Romans 2:1 Cross References - MLV

¹ Hence O man, you are without defense, everyone who judges; for in what you are judging the other, you are condemning yourself; for you who judge are practicing the same things.

⁵ And David's anger was greatly kindled against the man and he said to Nathan, As Jehovah lives, the man who has done this is worthy to die. ⁶ And he will restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing and because he had no pity.
⁷ And Nathan said to David, You are the man. Jehovah says thus, the God of Israel, I anointed you king over Israel and I delivered you out of the hand of Saul.

¹⁶ But to the wicked man God says, What have you to do to declare my statutes and that you have taken my covenant in your mouth, ¹⁷ since you hate instruction and cast my words behind you?
¹⁸ When you saw a thief, you consented with him and have been partaker with adulterers. ¹⁹ You give your mouth to evil and your tongue frames deceit. ²⁰ You sit and speak against your brother; you slander your own mother's son.

¹ Do not judge, in order that you might not be judged! ² For in what judgment you judge, you will be judged and in what measure you measure, it will be measured to you. ³ And why are you looking at the speck, the one in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the beam in your own eye? ⁴ Or how will you say to your brother, Allow me, that I may cast out the speck from your eye, and behold, the beam in your own eye? ⁵ You hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of your own eye, and then you will see precisely to cast out the speck from your brother’s eye.

²⁹ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you build the burial chambers of the prophets and adorn the tombs of the righteous, ³⁰ and say, If we were in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partners with them in the blood of the prophets. ³¹ So-then you are testifying to yourselves, that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets.

³⁷ And do not judge and you may never be judged; do not sentence others and you may never be sentenced; release and you will be released.

²² But he says to him, I will be judging you out of your own mouth, you evil bondservant. You knew that I am an austere man, lifting up from what I did not lay down and reaping what I did not sow?

⁷ Now as they were remaining, asking him, he stood-erect and said to them, The sinless one among you, let him cast the first stone upon her. ⁸ And again he stooped downward and was writing in the soil.
⁹ Now when they heard it, being convicted by their conscience, they were going out one by one, having begun from the elder ones and Jesus was being left alone, and the woman being in his midst.

¹⁸ For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven upon all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men and upon those holding back the truth in unrighteousness; ¹⁹ because what is known of God is apparent among them; for God manifested it to them. ²⁰ For the invisible things of him are clearly seen from the creation of the world, being perceived by the things made, both his eternal power and divinity; that they may be without defense;

³ Now O man, who is judging those who practice such things and you are practicing the same things. Are you reasoning that you will be fleeing from the judgment of God?

²¹ Therefore you who are teaching a different one, are you not teaching yourself? You who are preaching not to steal, are you stealing? ²² You who are saying to not commit adultery, are you committing adultery? You who detest idols, are you a temple looter? ²³ You who are boasting in the law, through your transgression of the law, are you dishonoring God?

²⁶ Therefore, if the uncircumcision are observing the ordinances of the law, will his uncircumcision not be counted toward circumcision? ²⁷ And the uncircumcision by nature who is completing the law, will be judging you, who are a transgressor of the law through the writing
and circumcision.

²⁰ But-rather, O man, who are you who answers back against God? The molded thing will not say to the one who molded it, why did you make me so, will it?

¹⁶ For what do you know O wife, if you will be saving your husband? Or what do you know O husband, if you will be saving your wife?

²⁰ But O vain man, are you willing to know that faith is dead without works?

¹¹ Brethren do not speak against one another. He who is speaking against a brother and is judging his brother, is speaking against the law and is judging the law. Now if you are judging the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge.
