  1 H1121 בני My son, H518 אם if H3947 תקח thou wilt receive H561 אמרי my words, H4687 ומצותי my commandments H6845 תצפן and hide H854 אתך׃ with
  2 H7181 להקשׁיב So that thou incline H2451 לחכמה unto wisdom, H241 אזנך thine ear H5186 תטה apply H3820 לבך thine heart H8394 לתבונה׃ to understanding;
  3 H3588 כי Yea, H518 אם if H998 לבינה after knowledge, H7121 תקרא thou criest H8394 לתבונה for understanding; H5414 תתן liftest up H6963 קולך׃ thy voice
  4 H518 אם If H1245 תבקשׁנה thou seekest H3701 ככסף her as silver, H4301 וכמטמונים for her as hid treasures; H2664 תחפשׂנה׃ and searchest
  5 H227 אז Then H995 תבין shalt thou understand H3374 יראת the fear H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H1847 ודעת the knowledge H430 אלהים of God. H4672 תמצא׃ and find
  6 H3588 כי For H3068 יהוה the LORD H5414 יתן giveth H2451 חכמה wisdom: H6310 מפיו out of his mouth H1847 דעת knowledge H8394 ותבונה׃ and understanding.
  7 H6845 וצפן He layeth up H3477 לישׁרים for the righteous: H8454 תושׁיה sound wisdom H4043 מגן a buckler H1980 להלכי to them that walk H8537 תם׃ uprightly.
  8 H5341 לנצר He keepeth H734 ארחות the paths H4941 משׁפט of judgment, H1870 ודרך the way H2623 חסידו of his saints. H8104 ישׁמר׃ and preserveth
  9 H227 אז Then H995 תבין shalt thou understand H6664 צדק righteousness, H4941 ומשׁפט and judgment, H4339 ומישׁרים and equity; H3605 כל every H4570 מעגל path. H2896 טוב׃ good
  10 H3588 כי When H935 תבוא entereth H2451 חכמה wisdom H3820 בלבך into thine heart, H1847 ודעת and knowledge H5315 לנפשׁך unto thy soul; H5276 ינעם׃ is pleasant
  11 H4209 מזמה Discretion H8104 תשׁמר shall preserve H5921 עליך shall preserve H8394 תבונה thee, understanding H5341 תנצרכה׃ shall keep
  12 H5337 להצילך To deliver H1870 מדרך thee from the way H7451 רע of the evil H376 מאישׁ , from the man H1696 מדבר that speaketh H8419 תהפכות׃ froward things;
  13 H5800 העזבים Who leave H734 ארחות the paths H3476 ישׁר of uprightness, H1980 ללכת to walk H1870 בדרכי in the ways H2822 חשׁך׃ of darkness;
  14 H8056 השׂמחים Who rejoice H6213 לעשׂות to do H7451 רע evil, H1523 יגילו delight in H8419 בתהפכות the frowardness H7451 רע׃ of the wicked;
  15 H834 אשׁר Whose H734 ארחתיהם ways H6141 עקשׁים crooked, H3868 ונלוזים and froward H4570 במעגלותם׃ in their paths:
  16 H5337 להצילך To deliver H802 מאשׁה   H2114 זרה   H5237 מנכריה from the stranger H561 אמריה with her words; H2505 החליקה׃ flattereth
  17 H5800 העזבת Which forsaketh H441 אלוף the guide H5271 נעוריה of her youth, H853 ואת   H1285 ברית the covenant H430 אלהיה of her God. H7911 שׁכחה׃ and forgetteth
  18 H3588 כי For H7743 שׁחה inclineth H413 אל unto H4194 מות death, H1004 ביתה her house H413 ואל unto H7496 רפאים the dead. H4570 מעגלתיה׃ and her paths
  19 H3605 כל   H935 באיה that go unto H3808 לא neither H7725 ישׁובון her return again, H3808 ולא   H5381 ישׂיגו take they hold H734 ארחות of the paths H2416 חיים׃ of life.
  20 H4616 למען That H1980 תלך thou mayest walk H1870 בדרך in the way H2896 טובים of good H734 וארחות the paths H6662 צדיקים of the righteous. H8104 תשׁמר׃ and keep
  21 H3588 כי For H3477 ישׁרים the upright H7931 ישׁכנו shall dwell in H776 ארץ the land, H8549 ותמימים and the perfect H3498 יותרו׃ shall remain
  22 H7563 ורשׁעים But the wicked H776 מארץ from the earth, H3772 יכרתו shall be cut off H898 ובוגדים and the transgressors H5255 יסחו shall be rooted H4480 ממנה׃ from the earth,
