¹ ¶ And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud; and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: ² And he had in his hand a little open book, and he set his right foot upon the sea and his left foot upon the land ³ And cried out with a loud voice as when a lion roars; and when he had cried out, seven thunders uttered their voices. ⁴ And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write, and I heard a voice from heaven, saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders have spoken and do not write them. ⁵ And the angel whom I saw standing upon the sea and upon the land lifted up his hand to heaven ⁶ and swore by him that lives for ever and ever, who created the heaven and the things that are therein, and the earth, and the things that are therein, and the sea and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer; ⁷ but in the day of the voice of the seventh angel when he shall begin to sound the trumpet, the mystery of God shall be finished, as he did evangelize unto his slaves the prophets. ⁸ ¶ And the voice which I heard from heaven spoke unto me again and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel who stands upon the sea and upon the land. ⁹ And I went unto the angel and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. ¹⁰ And I took the little book from the angel’s hand and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. ¹¹ And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again as to many peoples and nations and tongues and kings.

¹¹ that I will establish my covenant with you, that all flesh shall not be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. ¹² ¶ And God said, This is the sign of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living soul that is with you, for perpetual ages: ¹³ I set my bow in the clouds, and it shall be for a sign of a covenant between me and the earth. ¹⁴ And it shall come to pass when I bring clouds over the earth, that the bow shall appear in the clouds; ¹⁵ and I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living soul of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. ¹⁶ And the bow shall be in the clouds, and I will look upon it that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living soul of all flesh that is upon the earth. ¹⁷ And God said unto Noah, This shall be the sign of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.

¹⁰ And it came to pass as Aaron spoke unto the whole congregation of the sons of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud.

² and the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron, thy brother, that he not enter at all times into the sanctuary inside the veil before the seat of reconciliation, which is upon the ark, that he not die; for I will appear in the cloud above the seat of reconciliation.

² Clouds and darkness are round about him; righteousness and judgment are the seat of his throne.

³ who dost establish his chambers between the waters, who makes the clouds his chariot, who walks upon the wings of the wind,

¹⁵ His legs are as pillars of marble, set upon sockets of fine gold; his countenance is as Lebanon, chosen as the cedars.

¹ ¶ The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rides upon a swift cloud and shall come into Egypt, and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.

⁹ For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so I have sworn that I would not be wroth again with thee, nor reprehend thee.

⁴⁴ Samech Thou hast covered thyself with a cloud that our prayer should not pass through.

²⁸ that looked like the bow of heaven that is in the clouds in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the vision of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And I saw it and fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke.

¹³ I saw in the vision of the night, and, behold, in the clouds of heaven like a Son of man that came and drew near unto the Elder of great age, and they brought him near before him.

⁶ his body was like the stone of Tarsis turquoise, and his face as a bolt of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to brilliant brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of an army.

² and [he] was transfigured before them, and his face shined as the sun, and his raiment was as white as the light.

²⁷ And then they shall see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

¹³ at midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and those who journeyed with me.

⁷ Behold, he comes with the clouds, and every eye shall see him and those also who pierced him; and all kindreds of the earth shall wail over him. Even so, Amen.

¹⁵ and his feet like unto brilliant metal as if they burned in a furnace and his voice as the sound of many waters. ¹⁶ And he had in his right hand seven stars, and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword, and his countenance was as the sun when it shines in its strength.

³ And he that was seated was like a jasper and a sardine stone to look upon; and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.

² And I saw a strong angel preaching with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book and to loose its seals?

¹ ¶ And after these things I saw four angels standing upon the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth that no wind should blow upon the earth nor upon the sea nor upon any tree. ² And I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, having the seal of the living God: and he cried out with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the land and the sea,

² And I saw the seven angels which stood before God, and to them were given seven trumpets. ³ And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense of the prayers of all the saints, that he should offer upon the golden altar which was before the throne. ⁴ And the smoke of the incense of the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand. ⁵ And the angel took the censer and filled it with fire of the altar and cast it into the earth; and there were voices and thunderings and lightnings and an earthquake.

¹³ And I saw and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, who are yet to sound their trumpets!

¹³ ¶ And the sixth angel sounded the trumpet, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before the presence of God, ¹⁴ saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, Loose the four angels who are bound in the great river Euphrates.

⁵ And the angel whom I saw standing upon the sea and upon the land lifted up his hand to heaven ⁶ and swore by him that lives for ever and ever, who created the heaven and the things that are therein, and the earth, and the things that are therein, and the sea and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer;

¹⁴ And I looked, and, behold, a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown and in his hand a sharp sickle. ¹⁵ And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that was seated on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle and reap; for the hour is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is dry.

⁸ Ask of me, and I shall give thee the Gentiles for thine inheritance and unto the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

⁵ With tremendous things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our saving health, who art the hope of all the ends of the earth and of those that are afar off upon the sea:

¹⁵ By me the kings reign, and the princes decree justice. ¹⁶ By me the princes rule, and all of the governors judge the earth.

¹⁹ So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he shall come like a violent river impelled by the breath {Spirit} of the LORD.

⁹ And I looked, and behold, a hand was sent unto me; and in it was the roll of a book, ¹⁰ and he spread it before me; and it was written within and without; and there was written therein lamentations and mourning and woes.

¹⁸ And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

²⁰ which operated in the Christ, raising him from the dead and setting him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, ²¹ far above all principality and power and might and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come, ²² And has put all things under his feet and gave him to be the head over all things to the congregation {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones},

¹⁰ that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven and things in earth and things under the earth, ¹¹ and that every tongue should confess that the Lord Jesus Christ is Lord in the glory of God the Father.

¹ ¶ And I saw in the right hand of him that was seated on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. ² And I saw a strong angel preaching with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book and to loose its seals? ³ And no one was able not in the heaven nor in the earth neither under the earth to open the book neither to look upon it. ⁴ And I wept much because no one was found worthy to open the book nor to read it neither to look upon it. ⁵ And one of the elders said unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, who has overcome to open the book and to loose its seven seals.

¹ ¶ And I saw when the Lamb had opened the first seal, and I heard the first of the four animals, saying as with a voice of thunder, Come and see.

³ ¶ And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second animal, which said, Come and see.

⁵ And the angel whom I saw standing upon the sea and upon the land lifted up his hand to heaven

⁸ ¶ And the voice which I heard from heaven spoke unto me again and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel who stands upon the sea and upon the land. ⁹ And I went unto the angel and said unto him, Give me the little book. ¹² ¶ The king’s wrath is as the roaring of a lion, but his favour is as dew upon the grass.

²⁹ their roaring shall be like a lion: they shall roar like young lions; they shall gnash their teeth and lay hold of the prey and shall carry it away safe, and none shall deliver it.

⁴ For thus has the LORD spoken unto me, Like the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, even if a multitude of shepherds come forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voices, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of the hosts come down to fight for Mount Zion and for his hill.

¹³ ¶ The LORD shall go forth as a giant; he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war; he shall cry out a battle cry; he shall prevail against his enemies.

³⁰ ¶ Therefore, thou shalt prophesy against them all these words, and say unto them, The LORD shall roar from on high and from the habitation of his holiness he shall utter his voice; in fury he shall roar upon his habitation; he shall sing the song of those that tread grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth.

¹⁶ The LORD also shall roar out of Zion and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake; but the LORD will be the hope of his people and the strength of the sons of Israel.

² And he said, The LORD will roar from Zion and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the pastors shall be destroyed, and the top of Carmel shall wither.

⁸ The lion has roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD has spoken, who can but prophesy?

⁵ And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices; and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

⁵ And the angel took the censer and filled it with fire of the altar and cast it into the earth; and there were voices and thunderings and lightnings and an earthquake.

² And I heard a voice from heaven as the voice of many waters and as the voice of a great thunder; and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps;

¹ ¶ And I saw another sign in the heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is completed the wrath of God.

⁷ And one of the four animals gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who lives for ever and ever.

²⁹ The hidden things of the LORD our God are uncovered unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

¹ ¶ Moreover the LORD said unto me, Take a great roll and write in it with a man’s pen concerning Mahershalal-hashbaz. {Heb. Hurry to the spoil, make haste to the prey}

¹⁶ ¶ Bind up the testimony; seal the law among my disciples.

¹¹ And every vision is unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which if it were delivered to one that knows how to read, saying, Read this, I pray thee: he shall say, I cannot; for it is sealed:

²⁶ And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true; therefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days.

⁴ But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end: many shall pass by, and knowledge shall be multiplied.

⁹ And he said, Go thy way, Daniel, for these words are closed up and sealed until the time of the fulfillment.

² And the LORD answered me and said, Write the vision and make it plain upon tables that he may run that reads it. ³ For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak and not lie; though it tarry, wait for it because it will surely come; wait for it.

¹¹ that said, I AM the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, and What thou seest, write in a book and send it unto the seven congregations {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones} which are in Asia: unto Ephesus and unto Smyrna and unto Pergamos and unto Thyatira and unto Sardis and unto Philadelphia and unto Laodicea.

¹ ¶ Unto the angel of the congregation {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones} of Ephesus write; These things, saith he that holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands: ² I know thy works and thy labour and thy patience and how thou canst not bear those who are evil; and thou hast tried those who say they are apostles and are not and hast found them liars, ³ and hast suffered, and doth suffer and for my name’s sake hast laboured and hast not fainted.

¹⁰ And he said unto me, do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book; for the time is at hand.

¹ ¶ In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. ² And the earth was without order, and empty; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

²² And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lifted up my hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of the heavens and of the earth,

¹⁵ ¶ And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time ¹⁶ and said, By myself I have sworn, said the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son;

⁸ And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning which I raised my hand to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it unto you for a heritage: I am the LORD.

¹¹ for in six days the LORD made the heavens and earth, the sea, and all that is in them and rested the seventh day; therefore, the LORD blessed the sabbath day and sanctified it.

⁴⁰ When I shall lift up my hand to the heavens and shall say, I live for ever,

⁶ Thou, O LORD, art alone; thou hast made the heavens and the heavens of the heavens, with all their host, the earth and all things that are therein, the seas and all that is therein, and thou givest life to them all; and the host of the heavens worship thee.

³ For the LORD is a great God and a great King above all gods. ⁴ In his hand are the deep places of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also. ⁵ The sea is his, and he made it; and his hands formed the dry land. ⁶ O come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

⁵ ¶ Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God;

¹ ¶ Halelu-JAH. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens; praise him in the heights. ² Praise ye him, all his angels; praise ye him, all his hosts. ³ Praise ye him, sun and moon; praise him, all ye stars of light. ⁴ Praise him, ye heavens of heavens and ye waters that are above the heavens. ⁵ Let them praise the name of the LORD; for he commanded, and they were created. ⁶ He has established them for ever and ever: he has made a law which shall not be broken. ⁷ ¶ Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons and all deeps,

¹⁰ But the LORD God is the Truth, he himself is Living God and Everlasting King: at his wrath the earth trembles, and the Gentiles shall not be able to abide his indignation. ¹¹ Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens or the earth, even they shall perish from the earth and from under these heavens. ¹² He that makes the earth by his power, he that orders the world with his wisdom and extends the heavens with his intelligence: ¹³ at his voice, there is given a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causes the clouds to ascend from the ends of the earth; he makes the lightnings with the rain and brings forth the wind out of his treasures.

⁵ ¶ And say unto them, Thus hath the Lord GOD said; In the day when I chose Israel and lifted up my hand for the seed of the house of Jacob and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt when I lifted up my hand unto them, saying, I am the LORD your God;

¹⁵ Yet I also lifted up my hand unto them in the wilderness, with an oath that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the most beautiful of all lands,

²³ I lifted up my hand unto them also in the wilderness with an oath that I would scatter them among the Gentiles and disperse them through the countries

²⁸ For when I had brought them into the land, for which I lifted up my hand to give it to them, then they saw every high hill and all the thick trees, and they offered there their sacrifices, and there they presented the provocation of their offerings; there also they made their sweet savour and poured out there their drink offerings.

⁴² And ye shall know that I am the LORD when I shall bring you into the land of Israel, into the land for which I lifted up my hand to give it to your fathers.

⁷ therefore thus hath the Lord GOD said: I have lifted up my hand, Surely the Gentiles that are about you: they shall bear their shame.

¹⁴ And ye shall inherit it, one as well as another, concerning that which I lifted up my hand that I must give it unto your fathers: therefore, this land shall fall unto you for inheritance.

⁷ And I heard the Man clothed in linens, who was upon the waters of the river, who raised his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and swore by the living one in the ages that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when the scattering of the power of the holy people shall be finished, all these things shall be fulfilled.

¹⁵ and saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all the things that are therein,

²³ For as I passed by and beheld your sanctuaries, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him I declare unto you.

²⁰ For the invisible things of him, his eternal power and divinity, are clearly understood by the creation of the world and by the things that are made so that there is no excuse;

¹³ For when God promised unto Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he swore by himself,

¹⁸ and he that lives and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen, and have the keys of Hades and of death.

⁹ And when those animals give glory and honour and praise to the one that is seated on the throne, who lives for ever and ever,

¹¹ Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and virtue; for thou hast created all things, and by thy will they have their being and were created.

⁷ saying with a loud voice, Fear God and give glory to him, for the hour of his judgment is come; and worship him that has made the heaven and the earth and the sea and the fountains of waters.

¹⁷ ¶ And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of the heaven from the throne, saying, It is done.

⁷ Because the Lord GOD will do nothing unless he reveals his secret to his slaves the prophets.

⁴⁴ And he said unto them, These are the words which I spoke unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the law of Moses and in the prophets and in the psalms, concerning me. ⁴⁵ Then he opened their understanding that they might understand the scriptures ⁴⁶ and said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day; ⁴⁷ and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

²¹ whom it is certainly necessary that the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the age began.

²⁵ For I would not, brethren, that ye ignore this mystery, that ye not be arrogant regarding yourselves: that blindness in part has happened in Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles are come in.

²⁵ ¶ Now to him that is able to confirm you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which was concealed from times eternal

³ how that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery (as I wrote above in a few words, ⁴ by which, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of the Christ), ⁵ which in other generations was not made known unto the sons of men as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit, ⁶ that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs and of the same body and partakers of his promise in the Christ by the gospel, ⁷ of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the operation of his power. ⁸ Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of the Christ ⁹ and to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the ages has been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ.

¹⁵ And the seventh angel sounded the trumpet, and there were great voices in the heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are reduced unto our Lord and to his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. ¹⁶ And the twenty-four elders, who sat before God on their thrones, fell upon their faces and worshipped God, ¹⁷ saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, who art and wast, and art to come because thou hast taken to thee thy great power and hast reigned. ¹⁸ And the Gentiles were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou should give the reward unto thy slaves the prophets and to the saints and those that fear thy name, to the small and to the great, and should destroy those who destroy the earth.

²¹ Then thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, that ye not turn to the right hand and that ye not turn to the left hand.

⁴ And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write, and I heard a voice from heaven, saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders have spoken and do not write them. ⁵ And the angel whom I saw standing upon the sea and upon the land lifted up his hand to heaven

¹² Neither have I separated myself from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.

¹⁶ Thy words were found, and I ate them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of my heart: for thy name was called upon me, O LORD God of the hosts.

⁸ But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Do not be rebellious like the rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat what I give thee.

¹ ¶ And he said unto me, Son of man, eat what thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel. ² So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll. ³ And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. I ate it and it was in my mouth as sweet as honey.

¹⁴ And the Spirit lifted me up and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the LORD was strong upon me.

⁶ for which things’ sake the wrath of God comes on the sons of disobedience,

¹⁰ More to be desired are they than gold, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

³⁴ My meditation of him shall be sweet; I will be glad in the LORD.

¹⁰³ ¶ How sweet have been thy spoken words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

²⁴ ¶ Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and medicine to the bones.

¹⁰ and he spread it before me; and it was written within and without; and there was written therein lamentations and mourning and woes.

³ And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. I ate it and it was in my mouth as sweet as honey.

⁹ Then the LORD put forth his hand and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. ¹⁰ See, I have placed thee in this day over Gentiles and over kingdoms, to root out, and to destroy, and to throw out, and to cast down, to build, and to plant.

¹⁵ ¶ For thus hath the LORD God of Israel said unto me: Take the wine cup of this fury from my hand and cause all the Gentiles, to whom I send thee, to drink of it. ¹⁶ And they shall drink and be moved and become mad, before the sword that I will send among them. ¹⁷ Then took I the cup from the LORD’s hand and made all the Gentiles to drink, unto whom the LORD had sent me, ¹⁸ unto Jerusalem and to the cities of Judah and to its kings and to its princes, that I might place them into desolation, into astonishment, and into hissing, and into a curse, as this day, ¹⁹ unto Pharaoh king of Egypt and to his slaves and to his princes and to all his people, ²⁰ and to all the mingled people and to all the kings of the land of Uz and to all the kings of the land of the Philistines and to Ashkelon and to Gaza and to Ekron and to the remnant of Ashdod, ²¹ to Edom and to Moab and to the sons of Ammon, ²² and to all the kings of Tyre and to all the kings of Zidon and to all the kings of the isles which are of that side of the sea, ²³ and to Dedan, and to Tema and to Buz and to all that are in the utmost corners, ²⁴ and to all the kings of Arabia and to all the kings of the mingled peoples, the Arabia that dwells in the desert, ²⁵ and to all the kings of Zimri and to all the kings of Elam and to all the kings of the Medes, ²⁶ and to all the kings of the north wind, those of far and those of near, one with another and to all the kingdoms of the earth, which are upon the face of the earth and the king of Sheshach {Babylon} shall drink after them. ²⁷ Therefore thou shalt say unto them, Thus hath the LORD of the hosts, the God of Israel said; Drink and be drunken, and vomit and fall, and ye shall not rise in the presence of the sword which I send among you. ²⁸ And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup from thine hand to drink, then thou shalt say unto them, Thus hath the LORD of the hosts said: Ye must certainly drink. ²⁹ For, Behold, I begin to bring evil upon the city which is called by my name, and should ye only be absolved? Ye shall not be absolved, for I bring the sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, said the LORD of the hosts. ³⁰ ¶ Therefore, thou shalt prophesy against them all these words, and say unto them, The LORD shall roar from on high and from the habitation of his holiness he shall utter his voice; in fury he shall roar upon his habitation; he shall sing the song of those that tread grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth.

⁴ Then he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones hear the word of the LORD.

⁹ Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the spirit, prophesy, son of man, and say to the spirit, Thus hath the Lord GOD said: Come from the four winds, O spirit, and breathe upon these slain, and they shall live.

⁹ And those of the peoples and kindreds and tongues and Gentiles shall see their dead bodies three days and a half and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

⁶ ¶ And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the eternal gospel that he might evangelize those that dwell on the earth and every nation and kindred and tongue and people,

¹⁵ And he said unto me, The waters which thou hast seen, where the whore sits, are peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues.
