yet to another the graces of healing, by the one spirit, ¹⁰ yet to another operations of powerful deeds, yet to another prophecy, yet to another discrimination of spirits, yet to another species of languages, yet to another translation of languages." ¹¹ Now all these one and the same spirit is operating, apportioning to each his own, according as He is intending."

²⁸ whom also God, indeed, placed in the ecclesia, first, apostles, second, prophets, third, teachers, thereupon powers, thereupon graces of healing, supports, pilotage, species of languages." ²⁹ Not all are apostles. Not all are prophets. Not all are teachers. Not all have powers.

¹⁰ For, at present, am I persuading men or God? Or am I seeking to please men? If I still pleased men, I were not a slave of Christ."

¹ James, a slave of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes in the dispersion. Rejoice!"

⁹ Be hospitable to one another without murmuring. ¹⁰ Each, according as he obtained a gracious gift, be dispensing it among yourselves, as ideal administrators of the varied grace of God;" ¹¹ if anyone is speaking, as the oracles of God; if anyone is dispensing, as out of the strength which God is furnishing; that in all God may be glorified, through Jesus Christ, to Whom is the glory and the might for the eons of the eons. Amen!"

¹ Simeon Peter, a slave and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who are chancing upon an equally precious faith with us, in the righteousness of our God, and the Saviour, Jesus Christ:"

⁷ And Yahweh said unto Samuel, `Hearken to the voice of the people, to all that they say unto you, for you they have not rejected, but Me they have rejected, from reigning over them.

¹ Why are the nations perturbed? And why do the national groups mumble empty phrases? ² The kings of the earth are standing by, And the chancellors are gathered together Against Yahweh and against His Anointed, saying, ³ Let us pull away their bonds, And let us fling off their ropes from us.

⁷ Thus says my Lord Yahweh, your Redeemer, the Elohim of Israel, his Holy One, to the despised of His soul, to the abhorred of the nation, to the servant of rulers, "Kings shall see him, and they rise, and chiefs shall also worship him, on account of Yahweh, Who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel, and He shall choose you."

⁸ And I am suppressing three shepherds in one month. Yet my soul is impatient with them; and, moreover, their soul is nauseated with me."

²⁷ However, these, my enemies, who are not willing for me to reign over them-lead them here and slay them in front of me.'"

¹¹ To His own He came, and those who are His own accepted Him not."

¹⁸ If the world is hating you, know that it has hated Me first before you."

²³ He who is hating Me is hating My Father also. ²⁴ If I do not the works among them which no other one does, they had no sin. Yet now they have seen also, and they have hated Me as well as My Father,

¹⁴ Now you disown the holy and just One, and request a man, a murderer, to be surrendered to you as a favor." ¹⁵ Yet the Inaugurator of Life you kill, Whom God rouses from among the dead, of which we are witnesses."

²⁷ For of a truth, in this city were gathered against Thy holy Boy Jesus, Whom Thou dost anoint, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, together with the nations and the peoples of Israel, ²⁸ to do whatever Thy hand and Thy counsel designates beforehand to occur.

⁵¹ Stiff-necked and uncircumcised in your hearts and ears, you are ever clashing with the holy spirit! As your fathers, you also!" ⁵² Which of the prophets do not your fathers persecute? And they kill those who announce before concerning the coming of the Just One, of Whom now you became the traitors and murderers -"

⁴ The One sitting in the heavens, He shall ridicule; Yahweh, He shall deride them. ⁵ Then He shall speak to them in His anger, And in His hot anger He shall fill them with panic, saying, ⁶ I will pour a libation on My King, On Zion, My holy mountain.

²³ Therefore likened was the kingdom of the heavens to a man, a king, who wants to settle accounts with his slaves." ²⁴ Now, at his beginning to settle, one debtor was brought to him who owed ten thousand talents." ²⁵ Now, at his not having wherewith to pay, the lord orders him to be disposed of, and his wife and children and all, whatever he has, and payment to be made." ²⁶ Falling down, then, that slave worshiped him, saying, Lord, be patient with me, and I will pay you all!'" ²⁷ Now, having compassion, the lord of that slave dismisses him, and remits his loan." ²⁸ Yet, coming out, that slave found one of his fellow slaves, who owed him a hundred denarii, and, holding him, he choked him, saying, 'Pay, if you are owing anything!" ²⁹ Falling down, then, his fellow slave entreated him, saying, 'Be patient with me, and I will pay you all!'" ³⁰ Yet he would not, but, coming away, he casts him into jail, till he may pay what he is owing." ³¹ Then his fellow slaves, perceiving what is occurring, were tremendously sorry, and coming, they elucidate to their lord all that is occurring." ³² Then his lord, calling him to him, is saying to him, 'Wicked slave! That entire debt I remit to you, since you entreat me." ³³ Was it not binding on you also to be merciful to your fellow slave, as I also am merciful to you?'" ³⁴ And, being indignant, his lord gives him up to the tormentors till he may pay all he is owing him." ³⁵ Thus shall My heavenly Father also be doing to you, if each one should not be pardoning his brother, from your hearts."

¹⁹ Now, after much time, the lord of those slaves is coming and settling accounts with them."

⁴⁸ Now he who does not know, yet does what deserves blows, shall have few lashes. Now to everyone to whom much was given, from him much will be sought, and to whom they committed much, more excessively will they be requesting of him."

² And summoning him, he said to him, 'What is this I am hearing concerning you? Render an account of your administration, for you can no longer be administrator.'" ³ Now the administrator said in himself, 'What shall I be doing, seeing that my lord will be wresting the administration from me? To dig I am not strong enough." ⁴ To be a mendicant I am ashamed. I knew what I shall be doing that whenever I may be deposed from the administration, they should be receiving me into their homes.'" ⁵ And calling to him each one of the debtors paying usury to his lord, he said to the first, 'How much are you owing my lord?'" ⁶ Now he said to him, 'A hundred baths of oil.' Now he said to him, 'Receive your bills, and, being seated, quickly write fifty.'" ⁷ Thereupon to another he said, 'Now you, how much are you owing?' Now he said, 'A hundred cors of grain.' And he is saying to him, 'Receive your bills, and write eighty.'" ⁸ And the lord applauds the unjust administrator, for he does prudently, for the sons of this eon are more prudent, above the sons of light in their own generation." ⁹ And am I saying to you, Make for yourselves friends with the mammon of injustice, that, whenever it may be defaulting, they should be receiving you into the eonian tabernacles? ¹⁰ He who is faithful in the least is faithful in much also, and he who is unjust in the least is unjust in much also." ¹¹ If, then, you did not come to be faithful in the unjust mammon, who will be entrusting to you the true? ¹² And, if you did not come to be faithful in that which is an outsider's, who will be giving you that which is yours? ¹³ No domestic can be slaving for two lords, for either he will be hating one and loving the other, or he will be upholding one and despising the other. You can not slave for God and mammon."

¹⁰ Now why are you judging your brother? Or why are you also scorning your brother? For all of us shall be presented at the dais of God, ¹¹ for it is written: Living am I, the Lord is saying, For to Me shall bow every knee, And every tongue shall be acclaiming God!" ¹² Consequently, then, each of us shall be giving account concerning himself to God."

¹ Thus let a man be reckoning with us - as deputies of Christ, and administrators of God's secrets." ² Here, furthermore, it is being sought in administrators that any such may be found faithful." ³ Now to me it is the least trifle that I may be being examined by you or by man's day. But neither am I examining myself. ⁴ For of nothing am I conscious as to myself, but not by this am I justified. Now He Who is examining me is the Lord." ⁵ So that, be not judging anything before the season, till the Lord should be coming, Who will also illuminate the hidden things of darkness and manifest the counsels of the hearts. And then applause will be coming to each one from God."

¹⁴ yea, because, who [am] I, and who [are] my people, that we retain power to offer thus willingly? but of You [is] the whole, and out of Your hand we have given to You;" ¹⁵ for sojourners we [are] before You, and settlers, like all our fathers; as a shadow [are] our days on the land, and there is none abiding. ¹⁶ `O Yahweh our Elohim, all this store that we have prepared to build to You a house, for Your holy name, [is] out of Your hand, and of You [is] the whole.

¹⁰ Yet, in the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace, which is in me, did not come to be for naught, but more exceedingly than all of them toil I - yet not I, but the grace of God which is with me."

²⁸ Whom we are announcing, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we should be presenting every man mature in Chist Jesus;" ²⁹ for which I am toiling also, struggling in accord with His operation, which is operating in me with power."

⁷ I have contended the ideal contest. I have finished my career. I have kept the faith. ⁸ Furthermore, there is reserved for me the wreath of righteousness, which the Lord, the just Judge, will be paying to me in that day; yet not to me only, but also to all who love His advent."

¹⁸ But someone will be declaring, "You have faith and I have works.Show me your faith apart from the works and I shall be showing you my faith by my works." ¹⁹ You are believing that God is one. Ideally are you doing. The demons also are believing and are shuddering. ²⁰ Now are you wanting to know, O empty man, that faith apart from works is dead? ²¹ Abraham, our father, was he not justified by works when offering up his son Isaac on the altar? ²² You are observing that faith worked together with his works, and by works was faith perfected." ²³ And fulfilled was the scripture which is saying, Now "Abraham believes God, and it is reckoned to him for righteousness,and he was called "the friend of God." ²⁴ You see that by works a man is being justified, and not by faith only." ²⁵ Now likewise, was not Rahab the prostitute also justified by works when entertaining the messengers and ejecting them by a different way? ²⁶ For even as the body apart from spirit is dead, thus also faith apart from works is dead."

⁴ And finding is Joseph grace in the eyes of his lord, and ministering is he to him. And making him is he supervisor over his household, and all, forsooth, which is his he gives into Joseph's hand.

³⁰ `Therefore--the affirmation of Yahweh, Elohim of Israel--I certainly said, Your house and the house of your father, do walk up and down before Me to the eon; and now--the affirmation of Yahweh--Far be it from Me! for he who is honoring Me, I honor, and those despising Me, are lightly esteemed.

²¹ Now his lord averred to him, 'Well done! good and faithful slave. Over a few were you faithful; over many will I place you. Enter into the joy of your lord!'"

¹⁰ He who is faithful in the least is faithful in much also, and he who is unjust in the least is unjust in much also."

³⁰ that you may be eating and drinking at My table in My kingdom. And you will be seated on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel."

²⁹ but that which is hidden is the Jew, and circumcision is of the heart, in spirit, not in letter, whose applause is not of men, but of God."

⁵ So that, be not judging anything before the season, till the Lord should be coming, Who will also illuminate the hidden things of darkness and manifest the counsels of the hearts. And then applause will be coming to each one from God."

¹⁰ Therefore I am enduring all because of those who are chosen, that they also may be happening upon the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with glory eonian."

⁷ that the testing of your faith, much more precious than gold which is perishing, yet, being tested by fire, may be found for applause and glory and honor at the unveiling of Jesus Christ,

⁴ and, when the Chief Shepherd is manifested, you shall be requited with an unfading wreath of glory."

²⁶ '"And to the one who is conquering and keeping My acts until the consummation, to him will I be giving authority over the nations;" ²⁷ and he shall be shepherding them with an iron club, as vessels of pottery are being crushed, as I also have obtained from My Father." ²⁸ And I will give him the morning star. ²⁹ '"Who has an ear, let him hear what the spirit is saying to the ecclesias."'"

²³ Now he who is being sown on the ideal earth, this is he who is hearing the word and understanding, who by all means is bearing fruit, and is producing; these indeed, a hundred, yet these sixty, yet these thirtyfold."

²⁰ And those are those being sown on ideal earth who are hearing the word, and are assenting to it, and are bearing fruit, one thirty and one sixty and one a hundredfold."

¹² For if eagerness lies before, it is most acceptable according to whatever one may have, not according to what he has not."

¹⁰ Say to the righteous that good is his portion, for the fruit of their actions are they eating."

⁸ Now he who is planting and he who is irrigating are for one thing. Yet each will be getting his own wages according to his own toil.

⁴¹ another glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars, for star is excelling star in glory." ⁴² Thus also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is roused in incorruption.

⁵⁸ So that, my beloved brethren, become settled, unmovable, superabounding in the work of the Lord always, being aware that your toil is not for naught in the Lord."

⁶ yet as this: who is sowing sparingly, sparingly shall be reaping also, and who is sowing bountifully, bountifully shall be reaping also,

⁸ Be looking to yourselves, that you should not be destroying that for which you work, but you may be getting full wages."

¹³ The slothful man says, There is a black lion in the road, A lion in the square!" ¹⁴ The door turns about on its hinges, And the slothful one on his couch." ¹⁵ The slothful man buries his hand into the dinner-bowl; He is too tired to bring it back to his mouth. ¹⁶ The slothful man is wiser in his own eyes Than seven men who reply with discretion.

²⁴ Now, approaching, the one also having gotten the one talent, said, 'Lord, I knew you, that you are a hard man, reaping where you do not sow, and gathering whence you do not scatter."

⁹ Now already the ax also is lying at the root of the trees. Every tree, then, which is not producing ideal fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire."

⁴⁶ Now why are you calling Me 'Lord,' and are not doing what I am saying?

¹³ Now, calling ten of his slaves, he gives to them ten minas and said to them, 'Go into business while I am coming.'"

¹⁷ Then to one perceiving how to be doing the ideal and not doing it, to him it is sin."

¹⁹ They said to Moses: Speak you with us that we may hear; yet Elohim must not speak with us lest we die. ²⁰ Then Moses said to the people: Do not fear, for in order to probe you the One, Elohim has come, and in order that the fear of Him should come over your faces, that you may not sin.

¹⁹ And He smites among the men of Beth-Shemesh, for they looked into the ark of Yahweh, yea, He smites among the people seventy men--fifty chief men; and the people mourn, because Yahweh smote among the people--a great smiting. ²⁰ And the men of Beth-Shemesh say, `Who is able to stand before Yahweh, this holy Elohim? and unto whom does He go up from us?. <sup>21</sup> And they send messengers unto the inhabitants of Kirjath-Jearim, saying, `The Philistines have sent back the ark of Yahweh; come down, take it up unto you..

²⁰ And Samuel said unto the people, `Fear not; you have done all this evil; only, turn not aside from after Yahweh--and you have served Yahweh with all your heart,

⁹ and David fears Yahweh on that day, and said, `How does the ark of Yahweh come in unto me?. ¹⁰ And David has not been willing to turn aside unto himself the ark of Yahweh, to the city of David, and David turns it aside to the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite, ¹¹ and the ark of Yahweh does inhabit the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite three months, and Yahweh blesses Obed-Edom and all his house.

¹⁴ Yet they say to El, Go away from us, For we do not desire a knowledge of Your ways. ¹⁵ What is He Who Suffices that we should serve Him? And what benefit would we gain that we should make intercession to Him?

²⁵ And you have said, Not pondered is the way of the Lord. Hear, I pray you, O house of Israel, My way--is it not pondered? Are not your ways unpondered? ²⁶ In the turning back of the righteous from his righteousness, And he has done perversity, And he is dying by them, for his perversity That he has done he dies." ²⁷ And in the turning back of the wicked From his wickedness that he has done, And he does judgment and righteousness, He his soul does keep alive." ²⁸ And he sees and turns back, From all his transgressions that he has done, He does surely live, he does not die, ²⁹ And the house of Israel have said, Not pondered is the way of the Lord, My ways--are they not pondered? O house of Israel--are not your ways unpondered?

¹⁴ You say, It is futility to serve Elohim. And what gain is it that we keep His charge, and that we go somberly in view of Yahweh of hosts? ¹⁵ And now we are pronouncing the arrogant happy. Moreover, the doers of wickedness are built up. Moreover, they test Elohim, and are escaping."

²⁴ Now, approaching, the one also having gotten the one talent, said, 'Lord, I knew you, that you are a hard man, reaping where you do not sow, and gathering whence you do not scatter." ²⁵ And, being afraid, coming away, I hide your talent in the earth. Lo! you have what is yours!'"

⁷ because the disposition of the flesh is enmity to God, for it is not subject to the law of God, for neither is it able."

¹⁵ For you did not get slavery's spirit to fear again, but you got the spirit of sonship, in which we are crying, "Abba, Father!"

⁷ for God gives us, not a spirit of timidity, but of power and of love and of sanity."

¹⁰ For anyone who should be keeping the whole law, yet should be tripping in one thing, has become liable for all."

¹⁸ Fear is not in love, but perfect love is casting out fear, for fear has chastening. Now he who is fearing is not perfected in love."

¹⁵ to do judging against all, and to expose all the irreverent concerning all their irreverent acts in which they are irreverent, and concerning all the hard words which irreverent sinners speak against Him." ¹⁶ and David said unto him, `Your blood [is] on your own head, for your mouth has testified against you, saying, I--I put to death the anointed of Yahweh..

⁵ For your depravity trains your mouth, And you choose the tongue of the crafty. ⁶ Your own mouth condemns you, not I, And your lips answer against you.

³⁷ For by your words shall you be justified, and by your words shall you be convicted."

¹² And he is saying to him, 'Comrade, how did you enter here having no wedding apparel?' Yet he was still."

²⁶ Now, answering, his lord said to him, 'Wicked and slothful slave! You were aware that I am reaping where I do not sow, and gathering whence I do not scatter." ²⁷ It was binding on you, then, to be depositing my silver with the bankers, and on coming, I should recover what is mine together with interest."

¹⁹ Now we are aware that, whatever the law is saying, it is speaking to those under the law, that every mouth may be barred, and the entire world may become subject to the just verdict of God,

²⁵ If you obligate My people, the humble with you, with silver, you shall not be as a moneylender to him; you shall not impose interest on him. ²⁶ If you take in pledge, yea in pledge the raiment of your associate, previous to sunset you shall restore it to him, ²⁷ for it is his only covering. It is his garment for his skin: wherein shall he lie? When it comes to be that he is crying to Me, then I will hear, for I am gracious.

¹⁹ You shall not charge interest to your brother:interest on silver, interest on food, interest on anything else that might earn interest. ²⁰ To a foreigner you may charge interest, but to your brother you shall not charge interest, so that Yahweh your Elohim may bless you in every undertaking of your hand in the land where you are coming to tenant it.

⁴ Or are you despising the riches of His kindness and forbearance and patience, being ignorant that the kindness of God is leading you to repentance? ⁵ Yet, in accord with your hardness and unrepentant heart you are hoarding for yourself indignation in the day of indignation and revelation of the just judgment of God,

²⁰ Yet God said to him, 'Imprudent one! In this night your soul are they demanding from you. Now, what you make ready, whose will it be?'"

² And summoning him, he said to him, 'What is this I am hearing concerning you? Render an account of your administration, for you can no longer be administrator.'"

¹⁹ And yet this [is] little in Your eyes, Lord Yahweh, and You do speak also concerning the house of Your servant afar off; and this [is] the law of the Man, Lord Yahweh.

⁸ For not as My devices are your devices, and not as your ways are My ways,averring is Yahweh." ⁹ For as the heavens are loftier than the earth, so are My ways loftier than your ways, and my devices than your devices."

²⁸ And Samuel said unto him, `Yahweh has rent the kingdom of Israel from you to-day, and given it to your neighbor who is better than you;"

¹⁵ and My kindness does not turn aside from him, as I turned it aside from Saul, whom I turned aside from before you,

⁸ May his days come to be few; May his supervision be taken by another.

¹² Because that they serve them before their idols, and have been to the house of Israel for a stumbling-block of iniquity, therefore I have lifted up my hand against them--an affirmation of the Lord Yahweh--and they have borne their iniquity." ¹³ And they draw not nigh unto Me to act as My priest, and to draw nigh unto any of My holy things, unto the holy of holies, and they have borne their shame and their abominations that they have done, ¹⁴ and I made them keepers of the charge of the house, for all its service and for all that is done in it." ¹⁵ `And the priests, the Levites, sons of Zadok, who have kept the charge of My sanctuary in the wandering of the sons of Israel from off Me, they draw near unto Me to serve Me, and have stood before Me, to bring near to Me fat and blood--an affirmation of the Lord Yahweh:" ¹⁶ they come in unto My sanctuary, and they draw near unto My table to serve Me, and they have kept My charge."

¹² For anyone who has, to him shall be given, and he shall have a superfluity. Yet anyone who has not, that also which he has shall be taken away from him."

⁴³ Therefore am I saying to you that the kingdom of God shall be taken away from you and shall be given to a nation producing its fruits.

²⁸ Take the talent away from him then, and give it to the one who has ten talents.'" ²⁹ For to everyone who has shall be given, and he shall have a superfluity, yet from the one who has not, that also which he has shall be taken away from him;"

²⁵ For he who has, it shall be given to him; and he who has not, even what he has shall be taken away from him."

¹⁸ Beware, then, how you are hearing! For whoever may have, to him shall be given, and whoever may not have, from him shall be taken away also what he is supposed to have."

³ Now the administrator said in himself, 'What shall I be doing, seeing that my lord will be wresting the administration from me? To dig I am not strong enough."

¹ After these things there was a festival of the Jews, and Jesus went up into Jerusalem." ² Now there is, in Jerusalem, at the sheep gate, a pool, which is termed, in Hebrew, "Bethesda,having five porticos." ³ In these were laid down a multitude of the infirm, blind, lame, withered, waiting for the stirring of the water."

²⁰ For it is written in the scroll of the Psalms, Let his domicile become desolate, And let no one be dwelling in it, and 'Let his supervision be taken by another.' "

³ and you have endurance, and you bear because of My name, and are not wearied."

¹¹ I am coming swiftly! Hold what you have, that no one may be taking your wreath."

³⁶ The men whom Moses had sent to explore the land, who had returned and caused the whole congregation to grumble against him by bringing forth a disparaging muttering about the land, ³⁷ those men who were bringing forth evil mutterings of the land died by a stroke before Yahweh.

³⁰ Yet should Yahweh create an unprecedented creation so that the ground opens wide its mouth, swallows them up with all that belongs to them, and they descend alive to the unseen, then you will know that these mortals have spurned Yahweh. ³¹ It came to be as he finished speaking all these words that the ground which was under them was rent, ³² and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up with their households and all the humans who were with Korah and all the goods. ³³ So they descended, they and all who belonged to them, alive to the unseen; and the earth covered over them, and they perished from the midst of the assembly. ³⁴ Yet all Israel who were around them fled at their voice, for they said:Lest the earth swallow us up. ³⁵ Then fire came forth from Yahweh and devoured the two hundred fifty men who were bringing near the incense.

³ Let us pull away their bonds, And let us fling off their ropes from us. ⁴ The One sitting in the heavens, He shall ridicule; Yahweh, He shall deride them. ⁵ Then He shall speak to them in His anger, And in His hot anger He shall fill them with panic, saying,

⁹ You shall smash them with a club of iron; Like a vessel of a potter, You shall shatter them.

⁸ Your hand shall find all Your enemies; Your right hand, it shall find those hating You." ⁹ You shall make them like a fiery stove in the era of Your presence. Yahweh shall swallow them up in His anger, And fire shall devour them."

²² Let their table become a trap before them, And a repayment and a snare." ²³ Let their eyes be darkened, kept from seeing, And let their waist be bowed low continually." ²⁴ Pour out Your indignation upon them, And let Your hot anger overtake them." ²⁵ Let their domicile become desolate; Let no one be dwelling in their tents. ²⁶ As for You, they persecute those whom You have smitten, And they are recounting the pain of those wounded by You." ²⁷ Do bestow depravity on their depravity, And let them not come into Your righteousness." ²⁸ Let them be wiped out from the scroll of life, And let them not be written with the righteous."

⁶ A sound of tumult from the city! A sound from the temple! The voice of Yahweh repaying requital to His enemies!

¹⁴ And you see it, and your heart is elated, and your bones, as verdure, shall bud, and the hand of Yahweh shall be known with His servants, yet it menaces His enemies."

² An El, jealous and avenging, is Yahweh. An avenger is Yahweh, and possessor of fury. An avenger is Yahweh to His foes, and a transporter is He of his enemies."

⁸ And with a passing overflow He will make a finish of her place, and His enemies will He pursue into darkness."

³⁷ Yet subsequently he dispatches to them his son, saying, 'They will be respecting my son.'" ³⁸ Yet the farmers, perceiving the son, said among themselves, 'This is the enjoyer of the allotment. Hither! We should be killing him and have the enjoyment of his allotment.'" ³⁹ And taking him they cast him out of the vineyard and kill him. ⁴⁰ Whenever, then, the lord of the vineyard may be coming, what will he be doing to those farmers? ⁴¹ They are saying to Him, "Evil men! Evilly will he be destroying them, and the vineyard will he be leasing to other farmers, who will be rendering the fruits to him in their seasons."

⁷ Now the king is angered, and, sending his troops, destroys those murderers and sets their city in flames."

³⁴ Therefore, lo! I am dispatching to you prophets and wise men and scribes. Of them, some you will be killing and crucifying, and of them, some you will be scourging in your synagogues and persecuting from city to city, ³⁵ so that on you should be coming all the just blood shed on the earth, from the blood of just Abel until the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murder between the temple and the altar." ³⁶ Verily, I am saying to you: All these things will be arriving on this generation."

¹⁴ Now his citizens hated him, and they dispatch an embassy after him, saying, 'We do not want this man to reign over us!'"

⁴² saying that, "If you knew, even you, and surely in this day, what is for your peace-! Yet now it was hid from your eyes, ⁴³ for the days will be arriving on you, and your enemies will be casting up a rampart about you, and will be surrounding you, and will be pressing you everywhere, ⁴⁴ and will be leveling you and your children in you, and they will not be leaving a stone on a stone in you, because you knew not the era of your visitation."

¹⁶ He will be coming and destroying these farmers and will be giving the vineyard to others.Now those hearing say, "May it not be coming to that!"

²² for days of vengeance are these, to fulfill all that is written."

²⁴ And they shall be falling by the edge of the sword and shall be led into captivity into all nations. And Jerusalem shall be trodden by the nations, until the eras of the nations may be fulfilled."

¹⁵ who kill the Lord Jesus as well as the prophets, and banish us, and are not pleasing to God, and are contrary to all men, ¹⁶ forbidding us to speak to the nations that they may be saved, to fill up their sins always. Yet the indignation outstrips to them to a consummation."

¹³ waiting furthermore till His enemies may be placed as a footstool for His feet.

⁶ Sacrifice and approach present You do not desire, Yet a body have You prepared for me. The ascent approach and sin offering You do not ask for." ⁷ Then I said, Behold, I have come! In the roll of the scroll it is written concerning me;" ⁸ I delight to do what is acceptable to You, my Elohim, And Your law is in the midst of my internal parts."

³² Now they were on the road, going up into Jerusalem, and Jesus was preceding them. And they were awe-struck, yet those following feared. And, again taking the twelve aside, He begins to tell them what is about to be befalling Him, ³³ Lo! we are going up into Jerusalem, and the Son of Mankind will be given up to the chief priests and the scribes, and they will be condemning Him to death, and will be giving Him up to the men of the nations, ³⁴ and will be scoffing at Him, and spitting on Him, and scourging Him, and killing Him, and after three days He will be rising."

⁵¹ Now it occurred in the fulfillment of the days of His taking up, He fixes His face steadfastly to go to Jerusalem."

⁵⁰ Yet a baptism have I to be baptized with, and how I am being pressed till it should be accomplished!"

³¹ Now, taking aside the twelve, He said to them, "Lo! we are going up into Jerusalem, and all will be accomplished as to the Son of Mankind that is written through the prophets."

¹¹ Jesus, then, said to Peter, "Thrust the sword into the scabbard. The cup which the Father has given Me, may I by no means be drinking it?

² looking off to the Inaugurator and Perfecter of faith, Jesus, Who, for the joy lying before Him, endures a cross, despising the shame, besides is seated at the right hand of the throne of God."

¹ Christ, then, having suffered for our sakes in flesh, you also arm yourselves with the same thought, for he who is suffering in flesh has ceased his sins,

⁴ And His feet shall stand in that day on the mount of Olives, which is adjoining Jerusalem on the east. And the mount of Olives is rent in half; toward sunrise and seaward is a very great ravine, and half of the mountain removes northward, and half of it toward the south rim."

¹ And when they draw near to Jerusalem and came into Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, then Jesus dispatches two disciples, ² saying to them, "Go into the village facing you, and immediately you will be finding an ass, bound, and a colt with her. Loosing them, lead them to Me." ³ And if anyone should be saying anything to you, you shall be declaring that 'The Lord has need of them.' Now straightway he will be dispatching them." ⁴ Now the whole of this has occurred that that may be fulfilled which is declared through the prophet, saying, ⁵ Say to the daughter of Zion, Lo! your King is coming to you, Meek, and mounted on an ass, And on a colt, the foal of a yokebeast." ⁶ Now the disciples, going and doing according as Jesus arranges with them, ⁷ led the ass and the colt, and place garments on them, and He is seated upon them." ⁸ Now most of the throngs strew their own garments in the road, yet others chopped boughs from the trees and strewed them in the road." ⁹ Now the throngs preceding and following Him cried, saying, "Hosanna to the Son of David! 'Blessed be He Who is coming in the name of the Lord!' Hosanna among the highest!" ¹⁰ And at His entering into Jerusalem, the entire city is aquake, saying, "Who is this? ¹¹ Yet the throngs said, "this is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee."

¹⁷ And, leaving them, He came out of the city into Bethany and is camped out there."

¹ And when they are drawing near to Jerusalem and to Bethphage and to Bethany, toward the mount of Olives, He is dispatching two of His disciples, ² and He is saying to them, "Go into the village facing you, and straightway, going into it, you will be finding a colt, bound, on which not as yet any man is seated. Loose it and bring it." ³ And if anyone should be saying to you, 'What is this you are doing?' say that 'The Lord has need of it, and straightway He is dispatching it here again.'" ⁴ And they came away and found the colt bound to the door outside on the encircling road, and they are loosing it." ⁵ And some of those standing there said to them, ⁶ What are you doing, loosing the colt?Now they told them according as Jesus said, and they let them take it." ⁷ And they are bringing the colt to Jesus, and they are casting their own garments on it, and He is seated on it." ⁸ And many strew their own garments in the road, yet others, soft foliage, chopping it out of the fields, and strewed it on the road." ⁹ And those preceding and those following cried, saying, "Hosanna! Blessed be He Who is coming in the name of the Lord!" ¹⁰ And blessed be the coming kingdom of our father David in the name of the Lord! Hosanna among the highest!" ¹¹ And Jesus entered into Jerusalem and into the sanctuary. And looking all about, it being already the evening hour, He came out to Bethany with the twelve."

³⁷ Now at His already drawing near to the descent of the mount of Olives, the entire multitude of the disciples begins rejoicing, praising God with a loud voice concerning all the powerful deeds which they perceived,

³⁷ Now during the days, He was in the sanctuary, teaching. Yet during the nights, coming out, He camped out in the mount called Olivet."

³⁹ And, coming out, He went, according to His custom, into the mount of Olives. Now the disciples also follow Him."

⁵⁰ Now He led them out as far as to Bethany, and, lifting up His hands, He blesses them."

¹² On the morrow the vast throng, who are coming for the festival, hearing that Jesus is coming into Jerusalem, ¹³ got fronds of palms and came out to meet Him. And they clamored, saying, "Hosanna! Blessed is He Who is coming in the name of the Lord!and "The King of Israel!" ¹⁴ Now Jesus, finding a little ass, is seated on it, according as it is written, ¹⁵ Do not fear, daughter of Zion! Lo! your King is coming, sitting on an ass's colt." ¹⁶ Now these things are not known to His disciples at first, but when Jesus is glorified, then they are reminded that these things were written of Him and these things they do to Him."

¹² Then they return into Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem a sabbath's journey."

² In your going to-day from me--then you have found two men by the grave of Rachel, in the border of Benjamin, at Zelzah, and they have said unto you, The asses have been found which you have gone to seek; and lo, your father has left the matter of the asses, and has sorrowed for you, saying, What do I do for my son? ³ `And you have passed on thence, and beyond, and have come in unto the oak of Tabor, and found you there have three men going up unto Elohim to Beth-El, one bearing three kids, and one bearing three cakes of bread, and one bearing a bottle of wine, <sup>4</sup> and they have asked of you of welfare, and given to you two loaves, and you have received from their hand. <sup>5</sup> `Afterwards you do come unto the hill of Elohim, where the garrison of the Philistines [is], and it comes to pass, at your coming in thither to the city, that you have met a band of prophets coming down from the high place, and before them psaltery, and tabret, and pipe, and harp, and they are prophesying;" ⁶ and prospered over you has the Spirit of Yahweh, and you have prophesied with them, and have been turned to another man;" ⁷ and it has been, when these signs come to you--do for yourself as your hand finds, for Elohim [is] with you. ⁸ `And you have gone down before me to Gilgal, and lo, I am going down unto you, to cause to ascend burnt-offerings, to sacrifice sacrifices of peace-offerings; seven days you do wait till my coming in unto you, and I have made known to you that which you do do.. ⁹ And it has been, at his turning his shoulder to go from Samuel, that Elohim turns to him another heart, and all these signs come on that day,

³² Now, coming away, those who have been dispatched found it according as He said to them."

⁸ And He dispatches Peter and John, saying, "Go and make ready for us the passover, that we may be eating." ⁹ Yet they say to Him, "Where dost Thou want that we should be making ready to eat the passover? ¹⁰ Now He said to them, "Lo! at your entering into the city a man will meet with you, bearing a jar of water. Follow him into the house which he is entering." ¹¹ And you will be declaring to the householder of the house, saying, 'The Teacher is saying to you, "Where is My caravansary where I may be eating the passover with My disciples?'" ¹² And that man will be showing you a large upper room with places spread. ¹³ Now, coming away, they found it according as He had declared to them. And they make ready the passover."

²⁹ And now I have declared it to you ere it is occurring, that, whenever it may be occurring, you should be believing."

¹ {A Davidic Psalm{ Yahweh's is the earth and its fullness, The habitance and those dwelling in it."

¹⁰ For Mine is every animal of the wildwood, And domestic beasts by the thousands on My mountains." ¹¹ I know every flyer of the heavens, And the mammal of the field is before me." ¹² If I were famishing, I would not speak to you, For the habitance is Mine, and its fullness."

² saying to them, "Go into the village facing you, and immediately you will be finding an ass, bound, and a colt with her. Loosing them, lead them to Me." ³ And if anyone should be saying anything to you, you shall be declaring that 'The Lord has need of them.' Now straightway he will be dispatching them."

³ And if anyone should be saying to you, 'What is this you are doing?' say that 'The Lord has need of it, and straightway He is dispatching it here again.'" ⁴ And they came away and found the colt bound to the door outside on the encircling road, and they are loosing it." ⁵ And some of those standing there said to them, ⁶ What are you doing, loosing the colt?Now they told them according as Jesus said, and they let them take it."

³⁶ Of the word He dispatches to the sons of Israel, bringing the evangel of peace through Jesus Christ (He is Lord of all),

¹³ Now, coming away, they found it according as He had declared to them. And they make ready the passover."

⁹ Exult exceedingly, daughter of Zion! Shout, daughter of Jerusalem! Behold! your King shall come to you! Righteous and endowed with salvation is He. Humble and riding on an ass, and on a colt, the foal of a she-ass."

³⁵ If He said those were gods, to whom the word of God came (and the scripture can not be annulled),

¹⁶ Now these things are not known to His disciples at first, but when Jesus is glorified, then they are reminded that these things were written of Him and these things they do to Him."

⁹ For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, being rich, because of you He became poor, that you, by His poverty, should be rich."

¹³ And they haste and take each his garment, and put [it] under him at the top of the stairs, and blow with a trumpet, and say, `Reigned has Jehu!.

⁷ led the ass and the colt, and place garments on them, and He is seated upon them."

⁷ And they are bringing the colt to Jesus, and they are casting their own garments on it, and He is seated on it." ⁸ And many strew their own garments in the road, yet others, soft foliage, chopping it out of the fields, and strewed it on the road."

¹⁴ Now Jesus, finding a little ass, is seated on it, according as it is written,

¹⁵ Where, then, is your happiness? For I am testifying to you, that, if possible, gouging out your eyes, you would give them to me." ¹⁶ So that I have become your enemy by being true to you!

⁸ Now most of the throngs strew their own garments in the road, yet others chopped boughs from the trees and strewed them in the road."

¹ Then Moses and the sons of Israel sang this song to Yahweh and spoke saying: Let me sing to Yahweh, for He is august, yea august: The horse and its rider He heaved into the sea. ² Yah is my strength and my melody, and He become mine for salvation. This is my El; I shall adorn Him, Elohim of my father, I shall exalt Him. ³ Yahweh is a Man of war; Yahweh is His Name. ⁴ The chariots of Pharaoh and his army He shot into the sea, and the choice of his third fighters sank into the Sea of Weeds. ⁵ Abysses covered them; they descended into shadowy depths as a stone. ⁶ Your right hand, Yahweh, was ennobled in vigor; Your right hand, Yahweh, was harrying the enemy. ⁷ And by the vastness of Your pomp You were demolishing those rising against You; You were sending forth Your heat; it was devouring them as straw. ⁸ And by the wind of Your anger the waters were denuded, the floods were stood up as a waterspout; the abysses were curdled in the heart of the sea. ⁹ The enemy said: I shall pursue! I shall overtake! I shall apportion the loot! My soul's desire shall be fulfilled on them! I shall unsheathe my sword! My hand shall evict them! ¹⁰ You made a breeze with Your wind; the sea covered them. They submerged as lead in the noble waters. ¹¹ Who is like You among the elim, Yahweh? Who is like You, ennobled in holiness, fear-inspiring in praiseworthy deeds, working marvels? ¹² You stretched out Your right hand; the earth swallowed them up. ¹³ You guided in Your kindness this people You have redeemed; You will conduct them by Your strength to Your holy homestead. ¹⁴ The peoples have heard; they are disturbed. Travail, it has taken hold of the dwellers of Philistia. ¹⁵ Then the sheiks of Edom are flustered; the arbiters of Moab, quivering took hold of them. All the dwellers of Canaan are dissolved. ¹⁶ Dread and awe are falling on them; by the greatness of Your arm they are still as a stone, until Your people are passing by, Yahweh, until this people whom You have acquired are passing by. ¹⁷ You shall bring them in and plant them in the mount of Your allotment, the site for Your dwelling which You have contrived, Yahweh, the sanctuary, Yahweh, which Your hands have established. ¹⁸ Yahweh, He shall reign for the eon and further.

¹ And Deborah sings--also Barak son of Abinoam--on that day, saying:-. ² `For freeing freemen in Israel, For a people willingly offering themselves Bless you Yahweh. ³ Hear, you kings; give ear, you princes, I, to Yahweh, I--I do sing, I sing praise to Yahweh, Elohim of Israel. ⁴ Yahweh, in Your going forth out of Seir, In Your stepping out of the field of Edom, Earth trembled, also the heavens dropped, Also thick clouds dropped water. ⁵ Hills flowed from the face of Yahweh, This one--Sinai--From the face of Yahweh, Elohim of Israel. ⁶ In the days of Shamgar son of Anath--In the days of Jael--The ways have ceased, And those going in the paths go [in] crooked ways. ⁷ Villages ceased in Israel--they ceased, Till that I arose--Deborah, That I arose, a mother in Israel. ⁸ He chooses new elohims, Then war [is] at the gates! A shield is not seen--and a spear Among forty thousand in Israel. ⁹ My heart [is] to the lawgivers of Israel, Who are offering themselves willingly among the people, Bless you Yahweh!" ¹⁰ Riders on white asses--Sitters on a long robe--And walkers by the way--meditate! ¹¹ By the voice of shouters Between the places of drawing water, There they give out righteous acts of Yahweh, Righteous acts of His villages in Israel, Then ruled in the gates have the people of Yahweh. ¹² Awake, awake, Deborah; Awake, awake, utter a song; Rise, Barak, and take captive your captivity, Son of Abinoam. ¹³ Then him who is left of the honorable ones He caused to rule the people of Yahweh, He caused me to rule among the mighty. ¹⁴ Out of Ephraim their root [is] against Amalek. After you, Benjamin, among your peoples. Out of Machir came down lawgivers, And out of Zebulun those drawing with the reed of a writer. ¹⁵ And princes in Issachar [are] with Deborah, Yea, Issachar [is] right with Barak, Into the valley he was sent on his feet. In the divisions of Reuben, Great [are] the decrees of heart!" ¹⁶ Why have you abode between the boundaries, To hear lowings of herds? For the divisions of Reuben, Great [are] the searchings of heart!" ¹⁷ Gilead beyond the Jordan did tabernacle, And Dan--why does he sojourn [in] ships? Asher has abode at the haven of the seas, And by his creeks does tabernacle. ¹⁸ Zebulun [is] a people who exposed its soul to death, Naphtali also--on high places of the field. ¹⁹ Kings came--they fought; Then fought kings of Canaan, In Taanach, by the waters of Megiddo; Gain of money they took not!" ²⁰ From the heavens they fought:The stars from their highways fought with Sisera. ²¹ The brook Kishon swept them away, The brook most ancient--the brook Kishon. You do tread down strength, O my soul!" ²² Then broken were the horse-heels, By pransings--pransings of its mighty ones. ²³ Curse Meroz--said a messenger of Yahweh, Cursing, curse you its inhabitants, For they came not to the help of Yahweh, To the help of Yahweh among the mighty!" ²⁴ Blessed above women is Jael, Wife of Heber the Kenite, Above women in the tent she is blessed. ²⁵ Water he asked--milk she gave; In a lordly dish she brought near butter. ²⁶ Her hand to the pin she sends forth, And her right hand to the laborers' hammer, And she hammered Sisera--she smote his head, Yea, she smote, and it passed through his temple. ²⁷ Between her feet he bowed--He fell, he lay down; Between her feet he bowed, he fell; Where he bowed, there he fell--destroyed. ²⁸ Through the window she has looked out--Yea, she cries out--the mother of Sisera, Through the lattice:Wherefore is his chariot delaying to come? Wherefore tarried have the steps of his chariot? ²⁹ The wise ones, her princesses, answer her, Yea, she returns her sayings to herself. ³⁰ Do they not find? --they apportion spoil, A female--two females--for every head, Spoil of finger-work for Sisera, Spoil of embroidered finger-work, Finger-work--a pair of embroidered things, For the necks of the spoil!" ³¹ So do all Your enemies perish, O Yahweh, And those loving Him [are] As the going out of the sun in its might!' and the land rests forty years.

² and David rises and goes, and all the people who [are] with him, from Baale-Judah, to bring up thence the ark of Elohim, whose name has been called--the name of Yahweh of Hosts, inhabiting the cherubs--upon it. ³ And they cause the ark of Elohim to ride on a new cart, and lift it up from the house of Abinadab, which [is] in the height, and Uzzah and Ahio sons of Abinadab are leading the new cart;" ⁴ and they lift it up from the house of Abinadab, which [is] in the height, with the ark of Elohim, and Ahio is going before the ark, ⁵ and David and all the house of Israel are playing before Yahweh, with all kinds of [instruments] of fir-wood, even with harps, and with psalteries, and with timbrels, and with cornets, and with cymbals. ⁶ And they come unto the threshing-floor of Nachon, and Uzzah puts forth [his hand] unto the ark of Elohim, and lays hold on it, for they released the oxen;"

⁵⁵ and he stands and blesses all the assembly of Israel [with] a loud voice, saying, ⁵⁶ `Blessed [is] Yahweh who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He has spoken; there has not fallen one word of all His good word, which He spoke by the hand of Moses his servant.

²⁸ And all Israel are bringing up the ark of the covenant of Yahweh with shouting, and with the sound of a cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, sounding with psalteries and harps,

⁴ And he puts before the ark of Yahweh, of the Levites, ministers, even to make mention of, and to thank, and to give praise to Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, ⁵ Asaph the head, and his second Zechariah; Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, with instruments of psalteries, and with harps; and Asaph with cymbals is sounding;" ⁶ and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests [are] with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of Elohim. ⁷ On that day then has David given at the beginning to give thanks to Yahweh by the hand of Asaph and his brethren:--

²⁸ And all the assembly are doing obeisance, and the singers singing, and the trumpeters blowing; the whole [is] till the completion of the burnt-offering. ²⁹ And at the completion of the offering up bowed have the king and all those found with him, and do obeisance. ³⁰ And Hezekiah the king said, and the princes, to the Levites to give praise to Yahweh in the words of David, and of Asaph the seer, and they praise--unto joy, and they bow, and do obeisance.

³⁶ and rejoice does Hezekiah and all the people, because of Elohim's giving preparation to the people, for the thing has been suddenly.

¹⁰ When the builders laid the foundation of the temple of Yahweh, then priests clothed in their vestments, with bugles, and Levites (sons of Asaph) with cymbals, took their stand to praise Yahweh according to the acclamation directions of David king of Israel. ¹¹ They responded by praising and acclaiming Yahweh:For He is good, indeed His benignity toward Israel is for the eon. As for all the people, they shouted a loud shout in praising Yahweh because the foundation of the House of Yahweh had been laid. ¹² Many of the older priests and Levites and patriarchal heads who had seen the former House, were lamenting with a loud voice when the foundation of this House was laid before their eyes. Many others raised up the voice in shouting and rejoicing. ¹³ There was no one of the people recognizing the sound of the rejoicing shout from the sound of the lamenting of the people, for the people were shouting a loud shout, and the sound itself was heard even from afar.

¹² Then they believed His words; They sang His praise. ¹³ But they quickly forgot His deeds; They did not tarry for His counsel.

¹ And when they draw near to Jerusalem and came into Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, then Jesus dispatches two disciples,

³ And at His sitting on the mount of Olives, facing the sanctuary, Peter and James and John and Andrew inquired of Him privately,

²⁶ And, singing a hymn, they came out to the mount of Olives."

¹⁶ Now fear got all, and they glorified God, saying that "A great prophet was roused among us!and that "God visits His people!"

⁴³ And instantly he receives sight and followed Him, glorifying God. And the entire people, perceiving it, give praise to God."

²⁰ And a different one came, saying, 'Lord, lo! your mina which I had, reserved in a handkerchief."

¹² On the morrow the vast throng, who are coming for the festival, hearing that Jesus is coming into Jerusalem, ¹³ got fronds of palms and came out to meet Him. And they clamored, saying, "Hosanna! Blessed is He Who is coming in the name of the Lord!and "The King of Israel!"

¹⁷ His Name shall remain for the eon; Before the sun shall His Name be propagated, And all nations shall bless themselves in Him and call Him happy." ¹⁸ Blessed be Yahweh, Elohim, the Elohim of Israel, Doing marvelous works by Himself alone, ¹⁹ And blessed be His glorious Name for the eon! The entire earth shall be filled with His glory! {Amen and Amen.{

²² The stone which the builders rejected, It came to be for the head of the corner." ²³ From Yahweh came this; It is marvelous in our eyes. ²⁴ This is the day Yahweh has made; Let us exult and rejoice in it. ²⁵ Oh Yahweh, do save us! Oh Yahweh, do prosper us!" ²⁶ Blessed in the Name of Yahweh is he who is coming; We bless you from the House of Yahweh.

⁹ Now the throngs preceding and following Him cried, saying, "Hosanna to the Son of David! 'Blessed be He Who is coming in the name of the Lord!' Hosanna among the highest!"

³⁴ Then shall the King be declaring to those at His right, 'Hither, blessed of My Father! Enjoy the allotment of the kingdom made ready for you from the disruption of the world."

⁹ And those preceding and those following cried, saying, "Hosanna! Blessed be He Who is coming in the name of the Lord!" ¹⁰ And blessed be the coming kingdom of our father David in the name of the Lord! Hosanna among the highest!"

¹⁰ And the messenger said to them, "Fear not, for lo! I am bringing you an evangel of great joy which will be for the entire people, ¹¹ for today was brought forth to you a Saviour, Who is Christ, the Lord, ¹² in the city of David. And this is the sign to you: you will be finding a Babe, swaddled and lying in a manger." ¹³ And suddenly with the messenger there came to be a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying, ¹⁴ Glory to God among the Highest! And on earth peace, Among men, delight!"

³⁵ Lo! left to you is your house. Yet I am saying to you that by no means may you be perceiving Me till the time will be arriving when you should be saying, 'Blessed is He Who is coming in the name of the Lord!'"

¹ Being, then, justified by faith, we may be having peace toward God, through our Lord, Jesus Christ,

⁶ for the laud of the glory of His grace, which graces us in the Beloved:"

¹² that we should be for the laud of His glory, who are pre-expectant in the Christ."

¹⁴ For He is our Peace, Who makes both one, and razes the central wall of the barrier" ¹⁵ (the enmity in His flesh), nullifying the law of precepts in decrees, that He should be creating the two, in Himself, into one new humanity, making peace;" ¹⁶ and should be reconciling both in one body to God through the cross, killing the enmity in it." ¹⁷ And, coming, He brings the evangel of peace to you, those afar, and peace to those near, ¹⁸ for through Him we both have had access, in one spirit, to the Father."

¹⁰ that now may be made known to the sovereignties and the authorities among the celestials, through the ecclesia, the multifarious wisdom of God,

²¹ to Him be the glory in the ecclesia and in Christ Jesus for all the generations of the eon of the eons! Amen!

²⁰ and through Him to reconcile all to Him (making peace through the blood of His cross), through Him, whether those on the earth or those in the heavens."

¹⁷ Now to the King of the eons, the incorruptible, invisible, only, and wise God, be honor and glory for the eons of the eons! Amen!"

¹² To whom it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to you they dispensed them, of which you were now informed through those who are bringing the evangel to you by holy spirit dispatched from heaven, into which messengers are yearning to peer."

⁹ And they are singing a new song, saying, "Worthy art Thou to be taking the scroll and to open its seals, For Thou wast slain and dost buy us for God by Thy blood. Out of every tribe and language and people and nation." ¹⁰ Thou dost also make them a kingdom and a priesthood for our God, And they shall be reigning on the earth." ¹¹ And I perceived, and I hear a sound as of many messengers around the throne and the animals and the elders, and their number was ten thousand ten thousand and a thousand thousand, ¹² saying with a loud voice, "Worthy is the Lambkin slain To get power and riches and wisdom and strength And honor and glory and blessing!" ¹³ And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and underneath the earth and on the sea, and all in them, I hear also saying, "To Him Who is sitting on the throne-To the Lambkin-Be blessing and honor and glory and might For the eons of the eons!" ¹⁴ And the four animals said, "Amen!And the elders fall and worship."

¹ After these things I hear as it were the loud voice of a vast throng in heaven, saying, "Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power is of our God, ² for true and just is His judging, for He judges the great prostitute who corrupts the earth with her prostitution, and avenges the blood of His slaves at her hand." ³ And a second time have they declared, "Hallelujah!And her smoke is ascending for the eons of the eons." ⁴ And the twenty-four elders and the four animals fall and worship God, Who is sitting on the throne, saying, "Amen! Hallelujah!" ⁵ And a voice came out from the throne, saying, "Praise our God, all His slaves, and those who are fearing Him, the small and the great." ⁶ And I hear as it were the voice of a vast throng, and as it were the sound of many waters, and as it were the sound of strong thunders, saying, "Hallelujah! for the Lord our God, the Almighty reigns!"

¹¹ Yahweh, Your exalted hand they will fail to perceive. Yet they shall perceive and be shamed by the zeal of the disciplined people. Indeed, the fire of Your foes will devour them."

¹⁵ Now the chief priests and the scribes, perceiving the marvels which He does, and the boys crying in the sanctuary and saying, "Hosanna to the Son of David!resent it, ¹⁶ and say to Him, "Are you hearing what these are saying?Yet Jesus is saying to them, "Yes. Did you never read that 'Out of the mouth of minors and sucklings Thou dost attune praise'?

¹³ Now woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you are locking the kingdom of the heavens in front of men. For you are not entering, neither are you letting those entering to enter."

⁴⁷ The chief priests and the Pharisees, then, gathered a Sanhedrin and said, "What are we doing, seeing that this man is doing many signs? ⁴⁸ If we should be leaving him thus, all will be believing in him, and the Romans will come and take away our place as well as our nation."

¹⁰ Yet the chief priests also plan that they should be killing Lazarus also,

¹⁹ The Pharisees, then, say to themselves, "You are beholding that you are benefiting nothing. Lo! the world came away after him!"

¹ Now at their speaking to the people, the priests and the officer of the sanctuary and the Sadducees stand by them, ² being exasperated because of their teaching the people and announcing in Jesus the resurrection from among the dead.

¹⁶ saying, "What should we be doing to these men? For, indeed, that a known sign has occurred through them is apparent to all who are dwelling at Jerusalem, and we can not deny it." ¹⁷ But, lest it may be disseminated more among the people, we should be threatening them that by no means should they still be speaking in this Name to any man." ¹⁸ And calling them, they give them a sweeping charge, not to utter aught, nor yet to be teaching in the name of Jesus."

⁵ Or are you supposing that the scripture is saying this for naught? Is the spirit which dwells in us longing to envy?

¹¹ Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth exult, Let the sea thunder and its fullness,

⁷ Let the sea thunder, and its fullness, The habitance and those dwelling in it." ⁸ The streams, let them clap with the palm, ⁹ The mountains, let them be jubilant together before Yahweh. For He comes to judge the earth; He shall judge the habitance in righteousness, And the peoples with equity."

¹ When Israel went forth from Egypt, The house of Jacob from a barbarous people, ² Judah became His sanctuary, Israel, His dominion." ³ The sea, it looked and fled; The Jordan, it turned around backward." ⁴ The mountains, they danced like rams, The hills like the young of the flock." ⁵ What is it with you, O sea, that you are fleeing, Jordan, that you are turning around backward, ⁶ Mountains, that you are dancing like rams. Hills, like the young of the flock? ⁷ At the presence of the Lord, travail, O earth, At the presence of the Elohim of Jacob, ⁸ The One Who turned the rock into a pond of water, The flintstone into a spring of water."

¹² For with rejoicing shall you go forth, and with welfare shall you be fetched. The mountains and the hills shall crash into jubilation before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap their palms."

¹¹ for the stone from the sidewall shall cry out, and the knot from the timber shall answer it."

⁹ And you should not be presuming to be saying among yourselves, 'For a father we have Abraham,' for I am saying to you that able is God, out of these stones to rouse children to Abraham.

⁴⁵ Now from the sixth hour darkness came over the entire land till the ninth hour.

⁵¹ And lo! the curtain of the temple is rent in two from above to the bottom, and the earth quaked, and the rocks are rent, ⁵² and the tombs were opened. And many bodies of the reposing saints were roused, ⁵³ and, coming out of the tombs after His rousing, they entered into the holy city and are disclosed to many." ⁵⁴ Now the centurion and those with him who are keeping Jesus, perceiving the quake and the occurrences, were tremendously afraid, saying, "Truly this was God's Son!"

⁶ and condemns the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, reducing them to cinders by an overthrow, having placed them as an example for those about to be irreverent:"

⁵³ A simoon storm has taken hold of me because of the wicked Who are forsaking Your law.

¹³⁶ Rillets of water, they descend from my eyes Because men do not keep Your law."

¹⁵⁸ I see the treacherous, and I am disgusted Because they do not keep Your promise close."

¹ Who does make my head waters, And mine eye a fountain of tears? And I weep by day and by night, For the wounded of the daughter of my people."

¹⁷ And if you do not hear it, In secret places does my soul weep, because of pride, Yea, it weeps sore, And the tear comes down mine eyes, For the flock of Yahweh has been taken captive."

¹⁶ And I hastened not from feeding after You, And the desperate day I have not desired, You--You have known, The produce of my lips, before Your face it has been,

⁸ How shall I dispense to you, Ephraim? Shall I award you, Israel? How shall I dispense to you as Admah? Shall I make you as Zeboim? My heart is turned in Me; my comfortings are fervid together."

³⁴ Jerusalem! Jerusalem! killing the prophets and pelting with stones those who have been dispatched to her! How many times do I want to assemble your children in the manner a hen does her brood under her wings, and you will not!" ³⁵ Lo! left to you is your house. Yet I am saying to you that by no means may you be perceiving Me till the time will be arriving when you should be saying, 'Blessed is He Who is coming in the name of the Lord!'"

³⁵ Jesus weeps.

² 2 That my sorrow is great, and unintermittent pain is in my heart -" ³ for I myself wished to be anathema from Christ - for my brethren, my relatives according to the flesh,

²⁹ O that their heart might become this way with them:to fear Me and to observe all My instructions all the days, that it might be well with them and with their sons for the eon.

²⁹ O that they were wise; they would proceed intelligently in this; they would understand about their latter days!

⁶ Concerning this, let every benign one pray to You in a season of finding; Surely at the overflowing of many waters They shall not attain to him."

¹³ O that My people were hearkening to Me, And Israel were walking in My ways!"

⁷ For He is our Elohim, And we are the people of His pasture And the flock of His hand. Today, if His voice you should hear, ⁸ You must not be stiffening your heart as in the contention, As in the day of trial in the wilderness,

⁹ And He is saying to me, "Go, and say to this people:`Hear you to hear, yet you must not be understanding." ¹⁰ And see you to see, yet you must not be knowing. Stouten the heart of this people, and their ears make heavy, and their eyes make squint. Lest they are seeing with their eyes, and with their ears are hearing, and with their heart are understanding, and, turning back, then healing is theirs."

¹⁰ For Yahweh has libated on you a spirit of stupor. And He is restraining your eyes, that is, the prophets, and your heads, the vision seers, He covers." ¹¹ And to you are all visions becoming as the words of a sealed scroll, which they are giving him acquainted with the scroll, saying, "Read this, pray.And he says, "I cannot, for it is sealed." ¹² And the scroll is given to one who is not acquainted with the scroll, saying, "Read this, pray.And he says, "I am not acquainted with a scroll." ¹³ And saying is Yahweh, "Forasmuch as close to Me is this people with their mouth, and with their lips they glorify Me, yet their heart is far from Me, and their fear of Me is becoming as the instruction of mortals' teaching." ¹⁴ Wherefore, behold Me! I will proceed to distribute this people, and I am distributing them. And perish shall the wisdom of their wise, and the understanding of their understanding ones shall conceal itself."

¹⁸ They do not know, nor are they understanding, for He plasters their eyes, from seeing, and their hearts, from intelligence."

¹⁸ O that you attended to My instructions! Then your welfare will become as a stream, and your righteousness as billows of the sea."

⁶ Inquire for Yahweh while He is to be found; call Him while He comes to be near.

³¹ Cast from off you all your transgressions, By which you have transgressed, And make to you a new heart, and a new spirit, And why do you die, O house of Israel? ³² For I have no pleasure in the death of the dying, An affirmation of the Lord Yahweh, And turn you back and live!"

¹¹ Say unto them, I live--an affirmation of the Lord Yahweh, I delight not in the death of the wicked, But--in the turning of the wicked from his way, And he has lived, Turn back, turn back, from your evil ways, Yea, why do you die, O house of Israel?

¹⁴ And filled up in them is the prophecy of Isaiah, that is saying, '"In hearing, you will be hearing, and may by no means be understanding, And observing, you will be observing, and may by no means be perceiving." ¹⁵ For stoutened is the heart of this people, And with their ears heavily they hear, And with their eyes they squint, Lest at some time they may be perceiving with their eyes, And with their ears should be hearing, And with their heart may be understanding, And should be turning about, And I shall be healing them.'"

⁷⁷ To give the knowledge of salvation to His people In the pardon of their sins, ⁷⁸ Because of the merciful compassions of our God, In which the Dayspring from on high visits us, ⁷⁹ To make Its advent to those sitting in darkness and the shadow of death, To direct our feet into the path of peace."

⁵ Now into whatever house you may be entering, first say, 'Peace to this household!'" ⁶ And if a son of peace should be there, your peace will be resting on it; otherwise, surely it will come back on you."

⁴⁴ and will be leveling you and your children in you, and they will not be leaving a stone on a stone in you, because you knew not the era of your visitation."

³⁵ Jesus, then, said to them, "Still a little time the light is among you. Be walking while you have the light, lest the darkness may be overtaking you. And he who is walking in the darkness is not aware whither he is going." ³⁶ As you have the light, be believing in the light, that you may be becoming sons of light.These things Jesus speaks, and, coming away, He was hid from them."

³⁸ that the word of Isaiah the prophet, which he said, may be being fulfilled, "Lord, who believes our tidings? And the arm of the Lord, to whom was it revealed? ³⁹ Therefore they could not believe, seeing that Isaiah said again" ⁴⁰ that He has blinded their eyes and callouses their heart, lest they may be perceiving with their eyes, and should be apprehending with their heart, and may be turning about, and I shall be healing them." ⁴¹ These things Isaiah said, seeing that he perceived His glory, and speaks concerning Him."

⁴⁶ Being bold, both Paul and Barnabas, say, "To you first was it necessary that the word of God be spoken. Yet, since, in fact, you are thrusting it away, and are judging yourselves not worthy of eonian life, lo! we are turning to the nations."

²⁵ Now there being disagreements one with another, they were dismissed, Paul making one declaration, that, "Ideally the holy spirit speaks through Isaiah the prophet, to your fathers, ²⁶ saying, 'Go to this people and say, "In hearing, you will be hearing, and may by no means be understanding, And observing, you will be observing, and may by no means be perceiving, ²⁷ For stoutened is the heart of this people, And with their ears heavily they hear, And with their eyes they squint, Lest at some time they may be perceiving with their eyes, And with their ears should be hearing, And with their heart may be understanding, And should be turning about, And I shall be healing them.'"

⁷ What then? What Israel is seeking for, this she did not encounter, yet the chosen encountered it. Now the rest were calloused, ⁸ even as it is written, God gives them a spirit of stupor, eyes not to be observing, and ears not to be hearing, till this very day." ⁹ And David is saying, Let their table become a trap and a mesh, And a snare and a repayment to them:" ¹⁰ Darkened be their eyes, not to be observing, And their backs bow together continually."

¹⁴ But their apprehensions were calloused, for until this very day the same covering is remaining at the reading of the old covenant, not being uncovered." ¹⁵ for only in Christ is it being nullified. But till today, if ever the reading of Moses should be reached, a covering is lying on their heart." ¹⁶ Yet if ever it should reach a turning back to the Lord, the covering is taken from about it.)"

³ Now, if our evangel is covered, also, it is covered in those who are perishing, ⁴ in whom the god of this eon blinds the apprehensions of the unbelieving so that the illumination of the evangel of the glory of Christ, Who is the Image of the invisible God, does not irradiate them."

¹ Now, working together, we are also entreating you not to receive the grace of God for naught." ² For He is saying, "In a season acceptable I reply to you, And in a day of salvation I help you.Lo! Now is a most acceptable era! Lo! Now is a day of salvation!"

⁹ whose presence is in accord with the operation of Satan, with all power and signs and false miracles" ¹⁰ and with every seduction of injustice among those who are perishing, because they do not receive the love of the truth for their salvation." ¹¹ And therefore God will be sending them an operation of deception, for them to believe the falsehood, ¹² that all may be judged who do not believe the truth, but delight in injustice."

⁷ Wherefore, according as the holy spirit is saying, "Today, if ever His voice you should be hearing,

¹³ But entreat yourselves each day, until what is called "today,lest anyone of you may be hardened by the seduction of sin."

¹⁵ while it is being said, "Today, if ever His voice you should be hearing, You should not be hardening your hearts as in the embitterment."

²⁶ For at our sinning voluntarily after obtaining the recognition of the truth, it is no longer leaving a sacrifice concerned with sins, ²⁷ but a certain fearful waiting for judging and fiery jealousy, about to be eating the hostile." ²⁸ Anyone repudiating Moses' law is dying without pity on the testimony of two or three witnesses. ²⁹ Of how much worse punishment, are you supposing, will he be counted worthy who tramples on the Son of God, and deems the blood of the covenant by which he is hallowed contaminating, and outrages the spirit of grace?

²⁴ and to Jesus, the Mediator of a fresh covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling which is speaking better than Abel." ²⁵ Beware! You should not be refusing Him Who is speaking! For if those escaped not, refusing the One apprizing on earth, much rather we, who are turning from the One from the heavens, ²⁶ Whose voice then shakes the earth. Yet now He has promised, saying, Still once more shall I be quaking, not only the earth, but heaven also."

⁴⁹ Yahweh shall lift up against you a nation from afar, from the end of the earth, just as the vulture swoops down, a nation whose tongue you have not heard, ⁵⁰ a nation strong of face who neither lifts the face of the old one with partiality nor is gracious to the youth. ⁵¹ It will devour the fruit of your beast and the fruit of your ground until you are exterminated, a nation who shall not let grain, grape juice or clarified oil, the calving of your domestic animals or the lambing of your flock remain for you, until it destroys you. ⁵² It will lay siege against you in all your gates until your lofty and defended walls in which you will be trusting come down in all your land; and he will lay siege against you in all your gates in all your land that Yahweh your Elohim will have given to you. ⁵³ Then you will eat the fruit of your own belly, the flesh of your sons and your daughters whom Yahweh your Elohim will have given to you, in the siege and in the constraint with which your enemy shall constrain you. ⁵⁴ The tender-hearted man among you and the one very fastidious, his eye shall be evil toward his brother and toward the wife of his bosom and toward the rest of his sons whom he shall have left, ⁵⁵ so as to keep from giving to one of them the flesh of his sons that he is eating because nothing at all remains for him in the siege and in the constraint with which your enemy shall constrain you in all your gates. ⁵⁶ The tender-hearted woman among you, and the fastidious one, who would not try to put the sole of her foot on the earth because of fastidiousness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom and toward her son and toward her daughter, ⁵⁷ even for her afterbirth coming forth from between her feet, even for her sons whom she is bearing, for she shall eat them for lack of everything, in concealment during the siege and during the constraint with which your enemy shall constrain you in your gates. ⁵⁸ Should you not observe to obey all the words of this law, the ones written in this scroll, to fear the name of this glorified and fear-inspiring One, Yahweh your Elohim,

¹² The wicked one is scheming against the righteous one, And is gnashing his teeth at him." ¹³ Yahweh, He is ridiculing him, For He sees that his day shall come."

¹ Woe! Ariel! Ariel! The town of the camp of David. Your progeny gather year after year. Celebrations are they compassing. ² Yet I constrain Ariel, and there comes complaint and complaining. And it comes to be to Me as a lion subjector, ³ and I camp as David against you, and I besiege you with siege works, and I raise against you towers, ⁴ and abased, from the earth are you speaking, and from the soil, prostrated is your saying, and your voice comes, as a medium, from the earth, and your saying is chirping from the soil."

³³ Wherefore, thus says Yahweh as to the king of Assyria:"He shall not come into this city, and not direct an arrow there, and he shall not precede it with a shield, and he shall not pour out against it an earthwork."

³ Unto her come do shepherds and their droves, They have stricken tents by her round about, They have fed each [in] his own station." ⁴ Sanctify you against her the battle, Rise, and we go up at noon. Woe to us, for turned has the day, For stretched out are the shades of evening, ⁵ `Rise, and we go up by night, And we destroy her palaces.'" ⁶ For thus said Yahweh of Hosts:Cut down her wood, And pour out against Jerusalem a mount, She [is] the city to be inspected, Wholly--she is oppression in her midst."

² and have placed against it a siege, and builded against it a fortification, and poured out against it a mount, and placed against it camps, yea, set you against it battering-rams round about."

⁸ Your daughters in the field by sword he slays, And he has made against you a fort, And has poured out against you a mount, And has raised against you a buckler."

²⁶ After the sixty-two sevens, Messiah will be cut off, and there is no adjudication for Him. The city and the holy place shall be laid in ruins with the other governor's coming; then its end is by an overflow, and till the end of the war desolations will be decided." ²⁷ Then he will be master of a covenant with many for one seven:At half of the seven, he will cause to cease the sacrifice and the approach present; on a wing of the sanctuary shall be desolating abominations. Till the conclusion of the era the decided conclusion will be poured forth on the desolation."

³⁷ Jerusalem! Jerusalem! who art killing the prophets and pelting with stones those who have been dispatched to her! How many times do I want to assemble your children in the manner a hen is assembling her brood under her wings-and you will not!" ³⁸ Lo! left is your house to you desolate. ³⁹ For I am saying to you: You may by no means be perceiving Me henceforth, till you should be saying, 'Blessed is He Who is coming in the name of the Lord!'"

¹⁴ Now whenever you may be perceiving the abomination of desolation, declared by Daniel the prophet, standing where it must not (let the reader apprehend), then let those in Judea flee into the mountains." ¹⁵ Now let him who is on the housetop not be descending into the house, neither let him enter, to pick up anything out of his house." ¹⁶ And let him who is in the field not turn back to that behind, to pick up his cloak." ¹⁷ Now woe to those who are pregnant and those suckling in those days!" ¹⁸ Now be praying that your flight may not be occurring in winter, ¹⁹ for in those days will be affliction such as has not occurred from the beginning of the creation which God creates till now, and under no circumstances may be occurring." ²⁰ And, except the Lord discounts the days, no flesh at all would be saved. But because of the chosen, whom He chooses, He discounts the days."

²⁰ Now whenever you may be perceiving Jerusalem surrounded by encampments, then know that her desolation is near." ²¹ Then let those in Judea flee into the mountains, and let those in her midst be coming out into the country, and let not those in the country be entering into her, ²² for days of vengeance are these, to fulfill all that is written." ²³ Yet woe to those who are pregnant, and to those suckling in those days; for there will be great necessity in the land and indignation on this people." ²⁴ And they shall be falling by the edge of the sword and shall be led into captivity into all nations. And Jerusalem shall be trodden by the nations, until the eras of the nations may be fulfilled."

⁷ then I have cut off Israel from the face of the ground that I have given to them, and the house that I have hallowed for My name I send away from My presence, and Israel has been for a simile and for a byword among all the peoples;" ⁸ as to this house, [that] is high, every one passing by it is astonished, and has hissed, and they have said, Wherefore has Yahweh done thus to this land and to this house?

⁹ Happy is he who shall hold and shatter your unweaned children Against the crag.

⁸ A sin has Jerusalem sinned; therefore she has become an isolated woman; All who glorified her count her abject, for they have seen her nakedness; Indeed she herself sighs and turns away back."

²⁴ Seventy sevens are segregated for your people and for your holy city:To detain transgression, to cause sin to end, to make a propitiatory shelter for depravity; to bring the righteousness of the eons, to seal the vision and the prophet, to anoint the holy of holies."

¹² Wherefore, due to you, Zion shall be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become rubbish heaps, and the mountain of the house fane heights of a wildwood."

³⁷ Jerusalem! Jerusalem! who art killing the prophets and pelting with stones those who have been dispatched to her! How many times do I want to assemble your children in the manner a hen is assembling her brood under her wings-and you will not!" ³⁸ Lo! left is your house to you desolate.

² Yet He, answering, said to them, "Are you not observing all these? Verily, I am saying to you, Under no circumstances may a stone here be left on a stone, which shall not be demolished."

² And answering, Jesus said to him, "Are you observing these great buildings? Under no circumstances may a stone be left here on a stone, which may not by all means be demolished."

⁶⁸ Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, For He visits, and makes a redemption for His people,

⁷⁸ Because of the merciful compassions of our God, In which the Dayspring from on high visits us,

⁴² saying that, "If you knew, even you, and surely in this day, what is for your peace-! Yet now it was hid from your eyes,

⁶ These which you are beholding-there will be coming days in which not a stone will be left here on a stone, which will not be demolished."

¹⁸ He who is believing in Him is not being judged; yet he who is not believing has been judged already, for he has not believed in the name of the only-begotten Son of God." ¹⁹ Now this is the judging: that the light has come into the world, and men love the darkness rather than the light, for their acts were wicked." ²⁰ For everyone who is committing bad things is hating the light and is not coming to the light, lest his acts may be exposed." ²¹ Now he who is doing the truth is coming to the light that his acts may be made manifest, for they have been wrought in God."

¹² having your behavior among the nations ideal, that in that in which they are speaking against you as of evildoers, by being spectators of ideal acts they should be glorifying God in the day of visitation."

²⁵ then you will convert it into silver, bundle the silver in your hand and go to the place that Yahweh your Elohim shall choose. ²⁶ You will give the silver for anything after which your soul may yearn:for one of the herd or one of the flock, for wine, for intoxicant or for anything which your soul may ask of you; then you will eat there before Yahweh your Elohim, and you will rejoice, you and your household.

¹² And Jesus entered into the sanctuary and cast out all those selling and buying in the sanctuary, and the tables of the brokers He overturns, and the seats of those selling doves." ¹³ And He is saying to them, "It is written, 'My house a house of prayer shall be called,' yet you are making it a burglars' cave."

¹⁵ And they are coming into Jerusalem. And Jesus, entering into the sanctuary, begins to cast out those selling and those buying in the sanctuary, and the tables of the brokers and the seats of those selling doves He overturns." ¹⁶ And He did not give leave that anyone may be carrying a vessel through the sanctuary. ¹⁷ And He taught and said to them, "Is it not written that 'My house a house of prayer shall be called, for all nations'? Yet you make it a burglars' cave."

¹³ And near was the Passover of the Jews, and Jesus went up into Jerusalem." ¹⁴ And He found in the sanctuary those selling oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers sitting." ¹⁵ And, making a whip out of ropes, He casts all out of the sanctuary, both the sheep and the oxen, and He pours out the change of the brokers and overturns the tables." ¹⁶ And to those selling doves He said, "Take these away hence, and do not be making My Father's house a house for a merchant's store." ¹⁷ Now His disciples are reminded that it is written: "The zeal of Thy house will be devouring Me."

⁵ Your testimonies are very faithful; Holiness befits Your House, For length of days, O Yahweh."

⁷ I bring them also to My holy mountain, and I make them rejoice in My house of prayer. Their ascent approaches and their sacrifices shall ascend for acceptance on My altar, for My house a house of prayer shall be called, for all the peoples,

¹¹ A den of burglars has this house, On which My name is called, been in your eyes? Even I, lo, I have seen, an affirmation of Yahweh."

¹² This [is] a law of the house:on the top of the mountain, all its border all round about [is] most holy; lo, this [is] a law of the house."

⁷ Ephraim is a trafficker; in his hand are scales of deceit; he loves to extort.

²³ And at His coming into the sanctuary, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to Him while He was teaching, saying, "By what authority are you doing these things, and who gives you this authority?

³ Then the chief priests and the elders of the people were gathered in the courtyard of the chief priest, who is termed Caiaphas, ⁴ and they plan that they should be laying hold of Jesus by guile and should be killing Him.

⁵⁵ In that hour Jesus said to the throngs, "As for a robber, you come out with swords and cudgels to apprehend Me! Daily was I seated with you, teaching in the sanctuary, and you do not hold Me."

¹⁸ And the chief priests and the scribes hear, and they sought how they should be destroying Him, for they feared Him, for the entire throng was astonished at His teaching."

²⁷ And they are coming again into Jerusalem. And at His walking in the sanctuary, the chief priests and the scribes and the elders are coming to Him, ²⁸ and they said to Him, "By what authority are you doing these things, or who gives you this authority, that you may be doing these things? ²⁹ Now Jesus, answering, said to them, "I also will be inquiring of you one word, and answer Me, and I will be declaring to you by what authority I am doing these things." ³⁰ The baptism of John - whence was it? Was it of heaven or of men? Answer Me!" ³¹ And they reasoned with themselves, saying, "If we should be saying, 'Of heaven,' he will be declaring, 'Wherefore then, do you not believe him?'" ³² But may we be saying, 'Of men'?They feared the people, for all had it that John really was a prophet." ³³ And answering Jesus, they are saying, "We are not aware.And answering, Jesus is saying to them, "Neither am I telling you by what authority I am doing these things."

¹² And they sought to hold Him, and they were afraid of the throng, for they know that He spoke the parable to them. And, leaving Him, they came away."

¹ Now it was the Passover and the unleavened bread after two days. And the chief priests and the scribes sought how, laying hold of Him by guile, they should be killing Him."

³⁷ Now during the days, He was in the sanctuary, teaching. Yet during the nights, coming out, He camped out in the mount called Olivet." ³⁸ And the entire people came early to Him in the sanctuary, to hear Him"

¹⁹ Has not Moses given you the law? And not one of you is doing the law! Why are you seeking to kill Me?

⁴⁴ Yet some of them wanted to arrest Him, but no one lays hands on Him."

³⁷ I am aware that you are Abraham's seed. But you are seeking to kill Me, for My word has no room in you." ³⁸ What I have seen with My Father am I speaking. You also, then, what you hear from your father are doing." ³⁹ They answered and say to Him, "Our father is Abraham.Jesus answered them, "If you are children of Abraham, did you ever do the works of Abraham? ⁴⁰ Yet now you are seeking to kill Me, a Man Who has spoken to you the truth which I hear from God. This Abraham does not do."

³⁹ They sought, then, to arrest Him again, and He came out of their hands."

⁵³ From that day, then, they consult that they should kill Him." ⁵⁴ Jesus, then, no longer walked with boldness among the Jews, but came away thence into the country near the wilderness, into a city termed Ephraim, and there He remains with His disciples." ⁵⁵ Now near was the Passover of the Jews, and many went up into Jerusalem out of the country, before the Passover, that they should be purifying themselves." ⁵⁶ They, then, sought Jesus, and said, standing with one another in the sanctuary, "What do you suppose? That He may under no circumstances come to the festival? ⁵⁷ Now the chief priests and the Pharisees had given directions that if anyone should know where He is, he should be divulging it, so that they should be arresting Him."

²⁰ And Jesus answered him, "I with boldness have spoken to the world. I always teach in a synagogue and in the sanctuary where all the Jews are coming together, and in hiding I speak nothing."

³ and he reads in it before the broad place that [is] before the water-gate, from the light till the middle of the day, over-against the men, and the women, and those intelligent, and the ears of all the people [are] unto the book of the law.

¹⁵ Then, being gone, the Pharisees held a consultation, so that they should be trapping Him by a word." ¹⁶ And they are dispatching to Him their disciples, with the Herodians, saying, "Teacher, we are aware that you are true, and are teaching the way of God in truth, and you are not caring concerning anyone, for you are not looking at the face of men."

¹⁹ And the scribes and the chief priests seek to lay hands on Him in this hour, and they were afraid of the people, for they know that He told this parable in regard to them. " ²⁰ And scrutinizing Him, they dispatch eavesdroppers, feigning themselves to be just, that they may get hold of a word of His, so as to give Him up to the sovereignty and the jurisdiction of the governor."

² And the chief priests and the scribes sought how they may be assassinating Him, for they feared the people." ³ Yet Satan entered into Judas, called Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve." ⁴ And, coming away, he confers with the chief priests and officers how he may be giving Him up to them."

⁴⁶ Now the deputies answered, "Never speaks a man thus!" ⁴⁷ The Pharisees, then, answered them, "Not you also are deceived? ⁴⁸ Not any of the chiefs believes in him, or of the Pharisees." ⁴⁹ But this throng that knows not the law is accursed."

¹⁴ And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple of the city of Thyatira, revering God, heard, whose heart the Lord opens up to heed what is spoken by Paul."
