And so be it, on the second first shabbath, he goes through the spores; and his disciples pluck the kernels and eat rubbing them in their hands.

¹⁵ seven days you eat matsah; surely the first day you shabbathize yeast from your houses: for whoever eats fermentation from the first day until the seventh day, that soul becomes cut off from Yisra El.

⁷ On the first day, have a holy convocation: work no service work therein:

¹⁰ Word to the sons of Yisra El and say to them, When you come into the land I give you and harvest the harvest thereof, bring an omer of the firsts of your harvest to the priest: ¹¹ and he waves the omer at the face of Yah Veh at your pleasure: the priest waves it on the morrow after the shabbath:

At that season, on the shabbath, Yah Shua goes through the spores; and his disciples famish and begin to pluck the cobs and eat. ² And the Pharisees see, and say to him, Behold, your disciples do what is not allowed to do in shabbath. ³ And he says to them, Read you not what David did when he famished - he and those with him; ⁴ how he entered the house of Elohim and ate the prothesis bread - which neither he is allowed to eat nor them with him - except only the priests? ⁵ Or read you not in the torah, how that in the shabbaths the priests in the priestal precinct profane the shabbath and are unaccused? ⁶ But I word to you, That a greater than the priestal precinct is here. ⁷ But if you had known what this is, I will mercy, and not sacrifice, you had not adjudged the unaccused. ⁸ For the Son of humanity is Adonay even of the shabbath. ^{Hosea 6:6}
