Jeremiah 15

JUDGMENT
And Yah Veh says to me, Though Mosheh and Shemu El stand at my face, yet my soul is not toward this people: send them from my face, and go. 2 And so be it, if they say to you, Where go we? you say to them, Thus says Yah Veh: Such as are for death, to death; and such as are for the sword, to the sword; and such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for the captivity, to the captivity: 3 and upon them I visit four families - an oracle of Yah Veh the sword to slaughter and the dogs to drag and the flyers of the heavens and the animals of the earth to devour and ruin: 4 and I give them for an agitation into all sovereigndoms of the earth, because of Menash Sheh the son of Yechizqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah, for what he worked in Yeru Shalem. 5 For who compassions you, O Yeru Shalem? And who wags over you? And who turns aside to ask of your shalom? 6 You abandoned me - an oracle of Yah Veh; you go backward: and I spread my hand against you, and ruin you; I weary with sighing: 7 and I fan them with a winnowing basket in the portals of the land; I bereave them; I destroy my people since they return not from their ways. 8 Their widows are mighty to me above the sand of the seas: I bring on them - against the mother of the youths a ravager at noon: I fell her suddenly with terrors and anguish: 9 she who birthed seven, languishes; her soul expires: her sun goes down while it is yet day; she shames and blushes: and I give their survivors to the sword at the face of their enemies - an oracle of Yah Veh. 10 Woe is me, my mother, that you birthed me - a man of strife and a man of contention to the whole earth! I neither lent on usury nor men lent to me on usury; every one of them abases me. 11 Yah Veh says, In releasing, I release you for good; Interceded I not for you with the enemy in the time of evil and in the time of tribulation? 12 Breaks one iron - iron from the north? And copper? 13 I give your valuables and your treasures to the plunder without price; and that for all your sins, even in all your borders: 14 and I pass you and your enemies into a land you know not: for a fire kindles in my wrath which burns on you. 15 O Yah Veh, you know: remember me and visit me and avenge me of my pursuers; take me not away in the length of your wrath: know that for your sake, I bear reproach. 16 I found your words and I consume them; and your word to me is the rejoicing and cheerfulness of my heart: for your name is called on me, O Yah Veh Elohim Sabaoth. 17 I neither sat in the private counsel of ridiculers nor jumped for joy: I sat alone because of your hand: for you filled me with rage. 18 Why becomes my pain perpetual and my wound incurable - refusing to be healed? - altogether to me as a liar, and as waters not trustworthy? 19 So thus says Yah Veh, If you return, then I return you and stand you at my face: and if you take the esteemed from the glutton, you become as my mouth: have them return to you; and you return not to them: 20 and I give this people to you as a fenced copper wall: and they fight against you, and they prevail not against you: for I am with you to save you and to rescue you - an oracle of Yah Veh 21 and I rescue you from the palm of the evil and I redeem you from the hand of the tyrant.
