¹ Jehovah, I have called upon you. Make haste to me. Listen to my voice when I call to you.

²¹ And why do you not pardon my transgression and take away my iniquity? For now I will lie down in the dust and you will seek me diligently, but I will not be.

¹⁹ But be not far off, O Jehovah. O you my helper, you hasten to help me.

¹³ Be pleased, O Jehovah, to deliver me. Make haste to help me, O Jehovah.

¹⁷ and do not hide your face from your servant, because I am in distress. Answer me speedily. ¹⁸ Draw near to my soul and redeem it. Ransom me because of my enemies.

⁵ But I am poor and needy. Make haste to me, O God. You are my help and my deliverer, O Jehovah. Do not delay.

¹² O God, do not be far from me. O my God, make haste to help me.

¹ Hear my prayer, O Jehovah. Listen to my supplications. Answer me in your faithfulness and in your righteousness.

⁷ Make haste to answer me, O Jehovah, my spirit fails. Do not hide your face from me, lest I become like those who go down into the pit.
