¹⁴ And the wemen saide vnto Noemi: blessed be the Lorde, the which hath not lefte the wythout an heyre this day that shal haue a name in Israel,

² And I wyll make of the a myghty people, and wyll blesse the, and make thy name greate, that thou maiste be a blessynge.

²⁷ & sayd: blessed be the lorde God of my master Abraham whych ceasseth not to deale mercyfully & truly wyth my master, & hath brought me the waye to my masters brothers house.

³⁵ And she conceyued yet agayne, and bare a sonne sayinge: nowe wyll I prayse the Lorde: therfore she called hys name Iuda, and left bearyng.

¹ Of Dauid, when he fayned hym self too be madde before Abimelech: whyche droue hym awaye, and he departed. I wyll alwaye geue thanckes vnto the LORD, hys prayse shall euer be in my mouth. ² My soule shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall heare therof, & be glad. ³ O prayse the Lord wyth me, and let vs magnyfye hys name together.

¹ Of Dauid. Prayse the Lorde O my soule: & all that is within me prayse hys holy name. ² Prayse the Lord O my soule & forget not all his benefites.

¹ After this there shall come a road forth of the kynrede of Iesse, & a blossome oute of his rote. ² The spyryt of the Lorde shall lyghte vpon it, the spyryte of wisedome and vnderstandynge: the spirit of councell, & strength: the spirite of knowledge, and of the feare of God: ³ and shall make him feruent in the feare of God. He shall smyte the worlde wyth the staffe of hys mouthe, & with the breathe of his mouth shall he slay the wicked.

For that which is conceyued in her is of the holye Ghost.

⁵⁸ And her neighbours and her cosyne harde tell howe the Lorde had shewed great mercye vpon her, And they reioyceth with her.

¹⁵ Be merye with them that are merye. Wepe with them that wepe.

²⁶ And yf one member be had in honoure, all the membres be glad also.

¹⁸ In all thinges geue thankes. For thys is the wyll of God in Christe Iesu towarde you.

³ We are bounde to thanke God alwayes for you brethren, as it mete, because that your fayth groweth excedingly, and euerye one of you swimmeth in loue towarde another betwene youre selues,
