⁸ Morning by morning, I will destroy all the wicked of the land; to cut off all evildoers from the LORD's city.

⁴ There is a river, the streams of which make the city of God glad, the holy place of the tents of the Most High.

² Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is Mount Zion, in the far north, the city of the great King.

⁸ As we have heard, so we have seen, in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God. God will establish it forever. Selah.

¹⁰ I will cut off all the horns of the wicked, but the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up.

¹⁰ All the nations surrounded me, but in the name of the LORD, I cut them off. ¹¹ They surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me. In the name of the LORD I indeed cut them off. ¹² They surrounded me like bees. They blazed like a fire among thorns. In the name of the LORD I cut them off.

¹² It is an abomination to kings to do wickedness, for the throne is established by righteousness.

⁸ A king who sits on the throne of judgment scatters away all evil with his eyes.

²⁶ A wise king winnows out the wicked, and drives the threshing wheel over them.

¹² 'House of David, thus says the LORD, "Execute justice in the morning, and deliver him who is robbed out of the hand of the oppressor, lest my wrath go forth like fire, and burn so that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.

³ They won't dwell in the LORD's land; but Ephraim will return to Egypt, and they will eat unclean food in Assyria.

⁸ But lately my people have risen up as an enemy. You strip the robe and clothing from those who pass by without a care, returning from battle. ⁹ You drive the women of my people out from their pleasant houses; from their young children you take away my blessing forever. ¹⁰ Arise, and depart. For this is not your resting place, because of uncleanness that destroys, even with a grievous destruction.

¹ I said, "Please listen, you heads of Jacob, and rulers of the house of Israel: Isn't it for you to know justice? ² You who hate the good, and love the evil; who tear off their skin, and their flesh from off their bones; ³ who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them, and break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron. ⁴ Then they will cry to the LORD, but he will not answer them. Yes, he will hide his face from them at that time, because they made their deeds evil."

⁹ Please listen to this, you heads of the house of Jacob, and rulers of the house of Israel, who abhor justice, and pervert all equity.

²⁷ There will in no way enter into it anything profane, or one who causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

¹⁴ Blessed are they who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city. ¹⁵ Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
