¹² I have yet many things to say to you, but ye cannot bear them now.

³³ And with many such parables he spoke the word to them, as they were able to hear it.

³⁰ Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

¹⁵ Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard from my Father, I have made known to you.

³ To whom also he showed himself alive after his passion, by many infallible proofs, being seen by them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

¹ And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual, but as to carnal, even as to babes in Christ. ² I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

¹¹ Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. ¹² For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need of one to teach you again which are the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong food. ¹³ For every one that useth milk, is unskillful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. ¹⁴ But strong food belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
