² That he no longer should live the rest of [his] time in the flesh, to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

²¹ Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of the heavens: but he that doeth the will of my father who is in the heavens, he shall enter into the kingdom of the heavens.

⁵⁰ For whosoever does the will of my Father who is in the heavens, the same is my brother, and father, and mother.

³¹ Whether of them two did the will of his father? They say, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, that the publicans and harlots go ito the kingdom of God before you.

³⁵ For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

²¹ For from within, out of the heart of man proceed evil reasonings, fornications, thefts, adulteries, murder,

¹³ They were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, not of the will of man, but of God.

¹⁷ If any one will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or I speak of my self.

² God forbid: how shall we that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

¹¹ Likewise reckon ye also your selves dead indeed unto sin; but alive onto God through Jesus Christ.

⁴ Wherefore, my brethren, ye are also become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

² And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of the mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

⁷ For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.

¹⁵ And he died for all, that they who live, should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him who died for them, and rose again.

¹⁹ For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. ²⁰ I am crucified with Christ: Nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

³ Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past, in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh, and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

¹⁷ This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as the Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

²² That ye put off concerning the former conversation, the old man, who is corrupt according to the deceitful lust: ²³ And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; ²⁴ And that ye put on the new man, who after God is created in righteousness, and holiness, and truth.

⁷ Be not ye therefore partakers with them. ⁸ For ye were sometimes darkness, but now light in the Lord: walk as children of light,

¹⁷ Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord [is].

⁶ Not with eye-service, as men-pleasers, but the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;

⁹ For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding:

⁷ In the which ye also walked some time when ye lived in them. ⁸ But now you also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

¹² Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you; always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect, and fully assured in all the will of Christ,

¹⁸ In every thing give thanks: for this the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

³ For we our selves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, [and] hating one another. ⁴ But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, ⁵ Not by works of righteousness, which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us by the washing of regeneration, and renewing by the Holy Ghost; ⁶ Which he shed on us abundantly, through Jesus Christ our Saviour: ⁷ That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. ⁸ [This is] a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they who have believed in God, may be careful to employ themselves in honest trades: these things are good and profitable unto men.

²¹ Make us perfect in every good work: that we may do his will; working in us that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom [be] glory for ever: Amen.

¹⁸ Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first-fruits of his creatures.

¹⁴ As obedient children, not fashioning your selves according to the former lusts, in your ignorance:

¹ Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and evil-speakings,

¹⁴ Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him, for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. ¹⁵ For so is the will of God, that with well-doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:

¹⁷ And the world passeth away, and its lust: but he that doeth the will of God, abideth for ever.
