9 G1722 Herein G5129 G26 was the love G2316 of God G5319 manifested G1722 in G2254 us, G3754 that G2316 God G649 hath sent G846 his G3439 only begotten G5207 Son G1519 into G2889 the world G2443 that G2198 we might live G1223 through G846 him.

10 G1722 Herein G5129 G2076 is G26 love, G3756 not G3754 that G2249 we G25 loved G2316 God, G235 but G3754 that G846 he G25 loved G2248 us, G2532 and G649 sent G846 his G5207 Son G2434 to be the propitiation G4012 for G2257 our G266 sins.

11 G27 Beloved, G1487 if G2316 God G3779 so G25 loved G2248 us, G2249 we G2532 also G3784 ought G25 to love G240 one another.

17 G1722 Herein G5129 G5048 is G3326 G2257 G26 love G5048 made perfect G2443 with us, that G2192 we may have G3954 boldness G1722 in G2250 the day G2920 of judgment; G3754 because G2531 as G1565 he G2076 is, G2532 even so G2070 are G2249 we G1722 in G5129 this G2889 world.

18 G2076 There is G3756 no G5401 fear G1722 in G26 love: G235 but G5046 perfect G26 love G906 casteth G1854 out G5401 fear, G3754 because G5401 fear G2192 hath G2851 punishment; G5399 and he that feareth G5048 is G3756 not G5048 made perfect G1722 in G1161 love.
