⁴ Pertained it not vnto the onelie, and after it was solde, was not the price in thine owne power? Howe is that, thou hast conceiued this thinge in thyne herte? Thou hast not lied vnto men, but vnto God.

⁸ And moreouer spake Moses. At euen the Lord wil geue you flesh to eate, and in the mornynge bread ynough, because the Lord hath hearde youre murmure which ye murmur against him: for what are we? your murmuryng is not agaynst vs, but agaynst the Lorde.

²¹ And they went (as many as their hartes coraged them & as many as their spirites made them wyllynge) and brought heue offringes vnto the Lorde, to the makyng of the tabernacle of wytnesse & for all hys vses & for the holy vestimentes. ²² And the men came with the wemen (euen as many as were wyllyng harted) and brought bracelettes, earynges, rynges & gyrdels & all maner Iewels of golde. And al the men that waued waue offrynges of golde vnto the Lorde

²⁹ And the chyldren of Israel brought willynge offrynges vnto the Lorde, both men & wemen: as many as their hartes made them wyllynge to brynge, for all maner workes whych the Lorde had commaunded to make by the hande of Moses.

¹¹ For which cause both thou and all thy companye are gathered togither agaynst the Lord: for what is Aaron, that ye shoul murmure agaynst him.

²⁵ And Iosua sayde: In as muche as thou hast troubled vs, the Lorde shal trouble the thys daye. ⁵ with goulde where it becometh, and wyth syluer where syluer is mete, and for all maner of worcke by the handes of artificers. And let me se who is wyllynge also, to fyll hys hande for the Lorde thys daye.

⁹ And the people reioysed that they were so wyllynge: for wyth a pure herte they were wyllynge vnto the Lorde. And therto Dauid the kynge reioysed with great gladnesse.

¹⁴ Beholde, he trauyleth wyth mischefe, he hath conceaued vnhappinesse, and broughte forth a lye.

⁴ Noman regardeth righteousnes, and noman iudged truely. Euery man hopeth in vayne thinges, and ymagyneth disceyte, conceyueth werynesse, and bringeth forth euyl.

¹⁶ He that heareth you, heareth me, and he that dispyseth you, despyseth me: & he that despyseth me, despiseth hym that sente me.

⁹ Then saied Peter vnto her: why haue ye agreed together to tempte the spiryte of the Lorde? Beholde, the fete of them whiche haue buried thy husbande, are at the dore, and shal cary the out.

Doeth God take thought for oxen? ¹⁰ Either saith he it not altogether for our sakes? For our sakes no doubte this is written: that he whiche eareth, shoulde eare in hope: & that he whych thresheth in hope, should be partaker of hys hope. ¹¹ Yf we sowe vnto you spyrytuall thinges: is it a great thinge yf we reape youre carnall thinges. ¹² Yf other be partakers of this power ouer you: wherfore are not we rather? Neuerthelesse we haue not vsed thys power but suffer all thinges leste we shoulde hinder the Gospell of Christe ¹³ Do ye not vnderstande howe that they whiche minister in the temple, haue their fyndynge of the temple? And they whych wayte at the aulter, are partakers of the aulter? ¹⁴ Euen so also dyd the Lord ordaine, that they which preach the Gospel, shoulde lyue of the Gospell. ¹⁵ But I haue vsed none of these thinges. Neither wrote I these thinges, that it should be so done vnto me. For it were better for me to dye, then that anye shoulde take this reioysinge from me. ¹⁶ In that I preache the Gospel, I haue nothinge to reioyce of. For necessytye is put vnto me. Wo is it vnto me yf I preach not the Gospel. ¹⁷ Yf I do it wyth a good wil, I haue a rewarde. But yf I do it against my wyl, an offyce is committed vnto me.

⁸ He therfore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, whiche hath sente his holye spirite amonge you.

¹⁴ Neuer thelesse, wythout thy mynde, woulde I do nothynge, that the good whiche spryngeth of the shoulde not be as it were of necessytie, but wyllynglye. ¹⁵ Then when luste hath conceyued, she bringeth forth sinne, & sinne when it is fynyshed bryngeth forthe death.
