¹⁴ But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness to him: neither can he understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. ¹⁵ He who is spiritual judges the worth of all things, yet he himself is judged by no man.

⁹ For we are labourers together with God: you are God's field, God's building. ¹⁰ According to the grace of God which is given to me, as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation, and another builds upon it. But let every man take heed how he builds upon it. ¹¹ For no other foundation can man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

⁴ In the name of our Lord Jesus, when you are gathered together, with my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus, ⁵ Deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord Jesus. ⁶ Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? ⁷ Clean out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you really are unleavened. For Christ our passover has been sacrificed for us: ⁸ Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

⁸ But food does not commend us to God: if we eat, we are none the better; if we do not eat, we are none the worse.

³ For I delivered to you as of first importance that which I received, that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; ⁴ And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

⁵⁰ Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.

⁵⁵ O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?

¹⁰ But whom you forgive anything, I forgive also: for what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, was for your sakes in the presence of Christ;

³ And you show that you are letters of Christ delivered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not on tablets of stone, but on tablets of human hearts.

¹⁰ For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive what is due him for the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

¹⁶ And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? for we are the temple of the living God; as God has said, I will live in them, and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

¹⁴ And no wonder; for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. ¹⁵ Therefore it is no surprise if his servants are also disguised as servants of righteousness; their end shall be according to their works.

¹¹ But I want you to know, brethren, that the gospel which I preached is not from man. ¹² For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came by revelation from Jesus Christ.

¹⁶ To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles; I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood:

⁹ And when James, Cephas, and John, who were reputed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given to me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship; that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcised.

⁹ A little leaven leavens the whole lump.

¹⁷ That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: ¹⁸ That the eyes of your heart may be enlightened; so you may know what is the hope of his calling, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,

⁸ For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

¹⁹ Now then, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and members of the household of God; ²⁰ Built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the cornerstone; ²¹ In whom the whole building is joined together and grows to become a holy temple in the Lord: ²² In whom you also are built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit.

⁵ Which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

¹⁰ That now, to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places, the manifold wisdom of God might be known through the church,

¹⁸ May be able to comprehend, with all the saints, its breadth, and length, and height, and depth; ¹⁹ And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fulness of God.

²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church, and gave himself up for her; ²⁶ That he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water through the word, ²⁷ That he might present her to himself a glorious church, without spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that she should be holy and without blemish.

³² This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

⁸ Knowing that whatever good thing any man does, he shall receive the same back from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free.

¹² For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against authorities, against the powers of darkness of this world, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

¹⁹ Whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, with minds set on earthly things.

¹⁸ He is also the head of the body, the church: he is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have preeminence.

²⁴ Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh that which is lacking in the afflictions of Christ for his body's sake, which is the church:

²⁶ That is, the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but has now been made manifest to his saints; ²⁷ To whom God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the riches of the glory of this mystery; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

² Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

⁹ For they themselves testify about what manner of reception we had from you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God; ¹⁰ And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, that is, Jesus, who delivers us from the wrath to come.

³ That no man should be disturbed by these afflictions: for you yourselves know that we are destined for this.

⁸ Therefore, he who rejects this, does not reject man, but God, who has also given you his Holy Spirit.

¹⁶ For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

⁷ And to give rest to you who are afflicted, along with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire, ⁸ Taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. ⁹ They shall be punished with eternal ruin and exclusion from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; ¹⁰ When he shall come to be glorified in his saints on that day, and to be marveled at among all those who believe, including you, because our testimony among you was believed.

⁵ (For if a man does not know how to manage his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

²⁸ Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us be grateful, and worship God acceptably, with reverence and awe:

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who by his abundant mercy has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, ⁴ To an imperishable and undefiled inheritance, that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, ⁵ Who are guarded by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

¹⁷ And if you address as Father the one who without partiality judges according to every man's work, then pass the time of your stay on earth in reverent fear:

¹ Therefore, since Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves with the same mind: for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin; ² That he may live the rest of his time in the flesh no longer for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.

⁵ Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

²⁰ And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding, that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

¹⁴ And Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord comes with myriads of his holy ones,

⁷ Behold, he comes with the clouds; and every eye shall see him, even those who pierced him: and all families of the earth shall mourn because of him. Even so, Amen.

²³ And I will strike her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he who searches minds and hearts: and I will give to every one of you as your deeds deserve.

⁷ And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These are the words of he who is holy, he who is true, he who has the key of David, he who opens, and no man shuts; and shuts, and no man opens;

¹⁹ As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: therefore be zealous, and repent.
