O Theophilus, I indeed made the first account concerning all that Jesus began both to do and to teach, ² till the day in which he was received up, having commanded through the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom he had chosen.


³ The apostles to whom, he also presented himself as living in many definite-proofs after he had suffered on the cross, being seen by them through out forty days and speaking the things concerning the kingdom of God. ⁴ And, being assembled together with them, he commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to remain until the promise of the Father, Which, ( he said) You have heard from me; ⁵ because John indeed immersed in water, but you will be immersed in the Holy Spirit after not these many days
⁶ Therefore indeed, having come together, they asked him, saying, Lord, are you restoring the kingdom to Israel at this time?
⁷ Now he said to them, It is not yours to know times or seasons, which the Father placed in his own authority. ⁸ But you will be receiving power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be witnesses to me, both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the outermost parts of the earth.

⁹ And having said these things, and whil e looking at him, he was lifted up, and a cloud received him out of their staring eyes. ¹⁰ And as they were staring while he was traveling on into heaven, and behold, two men stood beside them in white apparel; ¹¹ who also said, Men, Galileans! Why are you standing here, looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was received up from you into heaven will be coming back thus in the manner you saw him traveling on into heaven.
¹² Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mountain called Olives, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day’s journey off. ¹³ And having entered, they went up into the upstairs-room, where they were remaining; both Peter and John and James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot and Judas the son of James
. ¹⁴ All these men together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus and together with his brethren were persevering, united in prayer and supplication.
¹⁵ And Peter stood up in these days in the midst of the disciples (and a crowd of people
were in the same place, approximately a hundred and twenty) and said, ¹⁶ Brethren, it was essential that this Scripture might be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit said beforehand through the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide to those who took Jesus, ¹⁷ because he was numbered together with us and was allotted his inheritance in this service.


¹⁸ (Therefore indeed, this one procured a parcel of ground from the reward of his unrighteousness, and he happened to fall-flat and ruptured in the middle and all his bowels were poured out. ¹⁹ And it became known to all the dwellers in Jerusalem; so-that in their own language this place was called Akeldama, that is, The Place of Blood.) ²⁰ For it has been written in the book of Psalms, ‘Let his habitation become desolate and do not let there be one dwelling in it’and, ‘Let a different one take his overseership.’ ²¹ Therefore, of those men who have come together with us all the time in which the Lord Jesus entered in and went out among us, ²² having begun from the immersion of John, to the day from which he was received up from us, it is essential one of these is to become a witness together with us of his resurrection. ²³ And they stood up two, Joseph called Barsabbas, who was surnamed Justus and Matthias. ²⁴ And having prayed, they said, You Lord, knower of the hearts of all, show which one out of these two you have chosen ²⁵ to receive the inheritance of this service and apostleship from which Judas transgressed, so as to travel on to his own place. ²⁶ And they gave them their lots and the lot fell upon Matthias, and he was enumerated together with the eleven apostles.

²³ And Jesus was going around the whole of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the good-news of the kingdom and healing every kind of disease and every kind of illness among the people. ²⁴ And the report of him went forth into the whole of Syria and they brought to him all who were ill, held by various diseases and torments and demon-possessed and epileptic and paralytics, and he healed them.

⁵ the blind recover their sight and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, the dead are raised and the poor have the good-news proclaimed to them.

³ it also seemed good to me, having followed accurately in all things from the start, to write to you afterwards, most-excellent Theophilus;

²⁴ Now after these days, Elisabeth his wife conceived, and she was hiding herself for five months, saying,

²³ And he was approximately thirty years old, when beginning to teach, (as it was supposed, the son of Joseph). Although Jesus, himself was a descendant from Heli,

²¹ He healed many of diseases and disorders and evil spirits in the same hour, and he granted to many of the blind to see.
²² And Jesus answered and said to them, When you have traveled back, report to John the things which you have seen and heard; that the blind recover their sight, the lame are walking, the lepers are cleansed and the mute hear, the dead are raised, the poor have the good-news proclaimed to them. ²³ And the fortunate one is whoever is not offended in me.

¹⁹ And he said to them, What things?
But they said to him, The things concerning Jesus from Nazareth, who became a prophet, a mighty man in works and word in front of God and all the people;

³² Jesus answered them, I have showed you many good works from my Father, because of what work from those do you stone me?
³³ The Jews answered him, saying, We do not stone you concerning a good work, but concerning blasphemy, and because you being a man, are making yourself God.
³⁴ Jesus answered them, Has it not been written in your law, that I said, You are gods? ³⁵ If he called those men gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture is not able to be torn-down), ³⁶ do you say of him, whom the Father made holy and sent into the world, You blaspheme, because I said, I am the Son of God? ³⁷ If I am not doing the works of my Father, then do not believe in me. ³⁸ But if I am doing them, even if you do not believe in me, believe in the works; in order that you may know and may believe that the Father is in me and I in him.

¹⁹ Therefore, the high-priest asked Jesus concerning his disciples and concerning his teaching. ²⁰ Jesus answered him, I spoke publicly to the world. I always taught in the synagogue s and in the temple, where the Jews always come together, and I spoke nothing in secret. ²¹ Why are you asking me? Ask those who have heard me, what I spoke to them. Behold, these know what I said.

²² Men, Israelites! Hear these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man from God, having been shown to you by miracles and wonders and signs which God did through him in your midst, just-as you yourselves also know;

²¹ For you were called into this, because Christ also suffered on our behalf, leaving a model for you, in order that you should follow after his footprints. ²² He who did no sin, nor was treachery found in his mouth; ²³ who, being reviled, was not reviling again in return; when suffering, was not threatening, (but was giving himself to the one who judges righteously),

² And the Spirit of Jehovah will rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Jehovah. ³ And his delight will be in the fear of Jehovah. And he will not judge according to the sight of his eyes, nor decide according to the hearing of his ears,

¹ Behold, my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights. I have put my Spirit upon him, he will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.

¹⁶ Come you* near to me, hear this: From the beginning I have not spoken in secret. From the time that it was, there I am. And now the lord Jehovah and his Spirit has sent me.

²⁰ And he who redeems will come to Zion and to those who turn from transgression in Jacob, says Jehovah.
²¹ And as for me, this is my covenant with them, says Jehovah: My Spirit that is upon you and my words which I have put in your mouth, will not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your seed, nor out of the mouth of your seed's seed, says Jehovah, from now and until everlasting.

¹ The Spirit of the lord Jehovah is upon me, because Jehovah has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind and the opening of bonds to those who are bound,

¹⁶ And Jesus when he was immersed, came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God coming down, like a dove, and coming upon him;

¹ And having called his twelve disciples, he gave to them authority over unclean spirits, so-that they are able to cast them out, and to heal every kind of disease and every kind of illness.
² Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: the first is Simon, who is called Peter and Andrew his brother; James and John his brother, the sons of Zebedee; ³ Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus and Lebbaeus who was surnamed Thaddaeus; ⁴ Simon the Canaanite
and Judas the Iscariot, who gave him up to the Jews.

²⁸ But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God; consequently, the kingdom of God has arrive-unexpectedly upon you.

¹⁹ When you travel, make disciples of all the nations, immersing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ teaching them to observe all things, as many things as I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days until the end of the earth.

¹⁴ And he made the appointment of the twelve, in order that they might be with him and in order that he might send them forth to preach, ¹⁵ and to have authority to heal the diseases and to cast out demons. ¹⁶ And he added the name Peter to Simon; ¹⁷ and James the son of Zebedee and John the brother of James, and those, he added to them the names Boanerges, which is, Sons of Thunder; ¹⁸ and Andrew and Philip and Bartholomew and Matthew and Thomas and James the son of Alphaeus and Thaddaeus and Simon the Canaanite, ¹⁹ and Judas Iscariot, who also gave him up to the Jews.

And they come into a house.

³⁰ And the apostles are gathered together with Jesus, and they reported to him all things, both how-much they had done and how-much they had taught.

¹⁵ And he said to them, When you travel into all the world, preach the good-news to all creation. ¹⁶ He who believes and is immersed will be saved, but he who disbelieves will be condemned.
¹⁷ Now these signs will be following those who have believed: they will be casting out demons in my name; they will be speaking in new languages; ¹⁸ they will be lifting up serpents and even if they drink anything deadly, it may never harm them; they will lay hands upon the sick and they will be well.

⁵¹ And it happened, while he blesses them, he stood away from them and was being carried up into heaven.

³⁴ For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for God does not give the Spirit from measure.

⁶² Therefore what if you view the Son of Man ascending where he was beforehand?

⁷⁰ He answered them, Did I not choose you the twelve and one out of you is a slanderer?

¹ Now before the feast of the Passover, Jesus knowing that his hour has come in order that he should proceed out of this world to his Father; having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.

³ Jesus, knowing that the Father has given all the things into his hands and that he came forth from God and is going to God,

¹⁸ I do not speak concerning all of you. I know whom I have chosen, but in order that the Scripture might be fulfilled, ‘He who eats bread with me, lifted up his heel against me.’

²⁸ I came out from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and I am traveling on to the Father.

¹³ But now I am coming to you, and I speak these things in the world, in order that they may have my joy, having been fulfilled in themselves.

¹⁷ Jesus says to her, Do not be touching me; for I have not yet ascended to my Father, but travel to my brethren and say to them, I am ascending to my Father and your Father and my God and your God.

³⁸ Jesus who was from Nazareth; how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went through out the land working good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, because God was with him.

⁴⁰ God raised this one up on the third day and gave him to become manifest, ⁴¹ not to all the people, but to witnesses that have been assigned before by God, even to us, who ate and drank together with him after he rose up from the dead. ⁴² And he commanded us to preach to the people and to thoroughly testify that he is the one who has been determined by God to be judge of the living and the dead.

¹ Paul, an apostle, (not from men, neither through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him up from the dead),

²⁰ having been built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets. Jesus Christ himself being the cornerstone;

⁸ Hence he says, ‘When he ascended onto high, he captured captivity and gave presents to men.’ ⁹ Now this saying, He ascended, (what is it saying?) except that he also came down into the downward parts of the earth first? ¹⁰ He who came down is also the same as he who ascended up above all the heavens, in order that he might fill all things.

¹⁶ And confessedly great is the mystery of godliness : God was manifested in the flesh, was made righteous in the Spirit, was seen by messengers, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was received up in glory.

¹⁹ This hope which we have as an anchor of the soul, is both secure and steadfast and entering into the inner side of the curtain; ²⁰ where a forerunner Jesus entered on our behalf, having become a high-priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

²⁴ For the Christ did not enter into a holy-places made with hands, counterparts to the true one, but into heaven itself, now to be manifested before the face of God on our behalf.

²² who is at the right hand of God, having traveled into heaven; with messengers and authorities and powers having been made subject to him.

² to be reminded of the declarations which have been spoken before by the holy prophets, and the commandments from your apostles of the Lord and Savior.

¹ The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his bondservants; the things which are essential to happen shortly and he signified it, having sent it through his messenger to his bondservant John;

⁷ He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the congregations. To the one who overcomes, I will be giving to him to eat from the Tree of Life, which is in the Paradise of God.

⁸ And he arose and ate and drank and went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights to Horeb the mountain of God.

⁴⁴ And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will the sovereignty of it be left to another people, but it will break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms and it will stand forever.
⁴⁵ Inasmuch as you saw that a stone was cut out of the mountain without hands and that it broke in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver and the gold, the great God has made known to the king what will happen hereafter. And the dream is certain and the interpretation of it sure.

² and saying, Repent; for the kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.

² And having fasted forty days and forty nights, later he hungered.

⁴³ Because of this, I am saying to you, The kingdom of God will be taken away from you, and will be given to a nation producing the fruits of it.

⁹ Now as they were traveling to also report it to his disciples, behold, Jesus encountered them, saying, Rejoice! But they came and took-hold of his feet and worshiped him.

¹⁶ But the eleven disciples traveled into Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had appointed to them. ¹⁷ And seeing him, they worshiped him, but some were skeptical.

¹⁰ Having traveled on, she reported to those who had been with him, who were mourning and weeping. ¹¹ And when they heard that he is alive and had been seen by her, they disbelieved.

¹² Now after these things, he was manifested in a different form to two out of them while they are walking, traveling into the rural-area. ¹³ And they went away and reported it to the rest, but they did not believe those men.


¹⁴ And later, while reclining at a meal, he was manifested to the eleven themselves and he reproached their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen him, that he had been raised.

¹ Now on the first day of the week, from the deep fog of daybreak, they and some others together with them came to the tomb, bringing the spices which they had prepared. ² Now they found the stone has been rolled away from the tomb. ³ And having entered in, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. ⁴ And it happened, while they are perplexed concerning this, behold, two men stood by them in flashing white apparel. ⁵ Now when they became fearful and bowed their faces down toward the earth, then they said to them, Why are you seeking the living with the dead? ⁶ He is not here, but was raised. Remember how he spoke to you, being still in Galilee, ⁷ saying that it is essential for the Son of Man to be given up into the hands of sinful men and to be crucified and to rise up in the third day? ⁸ And they were reminded of his declarations.


⁹ And having returned from the tomb, they reported all these things to the eleven and to all the rest. ¹⁰ Now those who were saying these things to the apostles were: Mary the Magdalene and Joanna and Mary the mother of James and the rest of the women together with them. ¹¹ And their declarations appeared like nonsense in their sight, and they were disbelieving them. ¹² But Peter, having stood up, ran to the tomb, and stooped down and peered in. He sees the linen-strips laying alone, and he went away to his home, marveling at what has happened.


¹³ And behold, two out of them were traveling that same day to a village whose name was Emmaus, which was sixty furlongs distant from Jerusalem. ¹⁴ And they were conversing with one another concerning all these things which have befallen them. ¹⁵ And it happened, while they are conversing and debating together, that Jesus himself, having drawn near, was traveling together with them. ¹⁶ But their eyes were being held-fast so as not to recognize him. ¹⁷ But he said to them, What words are these which you are exchanging back and forth with one another, while walking? and you have a gloomy face, why?
¹⁸ But one whose name was Cleopas answered and said to him, Are you sojourning alone in Jerusalem and did not know of the things which have happened in her in these days?
¹⁹ And he said to them, What things?
But they said to him, The things concerning Jesus from Nazareth, who became a prophet, a mighty man in works and word in front of God and all the people; ²⁰ and how the high-priests and our rulers gave him up to the condemnation of death and crucified him. ²¹ Now we were hoping that he was the one who is about to redeem Israel. But yet today, together with all these things, is bringing us the third day from which these things happened. ²² But some women from among us also astonished us, having happened to be at the tomb at daybreak, ²³ and having not found his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of messengers, who said he was alive. ²⁴ And some of those who were together with us, went to the tomb and also found it so, just-as the women had also said, but they did not see him.
²⁵ And he said to them, O you foolish ones and slow in heart to believe upon all that the prophets have spoken! ²⁶ Was it not essential for the Christ to suffer these things and to enter into his glory? ²⁷ And beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he was clarifying for them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself. ²⁸ And they drew near to the village, where they were traveling and he was making-like that he was to travel farther.
²⁹ And they constrained him, saying, Abide with us, because it is toward dusk and the day is far-spent. And he entered in to abide together with them. ³⁰ And it happened, while he was reclining with them at the table, and having taken the bread, he gave-thanks and breaking it he was giving it to them.
³¹ Now their eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he became unapparent from them. ³² And they said to one another, Were our hearts not burning in side us, as he was speaking to us on the road, and as he was opening the Scriptures to us?
³³ And that same hour they stood up and returned to Jerusalem and found the eleven and those who have been accumulated together with them, ³⁴ saying, The Lord was really raised and was seen by Simon. ³⁵ And they were describing the things which happened on the road and how he was known by them in the breaking of the bread.


³⁶ Now while they are speaking these things, Jesus stood in the midst of them and says to them, Peace is to you. ³⁷ But they became terrified and fearful and were thinking that they had viewed a spirit. ³⁸ And he said to them, Why are you disturbed? And why do questions come up in your hearts? ³⁹ Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Touch me and see, because a spirit does not have flesh and bones, like you view me having. ⁴⁰ And having said this, he showed them his hands and his feet. ⁴¹ But still disbelieving this from joy and marveling; he said to them, Do you have anything edible here? ⁴² Now they gave part of a broiled fish to him and part of the honeycomb. ⁴³ And he took and ate it in their sight.


⁴⁴ Now he said to them, These are the words which I spoke to you, being still together with you, that it is essential for all things to be fulfilled, which have been written in the Law of Moses and the prophets and the Psalms, concerning me. ⁴⁵ Then he opened their mind to understand the Scriptures.


⁴⁶ And he said to them, Thus it has been written, that it was essential for the Christ to suffer and to rise up from the dead in the third day; ⁴⁷ and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. ⁴⁸ Now you are witnesses of these things. ⁴⁹ And behold, I am sending the promise of my Father upon you, but you stick-around in the city of Jerusalem, until you should be clothed with power from on high.


⁵⁰ Now he led them outside until they were in Bethany, and he lifted up his hands and blessed them. ⁵¹ And it happened, while he blesses them, he stood away from them and was being carried up into heaven. ⁵² And they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy ⁵³ and they were always in the temple, praising and thanking God.

³ Therefore Peter went forth, and the other disciple, and they were going toward the tomb. ⁴ Now they both were running in unison and the other disciple ran quickly ahead of Peter and came to the tomb first; ⁵ and having peered and he sees the linen-strips laying; nevertheless he did not enter in. ⁶ Therefore Simon Peter comes, following him and entered into the tomb, and he views the linen-strips laying, ⁷ and the handkerchief which was upon his head, was not laying with the linen-strips, but has been entwined in a separate place. ⁸ Therefore, the other disciple also entered in then, who came first to the tomb, and he saw and believed. ⁹ (For they did not yet know the Scripture, that it is essential for him to rise up from the dead.) ¹⁰ So the disciples went away again to themselves.


¹¹ But Mary stood outside at the tomb, weeping. Therefore as she was weeping, she peered into the tomb; ¹² and she views two messengers in white sitting, one toward the head and one toward the feet, where the body of Jesus was laying. ¹³ And they say to her, Woman, why are you weeping?
She says to them, They took my Lord and I do not know where they have laid him. ¹⁴ And having said these things, she turned backward and views Jesus standing and did not know that it was Jesus.
¹⁵ Jesus says to her, Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?
That woman, thinking that it is the gardener, says to him, Lord, if you bore him away from here, tell me where you have laid him and I will take him.
¹⁶ Jesus says to her, Mary.
That woman having turned around, says to him, Rabboni; which is saying: Teacher.
¹⁷ Jesus says to her, Do not be touching me; for I have not yet ascended to my Father, but travel to my brethren and say to them, I am ascending to my Father and your Father and my God and your God.
¹⁸ Mary the Magdalene comes, reporting to the disciples, that she has seen the Lord, and that he had said these things to her.


¹⁹ Therefore being evening on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors had been locked where the disciples were gathered because of fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the middle, and says to them, Peace to you. ²⁰ And having said this, he showed to them the hands and his ribs. Therefore the disciples rejoiced, having seen the Lord.
²¹ Therefore Jesus said to them again, Peace to you; just-as the Father has sent me; I am also sending you.

²⁶ And after eight days his disciples were inside again and Thomas with them. Jesus comes, the doors having been locked and stood in the middle and said, Peace to you.

¹ After these things, Jesus manifested himself again to the disciples upon the sea of Tiberias, and he appeared thus.

¹⁴ This is already the third-time that Jesus was manifested to his disciples, after having been raised from the dead.

³¹ and he was seen on many days by those who came up together with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses to the people.

³¹ preaching the kingdom of God and teaching the things concerning the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness, unforbidden by any.

¹⁷ for the kingdom of God is not about food and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

⁵ And that he appeared to Cephas; then to the twelve; ⁶ thereafter he was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, out of whom most remain until now, but some have also fallen-asleep; ⁷ thereafter he was seen by James; thereafter by all the apostles;

¹³ He rescued us out of the authority of darkness and transplanted us into the kingdom of the Son of his love;

¹² and testifying, that you should walk worthy of God, who is calling you into his own kingdom and glory.

¹ What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we saw and our hands touched, concerning the Word of life

²⁰ For it is not you who speaks, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.

¹³ Therefore if you, being evil, know how to give good presents to your children, how much more will your Father from heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?

¹² for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that same hour what you ought to say.

⁴¹ But still disbelieving this from joy and marveling; he said to them, Do you have anything edible here? ⁴² Now they gave part of a broiled fish to him and part of the honeycomb. ⁴³ And he took and ate it in their sight.

⁴⁹ And behold, I am sending the promise of my Father upon you, but you stick-around in the city of Jerusalem, until you should be clothed with power from on high.

³⁹ But he spoke this concerning the Spirit, which those who believed in him were about to receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

¹⁶ And I will be requesting of the Father and he will be giving you another Helper, in order that he may abide with you forever,

²⁶ But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will be sending in my name, that one will be teaching you all things and will be reminding you of all things which I said to you. ²⁷ I am leaving peace with you. I am giving my peace to you; not like the world gives, I am giving to you. Let your heart not be disturbed, nor let it be cowardly. ²⁸ You heard that I said to you, I am traveling on and I am coming to you. If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I said, I am traveling on to the Father, because the Father is greater than I.

²⁶ But whenever the Helper has come, whom I will be sending to you from the Father, who is the Spirit of the truth, who travels from the Father, that one will be testifying concerning me;

⁷ But I tell you the truth. It is advantageous for you that I should go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not be coming to you, but if I travel on, I will be sending him to you. ⁸ And when he has come, that one will be convicting the world concerning sin and concerning righteousness and concerning judgment. ⁹ Concerning sin, indeed, because they did not believe in me; ¹⁰ concerning righteousness, because I am going to my Father and you view me no more; ¹¹ and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged. ¹² I still have many things to say to you, but you are not able to bear them now. ¹³ But whenever that one, the Spirit of the truth, comes, he will be guiding you into all the truth; for he will not be speaking from himself, but as many things as he may hear, these he will be speaking and he will be reporting to you the things which are to come. ¹⁴ He will be glorifying me, because he will receive from me and will be proclaiming it to you. ¹⁵ All things, as many things as the Father has are mine, because of this, I said, He is receiving from me and will be proclaiming it to you.

²² And after having said this, he infused them and says to them, Receive the Holy Spirit.

³³ Therefore having been exalted by the right hand of God, and having received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, he has poured out this, which you are seeing and hearing now.

⁴¹ not to all the people, but to witnesses that have been assigned before by God, even to us, who ate and drank together with him after he rose up from the dead.

²⁸ And it will happen afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh and your* sons and your* daughters will prophesy. Your* old men will dream dreams. Your* young men will see visions. ²⁹ And also I will pour out my Spirit upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days. ³⁰ And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood and fire and pillars of smoke. ³¹ The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the great and wonderful day of Jehovah comes.
³² And it will happen, that whoever will call on the name of Jehovah will be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be those who escape, as Jehovah has said and among the remnant those whom Jehovah calls.

¹⁸ And it will happen in that day, that the mountains will drop down sweet wine and the hills will flow with milk and all the brooks of Judah will flow with waters. And a fountain will come out from the house of Jehovah and will water the valley of Shittim.

¹¹ I indeed immerse you in water toward repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not sufficient to bear. He will immerse you in the Holy Spirit;

⁸ I indeed immersed you in water, but he will immerse you in the Holy Spirit.

¹⁶ John answered, saying to them all, I indeed immerse you in water, but the mightier one than I is coming, the strap of whose shoes I am not sufficient to loose. He will immerse you in the Holy Spirit, and in fire;

³¹ And I did not know him, but in order that he should be manifested to Israel. I came immersing in water because of this.

¹ And while the day of Pentecost was being fulfilled, they were united in the same place. \ulnone\nosupersub ² And suddenly there became a noise from heaven just-like the bringing of a violent wind and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. ³ And there appeared to them, divided tongues, like fire, and it sat upon each one of them. ⁴ And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, just-as the Spirit was giving to them to speak out.

¹⁶ But this is what has been spoken through the prophet Joel, ¹⁷ God says, ‘And it will be in the last days, I will pour out from My Spirit upon all flesh and your sons and your daughters will prophesy and your young-men will see visions and your elderly-men will dream dreams. ¹⁸ For-sure, I will pour out of my Spirit upon my male bondservants and upon my female bondservants in those days, and they will prophesy. ¹⁹ And I will be giving you wonders in the heaven above and signs upon the earth below; blood and fire and vapor of smoke. ²⁰ The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the great and illustrious day of the Lord comes. ²¹ And it will be, that everyone, whoever calls upon the name of the Lord, will be saved.’

⁴⁵ And the believing ones from the circumcision, were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit has also been poured out upon the Gentiles.

¹⁵ Now while I was beginning to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, just-like upon us also in the beginning. ¹⁶ Now I was reminded of the declaration of the Lord, how he said, John indeed immersed in water, but you will be immersed in the Holy Spirit.

⁴ But Paul said, John indeed immersed in the immersion of repentance, saying to the people in order that they should believe in the one who is coming after him, that is, in the Christ Jesus.

¹³ For also, we were all immersed into one body, in one Spirit, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bondservants or free men, and all were made to drink into one Spirit.

⁵ he saved us (not from any works done in righteousness, which we practiced), but according to his mercy, through the full-washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,

¹⁰ The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs and to him will the obedience of the peoples be.

²⁶ And I will restore your judges as at the first and your counselors as at the beginning. Afterward you will be called the city of righteousness, a faithful town.

⁶ For to us a child is born, to us a son is given. And the government will be upon his shoulder. And his name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Father of Eternity, Prince of Peace.
⁷ Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and upon his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from hereafter until everlasting. The zeal of Jehovah of hosts will perform this.

⁵ Behold, the days come, says Jehovah, that I will raise to David a righteous Branch and he will reign as king and deal wisely and will execute justice and righteousness in the land. ⁶ In his days Judah will be saved and Israel will dwell safely. And this is his name by which he will be called: Jehovah our righteousness.

¹⁵ In those days and at that time, I will cause a Branch of righteousness to grow up to David and he will execute justice and righteousness in the land. ¹⁶ In those days Judah will be saved and Jerusalem will dwell safely. And this is the name whereby she will be called: Jehovah our righteousness.
¹⁷ For Jehovah says thus: David will never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel,

²⁶ then I will also cast away the seed of Jacob and of David my servant, so that I will not take of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. For I will cause their captivity to return and will have mercy on them.

²⁴ And my servant David will be king over them and they all will have one shepherd. They will also walk in my ordinances and observe my statutes and do them. ²⁵ And they will dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob my servant, in which your* fathers dwelt. And they will dwell in it, they and their sons and their son's sons, everlasting. And David my servant will be their ruler everlasting.
²⁶ Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them. It will be an everlasting covenant with them and I will place them and multiply them and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them everlasting. ²⁷ My tabernacle will also be with them and I will be their God and they will be my people.

²⁷ And the kingdom and the dominion and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, will be given to the people of the holy ones of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom and all dominions will serve and obey him.

⁴ For the sons of Israel will abide many days without king and without ruler and without sacrifice and without pillar and without ephod or household-idol.

¹⁶ And Jehovah will roar from Zion and utter his voice from Jerusalem and the heavens and the earth will shake. But Jehovah will be a refuge to his people and a stronghold to the sons of Israel.
¹⁷ So you* will know that I am Jehovah your* God, dwelling in Zion my holy mountain. Then Jerusalem will be holy and no strangers will pass through her any more.
¹⁸ And it will happen in that day, that the mountains will drop down sweet wine and the hills will flow with milk and all the brooks of Judah will flow with waters. And a fountain will come out from the house of Jehovah and will water the valley of Shittim.
¹⁹ Egypt will be a desolation and Edom will be a desolate wilderness, for the violence done to the sons of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
²⁰ But Judah will abide everlasting and Jerusalem from generation to generation. ²¹ And I will cleanse their blood, that I have not cleansed. For Jehovah dwells in Zion

¹¹ In that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David that has fallen and close up the breaches of it. And I will raise up its ruins and I will build it as in the days of old,

¹⁷ But in Mount Zion there will be those who escape and it will be holy and the house of Jacob will possess their possessions. ¹⁸ And the house of Jacob will be a fire and the house of Joseph a flame and the house of Esau for stubble. And they will burn among them and devour them and there will not be any remaining to the house of Esau, for Jehovah has spoken it.
¹⁹ And those of the South will possess the mountain of Esau and those of the lowland the Philistines. And they will possess the field of Ephraim and the field of Samaria and Benjamin will possess Gilead.
²⁰ And the captives of this host of the sons of Israel, who are among the Canaanites, will possess even to Zarephath. And the captives of Jerusalem who are in Sepharad will possess the cities of the South. ²¹ And saviors will come up on Mount Zion to judge the mountain of Esau and the kingdom will be Jehovah's.

² But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, which are little to be among the thousands of Judah, out of you he will come out to me who is to be ruler in Israel, whose goings forth are from long-ago, from the days of everlasting.

¹⁵ Jehovah has taken away your judgments. He has cast out your enemy. The King of Israel, even Jehovah, is in the midst of you. You will not fear evil any more.
¹⁶ In that day it will be said to Jerusalem, Do not fear, O Zion. Do not let your hands be slack. ¹⁷ Jehovah your God is in the midst of you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will rest in his love. He will joy over you with singing.

⁹ Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion. Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem. Behold, your king comes to you. He is just and having salvation, lowly and riding upon a donkey, even upon a colt the foal of a donkey.

¹¹ Now Jesus answered and said to them, Indeed Elijah comes first and will be restoring all things.

²¹ But he said to her, What do you wish?
She says to him, Say that these, my two sons, may sit, one at your right hand and one at your left hand in your kingdom.

³ Now when he sat upon the Mountain of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of your presence and of the end of the world?

¹² But he answered and said to them, Elijah indeed comes first and restores all things, and how it has been written of the Son of Man, in order that he should suffer many things and should be scorned?

²⁰ And having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God is coming, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God is not coming with observation;

¹¹ Now when they heard these things, he added and spoke a parable, because he was near to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God is about to be instantly manifested.

²⁹ and I also covenant to you, just-as my father covenanted to me a kingdom,

²¹ Peter seeing this one says to Jesus, Lord and what about this one?

²⁹ The secret things belong to Jehovah our God, but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our sons until everlasting, that we may do all the words of this law.

²¹ And he changes the times and the seasons. He removes kings and sets up kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.

²³ And he says to them, Indeed, you will be drinking my cup and you will be immersed with the immersion to which I am immersed, but to sit at my right and at my left, is not mine to give, but it is for them for whom it has been prepared by my Father.

³⁶ But concerning that day and the hour, no one knows, neither the messengers of the heavens, except my Father only.

⁴⁰ But to sit at my right and at my left is not mine to give, but it is for them for whom it has been prepared.

³² But no one knows concerning that day or hour, not even the messengers in heaven, neither the Son, except the Father only.

²⁴ And they will be falling by the edge of the sword and will be captured into all the nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles should be fulfilled.

²⁶ And he made of one blood every nation of men to dwell upon all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed seasons and the borders of their residence;

¹⁰ to a stewardship of the fullness of the times, to sum up all things in the Christ, the things in the heavens and the things upon the earth.

¹ Now brethren, you have no need for anything to be written to you concerning the times and the seasons. ² For you yourselves know accurately that the day of the Lord so comes like a thief in the night.

¹⁵ Which in its own times, he will show, the Blessed and only Sovereign, the King of those who are reigning, and a Lord of those who have lordship over others;

¹ But know this, that grievous times will be present in the last days.

²⁷ All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to Jehovah and all the kinfolk of the nations will worship before you.

³ He has remembered his loving kindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

¹⁰ Sing to Jehovah a new song and his praise from the end of the earth, you* who go down to the sea and all that is in it, the isles and the inhabitants of it.

⁶ yes, he says, It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved of Israel. I will also give you for a light to the Gentiles, that you may be my salvation to the end of the earth.

¹⁰ Jehovah has made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations and all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

¹⁹ And I will set a sign among them and I will send such as escape of them to the nations, to Tarshish, Pul and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal and Javan, to the isles afar off, who have not heard my fame, nor have seen my glory and they will declare my glory among the nations.

¹⁹ O Jehovah, my strength and my stronghold and my refuge in the day of affliction, to you the nations will come from the ends of the earth and will say, Our fathers have inherited nothing but lies, even vanity and things in which there is no profit.

⁸ But as for me, I am full of power by the Spirit of Jehovah and of judgment and of might, to declare to Jacob his transgression and to Israel his sin.

⁶ Then he answered and spoke to me, saying, This is the word of Jehovah to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says Jehovah of hosts.

¹⁴ And this good-news of the kingdom will be preached in the whole inhabited-earth, for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will be coming.

¹⁹ When you travel, make disciples of all the nations, immersing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

¹⁵ And he said to them, When you travel into all the world, preach the good-news to all creation.

³⁵ And the messenger answered and said to her, The Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of the Highest will be overshadowing you; hence the holy one being born out of you will also be called the Son of God.

¹⁹ Behold, I am giving you authority to trample down serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and you may never be hurt by anything.

²⁹ And they constrained him, saying, Abide with us, because it is toward dusk and the day is far-spent. And he entered in to abide together with them.

²⁷ and you also will be testifying, because you have been with me from the beginning.

⁵ because John indeed immersed in water, but you will be immersed in the Holy Spirit after not these many days

²² having begun from the immersion of John, to the day from which he was received up from us, it is essential one of these is to become a witness together with us of his resurrection.

³² This Jesus, God raised up, of whom we are all witnesses.

¹⁵ and killed the Author of life; whom God raised up from the dead; of whom we are witnesses.

³³ Now the apostles were giving their testimony of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus with great power and great favor was upon them all.

³² And we are witnesses of these words, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.

⁸ And Stephen, full of faith and power, was doing great wonders and signs among the people.

¹ Now Saul was consenting to the assassination of him.
Now there became a great persecution in that day upon the congregation which was in Jerusalem, and they were all dispersed throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.

⁵ Now Philip went down to a city of Samaria and was preaching to them the Christ. ⁶ And the crowds united and were taking-heed to the things which were spoken by Philip, while they were hearing and seeing the signs which he was doing. ⁷ For many of those who had unclean spirits, the spirits were coming out, crying with a loud voice. And many were healed who had been paralyzed and lame. ⁸ And there became much joy in that city.
⁹ But there was a certain man, Simon by name, who was formerly in the city practicing-magic and astonishing the people of Samaria, saying that he himself was someone great. ¹⁰ To whom they were taking-heed, from the little to the great, saying, This one is the power of God, the Great. ¹¹ Now they were taking-heed to him because he had astonished them with his magic for a considerable time. ¹² But when they believed Philip proclaiming the good-news concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were being immersed, both men and women. ¹³ Now Simon himself also believed and was immersed, and was persevering with Philip. And viewing signs and great miracles which were happening, he was being astonished.
¹⁴ Now when the apostles who were in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them; ¹⁵ who came down and prayed concerning them so that they might receive the Holy Spirit. ¹⁶ For he had not yet fallen upon any of them, but they were only immersed into the name of the Christ Jesus. ¹⁷ Then they were laying their hands upon them and they were receiving the Holy Spirit.
¹⁸ But when Simon saw that through the laying on of the apostles’hands the Holy Spirit is given, he offered them monies, ¹⁹ saying, Give to me also this authority, in order that I may lay my hands on whomever, and he may receive the Holy Spirit.
²⁰ But Peter said to him, May your silver together with you be sent into destruction, because you have thought to procure the gift of God through monies! ²¹ You have neither part nor inheritance in this word, for this heart of yours is not straight in God’s sight. ²² Therefore repent from this, your malice, and beseech God; if, then, the deliberation of your heart will be forgiven to you. ²³ For I see that you are in the gall of bitterness and in the bond of unrighteousness.
²⁴ But Simon answered and said, You, beseech on my behalf to the Lord, that none of the things which you have spoken may come upon me.
²⁵ Therefore indeed, having thoroughly testified and having spoken the word of the Lord, they returned to Jerusalem and proclaimed the good-news to many villages of the Samaritans.

³⁸ Jesus who was from Nazareth; how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went through out the land working good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, because God was with him. ³⁹ And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the region of the Jews and in Jerusalem–whom they also assassinated, having hung him upon a tree. ⁴⁰ God raised this one up on the third day and gave him to become manifest, ⁴¹ not to all the people, but to witnesses that have been assigned before by God, even to us, who ate and drank together with him after he rose up from the dead.

¹⁵ Because you will be a witness for him to all men of what you have seen and heard.

¹⁸ But I am saying, ‘Did they not hear?’But-rather, ‘Their sounds went out into all the earth and their declarations to the ends of the inhabited-earth.’

¹⁹ in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Spirit of God. So-then, I have fulfilled the good-news of the Christ from Jerusalem and in a circle, as far as Illyricum.

²³ if you actually are remaining in the faith, having been founded and grounded and not being moved away from the hope of the good-news which you heard, which was preached in all creation which is under heaven; of which I, Paul, became a servant.

³ And I will be giving to my two witnesses and they will be prophesying one thousand two hundred and sixty days, having been dressed in sackcloth. ⁴ These are the two olive trees and the two lamp-stands, standing in the sight of the Lord of the earth. ⁵ And if anyone wishes to hurt them, fire travels out from their mouth and devours their enemies, and if anyone wishes to hurt them, it is essential for him to thus be killed. ⁶ These have the authority to lock the heaven, in order that no rainfall may rain on the days of their prophecy and they have authority over the waters to turn them into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of wound, whenever they will it.

⁹ And Jehovah said to Moses, Behold, I come to you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you and may also believe you everlasting. And Moses told the words of the people to Jehovah.

⁵ And Jehovah descended in the cloud and stood with him there and proclaimed the name of Jehovah.

¹⁸ You have ascended on high. You have led captivity captive. You have received gifts among men, yes, among the rebellious also, that Jehovah God might dwell with them.

¹ The burden of Egypt. Behold, Jehovah rides upon a swift cloud and comes to Egypt. And the idols of Egypt will tremble at his presence and the heart of Egypt will melt in the midst of it.

¹³ I saw in the night visions, and behold, there came with the clouds of heaven someone like a son of man. And he came even to the ancient of days and they brought him near before him.

¹⁹ Therefore indeed, the Lord, after he had spoken to them, was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

²⁷ And then they will be seeing the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and much glory.

⁵⁰ Now he led them outside until they were in Bethany, and he lifted up his hands and blessed them. ⁵¹ And it happened, while he blesses them, he stood away from them and was being carried up into heaven.

² till the day in which he was received up, having commanded through the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom he had chosen.

⁸ Hence he says, ‘When he ascended onto high, he captured captivity and gave presents to men.’ ⁹ Now this saying, He ascended, (what is it saying?) except that he also came down into the downward parts of the earth first? ¹⁰ He who came down is also the same as he who ascended up above all the heavens, in order that he might fill all things.
¹¹ And he gave some to be : the apostles, and the prophets, and the evangelists, and the shepherds and teachers ¹² for the equipping of the holy-ones, for the work of the service, for the building up of the body of the Christ,

⁷ Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will be seeing him and those who stabbed him, and all the tribes of the earth will be grieving over him. Yes he comes, Amen.

¹² And they heard a loud voice out of heaven saying to them, Come up here. And they went up into heaven in the cloud, and their enemies viewed them.

⁴ These are those who were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are those who are following the Lamb wherever he goes. These were bought by Jesus from mankind, as the first-fruit to God and to the Lamb,

¹¹ And it happened, as they still went on and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire and horses of fire, which divided them both apart. And Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. ¹² And Elisha saw it and he cried, My father, my father, the chariots of Israel and the horsemen of it! And he saw him no more. And he took hold of his own clothes and tore them in two pieces.

⁹ I beheld till thrones were placed and one who was ancient of days sat. His garments was white as snow and the hair of his head like pure wool. His throne was fiery flames and the wheels of it burning fire.

² And he was transfigured before them, and his face shined like the sun, and his garments became white like the light.

³ His form was like lightning and his clothing was white like snow;

⁵ And entering into the tomb, they saw a young-man sitting at the right side, having been dressed in a white robe, and they were utterly amazed.

⁴ And it happened, while they are perplexed concerning this, behold, two men stood by them in flashing white apparel.

¹² and she views two messengers in white sitting, one toward the head and one toward the feet, where the body of Jesus was laying.

³ He saw openly in a vision, at approximately the ninth hour of the day, a messenger of God who came to him and said to him, Cornelius.

³⁰ And Cornelius said, Four days till this hour, I was fasting and praying in the ninth hour in my house, and behold, a man stood in my sight in bright apparel,

⁴ But you have a few names in Sardis who did not defile their garments and they will be walking with me in white, because they are worthy.

¹⁴ And I said to him, My lord, you know.
And he said to me, These are those who are coming out of the great affliction and they have rinsed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

¹³ I saw in the night visions, and behold, there came with the clouds of heaven someone like a son of man. And he came even to the ancient of days and they brought him near before him.
¹⁴ And there was given him dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations and languages should serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which will not pass away and his kingdom is one that will not be destroyed.

²⁷ For the Son of Man is about to come in the glory of his Father with his messengers, and then he will be giving to each one according to his practice.

³⁰ and then the sign of the Son of Man will be appearing in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will be grieving, and they will be seeing the Son of Man coming upon the clouds of heaven with power and with much glory.

³¹ But whenever the Son of Man comes in his glory and all the holy messengers with him. Then he will be sitting upon the throne of his glory;

²⁶ And then they will be seeing the Son of Man coming in the clouds with much power and glory.

⁷⁰ But he again was denying it. And after a little while, those standing beside them were again saying to Peter, You truly are from them; for you are a Galilean and your speech is similar.

⁵ Now when they became fearful and bowed their faces down toward the earth, then they said to them, Why are you seeking the living with the dead?

³ And if I travel on, I will be preparing a place for you. I am coming again and will be receiving you to myself; in order that where I am, you may also be there.

⁷ Now they were astonished and marveling, saying to one another, Behold, are these not all Galileans who are speaking?

¹² Now having seen them, Peter answered to the people, Men, Israelites! Why are you marveling over this one? Or why are you staring at us, as though by our own power or godliness we have made him able to walk?

¹⁰ and to await his Son Jesus from the heavens, whom he raised up from the dead; who rescues us from the coming wrath.

¹⁶ Because the Lord himself will be coming down from heaven, in a commanding yell, in the voice of the archangel and at the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will be rising up first;

⁷ and to you who are afflicted with us, a rest at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with the messengers of his power, ⁸ giving vengeance in a fire of flame to those who do not know God and to those who are not obeying the good-news of our Lord Jesus Christ, ⁹ who will be suffering-punishment, the sentence of everlasting utter-destruction away from the face of the Lord, and away from the glory of his strength, ¹⁰ whenever he may come to be glorified in his holy-ones, and to be marveled at in that day in all those who have believed, (because our testimony to you was believed).

⁴ And his feet will stand in that day upon the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives will be split in the midst of it toward the east and toward the west, a very great valley. And half of the mountain will remove toward the north and half of it toward the south.

¹ And when they drew near to Jerusalem and came to Bethphage, toward the Mountain of Olives, Jesus then sent two disciples,

³⁰ And having sung a hymn, they went out to the Mountain of Olives.

³⁷ Now every day, he was teaching in the temple, and every night he went out and was camping in the mountain, being called Olives.

⁵⁰ Now he led them outside until they were in Bethany, and he lifted up his hands and blessed them.

⁵² And they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy

¹⁸ Now Bethany was near to Jerusalem, approximately fifteen furlongs off;

¹⁸ Now walking beside the sea of Galilee, he saw two brethren, Simon who is called Peter and Andrew, his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. ¹⁹ And he says to them, Come-here after me and I will make you fishermen of men. ²⁰ Now immediately, they left the nets and followed him. ²¹ And having advanced from there, he saw two other brothers, James, the son of Zebedee and John, his brother, in the ship with Zebedee, their father, mending their nets. And he called them. ²² Now immediately they followed him having left the ship and their father.

⁹ And passing by from there, Jesus saw a man, called Matthew, sitting at a tax-office and he says to him, Follow me. And he stood up and followed him.

¹⁴ And passing by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax-office, and he says to him, Follow me. And he stood up and followed him.

³⁷ And he allowed no one to follow him, except Peter and James and John the brother of James.

² And after six days Jesus takes with him Peter and James and John and brings them up alone into a high mountain privately, and he was transfigured before them;

¹⁵ And he will be showing you a big furnished upper-room, which is ready. Prepare it for us there.

³³ And he takes with him Peter and James and John, and began to be utterly amazed and disheartened.

²⁷ And after these things, he went forth and saw a tax collector, Levi by name, sitting at the tax-office and said to him, Follow me. ²⁸ And having left all, he stood up and followed him.


²⁹ And Levi made for himself a large banquet in his house and there was a large crowd of tax collectors and others who were reclining at the meal with them.

¹² And he will show you a big furnished upper-room. Prepare it there.

⁴⁰ One out of the two who heard this from John was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother and he followed him. ⁴¹ This one finds first his own brother Simon and says to him, We have found the Messiah (which is, after being translated, The Christ).
⁴² And he led him toward Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, You are Simon, the Son of Jonah, you will be called Cephas, which is by translation, a Pebble.
⁴³ On the next-day, he wished to go out into Galilee, and he finds Philip, and Jesus says to him, Follow me.
⁴⁴ Now Philip was from Bethsaida, from the city of Andrew and Peter. ⁴⁵ Philip finds Nathanael and says to him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law and the prophets wrote, Jesus from Nazareth, the son of Joseph.
⁴⁶ And Nathanael said to him, Is any good thing able to be coming out of Nazareth?
Philip says to him, Come and behold!

⁵ Therefore Jesus, having lifted up his eyes and having seen that a large crowd is coming toward him, says to Philip, From where will we be buying bread, in order that these might eat? ⁶ But he said this, testing him; for he himself knew what he was about to do.
⁷ Philip answered him, Two hundred denarii’ worth of loaves is not enough for them, in order that each of them might take some bit.

¹⁶ Therefore Thomas, who is called Didymus, said to his fellow disciples, We should also go, in order that we may die with him.

²¹ therefore these came to Philip, the one from Bethsaida of Galilee and asked him, saying, Lord, we wish to see Jesus. ²² Philip comes and speaks to Andrew, and Andrew and Philip speak again to Jesus.

²³ But one of his disciples was reclining on Jesus’bosom, the one whom Jesus loved. ²⁴ Therefore, Simon Peter signals to him to inquire, who it might be, concerning whom he is speaking about. ²⁵ But that man who had leaned upon Jesus’chest says to him, Lord, who is it?

⁸ Philip says to him, Lord, show us the Father and it is enough for us.
⁹ Jesus says to him, So-much time I have been with you and you have not known me Philip? He who has seen me has seen the Father. And how can you say this? Show us the Father.

¹⁷ Therefore, the maidservant who was the doorkeeper says to Peter, Are you also one out of this man’s disciples?
That man says, I am not.

²⁵ Now Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. Therefore they said to him, Are you also one out of his disciples?
Therefore that man denied and said, I am not.
²⁶ One out of the bondservants of the high-priest, being a relative of the one whose ear Peter cut off, says, Did I not see you in the garden with him?
²⁷ Therefore Peter denied again and immediately the rooster crowed.

²⁶ And after eight days his disciples were inside again and Thomas with them. Jesus comes, the doors having been locked and stood in the middle and said, Peace to you. ²⁷ Thereafter he says to Thomas, Bring your finger here and behold the hands, and bring your hand here and put it into my ribs and do not become unbelieving, but become believing.
²⁸ And Thomas answered and said to him, My Lord and my God!
²⁹ Jesus says to him, Because you have seen me, you have believed, but the fortunate ones have not seen and yet have believed.

² They were united-together at Galilee: Simon Peter and Thomas called Didymus and Nathanael from Cana of Galilee and the sons of Zebedee and two others out of his disciples.

¹⁵ Therefore when they had a meal, Jesus says to Simon Peter, Simon, Son of Jonah, do you ^{F} love me more-than these things?
He says to him, Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.
He says to him, Feed my lambs.
¹⁶ He says to him again a second-time, Simon, Son of Jonah, do you ^{F} love me?
He says to him, Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.
He says to him, Shepherd my sheep.
¹⁷ He says to him the third-time, Simon, Son of Jonah, Do you ^{F} love me?
Peter was sorrowful because he said to him the third-time, Do you ^{F} love me like a friend? And he said to him, Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you like a friend.
Jesus says to him, Feed my sheep. ¹⁸ Assuredly, assuredly, I am saying to you, When you were younger, you were girding yourself and were walking where you were wishing to go, but whenever you are elderly, you will stretch out your hands and another will gird you and will be carrying you where you do not wish. ¹⁹ Now he spoke this signifying by what sort of death he should glorify God. And having said this, he says to him, Follow me.
²⁰ But Peter, turning again, sees the disciple whom Jesus loved following; who also leaned-back upon his chest at the supper and who had said, Lord, who is he who is giving you up? ²¹ Peter seeing this one says to Jesus, Lord and what about this one?
²² Jesus says to him, If I will for him to abide until I come, what is that to you? You, follow me!
²³ Therefore, this speech went forth to the brethren, that, that disciple does not die. And yet Jesus did not say to him that he does not die, but, If I will that he remains until I come, what is that to you?
²⁴ This is the disciple who is testifying concerning these things and wrote these things and we know that his testimony is true.

¹⁴ But Peter, standing up together with the eleven, lifted up his voice and spoke out to them, saying, Men, Jews and all you who are dwelling in Jerusalem, let this be known to you and notice my words.

³⁸ Now Peter said to them, Repent and be immersed each one of you in the name of Jesus Christ into the forgiveness of your sins, and you will be receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit. \super{F}

¹ Now Peter and John were going up at the same time into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. ² And a certain man, being lame from his mother’s womb, was being bore there, whom they were laying daily at the door of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask charity from those who travel into the temple. ³ Seeing Peter and John being about to go into the temple, he asked them for charity. ⁴ But Peter, together with John, staring toward him, said, Look toward us. ⁵ Now he was taking-heed of them, expecting to receive something from them. ⁶ But Peter said, I do not possess silver and gold, but what I have, that I am giving to you. In the name of Jesus Christ from Nazareth, arise and walk. ⁷ And he clutched him by the right hand and lifted him up and instantly his feet and his ankles were strengthened. ⁸ And leaping up, he stood and was walking, and he entered together with them into the temple, walking and leaping and praising God. ⁹ And all the people saw him walking and praising God. ¹⁰ And they were recognizing him, that this one was sitting to obtain charity at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, and they were filled with amazement and astonishment at what has befallen him.

¹³ Now viewing the boldness of Peter and John, they were marveling, having comprehended that they were illiterate and unskilled men. And they recognized them, that they had been together with Jesus.

¹⁹ But Peter and John answered and said to them, Judge for yourselves if it is righteous in God’s sight to listen to you rather than to God.

³² Now it happened, Peter, going through all the regions, also came down to the holy-ones, those who dwell at Lydda. ³³ Now he found a certain man there, Aeneas by name, who was paralyzed and had been laying in his pallet for eight years. ³⁴ And Peter said to him, Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Stand up and spread your bed for yourself. And immediately he stood up. ³⁵ And all who dwelt at Lydda, and Sharon, saw him, and they turned to the Lord.
³⁶ Now there was a certain disciple in Joppa, Tabitha by name, which being translated, is called Dorcas. This one was full of good works and of charity, which she was doing. ³⁷ Now it happened in those days, she, having been sick, died. Now having fully-washed her, they laid her in an upstairs-room. ³⁸ Now Lydda was near to Joppa, the disciples, having hearing that Peter is in it, sent for him, encouraging him not to hesitate to come to them. ³⁹ Now having stood up, Peter went together with them, those who had come to him, and they led him into the upstairs-room. And all the widows stood by him weeping and showing the tunics and garments; as many as Dorcas was making, when she was with them. ⁴⁰ But when Peter cast them all outside; having placed his knees down, he prayed, and having turned again to the body, he said, Tabitha, rise up. And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up. ⁴¹ Now he gave her his hand and stood her up, and summoning the holy-ones and widows, he presented her as living. ⁴² Now it became known throughout the whole of Joppa and many believed on the Lord. ⁴³ Now it happened, that he remained a considerable number of days in Joppa with a certain Simon, a tanner.

⁹ Now on the next-day, while those men are traveling and drawing near to the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray, around the sixth hour. ¹⁰ Now he became very hungry and wished to eat, but when those men were preparing the food, a trance fell upon him. ¹¹ And he views the heaven having opened and a certain vessel coming down, like a great sheet having been bound and being dropped down by four edges upon the earth; ¹² in which were all kinds of four footed mammals and beasts and reptiles of the earth and birds of the heaven. ¹³ And there came a voice to him, Sacrifice and eat when you stand up Peter.
¹⁴ But Peter said, Not-so, Lord, because I have never eaten anything, common or unclean.
¹⁵ And a voice came to him again the second-time, What God has cleansed, you, do not make common. ¹⁶ But this happened three-times and again the vessel was received up into heaven.
¹⁷ Now as Peter was perplexed in himself what the vision which he had seen might be. And behold, the men who had been sent from Cornelius, having made inquiry for Simon’s house, stood at the gate, ¹⁸ and having summoned them, they were inquiring if Simon, who is surnamed Peter, is lodged here.
¹⁹ But when Peter was contemplating concerning the vision, the Spirit said to him, Behold, men are seeking you. ²⁰ But when you stand up, go down and travel together with them, judging nothing, because I have sent them.
²¹ Now Peter went down to the men who were sent from Cornelius to him and said, Behold, I am he whom you are seeking. What is the cause through which you are here?
²² Now they said, Cornelius a centurion, a righteous man and fearing God, being well testified of by the whole nation of the Jews, was divinely-warned by a holy messenger to send for you to come to his house and to hear words from you. ²³ Therefore he invited them in and lodged them.


Now on the next-day Peter came out and went together with them and some of the brethren from Joppa went together with him. ²⁴ And on the next-day they entered into Caesarea. Now Cornelius was expecting them, having called together his relatives and his intimate friends. ²⁵ Now it happened, as Peter entered in, Cornelius, having met him, and having fallen down upon his feet, worshiped him. ²⁶ But Peter lifted him up, saying, Stand up; I am also a man. ²⁷ And while conversing together with him, he entered and finds many have gathered together. ²⁸ And he said to them, You yourselves know how it is an illegal thing for a man who is a Jew to be joined or to come to heathen, and yet God showed to me to speak of no man as common or unclean. ²⁹ Hence also, undeniably I came, having been sent for. Therefore I am inquiring, for what reason did you send for me?
³⁰ And Cornelius said, Four days till this hour, I was fasting and praying in the ninth hour in my house, and behold, a man stood in my sight in bright apparel, ³¹ and says, Cornelius, your prayer is heard and your charity is remembered in God’s sight. ³² Therefore send to Joppa, and call to you Simon, who is surnamed Peter; he is lodged in the house of Simon, a tanner, beside the sea. When he comes; he will be speaking to you. ³³ Therefore, promptly I sent for you, and having come, you did well. Therefore, now we are all here in God’s sight, to hear all things which have been commanded to you by God.

² Now he assassinated James the brother of John with a sword.
³ And having seen that it is pleasing to the Jews, he also adds Peter to take. (And these were the days of unleavened bread.)

¹⁷ But he, having beckoned to them with the hand to be silent, described to them how the Lord had led him out of the prison. Now he said, Report these things to James and to the brethren. And having gone out, he traveled to a different place.

⁷ Now after much debate had happened, Peter standing up, said to them, Brethren, you know that from the days of old among us, God chose through my mouth, that the Gentiles were to hear the word of the good-news and to believe it. ⁸ And God, the knower of hearts, testified of them, having given them the Holy Spirit, just-as he did also to us; ⁹ and he made no distinction between us and them in the faith, having cleansed their hearts.
¹⁰ Therefore now, why are you testing God, that is to place a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers, nor we were strong-enough to bear? ¹¹ But we believe that we will be saved through the favor of the Lord Jesus, according to what is in the same manner as they are also.

¹³ Now after they were silent, James answered, saying, Brethren, hear me.

⁸ Now a considerable number of lamps were in the upstairs-room where we were gathering together with them.

⁷ thereafter he was seen by James; thereafter by all the apostles;

¹⁹ But I did not see any other of the apostles, except James the Lord’s brother.

⁹ And having known the grace which was given to me, James and Cephas and John, (those reputed to be pillars), gave to me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, that indeed we should go to the Gentiles but they should go to the circumcision,

¹ James, a bondservant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes, those who are in the dispersion. Hail to you!

¹ What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we saw and our hands touched, concerning the Word of life ² and the life was manifested and we have seen and are testifying and reporting to you the everlasting life, which was with the Father and was manifested to us. ³ What we have seen and have heard, we report to you, in order that you may also have fellowship with us, but also our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ; ⁴ and we are writing these things, in order that our joy may be fulfilled.
⁵ And this is the message which we have heard from him and are reporting to you, that God is light and there is no darkness in him–none at all.

¹ The elder to the chosen lady and her children, whom I love in the truth, and not only I, but also all those who have known the truth; ² because of the truth which abides in us and it will be with us forever. ³ Grace, mercy, peace will be with us, from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
⁴ I rejoice exceedingly that I have found some out of your children walking in truth, just-as we received commandment from the Father. ⁵ And now I ask you lady, not as though I write to you a new commandment, but what we have had from the beginning, in order that we should love one another. ⁶ And this is love, in order that we should walk according to his commandments. This is the commandment, just-as you have heard from the beginning, in order that you should walk in it. ⁷ Because many misleaders have entered into the world, those who are not confessing Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the misleader and the antichrist. ⁸ Beware in yourselves, in order that you should not destroy the things which we have worked in you, but in order that we may receive a full reward. ⁹ Everyone who transgresses and is not abiding in the teaching of the Christ, does not have God. He who abides in the teaching of Christ, this one has both the Father and the Son. ¹⁰ If anyone is coming to you and is not bringing this teaching, do not receive him into your house and do not say hello to him; ¹¹ for he who says hello to him is sharing in his evil works.
¹² Having many things to write to you, I did not plan to write them through paper and ink, but I am hoping to come to you and to speak mouth to mouth, in order that our joy may be fulfilled. ¹³ The children of your chosen sister greet you. Amen.

¹ The elder to beloved Gaius, whom I love in truth. ² Beloved Gaius, I am praying for you to be prospered and to be sound concerning all things, just-as your soul is prospering. ³ For I rejoiced exceedingly of brethren coming and testifying of your truth, just-as you are walking in truth. ⁴ I have no greater joy from these things, in order that I may hear my children are walking in the truth.
⁵ Beloved, you practice faithfully whatever you have worked toward the brethren and toward strangers; ⁶ who testified to your love in the sight of the congregation; whom you will do well, having sent onward worthily of God. ⁷ For they went forth on behalf of the Name, taking nothing from the Gentiles. ⁸ Therefore we ought to receive those who are such, in order that we should become fellow workers for the truth.
⁹ I wrote to the congregation, but Diotrephes, who loves to be their foremost one, is not accepting us. ¹⁰ Because of this, if I come, I will be reminding him of his works in which he practices: gossiping against us with evil words and not being content in these, nor does he himself accept the brethren and he forbids those who plan to come, and casts them out of the congregation.
¹¹ Beloved, do not imitate the evil one, but the good one. He who practices good is from God. He who practices evil has not seen God. ¹² As for Demetrius, he has been testified of by all and by the truth itself. But we also are testifying and you know that our testimony is true.
¹³ I had many things to write to you, but I do not wish to write them to you through ink and reed. ¹⁴ But I hope to see you immediately and we will be speaking mouth to mouth

¹ Jude, a bondservant of Jesus Christ and brother of James, to the called one, those who have been made holy in God the Father and have been kept in Jesus Christ:

¹ The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his bondservants; the things which are essential to happen shortly and he signified it, having sent it through his messenger to his bondservant John; ² who testifies of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ; as many things as he saw. ³ The fortunate one reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy and are keeping the things which have been written in it; for the time is near.

⁴⁶ But while he is still speaking to the crowds, behold, his mother and his brethren stood outside, seeking to speak to him.

⁵⁵ Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is his mother not called Mary? And his brethren, James and Joses and Simon and Jude? ⁵⁶ And are they not all his sisters with us? Therefore from where did this one receive all these things?

¹⁹ Assuredly I say to you again, that if two of you agree together upon the earth concerning any matter, whatever they ask, it will happen for them from my Father who is in the heavens. ²⁰ For where two or three have been gathered together in my name, I am there in the midst of them.

²² And all things, as many things as you may ask in prayer, and believing, you will be receiving.

⁵⁵ Now many women were there viewing from afar, who had followed Jesus from Galilee, serving him:

³¹ Therefore his brethren and his mother come, and standing outside, they sent to him, summoning him. ³² And a crowd was sitting around him, and they said to him, Behold, your mother and your brothers and your sisters are outside seeking you.
³³ And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother or my brethren? ³⁴ And having looked around in a circle at those sitting around him, he says, Behold, my mother and my brethren! ³⁵ For whoever is practicing the will of God, this one is my brother and sister and mother.

⁴⁰ Now there were also women viewing from afar, among whom were both Mary the Magdalene and Mary the mother of James the little and of Joses and Salome;

¹ And when the Sabbath had elapsed, Mary the Magdalene and Mary the mother of James and Salome bought spices, in order that they might come and might anoint him.

² and some women who were healed of evil spirits and sicknesses: Mary who was called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out, ³ and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod’s commissioner, and Susanna, and many others who were serving them from their possessions.

¹ Now he also spoke a parable to them, to show that it is essential for them to always pray, and not to be depressed;

⁴⁹ Now all his acquaintances and the women who followed from Galilee together with him, stood from afar, seeing these things.

⁵⁵ Now having followed after, the women, from Galilee, who were coming together to him, saw the tomb and how his body was laid.

¹⁰ Now those who were saying these things to the apostles were: Mary the Magdalene and Joanna and Mary the mother of James and the rest of the women together with them.

²⁴ Now they, having heard it, lifted up their voice to God united and said, O Lord, you are the God who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all the things in them; ²⁵ who through the mouth of our father David your young-servant, said, ‘Why do the Gentiles rage and the peoples meditate on empty things? ²⁶ The kings of the earth stood up and the rulers were gathered in the same place, against the Lord and against his Christ.’ ²⁷ For against truth, against your holy young-servant Jesus, whom you anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, together with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, were gathered together ²⁸ to do as many things as your hand and your council predetermined to happen. ²⁹ And hereafter, Lord, look upon their threats and give to your bondservants to speak your word with all boldness, ³⁰ in that you stretched out your hand for healing, and signs and wonders to happen through the name of your holy young-servant Jesus. ³¹ And having besought the Lord, the place was shaken in which they were gathered together, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and they were speaking the word of God with boldness.

⁴ But we will be persevering in prayer and in the service of the word.

¹² rejoicing in the hope; enduring in your affliction; persevering in your prayer;

¹⁸ through all prayer and supplication praying in all seasons in the Spirit and watching in this same thing in all perseverance and supplication concerning all the holy-ones.

² Persevere in your prayer, watching in it in thanksgiving;

⁵ I acknowledged my sin to you and I did not hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to Jehovah and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
⁶ On this, let everyone who is devout pray to you in a time when you may be found. Surely when the great waters overflow they will not reach to him.

⁹ Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquities. ¹⁰ Create in me a clean heart, O God and renew a right spirit within me.
¹¹ Cast me not away from your presence and take not your holy Spirit from me. ¹² Restore to me the joy of your salvation and uphold me with a willing spirit.
¹³ Then I will teach transgressors your ways and sinners will be turned to you.

³¹ He placed another parable before them, saying: The kingdom of the heavens is similar to a kernel of a mustard-seed, which a man took and sowed in his field;

³² But I besought concerning you, in order that your faith may not fail, and someday having turned back again, establish your brethren.

¹² Assuredly, assuredly, I am saying to you, He who believes in me, the works which I am doing, he will also be doing, and he will be doing greater works than these, because I am traveling on to my Father.

¹⁵ Therefore when they had a meal, Jesus says to Simon Peter, Simon, Son of Jonah, do you ^{F} love me more-than these things?
He says to him, Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.
He says to him, Feed my lambs.
¹⁶ He says to him again a second-time, Simon, Son of Jonah, do you ^{F} love me?
He says to him, Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.

Peter was sorrowful because he said to him the third-time, Do you ^{F} love me like a friend? And he said to him, Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you like a friend.
Jesus says to him, Feed my sheep.

²³ Therefore, this speech went forth to the brethren, that, that disciple does not die. And yet Jesus did not say to him that he does not die, but, If I will that he remains until I come, what is that to you?

²⁰ Now when they heard it, they were glorifying the Lord, having said to him, You are now viewing brother, how many tens of thousands there are of the Jews who have believed, and they are all zealous ones of the law;

⁶ thereafter he was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, out of whom most remain until now, but some have also fallen-asleep;

¹³ And in that day there became a great earthquake and the tenth part of the city fell, and the names of seven thousand men were killed in the earthquake and the rest became fearful and gave glory to the God of heaven.

² The Spirit of Jehovah spoke by me and his word was upon my tongue.

⁹ Yes, my own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, who ate of my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.

¹² Because it was not an enemy who reproached me. Then I could have borne it. Neither was it he who hated me that magnified himself against me. Then I would have hid myself from him.
¹³ But it was you, a man my equal, my companion and my familiar friend. ¹⁴ We took sweet counsel together. We walked in the house of God with the crowd.
¹⁵ Let death come suddenly upon them. Let them go down alive into Sheol. Because wickedness is in their dwelling, in the midst of them.

⁴⁷ And while still speaking, behold, Judas, one of the twelve, came and with him a large crowd with swords and clubs, from the high-priest and elders of the people.

⁵⁴ Therefore how might the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it is essential to happen as thus?

⁵⁶ But this whole thing has happened, in order that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples left him and fled.

³⁶ David himself said in the Holy Spirit, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at my right hand, until I should place your enemies as the footstool of your feet.’

⁴³ And immediately, as he is still speaking, Judas, being one of the twelve, comes up and with him a large crowd with swords and clubs from the high-priests, and the scribes and the elders.

⁴⁷ While he is still speaking, behold, a crowd and he who was called Judas, one of the twelve, was going before them, and he drew near to Jesus to kiss him.

³⁵ If he called those men gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture is not able to be torn-down),

³⁸ in order that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke, ‘Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?’ ³⁹ Because of this, they were not able to believe, because Isaiah said again, ⁴⁰ ‘He has blinded their eyes and he has hardened their heart; in order that they should not see with their eyes and should perceive with their heart and should turn and that I might heal them.’

² Now Judas, (who is giving him up), also knew the place, because Jesus gathered there often together with his disciples. ³ Therefore, having received the cohort and attendants from the high-priests and the Pharisees, Judas comes there with lanterns and torches and weapons. ⁴ Therefore Jesus, knowing all the things which were coming upon him, went forth and says to them, Whom are you seeking?
⁵ They answered him, Jesus the Nazarene.
Jesus says to them, I am he. And Judas, who was giving him up, stood also with them. ⁶ Therefore, as he said to them, I am he, they went back ward and fell to the level-ground. ⁷ Therefore again he asked them, Whom are you seeking?
And they said, Jesus the Nazarene. ⁸ Jesus answered, I said to you that I am he; therefore if you seek me, allow these men to go away.

²⁸ After this Jesus, having seen that all things have been completed, in order that the Scripture might be completed, which says, ‘I am thirsty.’ ²⁹ Therefore, a vessel was laying full of vinegar, and having filled a sponge with vinegar and having placed it around a hyssop, they brought it to his mouth. ³⁰ Therefore, when Jesus had received the vinegar, he said, It has been completed. And having bowed his head and he gave up the spirit.

³⁶ For these things happened in order that the Scripture might be fulfilled, ‘A bone of him will not be crushed.’

²⁰ For it has been written in the book of Psalms, ‘Let his habitation become desolate and do not let there be one dwelling in it’and, ‘Let a different one take his overseership.’

²³ being given up by what had been determined by the plan and foreknowledge of God, you assassinated him, having taken him and fastened him to a cross through lawless hands;

²⁹ Brethren, it is legal for me to speak publicly to you concerning the patriarch David, that he is both dead and was buried and his tomb is among us to this day. ³⁰ Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that from the fruit of his loins, to raise up the Christ according to the flesh to sit upon his throne. ³¹ Foreseeing this, he spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that neither was his soul left to Hades, nor did his flesh see decay.

² Now he said, Brethren and fathers, listen : the God of glory appeared to our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Haran,

¹⁵ Now after the public-reading of the law and the prophets, the rulers of the synagogue sent for them, saying, Men, brethren, if there is a word of encouragement to the people in you, speak it.

²⁶ Brethren, sons from the race of Abraham and those who fear God among you, the word of this salvation was sent forth to you. ²⁷ For those dwelling in Jerusalem and their rulers who were ignorant of this one, and the voices of the prophets which are read on every Sabbath, they fulfilled them by having judged him to death. \ulnone\nosupersub ²⁸ And though no one found a crime worthy of death in him, they still asked Pilate to assassinate him. ²⁹ Now as they completed all things which have been written concerning him, they took him down from the tree and laid him in a tomb.

³⁸ Therefore brethren, let it be known to you that forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you through this one;

⁷ Now after much debate had happened, Peter standing up, said to them, Brethren, you know that from the days of old among us, God chose through my mouth, that the Gentiles were to hear the word of the good-news and to believe it.

¹ Brethren and fathers! Hear my defense which I now make to you.

¹ Now Paul, having staring to ward the council, said, Men, brethren, I have behaved-as a Jewish citizen to ward God in all good conscience till this day.

⁶ But when Paul knew that the one part were Sadducees and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men, brethren, I am a Pharisee, a son of a Pharisee. I am being judged concerning the hope and resurrection of the dead.

¹⁷ Now after three days Paul happened to call together those who are the foremost of the Jews and when they came together, he said to them, Brethren, I have done nothing adverse to the Jewish people or the customs of our forefathers. I, a prisoner from Jerusalem, was given up into the hands of the Romans.

²⁵ But when they disagreed among themselves, they were dismissing themselves after Paul had spoken just one declaration, The Holy Spirit spoke well through Isaiah the prophet to our fathers,

⁷ Hence, as the Holy Spirit says, ‘Today if you hear his voice, ⁸ do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, according to the day of the testing in the wilderness,

¹¹ searching what time or what sort of time the Spirit of Christ in them was indicating, when testifying beforehand of the sufferings for Christ and the glories following after these things.

²¹ For it was better for them to have not known fully the way of righteousness, than to turn away from the holy commandment given to them after having fully known it.

And they come into a house.

¹⁶ and Judas the son

⁷⁰ He answered them, Did I not choose you the twelve and one out of you is a slanderer? ⁷¹ Now he was speaking of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, being one out of the twelve, for he was about to give him up to the Jews.

¹² When I was with them in the world, I was keeping them in your name whom you have given me. I guarded them and not one out of them perished, except the son of destruction; in order that the Scripture might be fulfilled.

²⁵ to receive the inheritance of this service and apostleship from which Judas transgressed, so as to travel on to his own place.

²⁵ Now Barnabas and Saul returned to Jerusalem, having fulfilled the service and having taken together with them also John, who was surnamed Mark.

²⁴ But I make account of nothing, nor am I holding my life as precious to myself, as I desire to complete my course with joy, and the service which I received from the Lord Jesus, to thoroughly testify the good-news of the favor of God.

¹⁹ And having greeted them, he was describing one by one each of the things God had done among the Gentiles through his service.

¹ Because of this, having this service, just-as we have been shown-mercy, we are not depressed.

¹⁸ But all things are from God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ and gave the service of reconciliation to us;

⁷ And the elders of Moab and the elders of Midian departed with the rewards of divination in their hand and they came to Balaam and spoke to him the words of Balak.

¹⁷ For I will promote you to very great honor and whatever you say to me I will do. Therefore, I beseech you, come curse this people for me.

²¹ When I saw among the spoil a pleasant Babylonian mantle and two hundred shekels of silver and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I desired them and took them. And behold, they are hid in the ground in the midst of my tent and the silver under it.
²² So Joshua sent messengers and they ran to the tent. And behold, it was hid in his tent and the silver under it. ²³ And they took them from the midst of the tent and brought them to Joshua and to all the sons of Israel and they laid them down before Jehovah.
²⁴ And Joshua and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah and the silver and the mantle and the wedge of gold and his sons and his daughters and his oxen and his donkeys and his sheep and his tent and all that he had and they brought them up to the valley of Achor.
²⁵ And Joshua said, Why have you troubled us? Jehovah will trouble you this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones and they burned them with fire and stoned them with stones. ²⁶ And they raised over him a great heap of stones, to this day and Jehovah turned from the fierceness of his anger. Therefore the name of that place was called the valley of Achor to this day.

²⁰ But Gehazi the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, Behold, my master has spared this Naaman the Syrian, in not receiving at his hands what he brought. As Jehovah lives, I will run after him and take something from him.
²¹ So Gehazi followed after Naaman. And when Naaman saw him running after him, he alighted from the chariot to meet him and said, Is all well? ²² And he said, All is well. My master has sent me, saying, Behold, even now there come to me from the hill-country of Ephraim two young men of the sons of the prophets. I beseech you, give them a talant of silver and two changes of garments.
²³ And Naaman said, Be pleased to take two talants. And he urged him and bound two talants of silver in two bags, with two changes of garments and laid them upon two of his servants and they bore them before him. ²⁴ And when he came to the hill, he took them from their hand and bestowed them in the house and he let the men go and they departed.
²⁵ But he went in and stood before his master. And Elisha said to him, From where did you come, Gehazi? And he said, Your servant went nowhere. ²⁶ And he said to him, Did not my heart go with you when the man turned from his chariot to meet you? Is it a time to receive money and to receive garments and olive-groves and vineyards and sheep and oxen and men-servants and maidservants? ²⁷ The leprosy therefore of Naaman will cling to you and to your seed everlasting. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.

¹² Though wickedness be sweet in his mouth, though he hide it under his tongue, ¹³ though he spares it and will not let it go, but keep it still within his mouth, ¹⁴ yet his food in his guts is turned. It is the gall of adders within him. ¹⁵ He has swallowed down riches and he will vomit them up again. God will cast them out of his belly.

¹⁵ Let death come suddenly upon them. Let them go down alive into Sheol. Because wickedness is in their dwelling, in the midst of them.

²³ But you, O God, will bring them down into the pit of destruction. Bloodthirsty and deceitful men will not live out half their days, but I will trust in you.

¹⁵ And to one he gave five silver talants, but to another two, and to another one; to each according to his own ability, and immediately went-abroad.

¹⁴ Then one of the twelve, who was called Judas Iscariot, traveled to the high-priests ¹⁵ and said, What are you willing to give me and I will be giving him to you? Now they weighed out thirty pieces of silver for him.

³ Then Judas, (the one giving him up), when he saw that he was condemned, regretted and returned the thirty pieces of silver to the high-priests and the elders, ⁴ saying, I have sinned, giving up innocent blood.
But they said, What is that to us? You will see to it. ⁵ And tossing the pieces of silver in the temple, he departed. And having gone away, he hanged himself.
⁶ Now the high-priests took the pieces of silver and said, It is not legal to put them into the depository, since it is the price of blood. ⁷ Now they took counsel and bought from them the potter’s field, for the burial of strangers. ⁸ Hence until today, the field was called, The Field of Blood. ⁹ Then what was spoken through the prophet was fulfilled, saying, ‘And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of the one who has been priced, whom some of the sons of Israel priced for themselves; ¹⁰ and they gave them for the potter’s field, just-as the Lord commanded me.’

¹⁵ having left the straight way. They were misled, having followed in the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; ¹⁶ but he had his reproof from his own violation of the law: a voiceless donkey, having spoken in a human voice, forbade the insanity of the prophet.

¹⁶ And each man caught his fellow by the head and thrust his sword in his fellow's side, so they fell down together. Therefore that place was called Helkath-hazzurim, which is in Gibeon.

¹⁵ So they took the silver and did like they were taught and this speech was broadcasted with the Jews and is continuing till today.

⁴⁰ Now having permitted him, Paul, standing upon the steps, beckoned with the hand to the people, and when there became much silence, he was shouting to them in the Hebrew language, saying,

²⁵ Let their habitation be desolate. Let none dwell in their tents.

⁸ Let his days be few and let another take his office.
⁹ Let his sons be fatherless and his wife a widow. ¹⁰ Let his sons be vagabonds and beg and let them seek out of their desolate places. ¹¹ Let a creditor exact all that he has and let strangers make spoil of his labor.
¹² Let there be none to prolong kindness to him, nor let there be any to have pity on his fatherless sons. ¹³ Let his posterity be cut off. Let their name be blotted out in the following generation.
¹⁴ Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with Jehovah and do not let the sin of his mother be blotted out.
¹⁵ Let them be before Jehovah continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth,

³ Then he said to me, This is the curse that goes forth over the face of the whole land. For everyone who steals will be cut off on the one side according to it and everyone who swears will be cut off on the other side according to it. ⁴ I will cause it to go forth, says Jehovah of hosts and it will enter into the house of the thief and into the house of him who swears falsely by my name. And it will abide in the midst of his house and will consume it, with the timber of it and the stones of it.

⁴² And David himself says in the book of Psalms, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at my right hand,

⁴⁴ Now he said to them, These are the words which I spoke to you, being still together with you, that it is essential for all things to be fulfilled, which have been written in the Law of Moses and the prophets and the Psalms, concerning me.

³³ as it has also been written in the second Psalm, ‘You are my Son; I have fathered you today.’

¹⁷ who may go out before them and who may come in before them and who may lead them out and who may bring them in, that the congregation of Jehovah is not as sheep which have no shepherd.

² And he said to them, I am a hundred and twenty years old this day. I can no more go out and come in. And Jehovah has said to me, You will not go over this Jordan.

² In times past, when Saul was king over us, it was you who led out and brought in Israel. And Jehovah said to you, You will be shepherd of my people Israel and you will be prince over Israel.

⁷ And now, O Jehovah my God, you have made your servant king instead of David my father. And I am but a little child; I do not know how to go out or come in.

¹ Now after these things, the Lord also delegated seventy others, and sent them two apiece into every city and place before his face, where he himself was about to go. ² Therefore he said to them, The harvest is indeed large, but the workers are few, therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest, that he should put out workers into his harvest.

¹ Assuredly, assuredly, I am saying to you, He who does not enter in through the door into the sheep’s pen, but goes up elsewhere, that man is a thief and a robber. ² But he who enters in through the door is the shepherd of the sheep. ³ The doorkeeper opens to him, and the sheep hear his voice and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. ⁴ And whenever he has cast out his own sheep, he travels before them and the sheep follow him, because they know his voice. ⁵ But they may never follow another man, but will be fleeing from him, because they do not know the voice of others. ⁶ (Jesus was speaking this metaphor to them, but those men did not know what it was that he was speaking to them.)
⁷ Therefore Jesus said to them again, Assuredly, assuredly, I am saying to you, I am the door of the sheep. ⁸ All things, as many things as came before are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. ⁹ I am the door; if anyone enters through me, he will be saved and will enter and will go out and will find pasture.

¹ Now in those days John the Immerser comes, preaching in the wilderness of Judea, ² and saying, Repent; for the kingdom of the heavens has drawn near. ³ For this one is he who was spoken of by Isaiah the prophet, saying, ‘A voice is crying in the wilderness, prepare the way of the Lord, make^*\'b0 his paths straight.’ ⁴ Now John himself had his outer clothing made of camel’s hair and a leather belt around his loin, and his nourishment was locusts and wild honey. ⁵ Then Jerusalem and everyone in Judea and everyone from the region around the Jordan were traveling out to him. ⁶ And they were being immersed by him in the Jordan, confessing their sins. ⁷ But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his immersion, he said to them, Offspring of vipers, who warned you to flee from the future wrath? ⁸ Therefore produce fruit worthy of repentance. ⁹ Do not think to say among yourselves, We have Abraham for our father; for I say to you, that God is able to lift up children out of these stones for Abraham. ¹⁰ But even already, the ax is laid to the root of the trees, because every tree which is not producing good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire.
¹¹ I indeed immerse you in water toward repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not sufficient to bear. He will immerse you in the Holy Spirit; ¹² whose winnowing fan is in his hand, and he will be thoroughly cleansing his threshing floor, and he will be gathering his grain into the barn, but the chaff he will be burning up with unquenchable fire.


¹³ Then Jesus comes from Galilee to John, to be immersed by him in the Jordan. ¹⁴ But John was preventing him, saying, I have need to be immersed by you and you are coming to me?
¹⁵ But Jesus answered and said to him, Allow it now; for thus it is suitable for us to fulfill every righteousness. Then he allows him.
¹⁶ And Jesus when he was immersed, came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God coming down, like a dove, and coming upon him; ¹⁷ and behold, a voice came out of the heavens, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am delighted.

The beginning of the good-news of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. ² As it has been written in the prophets, ‘Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will be preparing your way.’ ³ ‘The voice of one crying in the wilderness, prepare the way of the Lord; make^*\'b0 his paths straight.’ ⁴ John came, immersing in the wilderness and preaching the immersion of repentance into the forgiveness of sins. ⁵ And all the region of Judea and all those from Jerusalem were traveling out to him, and all were being immersed by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins. ⁶ Now John was eating locusts and wild honey, having clothed himself with camel’s hair, and a leather belt around his loin.
⁷ And he preached, saying, There is one coming after me, the mightier one than I. I am not sufficient to stoop and loose the strap of his shoes. ⁸ I indeed immersed you in water, but he will immerse you in the Holy Spirit.

¹ Now in the fifteenth year of the government of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judea, and Herod being Tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip, Tetrarch of the region made up of Ituraea and Trachonitis, and Lysanias being Tetrarch of Abilene, ² in the time of Annas and Caiaphas, the high-priests, the declaration of God came to John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness. ³ And he came into all the region around the Jordan, preaching the immersion of repentance into the forgiveness of sins; ⁴ as it has been written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, saying, ‘The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare the way of the Lord. Make^*\'b0 his paths straight. ⁵ Every valley will be filled and every mountain and hill will be humbled. And the crooked will become straight and the rough ways, smooth. ⁶ And all flesh will be seeing the salvation of God.’
⁷ Therefore, he was saying to the crowds who traveled out to be immersed by him, Offspring of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the future wrath? ⁸ Therefore produce fruits worthy of repentance and do not begin to say among yourselves, We have Abraham as our father; for I say to you, that God is able to lift up children to Abraham from these stones. ⁹ Now the ax is also already destined toward the root of the trees. Therefore, every tree which is not producing good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire.
¹⁰ And the crowds asked him, saying, Therefore what shall we do?
¹¹ But he answered and said to them, He who has two tunics, let him give one to the one who has none, and he who has food, let him do likewise.
¹² Now tax collectors also came to be immersed, and they said to him, Teacher, what shall we do?
¹³ Now he said to them, Appropriate no more than what has been appointed for you.
¹⁴ But the active soldiers were also asking him, saying, And we, what shall we do?
And he said to them, Intimidate no one, nor cheat anyone, and be content with your rations.
¹⁵ But the people are expecting, and all are reasoning in their hearts concerning John, maybe, he might be the Christ; ¹⁶ John answered, saying to them all, I indeed immerse you in water, but the mightier one than I is coming, the strap of whose shoes I am not sufficient to loose. He will immerse you in the Holy Spirit, and in fire; ¹⁷ whose winnowing fan is in his hand, and he will be thoroughly cleansing his threshing floor, and will be gathering the grain into his barn, but the chaff he will burn up with unquenchable fire.
¹⁸ Therefore indeed, he was proclaiming the good-news to the people, encouraging them also with many other things.

²⁸ These things happened in Bethany beyond-that area of the Jordan, where John was immersing.


²⁹ On the next-day he sees Jesus coming toward him and says, Behold, the Lamb of God, who is taking away the sin of the world! ³⁰ This one is he, concerning whom I said, A man is coming after me who has become before me, because he was first; then me. ³¹ And I did not know him, but in order that he should be manifested to Israel. I came immersing in water because of this. ³² And John testified, saying, I have seen the Spirit coming down like a dove from heaven, and it remained upon him. ³³ And I did not know him, but he who sent me to immerse in water, that one said to me, Upon whomever you see the Spirit coming down and remaining upon him, this one is he who immerses in the Holy Spirit. ³⁴ And I have seen, and have testified, that this is the Son of God.


³⁵ Again on the next-day, John and two others from his disciples stood around. ³⁶ And having looked at Jesus walking, he says, Behold, the Lamb of God! ³⁷ And the two disciples heard him speak and they followed Jesus.
³⁸ Now Jesus, having turned, saw them following, and says to them, What are you seeking?
But they said to him, Rabbi (which is to say, by translation: Teacher), where do you abide?
³⁹ He says to them, Come and see.
They went and saw where he abode, and they remained with him that day. It was approximately the tenth hour. ⁴⁰ One out of the two who heard this from John was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother and he followed him. ⁴¹ This one finds first his own brother Simon and says to him, We have found the Messiah (which is, after being translated, The Christ).
⁴² And he led him toward Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, You are Simon, the Son of Jonah, you will be called Cephas, which is by translation, a Pebble.
⁴³ On the next-day, he wished to go out into Galilee, and he finds Philip, and Jesus says to him, Follow me.
⁴⁴ Now Philip was from Bethsaida, from the city of Andrew and Peter. ⁴⁵ Philip finds Nathanael and says to him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law and the prophets wrote, Jesus from Nazareth, the son of Joseph.
⁴⁶ And Nathanael said to him, Is any good thing able to be coming out of Nazareth?
Philip says to him, Come and behold!
⁴⁷ Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and says concerning him, Behold, an Israelite in whom there truly is no treachery!
⁴⁸ Nathanael says to him, From where do you know me?
Jesus answered and said to him, Before Philip summoned you, I saw you being under the fig tree.
⁴⁹ Nathanael answered and says to him, Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel.
⁵⁰ Jesus answered and said to him, Is it because I said to you, I saw you underneath the fig tree that you believe? You will be seeing greater than these things. ⁵¹ And he says to him, Assuredly, assuredly, I am saying to you, From now on, you will be seeing the heaven has opened, and the messengers of God ascending and coming down upon the Son of Man.

⁸ But you will be receiving power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be witnesses to me, both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the outermost parts of the earth.

⁹ And having said these things, and whil e looking at him, he was lifted up, and a cloud received him out of their staring eyes.

²⁴ when John preached beforehand the immersion of repentance to Israel, before his face and before his entrance. ²⁵ Now as John was fulfilling his course, he was saying, Who do you perceive that I am? I am not he. But behold, there is one coming after me, of whom I am not worthy to loosen the shoes of his feet.

³ how shall we flee, having neglected so-great a salvation, which having received at the beginning was spoken through the Lord, which was confirmed to us from those who heard it?

²⁶ And they gave them their lots and the lot fell upon Matthias, and he was enumerated together with the eleven apostles.

²² Then it seemed good to the apostles and the elders, together with the whole congregation, to send chosen men from them selves together with Paul and Barnabas to Antioch, leading men among the brethren: Judas surnamed Barsabbas and Silas.

¹⁶ Let Jehovah, the God of the spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the congregation,

⁷ But Jehovah said to Samuel, Do not look on his countenance, or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For Jehovah sees not as man sees, for man looks on the outward appearance, but Jehovah looks on the heart.

³⁹ then hear you in heaven your dwelling-place and forgive and do and render to every man according to all his ways, whose heart you know (for you, even you only, know the hearts of all the sons of men),

⁹ And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind, for Jehovah searches all hearts and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever.

¹⁷ I know also, my God, that you try the heart and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things. And now I have seen with joy your people, who are present here, offer willingly to you.

⁹ O let the evil of the wicked man come to an end, but establish the righteous man. For the righteous God tries the minds and hearts.

²¹ will not God search this out? Because he knows the secrets of the heart.

⁵ Trust in Jehovah with all your heart and do not lean upon your own understanding. ⁶ Acknowledge him in all your ways and he will direct your paths.

¹¹ Sheol and Abaddon are before Jehovah, also the hearts of the sons of men!

²⁰ But, O Jehovah of hosts, who judges righteously, who tries the heart and the mind, I will see your vengeance on them, for to you I have revealed my case.

¹⁰ I, Jehovah, search the mind. I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his practices.

¹² But, O Jehovah of hosts, who tries the righteous, who sees the heart and the mind, let me see your vengeance on them, for to you I have revealed my cause.

¹² Now it happened in these days, that he went out into the mountain to pray, and he was persisting through the night in prayer to God. ¹³ And when it became day, he summons his disciples, and he chose from them twelve, whom he also named apostles:

²⁴ But Jesus himself was not entrusting himself to them, because he knew all men, \ulnone\nosupersub ²⁵ and because he had no need that anyone should testify concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.

¹⁷ He says to him the third-time, Simon, Son of Jonah, Do you ^{F} love me?
Peter was sorrowful because he said to him the third-time, Do you ^{F} love me like a friend? And he said to him, Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you like a friend.
Jesus says to him, Feed my sheep.

⁶ whom they stood in the sight of the apostles and having prayed, they laid their hands upon them.

² Now while ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, Separate^*\'b0 Barnabas and Saul for me, for the work to which I have called them. ³ Then having fasted and prayed and having laid their hands on them, they dismissed them.

²³ Now having assigned elders to them in every congregation, and when they had prayed with fastings, they consigned them to the Lord, in whom they had believed.

⁸ And God, the knower of hearts, testified of them, having given them the Holy Spirit, just-as he did also to us;

²⁷ and he who is searching the hearts knows what the mindset of the Spirit is, because he is petitioning on behalf of the holy-ones according to the will of God.

¹³ And there is no created thing unapparent in his sight, but all things are naked and have been laid-bare to his eyes to whom is our account.

²³ And I will be killing her children with death, and all the congregations will know that I am he who is searching the kidneys and hearts and I will be giving to you, each one according to your works.

¹³ So Saul died for his trespass which he committed against Jehovah, because of the word of Jehovah, which he did not keep and also because he asked counsel of a spiritist, to inquire of it, ¹⁴ and did not inquire of Jehovah. Therefore he killed him and turned the kingdom to David the son of Jesse.

⁷ When he is judged, let him come out guilty and let his prayer be turned into sin.

⁴¹ Then he will also say to them at the left, Travel away from me, you those who have been cursed into the everlasting fire which has been prepared for the devil and his messengers:

⁴⁶ And these will be going away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into everlasting life.

²⁴ The Son of Man indeed is going, just-as it has been written concerning him, but woe to that man through whom the Son of Man is given up! It was

³ Then Judas, (the one giving him up), when he saw that he was condemned, regretted and returned the thirty pieces of silver to the high-priests and the elders, ⁴ saying, I have sinned, giving up innocent blood.
But they said, What is that to us? You will see to it. ⁵ And tossing the pieces of silver in the temple, he departed. And having gone away, he hanged himself.

²⁷ And after the morsel, then the Adversary entered into him. Therefore Jesus says to that man, What you are doing, do quickly.

¹⁶ Brethren, it was essential that this Scripture might be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit said beforehand through the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide to those who took Jesus, ¹⁷ because he was numbered together with us and was allotted his inheritance in this service.


¹⁸ (Therefore indeed, this one procured a parcel of ground from the reward of his unrighteousness, and he happened to fall-flat and ruptured in the middle and all his bowels were poured out. ¹⁹ And it became known to all the dwellers in Jerusalem; so-that in their own language this place was called Akeldama, that is, The Place of Blood.) ²⁰ For it has been written in the book of Psalms, ‘Let his habitation become desolate and do not let there be one dwelling in it’and, ‘Let a different one take his overseership.’ ²¹ Therefore, of those men who have come together with us all the time in which the Lord Jesus entered in and went out among us,

⁵ Through whom, we received grace and apostleship, into the obedience of the faith in all the nations, on behalf of his name;

² If I am not an apostle to others, but yet I am to you; for you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.

⁸ (for he who worked in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision also worked in me to the Gentiles).

³ And in their greed, they will be merchants of you with fabricated words; to whom the condemnation from long-ago is not idle, and their destruction will not be slumbering.
⁴ For if God did not spare messengers who sinned, but threw them into hell and gave them to restraints of blackness, being kept for judgment; ⁵ and he did not spare the ancient world, but guarded Noah, the eighth person spared, a preacher of righteousness, when he brought a flood upon the world of ungodly people; ⁶ and he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, with a catastrophe, incinerating them, having placed them as an example for those who are about to be ungodly;

⁶ And the messengers who did not keep to their own principality, but having left their own house, he has kept to the judgment of the great day in eternal bonds under blackness. ⁷ As Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them in a similar manner with these, having indulged in fornication and having gone after different flesh, are laying before us as an example, being held under the sentence of everlasting fire.

⁸ And Aaron will cast lots upon the two goats, one lot for Jehovah and the other lot for the scapegoat.

¹⁰ And Joshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before Jehovah. And there Joshua divided the land to the sons of Israel according to their divisions.

⁴¹ Therefore Saul said to Jehovah, the God of Israel, Show the right. And Jonathan and Saul were taken by lot, but the people escaped. ⁴² And Saul said, Cast lots between me and Jonathan my son. And Jonathan was taken.

⁵ Thus they were divided by lot, one sort with another. For there were rulers of the sanctuary and rulers for God, both of the sons of Eleazar and of the sons of Ithamar.

²² Understanding is a well-spring of life to him who has it, but the correction of fools is folly.

⁷ And they said every one to his fellow, Come and let us cast lots, that we may know for whose cause this evil is upon us. So they cast lots and the lot fell upon Jonah.

¹⁹ And having demolished seven nations in the land of Canaan, he gave to them their land for an inheritance.
