¹ ¶ Therefore, brethren, saints, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus,

⁴ The LORD has sworn and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

³ The ox knows his owner, and the ass his master’s crib; but Israel does not know, my people do not have understanding.

¹² And the harp and the viol, the tambourine and flutes and wine are in their feasts; but they do not regard the work of the LORD, nor consider the work of his hands.

²⁰ That they may see and know and take warning and understand together that the hand of the LORD does this, and the Holy One of Israel has created it.

³ Therefore, thou son of man, prepare thee stuff for moving and move by day in their sight and thou shalt move from thy place to another place in their sight: they will not see for they are a rebellious house.

²⁸ Because he saw and left all his rebellions that he has committed, he shall surely live; he shall not die.

⁵ Now therefore thus hath the LORD of the hosts said; Consider your ways.

¹⁵ And now, I pray you, consider in your heart from this day forth, from before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of the LORD:

²¹ Then Jesus said to them again, Peace be unto you; as my Father has sent me, even so send I you.

²⁷ Then he said to Thomas, Reach here thy finger and behold my hands and reach here thy hand and thrust it into my side and be not unbelieving, but faithful.

⁶ among whom ye are also the called of Jesus Christ; ⁷ to all that are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints; ye have grace and peace of God our Father and of the Lord Jesus, the Christ.

²⁸ And we now know that unto those who love God, all things help them unto good, to those who according to the purpose are called to be saints. ²⁹ ¶ For unto those whom he knew beforehand, he also marked out beforehand the way that they might be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. ³⁰ And unto those whom he did mark out beforehand the way, to these he also called; and to whom he called, these he also justified; and to whom he justified, these he also glorified.

²⁴ Even us, whom he has called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles!

¹⁷ And if some of the branches were broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them and hath been made participant of the root and of the fatness of the olive tree,

⁸ Now I say that Christ Jesus, was a minister of the circumcision, by the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers;

²⁷ It has pleased them verily, and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, they should also minister unto them in carnal things.

² unto the congregation {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones} of God which is at Corinth, to those that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be holy, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

²³ And this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I might be partaker together of it.

¹⁷ For one loaf of bread means that many are one body, for we are all partakers of that one loaf.

⁷ ¶ And our hope of you is steadfast, being certain, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.

⁶ that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs and of the same body and partakers of his promise in the Christ by the gospel,

¹ ¶ I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation with which ye are called,

⁴ There is one body and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling,

¹⁴ I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

¹² ¶ giving thanks unto the Father, who has made us worthy to participate in the inheritance of the saints in light,

²² in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight

¹² ¶ Clothed, therefore, (as the elect of God, holy and beloved) with bowels of mercies, with kindness, with humility, with meekness, with tolerance,

¹² that ye would walk worthy of God, who has called you unto his kingdom and glory.

²⁷ I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren.

¹¹ ¶ Therefore in this manner we pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of his calling and fill each will with goodness and the work of faith with power

¹⁴ unto which he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

² And those that have faithful masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren, but rather serve them better, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. Teach and exhort this.

¹² Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, unto which thou art also called, having made a good profession before many witnesses.

⁹ who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the times of the ages,

⁷ Understand what I say, that the Lord shall give thee understanding in all things.

¹¹ For both he that sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all of one, for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

¹⁷ Therefore in all things he should be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make atonement for the sins of the people.

¹⁴ For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end;

¹⁴ Having, therefore, a great high priest who penetrated the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast this profession of our hope. ¹⁵ For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

¹ ¶ For every high priest is taken from among men, constituted on behalf of men in things relating to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins, ² who can have compassion on the ignorant and on those that are in error; for he himself is also compassed with weakness. ³ And by reason of this he ought, as for the people so also for himself, to offer for sins. ⁴ And no one takes this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron. ⁵ So also the Christ did not glorify himself to make himself high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son; today have I begotten thee. ⁶ As he said also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. ⁷ Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, was heard because of his reverent fear; ⁸ although he was the Son of God, yet he learned obedience by the things which he suffered; ⁹ and being made perfect, he became the author of eternal saving health unto all those that hearken unto him, ¹⁰ ¶ named by God high priest after the order of Melchisedec.

²⁰ where our precursor, Jesus, has entered for us and is made high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

²⁶ For it was expedient that we have such a high priest, who is holy, innocent, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens,

¹ ¶ Now of the things which we have spoken, this is the sum: We have such a high priest who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, ² a minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man. ³ For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices; therefore, it is also necessary that this one have something to offer.

¹¹ But Christ being now come, high priest of the good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation,

²¹ and having that great priest over the house of God,

⁹ But ye are the chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, an acquired people, that ye should show forth the virtues of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.

⁵ For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who waited upon God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands,

¹ ¶ The elders who are among you I exhort (I am also an elder with them and a witness of the afflictions of the Christ, and also a participant of the glory that shall be revealed).

¹⁰ ¶ But the God of all grace, who has called us unto his eternal glory by Jesus, the Christ, after ye have suffered a little while, he himself perfects, confirms, strengthens, and establishes you.

³ as all things that pertain to life and to godliness are given us of his divine power, through the knowledge of him that has called us by his glory and virtue, ⁴ whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises, that by these ye might be made participants of the divine nature, having fled the corruption that is in the world through lust. ⁵ ¶ Ye also, giving all diligence to the same, show forth virtue in your faith; and in virtue, knowledge; ⁶ and in knowledge, temperance; and in temperance, patience; and in patience, fear of God; ⁷ and in fear of God, brotherly love; and in brotherly love, charity. ⁸ For if these things are in you and abound, they shall not let you be idle nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. ⁹ But he that lacks these things is blind and walks feeling the way with his hand, having forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. ¹⁰ Therefore, brethren, give all the more diligence to make your calling and election sure; for doing these things, ye shall never fall.

³ that which we have seen and heard we declare unto you, that ye also may have communion with us; and truly our communion is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.

¹ ¶ Jude, slave of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to those that are called, sanctified in God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ:

¹⁴ ¶ These shall make war against the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them; for he is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those that are with him are called and chosen and faithful.

²⁰ Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye saints, apostles, and prophets; for God has judged your cause upon her.
