¹⁷ And taking the cup He gave thanks and said, Take this and distribute it among yourselves.

¹⁶ And He took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven He blessed them; and brake and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude.

¹⁹ And He took bread, and gave thanks and brake it, and gave it to them, saying, This is my body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of me:

⁶ He that regardeth a day regardeth it to the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, in deference to the Lord he doth not regard it. So he, that eateth all sorts of food, eateth to the Lord; for he giveth God thanks for it; and he that eateth not of some kinds of food, in deference to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks for the rest.

⁴ For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be rejected, if it be received with thanksgiving: ⁵ for it is sanctified by the word of God and by prayer.
