³⁹ and knew not till the flood came and took them all away, so shall the coming of the Son of man be.

¹³ For this reason I speak to them in parables; because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor understand. ¹⁴ And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which says; Hearing you shall hear and not understand, and seeing you shall see and not perceive; ¹⁵ for the hearts of this people have become hard, and they hear imperfectly with their ears, and their eyes have they closed, lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn, and I should heal them.

³⁷ And as the days of Noah, so shall the coming of the Son of man be.
