⁷ But they are worshiping me in futility, teaching as their teachings–the commandments of men.’

³² Whatever thing I command you*, that will you* observe to do. You will not add to it, nor diminish from it.

²¹ And do not turn not aside after vain things which cannot profit nor deliver, for they are vain.

¹³ And the Lord said, Inasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but have removed their heart far from me, but in vain they worship me, teaching the commandments and doctrines of men.

¹⁴ You* have said, It is vain to serve God and what profit is it that we have kept his charge and that we have walked mournfully before Jehovah of hosts?

⁷ And while praying, do not be repetitious just-like the Gentile; for they think that they will be heard in their many words.

¹⁴ and if Christ has not been raised up, consequently, our preaching is empty, your faith is also empty.

¹⁸ I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, if anyone should add onto them, God might add onto him the wounds which have been written in this book.
