³ For the time past may suffice to have wrought the will of te Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:

²² Covetousness, deceit, wickedness, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemies, pride, foolishness:

³⁰ And the times of this ignorance God overlooked; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

²⁰ For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: ²¹ Because that when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkned. ²² Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools: ²³ And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God, into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four footed beasts, and creeping things. ²⁴ Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: ²⁵ Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. ²⁶ For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: For even their women changed the natural use into that which is against nature and use: ²⁷ And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the women, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. ²⁸ And even as they did not like to retain God in [their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient: ²⁹ Being filled with all unrighteousness, maliciousness, fornication, covetousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, ³⁰ Evil speakers, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventers of evil things, disobedient to parents, ³¹ Without understanding, covenant-breakers, without natural affection, unmerciful: ³² Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but consent to them that do them.

¹² Therefore, brethren, we are debters, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. ¹³ For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but is ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the flesh, ye shall live.

¹³ Let us walk honestly as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying

¹¹ And such were some of you: but ye have been washed, but ye have been sanctified, but ye have been justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and by the Spirit of our God.

² Ye know that when ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.

²¹ Lest when I come again unto you, my God will humble me, and that I shall bewail many who had sinned before, and have not repented of the uncleanness, and fornication, and lasciviousness which they have committed.

¹⁹ Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are, Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, laciviousness,

²¹ Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they who do such things, shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

² Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience. ³ Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past, in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh, and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

¹⁷ This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as the Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, ¹⁸ Having the understanding darkened, being alienated fro the life of God, through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: ¹⁹ Who despairing, have given themselves over to lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness and greediness.

¹⁸ And be not drunken with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit:

⁵ Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not the Lord.

³ For we our selves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, [and] hating one another.

¹⁴ As obedient children, not fashioning your selves according to the former lusts, in your ignorance:

⁴ For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were of old described as coming to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and, denying the only Lord, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

⁴ And the woman was arrayed in purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stone, and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand, full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication. ⁵ And upon her forehead [was] a name written, Mystery Babylon the great, the mother of harlots, and abominations of the earth.
