¹ Abraham was old and stryken in dayes, & the Lorde had blessed him in all thynges.

² And I wyll make of the a myghty people, and wyll blesse the, and make thy name greate, that thou maiste be a blessynge.

² Abram was verye ryche in cattell, syluer, & golde.

¹¹ Abraham and Sara were both olde and well stryken in age, and it ceased to be wyth Sara after the maner as it is with wyues.

⁵ And Abraham was an hundred yere old, when his sonne Isaac was borne vnto him.

³⁵ and the Lorde hath blessed my master out of measure, that he is become greate, & hath geuen hym shepe oxen, siluer & golde, men seruantes maydeseruantes, camels and asses.

²⁰ And Isaac was .xl. yere old when he toke Rebecca to wyfe, the doughter of Bethuel the Sirian of Mesopotamia & sister to Laban the Sirien.

²⁵ Thy fathers God shall helpe the, & the almyghtie shal blesse the wt blessynges from heauen aboue, and wyth blessynges of the water that lieth vnder, & with blessynges of the brestes and of the wombe.

¹ When Kynge Dauid was waxen olde and stryken in yeares, thoughe they couered him with clothes yet he caught no heate.

¹ Prayse the euerlastynge. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, and hath great delite in hys commaundementes. ² Hys sede shal be mighty vpon earth the generacyon of the faythfull shalbe blessed. ³ Ryches and, plenteousnesse shalbe in hys house, and hys ryghtuousnesse endureth for euer.

²² The blessing of the Lord maketh rich men, as for carefull trauayle, it doth nothynge therto.

² Consydre Abraham youre father, & Sara that bare you: how that I called him alone prospered hym well, & encreased him:

³³ But rather seke ye first the kyngdome of heauen and the rightuousnes therof, & all these thynge shalbe ministred vnto you.

⁷ And they had no childe: because that Elyzabeth was barren, and both were well striken in age.

⁹ So then they whiche be of faythe are blessed with faythful Abraham.

³ Blessed be God the father of oure Lorde Iesus Christe, which hath blessed vs wyth all maner of spyrytuall blessynges in heauenlye thynges by Christe,

⁸ For bodely exercyse profyteth lytell: But godlynes is good vnto all thynges, as a thynge whiche hath promyses of the lyfe that is now, and of the lyfe to come.
