²¹ He who despises his associate is sinning, Yet happy is he who is gracious to the humble."

¹³ If I have rejected the plea of my servant and my maidservant When they have brought a contention against me, ¹⁴ Then what shall I do when El arises, And when He visits, what shall I reply to Him? ¹⁵ Did not He Who made me in the belly make him also, So that the same One prepared us both in the womb?

⁵ Look at the heavens and see; Regard the skies; they are loftier than you. ⁶ If you sin, what effect do you have on Him, And if your transgressions are many, what do you do to Him?

²⁴ For He has neither despised Nor abominated the humiliation of the humbled, And He has not concealed His face from him. But when he implored to Him, He hearkened."

¹ {A Davidic Psalm{ Happy is he who is acting intelligently toward the poor and needy; In a day of peril, Yahweh shall provide his escape." ² Yahweh, He shall guard him and preserve his life; He shall make him happy in the land, And He shall certainly not give him over to the soul's desires of his enemies."

⁵ It is good when a man is gracious and obliging; He shall sustain his affairs with right judgment.

⁹ He disperses; he gives to the needy; His righteousness is standing into the future; His horn shall be exalted in glory.

¹² One who despises his associate has lack of heart wisdom, But the man of comprehension keeps silence."

²⁴ There is one who disperses yet is enhanced more, And another who keeps back more than what is upright yet ends only with a lack." ²⁵ The soul who gives a blessing is conferred with richness, And he who waters, he himself shall be watered also."

³¹ He who extorts from the poor shows reproach to his Maker, Yet he glorifies Him who is gracious to the needy."

⁵ He who derides the destitute one reproaches his Maker; He who rejoices at calamity shall not be held innocent.

³ When wickedness comes, so also comes contempt, And with dishonor comes reproach."

¹⁷ He who is gracious to a poor man obligates Yahweh, And He shall pay his requital to him."

²⁷ He who gives to the destitute person shall have no lack, Yet for him who obscures his eyes from them are many curses."

¹ Send forth your bread on the surface of the water, For after many days you shall find it." ² Give a portion to seven, yea even to eight, For you do not know what evil may come upon the earth."

⁷ Is it not to share your bread with the famishing, and the humble, brought down, shall you bring home? In case you are seeing the naked, then you cover him with a cloak? And from your own flesh you are not obscuring yourself? ⁸ Then your light shall be rent as the dawn, and your longevity with haste shall sprout. And there goes before you your righteousness. And the glory of Yahweh shall gather about you." ⁹ Then you will call, and Yahweh will answer, you will implore, and He will say, "Behold Me!You should take away from your midst the slider bar, and the pointing of the finger and speaking lawlessness, ¹⁰ and promote for the famishing the bread for your soul, and the humbled soul shall you satisfy. Then radiant will be your light in the darkness, and your gloom as the noon." ¹¹ And you are guided by Yahweh continually, and He satisfies, on a garish day, your soul. And your bones will He liberate. And you become as a soaked garden, and as a vent of water whose waters are not defaulting." ¹² And built by you shall be places deserted for the eon. The foundations of generation after generation shall you raise. And you shall be called, "Diker of the breach, restorer of tracks you ceased to use."

²⁷ Only, O king, may my counsel to you be seemly:Break off your sins by being just, and your depravities by being gracious to the humble, in case your days of ease should be lengthened."

³⁴ Then shall the King be declaring to those at His right, 'Hither, blessed of My Father! Enjoy the allotment of the kingdom made ready for you from the disruption of the world." ³⁵ For I hunger and you give Me to eat' I thirst and you give Me drink; a stranger was I and you took Me in; ³⁶ naked and you clothed Me; infirm am I and you visit Me; in jail was I and you come to Me.' ³⁷ Then the just will be answering Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we perceive Thee hungering and nourish Thee, or thirsting and we give Thee drink? ³⁸ Now when did we perceive Thee a stranger and took Thee in, or naked and we clothed Thee? ³⁹ Now when did we perceive Thee infirm, or in jail, and we came to Thee?'" ⁴⁰ And, answering, the King shall be declaring to them, 'Verily, I am saying to you, In as much as you do it to one of these, the least of My brethren, you do it to Me.'" ⁴¹ Then shall He be declaring to those also at His left, 'Go from Me, you cursed, into the fire eonian, made ready for the Adversary and his messengers." ⁴² For I hunger and you do not give Me to eat; I thirst and you do not give Me drink; ⁴³ a stranger was I and you did not take Me in; naked and you did not clothe Me; infirm and in jail and you did not visit Me.' ⁴⁴ Then shall they also be answering, saying, 'Lord, when did we perceive you hungering or thirsting, or a stranger, or naked, or infirm, or in jail, and we did not serve you?'" ⁴⁵ Then shall He be answering them, saying, 'Verily, I am saying to you, In as much as you do it not to one of these, the least, neither do you it to Me.'" ⁴⁶ And these shall be coming away into chastening eonian, yet the just into life eonian."

³⁰ Now you, be giving to everyone who is requesting, and from him who is taking away what is yours be not demanding it." ³¹ And, according as you are wanting that men may be doing to you, you also be doing to them likewise." ³² And if you are loving those loving you, what thanks is it to you? For sinners also are loving those loving them." ³³ And if you should be doing good to those doing good to you, what thanks is it to you? For sinners also are doing the same." ³⁴ And if you should ever be lending to those from whom you are expecting to get back, what thanks is it to you? For sinners also are lending to sinners, that they may get back the equivalent." ³⁵ Moreover, be loving your enemies, and be doing good, and be lending, expecting nothing from them, and your wages will be vast in the heavens, and you will be sons of the Most High, for He is kind to the ungrateful and wicked." ³⁶ Become, then, pitiful, according as your Father also is pitiful."

⁹ Now He said, also, to some who have confidence in themselves that they are just, and are scorning the rest, this parable:"

³⁵ All I intimate to you, that, thus toiling, you must be supporting the infirm. Besides, remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'Happy is it to give rather than to get.'"

¹² that you may not be becoming dull. Now be imitators of those who through faith and patience are enjoying the allotment of the promises.

⁵ Hear, my beloved brethren! Does not God choose the poor in the world, rich in faith and enjoyers of the allotment of the kingdom which He promises to those who are loving Him? ⁶ Yet you dishonor the poor one. Are not the rich tyrannizing over you? And they are drawing you to tribunals.

¹⁴ What is the benefit, my brethren, if anyone should be saying he has faith, yet may have no works? That faith can not save him." ¹⁵ If a brother or sister should be belonging to the naked, and lacking nourishment for the day, ¹⁶ yet someone from among you may be saying to them, "Go away in peace, be warmed and satisfied,yet you may not be giving them the requisites for the body, what is the benefit?

¹⁷ Now whoever may be having a livelihood in this world, and may be beholding his brother having need, and should be locking his compassions from him - how is the love of God remaining in him? ¹⁸ Little children, we should not be loving in word, neither in tongue, but in act and truth." ¹⁹ And in this shall we be knowing that we are of the truth and shall be persuading our hearts in front of Him, ²⁰ seeing that, if our heart should be censuring us, God is greater than our heart, and He knows all." ²¹ Beloved, if our heart should not be censuring us, we have boldness toward God, ²² and whatsoever we may be requesting, we are obtaining from Him, for we are keeping His precepts and are doing what is pleasing in His sight."
