Proverbs 2

ECB(i) 1 My son, if you take my sayings and hide my misvoth with you 2 - to hearken your ear to wisdom and spread your heart to discernment; 3 yes, if you call after discernment and give your voice for discerning; 4 if you seek her as silver and search for her as hid treasures 5 - then you discern the awe of Yah Veh and find the knowledge of Elohim. 6 For Yah Veh gives wisdom - from his mouth knowledge and discernment: 7 he treasures substance for the straight; a buckler to them who walk integriously: 8 he guards the paths of judgment and guards the way of his mercied. 9 Then you discern justness and judgment and straightnesses - every good route: 10 then wisdom enters your heart and knowledge pleases your soul; 11 intrigue guards you; discernment guards you; 12 to rescue you from the way of evil - from the man who words perversions: 13 who forsakes the paths of straightness to walk in the ways of darkness; 14 who cheers to work evil and twirls in the perversions of evil; 15 whose ways pervert - pervert in their routes: 16 to rescue you from the strange woman - from the stranger who smoothes it over with her sayings; 17 who forsakes the chiliarch of her youth and forgets the covenant of her Elohim. 18 For her house sinks to death and her routes to ghosts. 19 Neither return they who go to her nor overtake they of the paths of life. 20 So walk in the way of good and guard the paths of the just: 21 for the straight tabernacle in the land and the integrious remain therein: 22 and they who deal covertly are cut off from the earth; and the transgressors uprooted.
