¹ After these things, Jesus manifested himself again to the disciples upon the sea of Tiberias, and he appeared thus. ² They were united-together at Galilee: Simon Peter and Thomas called Didymus and Nathanael from Cana of Galilee and the sons of Zebedee and two others out of his disciples. ³ Simon Peter says to them, I am going to fish.
They say to him, We are also coming together with you. They went forth and immediately stepped into the ship, and they clutched nothing in the net in that night.
⁴ Now having already become morning, Jesus stood at the beach; nevertheless the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. ⁵ Therefore Jesus says to them, Children, do you have any fish?
They answered him, No.
⁶ But he said to them, Cast the net toward the right part of the ship and you will find some. Therefore they cast it, and they were not strong-enough to drag it into the ship away from the multitude of fish.
⁷ Therefore, that disciple whom Jesus loved says to Peter, It is the Lord. Therefore Simon Peter having heard, It is the Lord; he girded his outer clothing upon himself (for he was naked) and cast himself into the sea. ⁸ But the other disciples came in the small-boat (for they were not far from the land, but approximately two hundred cubits away from it), dragging the net full of fish. ⁹ Therefore as they stepped away to the land, they see a coal-fire laying there and a little-fish laying on it and bread.
¹⁰ Jesus says to them, Bring some of the little-fish which you have now clutched in the net. ¹¹ Simon Peter went up and dragged the net to the land, full of great fish, a hundred and fifty-three and there were so-many, yet the net was not split-apart. ¹² Jesus says to them, Come-here. Have a meal.
But none of the disciples were daring to probe him, Who are you (knowing that it was the Lord)? ¹³ Therefore Jesus comes and takes the bread and gives it to them and the little-fish likewise. ¹⁴ This is already the third-time that Jesus was manifested to his disciples, after having been raised from the dead.
¹⁵ Therefore when they had a meal, Jesus says to Simon Peter, Simon, Son of Jonah, do you ^{F} love me more-than these things?
He says to him, Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.
He says to him, Feed my lambs.
¹⁶ He says to him again a second-time, Simon, Son of Jonah, do you ^{F} love me?
He says to him, Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.
He says to him, Shepherd my sheep.
¹⁷ He says to him the third-time, Simon, Son of Jonah, Do you ^{F} love me?
Peter was sorrowful because he said to him the third-time, Do you ^{F} love me like a friend? And he said to him, Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you like a friend.
Jesus says to him, Feed my sheep. ¹⁸ Assuredly, assuredly, I am saying to you, When you were younger, you were girding yourself and were walking where you were wishing to go, but whenever you are elderly, you will stretch out your hands and another will gird you and will be carrying you where you do not wish. ¹⁹ Now he spoke this signifying by what sort of death he should glorify God. And having said this, he says to him, Follow me.
²⁰ But Peter, turning again, sees the disciple whom Jesus loved following; who also leaned-back upon his chest at the supper and who had said, Lord, who is he who is giving you up? ²¹ Peter seeing this one says to Jesus, Lord and what about this one?
²² Jesus says to him, If I will for him to abide until I come, what is that to you? You, follow me!
²³ Therefore, this speech went forth to the brethren, that, that disciple does not die. And yet Jesus did not say to him that he does not die, but, If I will that he remains until I come, what is that to you?
²⁴ This is the disciple who is testifying concerning these things and wrote these things and we know that his testimony is true.
²⁵ Now there are also many other things testifying to how-much Jesus did, which if they are written one by one, I assume that not even the world itself could make room for the written books.

³² But after I arise, I will be preceding you into Galilee.

⁷ And when you have traveled quickly, say to his disciples, He was raised from the dead, and behold, he is preceding you into Galilee; you will be seeing him there. Behold, I have said this to you.

¹⁶ But the eleven disciples traveled into Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had appointed to them.

⁷ But go away; say to his disciples and Peter, He precedes you into Galilee. You will be seeing him there, like he said to you.

¹² Now after these things, he was manifested in a different form to two out of them while they are walking, traveling into the rural-area.

¹ After these things, Jesus went away to the area beyond-that of the sea of Galilee, to the sea of Tiberias.

²³ (but other small-boats came from Tiberias near to the place where they ate the bread after the Lord had given-thanks).

¹⁹ Therefore being evening on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors had been locked where the disciples were gathered because of fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the middle, and says to them, Peace to you. ²⁰ And having said this, he showed to them the hands and his ribs. Therefore the disciples rejoiced, having seen the Lord.
²¹ Therefore Jesus said to them again, Peace to you; just-as the Father has sent me; I am also sending you. ²² And after having said this, he infused them and says to them, Receive the Holy Spirit. ²³ If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven to them by God; if you hold-fast anyone’s sins, those sins have been held-fast.
²⁴ But Thomas, one out of the twelve, who is called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. ²⁵ Therefore, the other disciples said to him, We have seen the Lord.
But he said to them, If I do not see the pattern of the nails in his hands and may put my finger into the pattern of the nails and may put my hand into his ribs, I will never believe.


²⁶ And after eight days his disciples were inside again and Thomas with them. Jesus comes, the doors having been locked and stood in the middle and said, Peace to you. ²⁷ Thereafter he says to Thomas, Bring your finger here and behold the hands, and bring your hand here and put it into my ribs and do not become unbelieving, but become believing.
²⁸ And Thomas answered and said to him, My Lord and my God!
²⁹ Jesus says to him, Because you have seen me, you have believed, but the fortunate ones have not seen and yet have believed.

¹⁴ This is already the third-time that Jesus was manifested to his disciples, after having been raised from the dead.

²⁸ and Ebron and Rehob and Hammon and Kanah, even to great Sidon,

²¹ And having advanced from there, he saw two other brothers, James, the son of Zebedee and John, his brother, in the ship with Zebedee, their father, mending their nets. And he called them. ²² Now immediately they followed him having left the ship and their father.

¹⁰ and likewise also James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon.
And Jesus said to Simon, Do not fear; hereafter you will be catching live men.

⁴⁵ Philip finds Nathanael and says to him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law and the prophets wrote, Jesus from Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

¹¹ This one was the beginning of the signs which Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested his glory, and his disciples believed in him.

⁴⁶ Therefore, Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick in Capernaum.

¹⁶ Therefore Thomas, who is called Didymus, said to his fellow disciples, We should also go, in order that we may die with him.

²⁸ And Thomas answered and said to him, My Lord and my God!

¹ And the sons of the prophets said to Elisha, Behold now, the place where we dwell before you is too confined for us. ² Please let us go to the Jordan and every man take a beam from there and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell. And he answered, Go. ³ And one said, I beseech you, be pleased to go with your servants. And he answered, I will go. ⁴ So he went with them. And when they came to the Jordan, they cut down wood.
⁵ But as one was felling a beam, the axe-head fell into the water. And he cried and said, Alas, my master! For it was borrowed. ⁶ And the man of God said, Where did it fall? And he showed him the place. And he cut down a stick and cast it in there and made the iron to float. ⁷ And he said, Take it up to you. So he put out his hand and took it.

¹⁸ Now walking beside the sea of Galilee, he saw two brethren, Simon who is called Peter and Andrew, his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. ¹⁹ And he says to them, Come-here after me and I will make you fishermen of men. ²⁰ Now immediately, they left the nets and followed him.

⁵ And Simon answered and said to him, Master, we labored through the whole night and took nothing, but at your declaration I will lower the net.

¹⁰ and likewise also James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon.
And Jesus said to Simon, Do not fear; hereafter you will be catching live men. ¹¹ And having brought their ships to land, they left all and followed him.

³ also because he was of the same craft. He was remaining and working beside them, for they were tent makers, by the craft.

³⁴ You yourselves know that these hands attended to my needs, and to those being with me.

⁷ So-then neither is the one who is planting anything, nor the one who is watering, but God who is causing the growth.

⁶ Or is it only Barnabas and I who have no authority not to work?

⁹ For brethren, you remember our labor and hardship. For we were working night and day, that we might not burden any of you while we preached to you the good-news of God.

⁷ For you yourselves know how it is essential for you to imitate us. Because we did not act-disorderly among you; ⁸ nor did we eat bread freely from anyone, but in labor and hardship, working night and day, that we might not burden anyone of you; ⁹ not because we did not have the authority, but in order that we might give ourselves as an example to you, that you might imitate us.

¹⁵ And it happened, while they are conversing and debating together, that Jesus himself, having drawn near, was traveling together with them. ¹⁶ But their eyes were being held-fast so as not to recognize him.

³¹ Now their eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he became unapparent from them.

¹⁴ And having said these things, she turned backward and views Jesus standing and did not know that it was Jesus.

³ Trust in Jehovah and do good. Dwell in the land and feed on his faithfulness.

⁴¹ But still disbelieving this from joy and marveling; he said to them, Do you have anything edible here? ⁴² Now they gave part of a broiled fish to him and part of the honeycomb. ⁴³ And he took and ate it in their sight.

¹¹ Not that I am speaking according to my lack of things; for I have learned what things I am to be content. ¹² I know how to be also humbled; I also know how to also abound. I have been initiated in everything, and in all things, both to be fed and to be hungry, both to abound and to lack. ¹³ I am strong in all things in the Christ, who is empowering me.

¹⁹ Now my God will be filling every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

⁵ In the manner of life, not being a money-lover, be content with the things which are present; for he himself has said, I may never be lax concerning you, nor should I ever forsake you.

¹³ I am writing to you, fathers, because you have known the one who is from the beginning. I am writing to you, young-men, because you have overcome the evil one. I am writing to you, children, because you have known the Father.

¹⁸ Children, it is the last hour and just-as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have become known; hence we know that it is the last hour.

⁸ the birds of the heavens and the fish of the sea, whatever passes through the paths of the seas.

²⁷ and the rain came down and the rivers came up and the winds blew and hit that house and it fell and great was its fall.

⁴ Now as he ceased speaking, he said to Simon, Set-sail into the deep and lower your nets for a catch.
⁵ And Simon answered and said to him, Master, we labored through the whole night and took nothing, but at your declaration I will lower the net. ⁶ And having done this, they locked up together a large multitude of fish, and their net was being ripped; ⁷ and they signaled to their companions, those in the other ship, that they should come to help them. And they came and filled both the ships, so-that they are about to be submerged.

⁵ His mother says to the servants, If he says anything to you, do it.

⁴¹ Therefore indeed, they, who gladly accepted his word, were immersed, and approximately three thousand souls was added to them in that day.

⁴ But many of those who heard the word believed, and the number of the men happened to be approximately five thousand.

⁶ But a certain writer has thoroughly testified somewhere, saying, ‘What is man, that you remember him? Or the son of man, that you visit him? ⁷ You made him a bit of something inferior less than the messengers. You crowned him with glory and honor. And stood him over the works of your hands. \ulnone\nosupersub ⁸ You subjected all things underneath his feet.’For in that he subjected all things to him, he left nothing which is not subject to him. But we now do not yet see all things having been subjected to him. ⁹ But we see Jesus who has been made a bit of something inferior, less than the messengers, having been crowned with glory and honor, because of the suffering of the death he underwent, that in the grace from God, he should taste of death on behalf of everyone.

²³ This is from Jehovah. It is marvelous in our eyes.

⁷ Many waters cannot quench love, nor can floods drown it. If a man would give all the substance of his house for love, he would be utterly scorned.

²⁸ Now Peter having answered to him, said, Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you upon the waters.
²⁹ Now he said, Come.
And Peter went down from the ship, and walked upon the waters to go toward Jesus.

³ And if anyone says to you, Why are you doing this? Say that the Lord has need of him, and immediately he will send it here.

¹¹ because there was born to you today in the city of David, a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

⁴⁷ Because of which, I say to you, Her sins, which are many, have been forgiven, because she loved much, but to whom few is forgiven, the same loves few.

²³ But one of his disciples was reclining on Jesus’bosom, the one whom Jesus loved.

²⁶ Therefore, when Jesus saw his mother and the disciple, whom he loved, standing beside her, he says to his mother, Woman, behold your son!

² Therefore she runs and comes to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and says to them, They have taken away the Lord from the tomb and we do not know where they have laid him.

²⁰ And having said this, he showed to them the hands and his ribs. Therefore the disciples rejoiced, having seen the Lord.

²⁴ This is the disciple who is testifying concerning these things and wrote these things and we know that his testimony is true.

³⁶ Therefore, let all the house of Israel know with certainty, that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.

³⁶ The word which he sent to the sons of Israel, proclaiming the good-news of peace through Jesus Christ (this one is Lord of all).

⁴⁷ The first man is out of the earth, the terrestrial; the second man, the Lord, is out of heaven.

¹⁴ For the love of Christ is holding us together with him, having judged this thing: if one died on behalf of all, consequently, all died;

¹ My brethren, do not have the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, in favoritism.

¹¹ (For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of the Rephaim. Behold, his couch was a couch of iron. Is it not in Rabbah of the sons of Ammon? Nine cubits was the length of it and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.)

⁵ And he lay down and slept under a juniper tree, and behold, a messenger touched him and said to him, Arise and eat. ⁶ And he looked, and behold, there was at his head a cake baked on the coals and a jar of water. And he ate and drank and laid him down again.

¹¹ Then the devil leaves him, and behold, messengers came and were serving him.

³ And if I dismiss them starving to their house, they will be fainting on the road; for some of them have come from far away.

²⁹ And do not seek what you might eat or what you might drink, and do not be in anxious suspense. ³⁰ For the nations of the world are seeking after all these things, but your Father knows that you have need of these things. ³¹ However, seek the kingdom of God and all these things will be added to you.

¹⁸ Now the bondservants and the attendants were standing there, having made a coal-fire, because it was cold, and they were warming themselves and Peter was standing and warming himself with them.

¹⁰ Jesus says to them, Bring some of the little-fish which you have now clutched in the net.

¹³ Therefore Jesus comes and takes the bread and gives it to them and the little-fish likewise.

⁶ And having done this, they locked up together a large multitude of fish, and their net was being ripped; ⁷ and they signaled to their companions, those in the other ship, that they should come to help them. And they came and filled both the ships, so-that they are about to be submerged. ⁸ But Simon Peter, when he saw it, fell down before Jesus’knees, saying, Go away from me, because I am a man, a sinner, O Lord.

²⁹ And Jacob asked him and said, I beseech you, tell me your name.
And he said, Why is it that you ask for my name? And he blessed him there.
³⁰ And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel, for, I have seen God face to face and my life is preserved.

³² But they were not considering the declaration, and were afraid to ask him.

⁴⁵ But they were not considering this declaration, and it was hiding from them, in order that they might not comprehend it, and they were afraid to ask him concerning this declaration.

²⁷ And his disciples came upon this, and marveled that he was speaking with a woman; nevertheless, no one said, What are you seeking? Or, Why are you speaking with her?

¹⁹ Therefore, Jesus knew that they were wishing to ask him, and he said to them, Are you debating with one another concerning this thing which I said, A little while and you do not view me, and again, A little while and you will see me?

¹⁵ Therefore when they had a meal, Jesus says to Simon Peter, Simon, Son of Jonah, do you ^{F} love me more-than these things?
He says to him, Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.
He says to him, Feed my lambs.

⁴¹ not to all the people, but to witnesses that have been assigned before by God, even to us, who ate and drank together with him after he rose up from the dead.

⁹ Therefore as they stepped away to the land, they see a coal-fire laying there and a little-fish laying on it and bread.

³ Remember now, O Jehovah, I beseech you, how I have walked before you in truth and with a perfect heart and have done what is good in your sight. And Hezekiah wept greatly.

⁷⁰ He also chose David his servant and took him from the sheepfolds. ⁷¹ He brought him from following the ewe-lambs that have their young, to be the shepherd of Jacob his people and Israel his inheritance.
⁷² So he was their shepherd according to the integrity of his heart and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.

¹¹ He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will gather the lambs in his arm and carry them in his bosom, and will gently lead those who have their young.

¹⁵ And I will give you* shepherds according to my heart, who will feed you* with knowledge and understanding.

⁴ And I will set up shepherds over them who will feed them. And they will fear no more, nor be dismayed. Neither will any be lacking, says Jehovah.

² Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy and say to them, even to the shepherds, Thus says the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the sheep?
³ You* eat the fat and you* clothe yourselves with the wool. You* kill the fattened-ones, but you* do not feed the sheep. ⁴ You* have not strengthened the diseased, nor have you* healed what was sick, nor have you* bound up what was broken, nor have you* brought back what was driven away, nor have you* sought what was lost, but you* have ruled over them with force and with rigor.
⁵ And they were scattered because there was no shepherd. And they became food to all the beasts of the field and were scattered. ⁶ My sheep wandered through all the mountains and upon every high hill. Yes, my sheep were scattered upon all the face of the earth and there was none who searched or sought.
⁷ Therefore, you* shepherds, hear the word of Jehovah: ⁸ As I live, says the lord Jehovah, surely inasmuch as my sheep became a prey and my sheep became food to all the beasts of the field, because there was no shepherd, nor did my shepherds search for my sheep, but the shepherds fed themselves and did not feed my sheep, ⁹ therefore, you* shepherds, hear the word of Jehovah.
¹⁰ The lord Jehovah says thus: Behold, I am against the shepherds and I will require my sheep at their hand and cause them to cease from feeding the sheep. Neither will the shepherds feed themselves any more and I will deliver my sheep from their mouth, that they may not be food for them.

²³ And I will set up one shepherd over them and he will feed them, even my servant David. He will feed them and he will be their shepherd.

³⁷ He who loves his father or mother above me is not worthy of me, and he who loves his son or daughter above me is not worthy of me.

¹⁷ And Jesus answered and said to him, You are fortunate, Simon, Son of Jonah, because flesh and blood has not revealed it to you, but my Father, the one in the heavens.

¹⁰ See that you do not despise one of these little ones; for I say to you, that in the heavens their messengers are always looking at the face of my Father who is in the heavens.

³⁴ Then the King will be saying to those at his right, Come-here, those who have been blessed from my Father, inherit the kingdom which has been prepared for you from the conception of the world: ³⁵ for I was hungry and you gave me food to eat; I was thirsty and you gave me a drink; I was a stranger and you led me in; ³⁶ I was naked and you dressed me; I was sick and you visited me; I was in prison and you came to me.
³⁷ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry and nourish you? Or thirsty and gave you a drink? ³⁸ But when did we see you as a stranger and lead you in? Or naked and dressed you? ³⁹ But when did we see you sick or in prison and came to you?
⁴⁰ And when the King answers, he will say to them, Assuredly I am saying to you, Inasmuch as you did it to one of these, my brethren, even the least, you did it to me. ⁴¹ Then he will also say to them at the left, Travel away from me, you those who have been cursed into the everlasting fire which has been prepared for the devil and his messengers: ⁴² for I was hungry and you did not give me anything to eat; I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink; ⁴³ I was a stranger and you did not lead me in; naked and you did not dress me; sick and in prison and you did not visit me.
⁴⁴ Then they will also answer, saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty, or as a stranger or naked, or sick or in prison, and did not serve you?
⁴⁵ Then he will answer them, saying, Assuredly I am saying to you, Inasmuch as you did it not to one of these, the least, neither did you do it to me.

³³ But Peter answered and said to him, If all will be offended at you; but I will never be offended.

³⁵ Peter says to him, Even if it is essential for me to die together with you, I may never deny you. And all the disciples said likewise.

²⁹ But Peter said to him, Even if all will be offended, but not I.

³² Do not fear, little flock, because your Father was delighted to give you the kingdom.

³² But I besought concerning you, in order that your faith may not fail, and someday having turned back again, establish your brethren.

⁴² And he led him toward Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, You are Simon, the Son of Jonah, you will be called Cephas, which is by translation, a Pebble.

⁴² Therefore Jesus said to them, If God was your Father, you would love me; for I came out and have come from God; for neither have I come from myself, but from that one who sent me.

³⁷ Peter says to him, Lord, why am I not able to follow you even now? I will lay down my life on your behalf.

¹⁵ If you love me, keep my commandments.
¹⁶ And I will be requesting of the Father and he will be giving you another Helper, in order that he may abide with you forever, ¹⁷ the Spirit of the truth, whom the world is not able to receive, because it does not view him, nor knows him, but you know him, because he is abiding with you and will be in you. ¹⁸ I will not be leaving you orphans. I am coming to you. ¹⁹ Still a little while and the world views me no more, but you view me, because I am living, you will also be living. ²⁰ You will know in that day that I am in my Father and you in me and I in you. ²¹ He who holds my commandments and is keeping them, that one is he who loves me and he who loves me will be loved by my Father and I will love him and will be manifesting myself to him.
²² Judas (not Iscariot) says to him, Lord, what has happened that you are about to manifest yourself to us and not to the world?
²³ Jesus answered and said to him, If anyone loves me, he will be keeping my word and my Father will love him, and we will be coming to him and we will be making our abode with him. ²⁴ He who does not love me, is not keeping my words.
And the word which you hear is not mine, but the Father’s, he who sent me.

²⁷ for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me and have believed that I came forth from God.

²⁸ Therefore, take-heed to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit placed you as overseers, to shepherd the congregation of the Lord and God, which the Lord acquired through his own blood.

¹ But receive the one who is weak in the faith, yet not for the judging of his reasonings.

¹ Now we, the able, ought to bear the weaknesses of the powerless and not to please ourselves.

¹ And brethren, I was not able to speak to you as to spiritual people, but as to fleshly ones, as to infants in Christ. ² I gave you milk to drink and not food, for you were not yet able to eat it. But still you are not able even now, ³ for you are still fleshly. For where there is jealousy and strife and dissensions among you, are you not fleshly, and are you not walking according to the manner of man?

¹¹ And the weak brother will be perishing on the basis of your knowledge, but Christ died because of him.

²¹ The greeting from Paul with my own hand. ²² If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed. The Lord has come!

¹⁴ For the love of Christ is holding us together with him, having judged this thing: if one died on behalf of all, consequently, all died; ¹⁵ and he died on behalf of all, in order that those who are living should no longer live to themselves, but to the one who died and rose again on their behalf.

⁶ For neither circumcision nor uncircumcision prevails over anything in Christ Jesus, but faith working through love.

¹⁴ in order that we may no longer be infants, bobbing on the waves and being carried around in every wind of teaching, in the trickery of men, in craftiness, toward the schemes of error.

²⁴ Grace is with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in incorruption. Amen.

¹⁵ Meditate on these things; be diligent in them; in order that your progress may be apparent to all. ¹⁶ Take-heed to yourself and to the teaching. Abide in these things; for while practicing this, you will be saving both yourself and those who hear you.

¹³ And there is no created thing unapparent in his sight, but all things are naked and have been laid-bare to his eyes to whom is our account.

¹² Hence straighten the drooping hands and the paralyzed knees; ¹³ and make^*\'b0 straightened tracks for your feet, in order that what is lame may not be turned aside, but rather should be healed.

²⁰ Now the God of peace, who brought up the great shepherd of the sheep, our Lord Jesus, from the dead in the blood of an everlasting covenant,

⁸ You love whom you have not seen; now you believe in whom you do not see; in both you are glad with unspeakable and glorified joy;

² as newborn babies, long-for the logical milk which has no treachery, in order that you may grow in it;

²⁵ For you were being misled like sheep, but now were returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

¹ I am encouraging the elders the ones among you, (the fellow elder and witness of the sufferings of the Christ, also the partner of the glory which is about to be revealed). ² Shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising the oversight, not by compulsion, but willfully, nor covetously, but eagerly; ³ nor like one lording it over his inheritances, but by becoming examples to the flock. ⁴ And when the Chief-Shepherd is made manifest, you will be getting the unfading crown of glory.

¹⁹ We love him, because he loved us first.

¹ Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born from God and everyone who loves the one who fathered us, also loves the one who has been born from him.

²³ And I will be killing her children with death, and all the congregations will know that I am he who is searching the kidneys and hearts and I will be giving to you, each one according to your works.

⁷ Because he is our God and we are the people of his pasture and the sheep of his hand.
Today, O that you* would hear his voice!

³ Know that Jehovah, he is God. It is he who has made us and we are his. We are his people and the sheep of his pasture.

⁷ Awake, O sword, against my shepherd and against the man who is my companion, says Jehovah of hosts. Strike the shepherd and the sheep will be scattered. And I will turn my hand upon the little ones.

⁶ ‘And Bethlehem, a land of Judah, you are by no means least among the governors of Judah; for a leader will be coming forth from you, who will be shepherding my people Israel.’

³² and all the nations will be gathered before him, and he will be separating them one from another, like the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats;

⁷² And again he denied with an oath, I do not know the man.

³ Now he spoke to them this parable, saying: ⁴ What man out of you, having a hundred sheep and having lost one out of them, does not leave the ninety nine in the wilderness and travel to what has been lost, until he should find it? ⁵ And having found it, he places it upon his own shoulders, rejoicing. ⁶ And when he comes to his house, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice together with me, because I have found my sheep which has been lost. ⁷ I say to you thus, that there will be joy in heaven over one repenting sinner, more than over ninety nine righteous ones, who have no need of repentance.

¹⁰ For the Son of Man came to seek and save what has been lost.

¹¹ I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life on behalf of the sheep. ¹² But the hired-servant and not being the shepherd, whose sheep are not his own, views the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees and the wolf seizes them and scatters the sheep. ¹³ Now the hired-servant flees because he is a hired-servant and he himself does not care concerning the sheep. ¹⁴ I am the good shepherd, and I know my own and I am known by my own, ¹⁵ just-as the Father knows me and I know the Father, and I lay down my life on behalf of the sheep. ¹⁶ And I have other sheep, which are not out of this pen; it is also essential for me to lead those and they will be hearing my voice and there will become one flock, only one shepherd.

²⁶ But you do not believe, for you are not from my sheep just-as I said to you. ²⁷ My sheep hear my voice and I know them and they are following me,

¹⁷ Therefore, the maidservant who was the doorkeeper says to Peter, Are you also one out of this man’s disciples?
That man says, I am not.

²⁵ Now Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. Therefore they said to him, Are you also one out of his disciples?
Therefore that man denied and said, I am not.

² Shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising the oversight, not by compulsion, but willfully, nor covetously, but eagerly;

¹⁷ because the Lamb, who is in the midst of the throne, is shepherding them and is guiding them to the springs of waters of life and God will be wiping-away every tear from their eyes.

²² The Mighty One, God, Jehovah, the Mighty One, God, Jehovah, he knows and Israel he will know, if it is in rebellion, or if in trespass against Jehovah (do not save us this day),

¹⁸ And she said to Elijah, What have I to do with you, O you man of God? You have come to me to bring my sin to remembrance and to kill my son!

¹⁷ I know also, my God, that you try the heart and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things. And now I have seen with joy your people, who are present here, offer willingly to you.

⁴ Does he not see my ways and number all my steps?
⁵ If I have walked with falsehood and my foot has hastened to deceit ⁶ (let me be weighed in an even balance, that God may know my integrity);

⁸ Jehovah will judge the peoples. Judge me, O Jehovah, according to my righteousness and to my integrity that is in me.
⁹ O let the evil of the wicked man come to an end, but establish the righteous man. For the righteous God tries the minds and hearts.

³ You have proved my heart. You have visited me in the night. You have tried me and find nothing. I have purposed that my mouth will not transgress.

¹⁰ I, Jehovah, search the mind. I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his practices.

³³ For he does not afflict willingly, nor grieve the sons of men.

⁴⁰ And when the King answers, he will say to them, Assuredly I am saying to you, Inasmuch as you did it to one of these, my brethren, even the least, you did it to me.

⁷³ Now after a little while, those who are standing by, came near and said to Peter, You truly also are one out of them; for even your speech makes it evident.
⁷⁴ Then he began to curse and to swear, I do not know the man. Now immediately, the rooster crowed. ⁷⁵ And Peter was reminded of the declaration which Jesus had said to him, Before the rooster crows, you will be denying me three-times. And having gone outside, he wept bitterly.

⁷² And the rooster crowed the second-time. And Peter was reminded of the declaration that Jesus said to him, Before the rooster crows twice, you will be denying me three-times. And having put his thoughts on it, he was weeping.

⁶¹ And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. And Peter was reminded of the word of the Lord, how that he said to him, Before the rooster crow, you will be denying me three-times. ⁶² And he went outside and wept bitterly.

²⁴ But Jesus himself was not entrusting himself to them, because he knew all men, \ulnone\nosupersub ²⁵ and because he had no need that anyone should testify concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.

⁸ For the poor you always have with you, but you do not always have me.

³⁸ Jesus answered him, Will you lay down your life on my behalf? Assuredly, assuredly, I am saying to you, The rooster may never crow, until you will be denying me three-times.

¹⁵ If you love me, keep my commandments.

¹⁰ If you keep my commandments, you will be abiding in my love; just-as I have kept my Father’s commandments and am abiding in his love.

³⁰ Now we know that you know all things and do not have need that anyone should ask you. We believe that you came forth from God with this speech.

⁴ Therefore Jesus, knowing all the things which were coming upon him, went forth and says to them, Whom are you seeking?

²⁷ Therefore Peter denied again and immediately the rooster crowed.

¹⁵ Therefore when they had a meal, Jesus says to Simon Peter, Simon, Son of Jonah, do you ^{F} love me more-than these things?
He says to him, Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.
He says to him, Feed my lambs.
¹⁶ He says to him again a second-time, Simon, Son of Jonah, do you ^{F} love me?
He says to him, Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.
He says to him, Shepherd my sheep.

²⁴ And having prayed, they said, You Lord, knower of the hearts of all, show which one out of these two you have chosen

⁸ And God, the knower of hearts, testified of them, having given them the Holy Spirit, just-as he did also to us;

¹² For this is our boasting, the testimony of our conscience, that in clarity and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, we conducted ourselves in the world and even-more toward you.

⁴ For I wrote to you out of much affliction and dismay of heart through many tears; not in order that you should be made sorrowful, but that you may know the love that I have even-more toward you.
⁵ But if anyone has caused-sorrow, he has not caused-sorrow to me, (that I may not burden him), but partially to you all. ⁶ Sufficient to such a one is this penalty which was inflicted by the many; ⁷ so-that you, rather instead, are to forgive him and to encourage him, lest such a one might be swallowed up with his sorrow even-more.

⁸ Because even if I made you sorrowful in the previous letter, I do not regret it; even if I was regretting it. For I see that, that letter made you sorrowful, even if but for a season. ⁹ I now rejoice, not that you were made sorrowful, but that you were made sorrowful to repentance; for you were made sorrowful according to the will of God, in order that you might suffer-damage in nothing from us. ¹⁰ For the sorrow which is according to the will of God is working unregrettable repentance for salvation, but the sorrow of the world is working death. ¹¹ For behold how much diligence this same thing, (your being sorrowful according to the will of God), has worked in you : but what a defense, but what indignation, but what fear, but what longing, but what zeal, but what vengeance! In everything you commended yourselves to be pure in the matter.

⁸ I do not speak according to commandment, but I am testing the genuineness of your love through the diligence of others. ⁹ For you know the favor of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet he became-poor because of you, in order that you might be enriched through that poverty.

³⁰ And do not make the Holy Spirit of God sorrowful, in whom you were sealed to the day of redemption.

⁶ In which hope you are glad now for a few moments, if it is essential, you have been made sorrowful in various tests,

¹² Hence, I will habitually not be neglecting to remind you concerning these things, although you know them and are established in the present truth. ¹³ But I am deeming it righteous, inasmuch as I am in this tabernacle, to arouse you with a reminder; ¹⁴ knowing that the removal of my tabernacle is coming quickly, just-as our Lord Jesus Christ indicated to me. ¹⁵ But I will also be diligent, each-time, to have you in remembrance of these things, to practice them after my exodus.

¹ Beloved, this is already the second letter that I am writing among you, and in both of them I am awakening your sincere mind in a reminder;

¹⁶ We have known love in this, because that man laid down his life on our behalf and we ought to lay down our lives on behalf of the brethren. ¹⁷ But whoever has the world’s good life and should view his brother having need and then should lock his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? ¹⁸ My little-children, do not love in word, nor with the tongue, but in work and in truth. ¹⁹ And we know in this that we are from the truth and will persuade our hearts before him; ²⁰ because if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart and he knows all things. ²¹ Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have boldness toward God; ²² and whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we are keeping his commandments and are practicing the things which are pleasing in his sight. ²³ And this is his commandment, in order that we should believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and should love one another, just-as he gave commandment to us. ²⁴ And he who is keeping his commandments abides in him and he in him. And we know in this that he abides in us, from the Spirit whom he gave us.

⁷ For they went forth on behalf of the Name, taking nothing from the Gentiles. ⁸ Therefore we ought to receive those who are such, in order that we should become fellow workers for the truth.

¹⁹ As many as I love, I reprove and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent.

²⁷ Now my soul has been disturbed, and what should I say? Father, save me from this hour? But I came to this hour because of this. ²⁸ Father, glorify your name.
Therefore, a voice came from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it and will be glorifying it again.

³⁶ Simon Peter says to him, Lord, where are you going?
Jesus answered him, I am going where you are not able to follow now, but you will be following me later.

³ And having seen that it is pleasing to the Jews, he also adds Peter to take. (And these were the days of unleavened bread.) ⁴ He also arrested him, and placed him in prison and gave him to four companies of four soldiers to guard him; planning to lead him out to the people after the Passover.

¹¹ And he came to us and took Paul’s belt, and having bound his own feet and hands, said, The Holy Spirit says these things, The Jews in Jerusalem will be binding thus the man whose belt this is, and will be giving him up into the hands of the Gentiles.

⁴ For indeed we who are in this tabernacle are groaning, being burdened; not in which we wish to be stripped, but we wish for ourselves to be clothed, in order that the mortal one may be swallowed up by life.

²⁴ But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him and has followed me fully, him will I bring into the land into which he went and his seed will possess it.

²⁰ And Samuel said to the people, Do not fear. You* have indeed done all this evil, yet do not turn aside from following Jehovah, but serve Jehovah with all your* heart.

³⁸ Now he who is not taking up his cross and following after me, is not worthy of me.

²¹ Jesus began to show to his disciples from then on, that it is essential for him to go to Jerusalem and to suffer many things from the elders and high-priests and scribes, and to be killed, and to arise in the third day. ²² And Peter took him and began to rebuke him, saying, God will be lenient to you, Lord. This will never be happening to you.
²³ But he turned and said to Peter, Go behind me, adversary! You are an offense to me, because you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.
²⁴ Then Jesus said to his disciples, If anyone is willing to come after me, let him deny himself and lift up his cross and follow me. ²⁵ For whoever wishes to save his life, will be losing it, and whoever loses his life because of me will be finding it.

²⁸ But Jesus said to them, Assuredly I am saying to you, that you who have followed me, whenever the Son of Man sits upon the throne of his glory in the regeneration, you will also sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

³³ But he turning again, and seeing his disciples, rebuked Peter, saying, Go behind me, adversary, because you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.
³⁴ And having called the crowd together with his disciples to him, he said to them, Whoever wishes to follow after me, let him deny himself, and lift up his cross and follow me. ³⁵ For whoever wishes to save his life will be losing it, and whoever loses his life because of me and because of the good-news, this one will be saving it. ³⁶ For what will it profit a man, if he has gained the whole world and should forfeit his soul? ³⁷ Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? ³⁸ For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this generation, the adulteress and sinner, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him, whenever he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy messengers.

²² saying, It is essential for the Son of Man to suffer many things, and to be rejected by the elders and high-priests and scribes, and to be killed and to rise in the third day.
²³ Now he said to all, If anyone wishes to come after me, let him deny himself, and lift up his cross and follow me. ²⁴ For whoever wishes to save his life will be losing it, but whoever loses his life because of me, this one will be saving it. ²⁵ For what is a man profited, having gained the whole world, but has lost or forfeited himself? ²⁶ For whoever is ashamed of me, and of my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him whenever he comes in his own glory, and the glory of the Father and of the holy messengers.

²⁶ If anyone serves me, let him follow me, and where I am, my servant will also be there. And if anyone serves me, the Father will be honoring him.

³³ (But he said this, signifying by what sort of death he was about to die.)

³⁶ Simon Peter says to him, Lord, where are you going?
Jesus answered him, I am going where you are not able to follow now, but you will be following me later.
³⁷ Peter says to him, Lord, why am I not able to follow you even now? I will lay down my life on your behalf.

³² (This happened in order that the word of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spoke signifying by what sort of death he was about to die.)

²² Jesus says to him, If I will for him to abide until I come, what is that to you? You, follow me!

²⁰ according to my earnest expectation and hope, that I will be shamed in nothing, but as always, now Christ will also be magnified in my body in all boldness, whether through life or through death.

¹¹ If anyone is speaking, speak as the oracles of God; if anyone is serving, serve as from the strength which God is supplying; in order that God may be glorified in all things through Jesus Christ to whom is the glory and the dominion forevermore. Amen.
¹² Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, happening to you for a test, as though a strange thing is befalling to you. ¹³ But accordingly you are sharing in the sufferings of the Christ with us, rejoice, in order that you may also rejoice in the revelation of his glory, being glad. ¹⁴ If you are reproached in the name of Christ, you are fortunate, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. He is indeed blasphemed according to their manner, but he is glorified according to your manner.

¹⁴ knowing that the removal of my tabernacle is coming quickly, just-as our Lord Jesus Christ indicated to me.

²³ But one of his disciples was reclining on Jesus’bosom, the one whom Jesus loved. ²⁴ Therefore, Simon Peter signals to him to inquire, who it might be, concerning whom he is speaking about. ²⁵ But that man who had leaned upon Jesus’chest says to him, Lord, who is it?
²⁶ Jesus answers, It is that man to whom I have dipped the morsel, and I will be giving it to him. And having dipped the morsel, he takes it and gives it to Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son.

³ Now when he sat upon the Mountain of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of your presence and of the end of the world? ⁴ And Jesus answered and said to them, Beware, do not let anyone mislead you.

²³ Now someone said to him, Lord, if only those few are saved?
But he said to them, ²⁴ Struggle to enter in through the narrow gate, because I am saying to you, Many will be seeking to enter in and will not be strong-enough.

⁶ Therefore indeed, having come together, they asked him, saying, Lord, are you restoring the kingdom to Israel at this time?
⁷ Now he said to them, It is not yours to know times or seasons, which the Father placed in his own authority.

²⁷ For the Son of Man is about to come in the glory of his Father with his messengers, and then he will be giving to each one according to his practice. ²⁸ Assuredly I am saying to you, Some of those who are standing here may never taste of death, until they should see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.

³ Now when he sat upon the Mountain of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of your presence and of the end of the world?

²⁷ For just-like the lightning comes from the east and appears even to the west; so also will be the presence of the Son of Man.

⁴⁴ Because of this, you also, become prepared, because the Son of Man is coming in an hour you do not think.

³¹ But whenever the Son of Man comes in his glory and all the holy messengers with him. Then he will be sitting upon the throne of his glory;

¹ And he was saying to them, Assuredly I am saying to you, There are some of those standing here, who may never taste of death, until they should see the kingdom of God having come in power.

¹⁹ Now he spoke this signifying by what sort of death he should glorify God. And having said this, he says to him, Follow me.

⁵ So-then, do not judge anything before the time, until the Lord should come, who will both be illuminating the hidden things of darkness and will be manifesting the plans of the hearts, and then the praise from God will happen for each.

²⁶ For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are proclaiming the Lord’s death till whenever he comes.

⁷ Therefore brethren, have patience until the presence of the Lord. Behold, the farmer is waiting for the precious fruit of the earth, having patience over it, until it should receive the morning and evening rainfall.

⁷ Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will be seeing him and those who stabbed him, and all the tribes of the earth will be grieving over him. Yes he comes, Amen.

²⁵ However hold-fast^\'b0 to what you have, till whenever I have come.

¹¹ I am coming shortly. Hold-fast what you have, in order that no one may take your crown.

⁷ And behold, I am coming shortly. The fortunate one is keeping the words of the prophecy of this book.

²⁰ He who is testifying of these things says, Yes, I am coming shortly. Amen.
Yes come, Lord Jesus.

²⁹ The secret things belong to Jehovah our God, but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our sons until everlasting, that we may do all the words of this law.

²⁸ And to man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom and to depart from evil is understanding.

¹³ Why do you strive against him because he does not give account of any of his matters?

³⁵ And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing and he does according to his will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth. And none can stay his hand, or say to him, What are you doing?

¹⁵ And Peter stood up in these days in the midst of the disciples (and a crowd of people
were in the same place, approximately a hundred and twenty) and said,

²⁷ and you also will be testifying, because you have been with me from the beginning.

³⁵ And he who has seen, has testified and his testimony is true and he knows that he says true things, in order that you might believe.

¹ What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we saw and our hands touched, concerning the Word of life ² and the life was manifested and we have seen and are testifying and reporting to you the everlasting life, which was with the Father and was manifested to us.

⁶ This is he who came through water and blood–Jesus Christ; not only in the water, but in the water and in the blood. And it is the Spirit who is testifying, because the Spirit is the truth.

¹² As for Demetrius, he has been testified of by all and by the truth itself. But we also are testifying and you know that our testimony is true.

¹⁴ Behold, these are but the end of his ways. And how small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?

⁵ Many, O Jehovah my God, are the wonderful works which you have done and your thoughts which are toward us. They cannot be set in order to you. If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

¹⁵ My mouth will tell of your righteousness, of your salvation all the day, because I do not know the numbers.

¹² And furthermore, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end and much study is a weariness of the flesh.

¹⁰ Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam King of Israel, saying, Amos has conspired against you in the midst of the house of Israel. The land is not able to bear all his words.

⁵ the blind recover their sight and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, the dead are raised and the poor have the good-news proclaimed to them.

²⁴ But again I am saying to you, It is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

³⁰ Therefore, Jesus indeed did many other signs also in the sight of his disciples, which are not written in this book; ³¹ but these have been written, in order that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and in order that believing you may have life in his name.

³⁸ Jesus who was from Nazareth; how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went through out the land working good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, because God was with him.

³⁵ I showed to you an example in all things, that so laboring, it is essential to help the weak and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that he himself said, It is more fortunate to give than to receive.

³² And what more should I say? For the time will fail me if I describe the things concerning Gideon, Barak, and both Samson and Jephthah; both David and Samuel, and the prophets:
