¹⁹ And then Abraham buryed Sara hys wyfe in the double caue of the felde that lyeth before Mamre, otherwyse called Ebron in the land of Canaan.

¹⁹ In the swete of thy face shalt thou eate brede, vntyll thou returne vnto the erth whence thou wast taken: for erth thou art, & vnto erth shalt thou returne.

⁹ And hys sonnes Isaac & Ismael buried hym in the double caue in the felde of Ephron sonne of Zoar the Hethite before Mamre. ¹⁰ Which field Abraham bought of the sonnes of Heth: There was Abraham buried & Sara hys wyfe.

²⁷ Then Iacob went vnto Isaac his father to Mamre a principal city, otherwise called Hebron: where Abraham & Isaac soieourned as straungers. ²⁸ And the dayes of Isaac were an hundred & .lxxx. yeres: ²⁹ & then fell he sycke & dyed, & was put vnto his people beyng olde and full of dayes. And his sonnes Esau and Iacob buried him.

³⁰ but let me lye by my fathers, and carye me out of Egypte, and burye me in their buryall. And he answered: I wyll do as thou hast sayde.

²⁹ And he charged them & sayd vnto them. I shalbe put vnto my people: se that ye burye me wyth my fathers, in the caue that is in the felde of Ephron the Hethyte, ³⁰ in the double caue that is in the felde before Mamre in the lande of Canaan. Which feld Abraham boughte of Ephron the Hethyte for a possession to burye in. ³¹ There they buryed Abraham and Sara his wyfe, there they buryed Isaac & Rebecca his wyfe. And there I buried Lea ³² which felde and the caue that is therin, was bought of the chyldren of Heth.

¹³ And his sonnes caryed him in to the land of Canaan & buryed him in the double caue which Abraham had bought wyth the felde to be a place to burye in, of Ephron the Hethite before Mamre.

²⁵ And Ioseph toke an ooth of the chyldren of Israel and sayd: God wyl not fayle but vpset you: se therfore that ye cary my boones hence.

²³ Sure I am, that thou wilt delyuer me vnto death: where as a lodgynge is prepared for all men lyuinge.

³ If a man begette an hundred chyldren, and lyue manye yeares, so that his dayes are many in number, and yet cannot enioy his good neyther be buried: as for him I saye, that an vntymely byrth is better then he.

⁵ when men shall feare in hye places, and be afrayed in the stretes: when the Almonde tree shalbe despised, the greshopper borne out, & when great pouerte shall breake in: when man goeth to his longe home, and the mourners go about the stretes.

⁷ Or dust be turned agayn vnto earth from whence it came, and or the sprete returne vnto God, whyche gaue it.
