2 Chronicles 30:1-27 And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of Jehovah at Jerusalem, to keep the passover unto Jehovah, the God of Israel.

1 H3169 And Hezekiah H7971 sent H3478 to all Israel H3063 and Judah, H3789 and wrote H107 letters H669 also to Ephraim H4519 and Manasseh, H935 that they should come H1004 to the house H3068 of Jehovah H3389 at Jerusalem, H6213 to keep H6453 the passover H3068 unto Jehovah, H430 the God H3478 of Israel.

2 H4428 For the king H3289 had taken counsel, H8269 and his princes, H6951 and all the assembly H3389 in Jerusalem, H6213 to keep H6453 the passover H8145 in the second H2320 month.

3 H3201 For they could H6213 not keep H6256 it at that time, H3548 because the priests H6942 had not sanctified H4078 themselves in sufficient H5971 number, neither had the people H622 gathered themselves together H3389 to Jerusalem.

4 H1697 And the thing H3474 was right H4428 in the eyes of the king H6951 and of all the assembly.

5 H5975 So they established H1697 a decree H5674 to make proclamation H3478 throughout all Israel, H884 from Beer-sheba H1835 even to Dan, H935 that they should come H6213 to keep H6453 the passover H3068 unto Jehovah, H430 the God H3478 of Israel, H3389 at Jerusalem: H6213 for they had not kept H7230 it in great numbers H3789 in such sort as it is written.

6 H7323 So the posts H3212 went H107 with the letters H3027 from H4428 the king H8269 and his princes H3478 throughout all Israel H3063 and Judah, H4687 and according to the commandment H4428 of the king, H559 saying, H1121 Ye children H3478 of Israel, H7725 turn again H3068 unto Jehovah, H430 the God H85 of Abraham, H3327 Isaac, H3478 and Israel, H7725 that he may return H7604 to the remnant H6413 that are escaped H3709 of you out of the hand H4428 of the kings H804 of Assyria.

7 H1 And be not ye like your fathers, H251 and like your brethren, H4603 who trespassed H3068 against Jehovah, H430 the God H1 of their fathers, H5414 so that he gave them up H8047 to desolation, H7200 as ye see.

8 H7185 Now be ye not stiffnecked, H1 as your fathers H5414 were; but yield H3027 yourselves H3068 unto Jehovah, H935 and enter H4720 into his sanctuary, H6942 which he hath sanctified H5769 for ever, H5647 and serve H3068 Jehovah H430 your God, H2740 that his fierce H639 anger H7725 may turn away from you.

9 H7725 For if ye turn again H3068 unto Jehovah, H251 your brethren H1121 and your children H7356 shall find compassion H6440 before H7617 them that led them captive, H7725 and shall come again H776 into this land: H3068 for Jehovah H430 your God H2587 is gracious H7349 and merciful, H5493 and will not turn away H6440 his face H7725 from you, if ye return unto him.

10 H7323 So the posts H5674 passed H5892 from city H5892 to city H776 through the country H669 of Ephraim H4519 and Manasseh, H2074 even unto Zebulun: H7832 but they laughed them to scorn, H3932 and mocked them.

11 H582 Nevertheless certain H836 men of Asher H4519 and Manasseh H2074 and of Zebulun H3665 humbled H935 themselves, and came H3389 to Jerusalem.

12 H3063 Also upon Judah H3027 came the hand H430 of God H5414 to give H259 them one H3820 heart, H6213 to do H4687 the commandment H4428 of the king H8269 and of the princes H1697 by the word H3068 of Jehovah.

13 H622 And there assembled H3389 at Jerusalem H7227 much H5971 people H6213 to keep H2282 the feast H4682 of unleavened bread H8145 in the second H2320 month, H3966 a very H7230 great H6951 assembly.

14 H6965 And they arose H5493 and took away H4196 the altars H3389 that were in Jerusalem, H6999 and all the altars for incense H5493 took they away, H7993 and cast H5158 them into the brook H6939 Kidron.

15 H7819 Then they killed H6453 the passover H702 on the fourteenth H8145 day of the second H2320 month: H3548 and the priests H3881 and the Levites H3637 were ashamed, H6942 and sanctified H935 themselves, and brought H5930 burnt-offerings H1004 into the house H3068 of Jehovah.

16 H5975 And they stood H5977 in their place H4941 after their order, H8451 according to the law H4872 of Moses H376 the man H430 of God: H3548 the priests H2236 sprinkled H1818 the blood H3027 which they received of the hand H3881 of the Levites.

17 H7227 For there were many H6951 in the assembly H6942 that had not sanctified H3881 themselves: therefore the Levites H7821 had the charge of killing H6453 the passovers H2889 for every one that was not clean, H6942 to sanctify H3068 them unto Jehovah.

18 H4768 For a multitude H5971 of the people, H7227 even many H669 of Ephraim H4519 and Manasseh, H3485 Issachar H2074 and Zebulun, H3808 had not H2891 cleansed H398 themselves, yet did they eat H6453 the passover H3789 otherwise than it is written. H3169 For Hezekiah H6419 had prayed H559 for them, saying, H2896 The good H3068 Jehovah H3722 pardon every one

19 H3559 that setteth H3824 his heart H1875 to seek H430 God, H3068 Jehovah, H430 the God H1 of his fathers, H2893 though he be not cleansed according to the purification H6944 of the sanctuary.

20 H3068 And Jehovah H8085 hearkened H3169 to Hezekiah, H7495 and healed H5971 the people.

21 H1121 And the children H3478 of Israel H4672 that were present H3389 at Jerusalem H6213 kept H2282 the feast H4682 of unleavened bread H7651 seven H3117 days H1419 with great H8057 gladness; H3881 and the Levites H3548 and the priests H1984 praised H3068 Jehovah H3117 day H3117 by day, H5797 singing with loud H3627 instruments H3068 unto Jehovah.

22 H3169 And Hezekiah H1696 spake H3820 comfortably H3881 unto all the Levites H2896 that had good H7922 understanding H7919 in the service H3068 of Jehovah. H398 So they did eat H4150 throughout the feast H7651 for the seven H3117 days, H2076 offering H8002 sacrifices H2077 of peace-offerings, H3034 and making confession H3068 to Jehovah, H430 the God H1 of their fathers.

23 H6951 And the whole assembly H3289 took counsel H6213 to keep H312 other H7651 seven H3117 days; H6213 and they kept H7651 other seven H3117 days H8057 with gladness.

24 H2396 For Hezekiah H4428 king H3063 of Judah H7311 did give H6951 to the assembly H505 for offerings a thousand H6499 bullocks H7651 and seven H505 thousand H6629 sheep; H8269 and the princes H7311 gave H6951 to the assembly H505 a thousand H6499 bullocks H6235 and ten H505 thousand H6629 sheep: H7230 and a great number H3548 of priests H6942 sanctified themselves.

25 H6951 And all the assembly H3063 of Judah, H3548 with the priests H3881 and the Levites, H6951 and all the assembly H935 that came out H3478 of Israel, H1616 and the sojourners H935 that came out H776 of the land H3478 of Israel, H3427 and that dwelt H3063 in Judah, H8055 rejoiced.

26 H1419 So there was great H8057 joy H3389 in Jerusalem; H3117 for since the time H8010 of Solomon H1121 the son H1732 of David H4428 king H3478 of Israel H3389 there was not the like in Jerusalem.

27 H3548 Then the priests H3881 the Levites H6965 arose H1288 and blessed H5971 the people: H6963 and their voice H8085 was heard, H8605 and their prayer H935 came H6944 up to his holy H4583 habitation, H8064 even unto heaven.
