³ Jehovah shall cut off all with flattering lips and the tongue that speaks great things;

⁹ The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my soul shall be filled with them; I will draw my sword; my hand will destroy them.

³ Do not multiply your haughty words; let not arrogance go out from your mouth; for Jehovah is a God of knowledge, and by Him actions are weighed.

⁴³ And the Philistine said to David, Am I a dog that you have come to me with sticks? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods. ⁴⁴ And the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give your flesh to the birds of the heavens and to the beasts of the field.

²³ By the hand of your messengers, you have defamed the Lord, and have said, With the multitude of my chariots I have come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon, and I will cut down the height of its cedars, the best of its firs, and I will enter into the furthest dwelling, its densest forest; ²⁴ I have dug and drunk strange waters, and I dried up with the sole of my feet all the rivers of Egypt.

²² for I do not know how to eulogize; else after a little my Maker will take me away.

¹⁰ They are enclosed in their own fat; their mouth speaks proudly;

⁸ They scoff and speak in malice; from on high they speak cruelty. ⁹ They set their mouth in the heavens; and their tongues walk through the earth.

²¹ Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it shall eat its fruit.

¹⁰ As my hand has found the kingdoms of the idols (for their carved images excelled Jerusalem's and Samaria's);

² Son of man, say to the ruler of Tyre, So says the Lord Jehovah, Because your heart is lifted up, and you have said, I am a god, I sit in the seat of gods, in the heart of the seas; yet you are a man, and not God, though you give your heart as the heart of gods.

⁹ Will you still say, I am of the gods before him who strikes you? But you are a man, and not God, in the hands of him who pierces you.

³ Speak and say, So says the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt, great monster who lies in the midst of his rivers, who has said, My river is mine, and I, even I, have made it.

³⁰ The king spoke and said, is this not great Babylon that I have built for the house of the kingdom, by the might of my power, and for the honor of my majesty? ³¹ The word was still in the king's voice when a voice fell from the heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is declared: The kingdom has been taken from you!

⁸ I was thinking about the horns. And behold! Another little horn came up among them, and three of the first horns were uprooted before it. And behold! In this horn were eyes like the eyes of the man, and a mouth speaking great things.

²⁵ And he shall speak words against the Most High, and he shall wear out the saints of the Most High. And he intends to change times and law. And they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and one half time.

¹³ Your words have been strong against Me, says Jehovah. Yet you say, What have we spoken against you?

¹⁸ For speaking great swelling words of vanity, by the lusts of the flesh, by unbridled lusts, they allure those indeed escaping the ones living in error,

¹⁶ These are murmurers, complainers, having gone according to their lusts, and their mouth speaks proud things, admiring faces for the sake of gain.

⁵ And a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies was given to it. And authority to act forty two months was given to it.
