³ And while he is sitting upon the Mountain of Olives opposite the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,

¹⁰ And the disciples came and said to him, Why do you speak to them in parables?

³⁶ Then Jesus, having left the crowds, went into the house and his disciples came to him, saying, Explain to us the parable of the darnels of the field.

¹ And after six days Jesus takes with him Peter and James and John his brother, and privately brings them up into a high mountain.

¹ And when they drew near to Jerusalem and came to Bethphage, toward the Mountain of Olives, Jesus then sent two disciples,

³ Now when he sat upon the Mountain of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of your presence and of the end of the world?

¹⁶ Now walking beside the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother, who are Simon’s sons, casting a net in the sea; for they were fishermen. ¹⁷ And Jesus said to them, Come-here after me and I will make you to become fishermen of men. ¹⁸ And immediately they left their nets and followed him. ¹⁹ And having advanced a few feet from there, he saw James and John his brother, the son s of Zebedee, and they were in the ship mending the nets.

³⁴ But he was not speaking to them without a parable, but privately he was interpreting all things for his disciples.

³⁷ And he allowed no one to follow him, except Peter and James and John the brother of James.

² And after six days Jesus takes with him Peter and James and John and brings them up alone into a high mountain privately, and he was transfigured before them;

³⁵ And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, travel before him, saying, Teacher, we wish that whatever we ask, you might do it for us.

³³ And he takes with him Peter and James and John, and began to be utterly amazed and disheartened.

⁴⁰ One out of the two who heard this from John was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother and he followed him. ⁴¹ This one finds first his own brother Simon and says to him, We have found the Messiah (which is, after being translated, The Christ).
