YISRA EL CAPTURES KENAAN
And so be it, after the death of Yah Shua, the sons of Yisra El ask Yah Veh, saying, Who ascends for us against the Kenaaniy to begin to fight against them? 2 And Yah Veh says, Yah Hudah ascend: behold, I give the land into his hand. 3 And Yah Hudah says to Shimon his brother, Ascend with me into my pebble, to fight against the Kenaaniy; and I - I go with you into your pebble. - and Shimon goes with him. 4 And Yah Hudah ascends; and Yah Veh gives the Kenaaniy and the Perizziy into their hand: and they smite them in Bezeq - ten thousand men. 5 And they find Adoni Bezeq in Bezeq: and they fight against him and they smite the Kenaaniy and the Perizziy: 6 and Adoni Bezeq flees; and they pursue him and possess him and chop off the great digits of his hands and feet. 7 And Adoni Bezeq says, Seventy sovereigns, - the great digits of their hands and their feet chopped off glean under my table: as I worked, thus Elohim shalams me. - and they bring him to Yeru Shalem and there he dies. 8
YAH HUDAH CAPTURES YERU SHALEM
And the sons of Yah Hudah fight against Yeru Shalem and capture it; and smite it with the mouth of the sword and send the city on fire: 9 and afterward the sons of Yah Hudah descend to fight against the Kenaaniy who settle in the mountain and in the south and in the lowland: 10 and Yah Hudah goes against the Kenaaniy who settle in Hebron - the former name of Hebron is Qiryath Arba and they smite Sheshay and Achiy Man and Talmay. 11
KALEB CAPTURES DEBIR
And from there he goes against the settlers of Debir: and the former name of Debir is Qiryath Sepher. 12 And Kaleb says, To him who smites Qiryath Sepher and captures it, I give Achsah my daughter to woman. 13 - and Othni El the son of Qenaz the younger brother of Kaleb captures it; and he gives him Achsah his daughter to woman. 14

And Yah Hudah captures Azzah with the border thereof and Ashqelon with the border thereof and Eqron with the border thereof: 19 and Yah Veh is with Yah Hudah; and he dispossesses the mountain but dispossesses not the settlers of the valley because they have chariots of iron. 20 And they give Hebron to Kaleb as Mosheh worded: and he dispossesses the three sons of Anaq: 21 and the sons of Ben Yamin dispossess not the Yebusiy who settle Yeru Shalem; but the Yebusiy settle with the sons of Ben Yamin in Yeru Shalem to this day. 22 And the house of Yoseph ascends against Beth El: and Yah Veh is with them. 23 And the house of Yoseph sends to explore Beth El - the former name of the city is Luz. 24 And the guards see a man leave the city and they say to him, Have us see, we beseech you, the entrance to the city and we work you mercy. 25 And he has them see the entrance into the city, and they smite the city with the mouth of the sword; and send away the man and all his family: 26 and the man goes to the land of the Hethiy and builds a city; and calls the name thereof Luz - the name thereof to this day. 27

Menash Sheh dispossesses neither Beth Shean and her daughters nor Taanach and her daughters nor the settlers of Dor and her daughters nor the settlers of Yible Am and her daughters nor the settlers of Megiddo and her daughters; and the Kenaaniy will to settle in that land: 28 and so be it, when Yisra El strengthens, they set the Kenaaniy to vassal and in dispossessing, dispossess them not. 29 And Ephrayim dispossesses not the Kenaaniy who settle in Gezer; and the Kenaaniy settle in Gezer among them. 30 Zebulun dispossesses neither the settlers of Qitron nor the settlers of Nahalol; and the Kenaaniy settle among them and become their vassals. 31 Asher dispossesses neither the settlers of Akko nor the settlers of Sidon nor of Ach Lab nor of Achzib nor of Helbah nor of Aphek nor of Rechob: 32 and the Asheriy settle among the Kenaaniy the settlers of the land: for they dispossess them not. 33 Naphtali dispossesses neither the settlers of Beth Shemesh nor the settlers of Beth Anath; and he settles among the Kenaaniy the settlers of the land: and the settlers of Beth Shemesh and of Beth Anath become their vassals. 34 And the Emoriy press the sons of Dan into the mountain: for they allow them not to descend to the valley: 35 and the Emoriy will to settle in mount Heres in Ayalon and in Shaalbim: yet the hand of the house of Yoseph is heavy so that they become vassals: 36 and the border of the Emoriy is from the ascent of Acrabbim, from the rock and upward.
