ECB⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹ And so be it, after many days, Yah Veh rests Yisra El from all their enemies all around; and Yah Shua is old and stricken and comes into days. ² And Yah Shua calls for all Yisra El and for their elders and for their heads and for their judges and for their officers and says to them, I am old and stricken and come into days: ³ and you - you saw all that Yah Veh your Elohim worked to all these goyim at your face; for Yah Veh your Elohim is he who fought for you. ⁴ See, I felled for you these goyim who survive to be an inheritance for your scions - from Yarden, and all the goyim I cut off, to the great sea at the entry of the sun. ⁵ And Yah Veh your Elohim expels them from your face and dispossesses them from your face; and you possess their land as Yah Veh your Elohim worded you. ⁶ Be mighty strong to guard and to work all inscribed in the scroll of the torah of Mosheh - that you not turn aside, right or left; ⁷ that you not go among these goyim who survive among you; neither memorialize the name of their elohim nor oath by them nor serve them nor prostrate to them: ⁸ but adhere to Yah Veh your Elohim, as you work to this day. ⁹ For Yah Veh dispossessed from your face great and mighty goyim: as for you - no man stands at your face to this day. ¹⁰ One man of you pursues a thousand: for Yah Veh your Elohim fights for you as he worded to you. ¹¹ Guard your souls mightily to love Yah Veh your Elohim. ¹² Else, if in turning back, you turn back, and adhere to the remnant of these goyim who survive among you - and intermarry with them and go in to them and they to you. ¹³ In knowing, know this: Yah Veh your Elohim adds not to dispossess these goyim from your face; and they become snares - snares to you and scourges in your sides and thorns in your eyes* until you destruct from off this good soil which Yah Veh your Elohim has given you. ¹⁴ And behold, this day I go the way of all the earth: and you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one word falls of all the good words Yah Veh your Elohim worded concerning you; all comes to you; not one word thereof falls. ¹⁵ So be it, as all good words come on you, which Yah Veh your Elohim words you; thus Yah Veh brings on you all evil words, until he desolates you from off this good soil which Yah Veh your Elohim gives you; ¹⁶ in trespassing the covenant of Yah Veh your Elohim which he misvahed you; and go and serve other elohim and bow yourselves to them; then Yah Veh kindles his wrath against you and you destruct quickly from off the good land he has given to you.
