⁴² Jesus is saying to them, "Did you never read in the scriptures, 'The stone which is rejected by the builders, This came to be for the head of the corner. From the Lord came this, and it is marvelous in our eyes'?

²² The stone which the builders rejected, It came to be for the head of the corner." ²³ From Yahweh came this; It is marvelous in our eyes.

¹⁶ Wherefore, thus says my Lord Yahweh, "Behold Me laying in Zion a foundation stone, a choice stone, a corner of a precious well-founded foundation. The believer on it shall not be put to shame."

⁵ See, despisers, and look, and be utterly amazed, for I contrive a contrivance in your days you will not believe though it were being related."

⁸ Hear, pray, Joshua, the great priest, you and your associates who are sitting before you, for mortals of a miracle are they, for behold Me bringing My servant, the Sprout." ⁹ For behold the stone which I bestow before Joshua; on one stone are seven facets. Behold Me engraving its graving, (averring is Yahweh of hosts), and I remove all the depravity of that land in one day."

¹⁰ Did you not yet read this scripture? - 'The stone which is rejected by the builders, This came to be for the head of the corner." ¹¹ From the Lord came this, and it is marvelous in our eyes.'"

¹⁷ Yet He, looking at them, said, "What, then, is this that is written, 'The stone which is rejected by the builders, This came to be for the head of the corner'? ¹⁸ Everyone falling on that stone shall be shattered, yet on whomever it should be falling, it will be scattering him like chaff."

¹¹ This is the Stone that is being scorned by you builders, which is becoming the head of the corner."

⁴⁰ Beware then, that that which has been declared in the prophets may not be coming on you:" ⁴¹ Perceive, you despisers, and marvel, and disappear! for a work am I working in your days - a work which you should by no means be believing if anyone should be detailing it to you."

³³ according as it is written: Lo! I am laying in Zion a Stumbling Stone and a Snare Rock, And the one believing on Him shall not be disgraced."

²⁰ being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, the capstone of the corner being Christ Jesus Himself,

³ for by revelation the secret is made known to me (according as I write before, in brief, ⁴ by which you who are reading are able to apprehend my understanding in the secret of the Christ, ⁵ which, in other generations, is not made known to the sons of humanity as it was now revealed to His holy apostles and prophets): in spirit" ⁶ the nations are to be joint enjoyers of an allotment, and a joint body, and joint partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus, through the evangel" ⁷ of which I became the dispenser, in accord with the gratuity of the grace of God, which is granted to me in accord with His powerful operation." ⁸ To me, less than the least of all saints, was granted this grace: to bring the evangel of the untraceable riches of Christ to the nations, ⁹ and to enlighten all as to what is the administration of the secret, which has been concealed from the eons in God, Who creates all,

⁴ Whom approaching, a living Stone, having been rejected indeed by men, yet chosen by God, held in honor, ⁵ you, also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, into a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, most acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. " ⁶ Because of this it is included in the scripture: Lo! I am laying in Zion a corner capstone, chosen, held in honor, and he who is believing on it may by no means be disgraced." ⁷ To you, then, who are believing, is the honor, yet to the unbelieving: "A Stone which is rejected by the builders, this came to be for the head of the corner, ⁸ and a stumbling stone and a snare rock; who are stumbling also at the word, being stubborn, to which they were appointed also."
