¹¹ There is sprong vp a lighte for the ryghteous, and a ioyfull gladnesse for suche as be true herted.

⁴ Vnto the godly there aryseth vp lyghte in the darcknesse: he is mercyfull, louynge and ryghtuous.

¹⁸ The path of the ryghtuous shyneth as the lyghte, and is euer brighter and brighter vnto the perfecte daye.

¹⁷ For I wyll geue the thy healthe agayne, and make thy woundes whole, sayeth the Lorde, because they reuyled the, as one caste awaye, and despysed, O Syon.

⁶ Beholde (saieth the Lorde) I will heale their woundes, and make them whole: I wyll open them the treasure of peace and trueth.

² He hath wounde vs, & he shall bind vs vp agayne after two dayes shall he quicken vs, in the thirde day he shal rayse vs vp, so that we shal lyue in his sight. ³ Then shall we haue vnderstanding, and endeuoure oure selues to knowe the Lorde. He shall go forth as the springe of the daye, & come vnto vs as the eueninge and morninge rayne vpon the earth.

⁴ O (yf they wolde do thys) I shulde heale theyr sores: yea wyth al my herte wolde I loue them: so that my wrath shuld cleane be turned awaye from them.

² But vnto you that feare my name, shall the Sonne of ryghteousnesse aryse, and healthe shalbe vnder his winges: ye shal go forth, & multipply as the fat calues.

¹⁵ For this people hertes are waxed grosse, and their eares were dull of hearynge, and their eyes haue they closed, lest they should se with their eyes, and heare with their eares, and shoulde vnderstand with their hertes, & should tourne that I myght heale them.

⁴ When he loked on hym he was afraid and said, what is it Lord? He sayed vnto hym: Thy prayers and all thy almeses are come vp into remembraunce before God.

³¹ and sayd: Cornelius, thy prayer is hearde, and thine almes deades are had in remembraunce in the sight of God.

³⁵ but in all people he that feareth hym and worketh rightuousnes, is accepted wyth hym.
