¹⁷ And it came to pass on one of the days, as he was teaching, the Pharisees and teachers of the law came together, now they were come together out of every village of Galilee and Judea, to be healed.

⁵ The blind receive their sight, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

¹ Then came to him the scribes and Pharisees, from Jerusalem, saying,

²² And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem, said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the dæmons casteth he out dæmons.

³⁰ And Jesus immediately knowing in himself, that virtue had gone out of him, and turning him about in the multitude, he said, Who touched my clothes?

¹ And there came together unto him the Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, which came from Jerusalem.

¹⁸ And they shall take up serpents in their hands, and if they drink any deadly thing it shall not at all hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

⁴⁶ And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, hearing them, and asking them questions.

²¹ And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying in their hearts, what does this man speak, blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?

³⁰ And the Pharisees and scribes murmured to his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners.

¹⁹ And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed all.

³⁰ But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel God, being not baptized of him,

⁴⁶ But he said some one hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone one of me.

⁵² Wo unto you lawyers: for ye have hidden the key of knowledge: and ye entred not in your selves, and them that were entring in, ye hindred. ⁵³ And as [he] said these things unto them, before all the people, the Pharisees and lawyers began to urge [him] vehemently, and to confer with him about many things: ⁵⁴ Seeking to obtain some occasion against him, that they might have wherewith to accuse him.

² And both the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying that, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.

²¹ But he that doth truth, cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

³⁰ By stretching forth [thine] hand to heal: and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy Son Jesus.
