ECB⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁵ And you answer at the face of Yah Veh your Elohim, and say, My father was a destroyed Aramiy; and he descended to Misrayim and sojourned there with a few men and became a goyim - great, mighty and many: ⁶ and the Misrayim evilly entreated us and humbled us and gave us hard service: ⁷ and we cried to Yah Veh Elohim of our fathers: Yah Veh heard our voice and saw our humiliation and our drudgery and our oppression: ⁸ and Yah Veh brought us from Misrayim with a strong hand and with a spread arm and with great awesomenesses and with signs and with omens: ⁹ and he brought us to this place and gave us this land - a land flowing with milk and honey:
