Luke 14:26-35

ECB(i) 26 If anyone comes to me, and hates not his father and mother and woman and children and brothers and sisters - yes, and even his own soul, he cannot be my disciple. 27 And whoever bears not his stake, and comes after me, cannot be my disciple. 28
THE TOWER
For who of you, who wills to build a tower, indeed sits not down first and computes the expense, whether he has enough for the finishing? 29 Lest ever, after he places the foundation and is not able to fully complete, all who observe begin to mock him, 30 wording, This human began to build, and is not able to fully complete/shalam. 31
TREATY OF SHALOM
Or what sovereign, going to encounter war against another sovereign, indeed sits not down first, and counsels whether he is able by ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? 32 But if not, while the other is yet afar off, he apostolizes a presbytry and asks for shalom. 33 So then, everyone of you who bids not bye bye to all his holdings cannot be my disciple. 34
YAH SHUA ON INSIPID SALT
Salt is good: but the salt being insipid, how is it to season? 35 It is neither well fit for the earth, nor yet for manure; but for men to cast. Whoever has ears to hear, hear.
