⁴ I am reckoned with descenders to the crypt; I become like a master who is without stamina,

¹ My spirit is devitalized; My days are extinct; The tombs are ready for me.

¹ {Davidic{ To You, O Yahweh, am I calling out; My Rock, O do not turn from me in silence. Lest, if You should hush to me, I would become comparable with descenders to the crypt."

⁹ What gain is there in my blood poured out, In my descending to the grave? Does soil acclaim You? Does it tell Your faithfulness?

¹² I was forgotten, like a dead man, out of heart; I became like a lost vessel."

²² For humbled and needy am I, And my heart, it is wounded within me." ²³ Like a shadow as it stretches out, I fade away; I am shaken off like a locust." ²⁴ My knees, they stumble from fasting, And my flesh, it is emaciated for want of oil."

⁷ Quickly answer me, O Yahweh; my spirit is exhausted; O do not conceal Your face from me, Or I would become comparable with descenders to the crypt."

¹⁷ Behold! For welfare there is bitterness to me; very great bitterness. Yet You are attached to my soul, to keep it from the ruin of decay, for You do fling behind Your body all my sins." ¹⁸ For the unseen is not acclaiming You, nor is death praising You, and those descending into a crypt are not looking forward to Your truth."

²⁰ And I have caused you to go down, With those going down to the pit, Unto the people of old, And I have caused you to dwell in the land, The lower parts--in wastes of old, With those going down to the pit, So that you are not inhabited, And I have given beauty in the land of the living."

⁶ I go down to the fashioning points of the mountains; the earth, its bars are about me for the eon, yet You wilt bring up my life from ruin, Yahweh, my Elohim."

⁶ For Christ, while we are still infirm, still in accord with the era, for the sake of the irreverent, died."

⁹ But we have the rescript of death in ourselves, that we may be having no confidence in ourselves, but in God, Who rouses the dead,

⁴ For even if He was crucified out of weakness, nevertheless He is living by the power of God. For we also are weak together with Him, but we shall be living together with Him by the power of God for you. "
