² Now we have known that the judgment of God is according to truth upon those who practice such things.

²⁵ Far be it from you to do such a thing, to kill a righteous man with a wicked man, that so the righteous man should be as the wicked man. Far be it from you. Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

¹⁷ Behold he who hates lawlessness and who destroys evil men, who is forever righteousness, ¹⁸ who says to a king, You are worthless, to ranking men, You * are wicked, ¹⁹ who does not respect the persons of rulers, nor regards the rich more than the poor. For they all are the work of his hands.

²³ For he needs no further to consider a man, that he should go before God in judgment.

⁴ Because you have maintained my right and my cause. You sit in the throne judging righteously.

⁷ but Jehovah will endure everlasting.
He has prepared his throne for judgment, ⁸ and he will judge the world in righteousness. He will minister justice to the peoples in uprightness.

⁵ Jehovah tries the righteous man. But his soul hates the wicked man and he who loves violence. ⁶ He will rain snares upon sinners. Fire and brimstone and burning wind will be the portion of their cup.
⁷ Because Jehovah is righteous. He loves righteousness. The upright man will behold his face.

⁵ Your loving kindness, O Jehovah, is in the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies. ⁶ Your righteousness is like the mountains of God. Your judgments are a great deep. O Jehovah, you preserve man and beast.

¹³ before Jehovah, because he comes. Because he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness and the peoples with his truth.

¹⁷ Jehovah is righteous in all his ways and gracious in all his works.

¹⁹ I have not spoken in secret, in a place of the land of darkness. I did not say to the seed of Jacob, Seek me in vain. I, Jehovah, speak righteousness, declaring uprightness.

²¹ Declare and bring it forth. Yes, let them take counsel together. Who has shown this from long-ago? Who has declared it long since? Have not I, Jehovah? And there is no other God besides me, a just God and a Savior. There is none besides me.

¹ You are righteous, O Jehovah, when I contend with you. Yet I would reason the case with you. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why are all those at ease who deal very treacherously?

²⁵ Yet you* say, The way of the Lord is not equitable. Hear now, O house of Israel. Is not my way equitable? Are not your* ways inequitable?

²⁹ Yet the house of Israel says, The way of the Lord is not equitable. O house of Israel, are not my ways equitable? Are not your* ways inequitable?

³⁷ Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, for all his works are truth and his ways justice. And he is able to humble those who walk in pride.

⁵ Jehovah in the midst of her is righteous. He will not do unrighteousness. Every morning he brings his justice to light. He does not fail, but the unjust man knows no shame.

³¹ because he has established a future day in which to judge the inhabited-earth in righteousness in the man whom he has determined beforehand; having provided the faith to all, by having raised him from the dead.

⁵ But you store up wrath for yourself according to your hardness and unrepentant heart in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

⁴ Let it not happen! Now, let God become true, but everyone a liar; just-as it has been written, ‘ That you should be made righteous in your words and may overcome when you are judged.’ ⁵ For if our unrighteousness is establishing the righteousness of God, what will we say? The God who brings upon us wrath is not unrighteous, is he? (I speak according to the manner of man.)

¹⁴ Therefore what shall we say? There is not unrighteousness with God, is there? Let it not happen!

⁵ This is an example of the righteous judgment of God; that you may be deemed worthy of the kingdom of God, on behalf of which you are also suffering; ⁶ if indeed it is a righteous thing with God to repay affliction to those who are afflicting you; ⁷ and to you who are afflicted with us, a rest at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with the messengers of his power, ⁸ giving vengeance in a fire of flame to those who do not know God and to those who are not obeying the good-news of our Lord Jesus Christ, ⁹ who will be suffering-punishment, the sentence of everlasting utter-destruction away from the face of the Lord, and away from the glory of his strength, ¹⁰ whenever he may come to be glorified in his holy-ones, and to be marveled at in that day in all those who have believed, (because our testimony to you was believed).

³ And they are singing the song of Moses the bondservant of God and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are your works, O Lord God, the Almighty; your ways are righteous and true, the King of the nations. ⁴ Who should never fear you, Lord, and should glorify your name? Because only you are holy, because all the nations will be coming and will be worshiping in your sight, because your righteousnesses were manifested.

⁵ And I heard the messenger of the waters saying, You are righteous, who is and who was, the Holy One, because you judged these things;

² because true and righteous are his judgments, because he has judged the great prostitute, she who was corrupting the earth in her fornication and he has avenged the blood of his bondservants from her hand.
